A method for the catalytic formation of electroauxiliaries and subsequent anodic oxidation has been developed. The process interfaces N-heterocyclic carbene-based organocatalysis with electro-organic synthesis to achieve direct oxidation of catalytically generated electroactive intermediates. We demonstrate the applicability of this method as a one-pot conversion of aldehydes to esters for a broad range of aldehyde and alcohol substrates. Furthermore, the anodic oxidation reactions are very clean, producing only H(2) gas as a result of cathodic reduction.  相似文献

A microscopic model of the growth of the thin anodic oxide film on Pt is presented. The slow step is migration of a Pt atom from the metal lattice to become a Pt(II) species. Pt(II) species can then rapidly diffuse across the surface. Sites of different types, e.g. terrace atoms or step atoms, have different reactivity, dependent on their number and type of bonds. Monte Carlo simulations are used to predict the kinetics and the surface reconstruction. The treatment of the structures of the oxide and metal is oversimplified by the assumption that they both have simple cubic unit cells with identical lattice parameters. The model predicts correctly the observed direct logarithmic growth law for potential step transients, without any change in behavior at full monolayer coverage. For cyclic voltammetry, it predicts an anodic peak on the first cycle, and plateau behavior for subsequent cycles. The reversible component is found, and interpreted in terms of a reversible reconstruction aided by the rapid surface diffusion. The height distributions predicted by this model agree with recent structural measurements, but the exact topography of the surface after multiple cycles is not reproduced.  相似文献

Anodic fluorination of some electrophilic alkenes (conjugated with electron-withdrawn groups), ethyl cinnamates, RC6H4CHCHCO2Et (R = H, CH3, CH3O, F and CF3), cinnamonitrile, C6H4CHCHCN, phenyl stryryl ketone, and t-butyl styryl ketone using ammonium fluorides as the fluorine source and supporting electrolyte, in CH2Cl2 as electrolytic solvent yields the expected vicinal difluoro compounds, as mixture of erythro and threo isomers. The anodic fluorination of phenyl 3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxystyryl ketone yields two monofluoro compounds. A possible reaction mechanism is discussed.  相似文献

A novel electrochemical methods namely standard free anodic stripping voltammetry and anodic stripping voltammetric titration are proposed for determination of dissolved sulfide concentration. 2Ag+ + S2− → Ag2S reaction is used to provide the information. The anodic stripping voltammetric response of unreacted silver-ions at the glassy carbon electrode is used as analytical signal. Results reliability and accuracy are confirmed by analysis of model solutions, spiked natural and tap waters and recovery study, with a recovery of 100 ± 5% (n = 7) obtained. The approaches show the detection limit (3σblank) of 2-5 × 10−10 mol L−1 and the relative standard deviation of 2-5% for repeated measurements.  相似文献

Substituted phenols were anodically coupled to the corresponding 2,2'-biphenols via tetraphenoxy borate derivatives. This electrochemical method is particularly useful for methyl-substituted substrates, such as 2,4-dimethyl phenol. The determination of selenium in the presence of tellurium and copper has been studied, to allow analysis of anodic slimes from electrolytic copper refining. Three methods have been developed for the determination of selenium in these slimes. They are based on the extraction of selenium with sodium sulphite, reduction of selenite with sodium sulphite, and separation of selenium and tellurium by adjustment of pH. Selenium (10(-3)-10(-2)M) is determined in the presence of tellurium, copper, iron, silver and lead. The methods are fast and simple, do not need expensive reagents, and give satisfactory results.  相似文献

We have studied the adsorption of Ar on regular, highly-ordered alumina membranes made by anodization. The straight, non-interconnected pores have nominal diameters of 31 and 83 nm, with a relative dispersion better than 5 % in the pore size. Adsorption isotherms taken on bare membranes with pores of 83 nm present two distinct hysteresis loops. This is found to be a consequence of the fabrication procedure that yields a central circular region formed by open pores surrounded by an outer ring with closed bottom pores of smaller size, about 40 nm. For the membrane with pores of 31 nm, the difference between these pores is much smaller, about 2 nm, and this explains why the isotherms on these membranes show a single hysteresis loop as expected. Detailed real space analysis of the membranes by electron microscopy confirms the adsorption conclusions.  相似文献

A differential-pulse voltammetric method is described for the determination of promethazine hydrochloride. The method is based on the anodic oxidation of promethazine on a glassy carbon electrode at + 0.64 V vs. SCE in Prideaux buffer of pH 2.3. The reversibility of the oxidation was tested by cyclic voltammetry; the electrode process is quasi-reversible. From the results of microcoulometric experiments and a study of acid—base equilibria, a mechanism for the electrochemical oxidation is presented. The method is applied to determine promethazine hydrochloride in pharmaceutical formulations. Calibrations are linear over the 0.1–1 and 1–5 mg/50 cm3 ranges.  相似文献

The present work demonstrates that highly ordered porous anodic zirconia (PAZ) arrays with cell diameters ranging from 70 to 120 nm can be grown in fluoride containing glycerol electrolytes. We show that this morphology (in contrast to the typically observed nanotubular layers) can simply be obtained by controlling the water content in the electrolyte during the anodization process. It is proposed that the morphology transition from pores to tubes is based on the rate of preferential etching at the hexagonal cell triple points in the oxide. This finding allows producing void free highly defined nanoporous layers for various applications.  相似文献

Summary An anodic stripping voltammetric method for the determination of zinc in silicates is described and discussed. The method is sensitive and is not affected by interferences resulting from varying sample composition.
Zusammenfassung Ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Zink in Silicaten mit Hilfe der anodischen Amalgamvoltammetrie wird beschrieben und diskutiert. Das Verfahren ist empfindlich und wird durch verschiedenartige Zusammensetzung der Probe nicht beeinflußt.
