Oxidative addition of diorganyl diselenides to the coordinatively unsaturated, low-valent transition-metal-carbonyl fragment [Mn(CO)(5)](-) produced cis-[Mn(CO)(4)(SeR)(2)](-). The complex cis-[PPN][Mn(CO)(4)(SePh)(2)] crystallized in triclinic space group P&onemacr; with a = 10.892(8) ?, b = 10.992(7) ?, c = 27.021(4) ?, alpha = 101.93(4) degrees, beta = 89.79(5) degrees, gamma = 116.94(5) degrees, V = 2807(3) ?(3), and Z = 2; final R = 0.085 and R(w) = 0.094. Thermolytic transformation of cis-[Mn(CO)(4)(SeMe)(2)](-) to [(CO)(3)Mn(&mgr;-SeMe)(3)Mn(CO)(3)](-) was accomplished in high yield in THF at room temperature. Crystal data for [Na-18-crown-6-ether][(CO)(3)Mn(&mgr;-SeMe)(3)Mn(CO)(3)]: trigonal space group R&thremacr;, a = 13.533(3) ?, c = 32.292(8) ?, V = 5122(2) ?(3), Z = 6, R = 0.042, R(w) = 0.041. Oxidation of Co(2+) to Co(3+) by diphenyl diselenide in the presence of chelating metallo ligands cis-[Mn(CO)(4)(SePh)(2)](-) and cis-[Mn(CO)(4)(TePh)(2)](-), followed by a bezenselenolate ligand rearranging to bridge two metals and a labile carbonyl shift from Mn to Co, led directly to [(CO)(4)Mn(&mgr;-TePh)(2)Co(CO)(&mgr;-SePh)(3)Mn(CO)(3)]. Crystal data: triclinic space group P&onemacr;, a = 11.712(3) ?, b = 12.197(3) ?, c = 15.754(3) ?, alpha = 83.56(2) degrees, beta = 76.13(2) degrees, gamma = 72.69(2) degrees, V = 2083.8(7) ?(3), Z = 2, R = 0.040, R(w) = 0.040. Addition of fac-[Fe(CO)(3)(SePh)(3)](-) to fac-[Mn(CO)(3)(CH(3)CN)(3)](+) resulted in formation of (CO)(3)Mn(&mgr;-SePh)(3)Fe(CO)(3). This neutral heterometallic complex crystallized in monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.707(2) ?, b = 17.413(4) ?, c = 17.541(4) ?, beta = 99.72(2) degrees, V = 2621(1) ?(3), and Z = 4; final R = 0.033 and R(w) = 0.030.  相似文献

The reaction of [Cu(acpa)](+) with [MO(4)](2)(-) (Hacpa = N-(1-acetyl-2-propyridene)(2-pyridylmethyl)amine and M = Cr and Mo) in water-methanol or water-acetonitrile solution affords dinuclear copper(II) complexes with metalate bridges, [{Cu(acpa)}(2)(&mgr;-CrO(4))].4CH(3)OH.4H(2)O (1) and [{Cu(acpa)}(2)(&mgr;-MoO(4))].4H(2)O (2), respectively. The crystal structures and the magnetic properties have been studied. Complexes 1 and 2 are isomorphous and the structures are made up of discrete dimers in which two copper(II) ions are bridged by the [MO(4)](2)(-) anion. The coordination geometry about the copper(II) ions is square planar with a N(2)O chelate group from acpa and an oxygen atom from [MO(4)](2)(-). Magnetic susceptibility measurements for 1 revealed that a ferromagnetic interaction between copper(II) ions is propagated through the [CrO(4)](2)(-) bridge and the coupling constant (2J) was evaluated to be 14.6(1) cm(-)(1) (H = -2JS(1).S(2)). In 2, two copper(II) ions bridged by [MoO(4)](2)(-) anion are antiferromagnetically coupled with the 2J value of -5.1(4) cm(-)(1). The ferromagnetic interaction in 1 is explained by means of the orbital topology of frontier orbitals. Crystal data: 1, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/m, a = 8.349(2) ?, b = 17.616(3) ?, c = 10.473 ?, beta = 107.40(2) degrees, Z= 2; 2, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/m, a = 8.486(2) ?, b = 18.043(3) ?, c = 9.753(2) ?, beta = 95.82(2) degrees, Z = 2.  相似文献

The reactions of the binuclear oxomolybdenum(V) complex [Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;-OEt)(2)(&mgr;-HOEt)Mo(O)Cl(2)] (1) with Me(3)Si(allyl) and SbF(3) produce the compounds [Mo(6)O(6)Cl(6)(&mgr;(3)-O)(2)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(6)(&mgr;(2)-Cl)(2)] (2) and [Mo(8)O(8)Cl(6)(&mgr;(3)-O)(4)(OH)(2)(&mgr;(2)-OH)(4)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(4)(HOEt)(4)] (3), respectively. Treatment of 1 with the Lewis base PMe(3) affords the tetrameric complex [Mo(4)O(4)Cl(4)(&mgr;(2)-OEt)(4)(HOEt)(2)(&mgr;(3)-O)(2)] (4), which represents another link in the chain of clusters produced by the reactions of 1 and simulating the build-up of polymeric molybdenum oxides by sol-gel methods. The crystal structure of 4 has been determined [C(12)H(32)Cl(4)Mo(4)O(12), triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 7.376(2) ?, b = 8.807(3) ?, c = 11.467(4) ?, alpha = 109.61(1) degrees, beta = 92.12(3) degrees, gamma = 103.75(2) degrees, Z = 1]. By contrast, reaction of 1 with the nitrogen base NEt(3), followed by treatment with [PPN]Cl.2H(2)O ([PPN](+) = [Ph(3)P=N=PPh(3)](+)), gives the complex [PPN](+)[Et(3)NH](+)[Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;(2)-O)(2)Mo(O)Cl(2)](2)(-) (6) in 90% yield. Its crystal structure [C(36)H(30)Cl(4)MoNOP(2), triclinic, Pna2(1), a = 21.470(6) ?, b = 16.765(2) ?, c = 9.6155(14) ?, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 90 degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, Z = 16] includes the anion [Cl(2)(O)Mo(&mgr;(2)-O)(2)Mo(O)Cl(2)](2)(-), which is a charged derivative of the species forming the gels in sol-gel processes starting from chloromolybdenum ethoxides. Furthermore, compound 1 is found to be catalytically active in esterification and dehydration reactions of alcohols.  相似文献

The Voronoi–Dirichlet polyhedra (VDP) and the method of intersecting spheres were used to perform crystal-chemical analysis of compounds containing complexes [Os a X b ] z(X = F, Cl, Br, I). Atoms of Os(V) at X = F and Cl, of Os(IV) at X = Cl, Br, and of Os(III) at X = Br were found to exhibit a coordination number of 6 with respect to the halogen atoms and to form OsX6octahedra. The coordination polyhedra of Os(III) for X = Cl, I are square pyramids OsX4. Each Os(III) atom forms one Os–Os bond; as a consequence, the OsBr6octahedra share a face in forming Os2Br3– 9complexes, while the OsX4pyramids (X = Cl, I) dimerize to produce [X4Os–OsX4]2–ions. The influence of the valence state of the Os atoms and of the nature of the halogen atoms on the composition and structure of the complexes formed and some characteristics of the coordination sphere of Os were considered.  相似文献

The Voronoi–Dirichlet polyhedra (VDP) and the method of intersecting spheres were used to perform crystal-chemical analysis of 106 compounds containing palladium atoms surrounded by halogen atoms. Depending on the oxidation number (2 or 4), Pd atoms can bind 4 to 6 X atoms (X = Cl, Br, I) and form PdX n coordination polyhedra shaped like octahedra or square pyramids (n = 6), square pyramids (n = 5), or squares (n = 4). A lone electron pair on Pd(II) was found on the basis of X-ray diffraction data. The influence of the palladium valence state on the key stereochemical features of palladium halide complexes is considered in terms of the 18-electron rule. The tendency of palladium atoms to Pd···H aghostic interactions was noted.  相似文献

Two enantiomers of [Bu(4)N](3)[Cu(3)(mnt)(3)] () formed by Na(2)(mnt) (mnt = maleonitriledithiolate, [S(2)C(2)(CN)(2)](2-)) and CuCl in a 1 : 1 molar ratio react further with MCl (M = Cu or Ag) involving both the enantiomers of to produce the larger complex, [Bu(4)N](4)[Cu(6)M(2)(mnt)(6)] (M = Cu (2), Ag (3)) from which the capped Cu(+) or Ag(+) ion can readily be removed by Bu(4)NX (X = Cl, Br), reverting or back to . Such reversal does not work with non-coordinating anions like BF(4)(-), ClO(4)(-) and PF(6)(-).  相似文献

By reaction of [NBu(4)](2)[Pt(2)(&mgr;-C(6)F(5))(2)(C(6)F(5))(4)] with 1,8-naphthyridine (napy), [NBu(4)][Pt(C(6)F(5))(3)(napy)] (1) is obtained. This compound reacts with cis-[Pt(C(6)F(5))(2)(THF)(2)] to give the dinuclear derivative [NBu(4)][Pt(2)(&mgr;-napy)(&mgr;-C(6)F(5))(C(6)F(5))(4)] (2). The reaction of several HX species with 2 results in the substitution of the bridging C(6)F(5) by other ligands (X) such as OH (3), Cl (4), Br (5), I (6), and SPh (7), maintaining in all cases the naphthyridine bridging ligand. The structure of 3 was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 12.022(2) ?, b = 16.677(3) ?, c = 27.154(5) ?, beta = 98.58(3) degrees, V = 5383.2(16) ?(3), and Z = 4. The structure was refined to residuals of R = 0.0488 and R(w) = 0.0547. The complex consists of two square-planar platinum(II) fragments sharing a naphthyridine and OH bridging ligands, which are in cis positions. The short Pt-Pt distance [3.008(1) ?] seems to be a consequence of the bridging ligands.  相似文献

By interaction of MoX(3)(THF)(3) with [Cat]X in THF, the salts [Cat][MoX(4)(THF)(2)] have been synthesized [X = I, Cat = PPh(4), NBu(4), NPr(4), (Ph(3)P)(2)N; X = Br, Cat = NBu(4), PPh(4) (Ph(3)P)(2)N]. Mixed-halide species [MoX(3)Y(THF)(2)](-) (X, Y = Cl, Br, I) have also been generated in solution and investigated by (1)H-NMR. When the tetraiodo, tetrabromo, and mixed bromoiodo salts are dissolved in CH(2)Cl(2), clean loss of all coordinated THF is observed by (1)H-NMR. On the other hand, [MoCl(4)(THF)(2)](-) loses only 1.5 THF/Mo. The salts [Cat](3)[Mo(3)X(12)] (X = Br, I) have been isolated from [Cat][MoX(4)(THF)(2)] or by running the reaction between MoX(3)(THF)(3) and [Cat]X directly in CH(2)Cl(2). The crystal structure of [PPh(4)](3)[Mo(3)I(12)] exhibits a linear face-sharing trioctahedron for the trianion: triclinic, space group P&onemacr;; a = 11.385(2), b = 12.697(3), c = 16.849(2) ?; alpha = 76.65(2), beta = 71.967(12), gamma = 84.56(2) degrees; Z = 1; 431 parameters and 3957 data with I > 2sigma(I). The metal-metal distance is 3.258(2) ?. Structural and magnetic data are consistent with the presence of a metal-metal sigma bond order of (1)/(2) and with the remaining 7 electrons being located in 7 substantially nonbonding orbitals. The ground state of the molecule is predicted to be subject to a Jahn-Teller distortion, which is experimentally apparent from the nature of the thermal ellipsoid of the central Mo atom. The [Mo(3)X(12)](3)(-) ions reacts with phosphines (PMe(3), dppe) to form products of lower nuclearity by rupture of the bridging Mo-X bonds.  相似文献

Mixtures of [Ph(3)PNPPh(3)](+)Cl(-) with CuBr(2) (or CuBr(2)+CuCl(2)) in ethanol/dichloromethane yield crystals containing three-coordinate copper(II) with mixed chloride and bromide ligands, namely [Ph(3)PNPPh(3)](+)[CuCl(0.9)Br(2.1)](-) (1) and [Ph(3)PNPPh(3)](+)[CuCl(2.4)Br(0.6)](-) (2). The trigonal-planar coordination of copper(II) is angularly distorted but unambiguous, as there is no other halide ligand within 6.7 A of the copper atom. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations on planar [CuClBr(2)](-) show that the energy surface for angle bending is very soft. Crystallisation in the presence of CH(3)CN yields [Ph(3)PNPPh(3)](+)[CuCl(0.7)Br(2.3)(NCCH(3))](-) (3), in which there is additional secondary coordination by NCCH(3) (Cu-N 2.44 A). DFT calculations of the potential energy surface for this secondary coordination show that it is remarkably flat (<3 kcal mol(-1) for a variation of Cu-N by 0.8 A). The crystal packing in 1, 2 and 3, which involves multiple phenyl embraces between [Ph(3)PNPPh(3)](+) ions and numerous C-H...Cl and C-H...Br motifs, is associated with intermolecular energies that are larger than the variations in intramolecular energies. For reference, the crystal structures of [Ph(3)PNPPh(3)(+)](2)[Cu(2)Cl(6)](2-) (4) and [Ph(3)PNPPh(3)(+)](2)[Cu(2)Br(6)](2-) (5) are described. We conclude 1) that three-coordinate copper(II) with monatomic halide ligands, although uncommon, can be regarded as normal, 2) that steric control by ligands is not necessary to enforce three-coordination, 3) that a hydrophobic aryl environment stabilises [Cu(Cl/Br)(3)](-), and 4) that the energy change in the transition from three- to four-coordinate copper(II) is very small (ca 5 kcal mol(-1)).  相似文献

The reactions of the unsymmetrical, coordinatively unsaturated dirhenium(II) complexes [Re(2)Br(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(CNXyl)]Y (XylNC = 2,6-dimethylphenyl isocyanide; Y = O(3)SCF(3) (3a), PF(6) (3b)) with XylNC afford at least three isomeric forms of the complex cation [Re(2)Br(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(CNXyl)(2)](+). Two forms have very similar bis(&mgr;-halo)-bridged edge-sharing bioctahedral structures of the type [(CO)BrRe(&mgr;-Br)(2)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)Re(CNXyl)(2)]Y (Y = O(3)SCF(3) (4a/4a'), PF(6) (4b/4b')), while the third is an open bioctahedron [(XylNC)(2)BrRe(&mgr;-dppm)(2)ReBr(2)(CO)]Y (Y = O(3)SCF(3) (5a), PF(6) (5b)). While the analogous chloro complex cation [Re(2)Cl(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(CNXyl)(2)](+) was previously shown to exist in three isomeric forms, only one of these has been found to be structurally similar to the bromo complexes (i.e. the isomer analogous to 5a and 5b). The reaction of 3a with CO gives the salt [Re(2)Br(3)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)(CO)(2)(CNXyl)]O(3)SCF(3) (7), in which the edge-sharing bioctahedral cation [(XylNC)BrRe(&mgr;-Br)(&mgr;-CO)(&mgr;-dppm)(2)ReBr(CO)](+) has an all-cis arrangement of pi-acceptor ligands. The Re-Re distances in the structures of 4b', 5a, and 7 are 3.0456(8), 2.3792(7), and 2.5853(13) ?, respectively, and accord with formal Re-Re bond orders of 1, 3, and 2, respectively. The new isomeric ruthenium/zirconium dihydrides of the formula (PPh(3))HRuH(&mgr;-PMe(2)Cp)(2)ClZrCl (1, 2) (Cp = C(5)Me(4)) have been characterized by elemental analysis and NMR ((1)H, (31)P and (1)H relaxation data). Complex 1, stabilized by Cl and H bridges, has been isolated from the room temperature reaction between RuH(2)(H(2))(PPh(3))(3) and (PMe(2)Cp)(2)ZrCl(2). The X-ray crystallographic study of 1 revealed a bimetallic complex. The six-coordinate Ru atom and the five-coordinate Zr atom are held together by two bifunctional phosphinocyclopentadienyl ligands and by H and Cl bridges. Crystal data for 1: monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, a = 13.901(2) ?, b = 18.205(6) ?, c = 16.633(3) ?, beta = 92.43(1) degrees, V = 4206 ?(3), Z = 4, d(calc) = 1.472 g cm(-)(3), R(F) = 0.056, R(w)(F) = 0.058. Complex 2 with two H bridges and terminal Cl ligands at Ru and Zr has been obtained by an irreversible isomerization of 1 in the presence of HNEt(3)BPh(4). This transformation has been proposed to occur through slow protonation of one of the phosphorus ligands with the five-coordinate Ru center formed by undergoing rapid pseudorotation. Complexes 1 and 2 do not react with H(2), N(2), or 3,3-dimethyl-but-1-ene. Treatment of 1 with 1 equiv of NaHBEt(3) in C(6)D(6) gives a mixture of new trihydrides (PPh(3))HRu(&mgr;-Cl)(&mgr;-H)(&mgr;-PMe(2)Cp)(2)ZrH (3) and (PPh(3))HRu(&mgr;-H)(2)(&mgr;-PMe(2)Cp)(2)ZrCl (4). Complex 3 transforms to 4 upon standing in solution for a period of several days. Under the same conditions, complex 2 leads smoothly to trihydride 4. Both trihydrides are new and have been characterized by (1)H, (31)P NMR, and (1)H NMR relaxation data. Complexes 1 and 4 are fluxional in solution at room temperature, showing hydride exchange between the terminal and bridging positions. The variable-temperature (1)H NMR spectra allowed determinations of the DeltaG() values of 16.4 (313 K, THF-d(8)) and 13.5 kcal/mol (295 K, toluene-d(8)) for the exchange in complexes 1 and 4, respectively. Possible exchange mechanisms have been discussed. Complex 2 is rigid on the NMR time scale.  相似文献

Open sheet and framework structures [CuX{cyclo-(MeAsO)4}] (X=Cl, Br, I) 1 – 3 and [Cu3X3{cyclo-(MeAsO)4}2] (X=Cl, Br) 4 and 5 may be prepared by self-assembly from CuX and methylcycloarsoxane (MeAsO)n in acetonitrile solution. 1 – 3 exhibit 44 nets in which (CuX)2 units are connected through μ-1 KAs1 : 2 KAs3 coordinated (MeAsO)4 ligands into large 28-membered rings. In contrast, adjacent [CuX] chains in 4 and 5 are connected into sheets by μ4-K4 As coordinated (MeAsO)4 building blocks, with μ-1 KAs1 : 2 KAs3 bridging of these layers by independent (MeAsO)4 cyclotetramers leading to the generation of a porous framework structure. 1 – 5 were characterised by X-ray structural analysis.  相似文献

The disordered crystal structures of three halogenated propionamides of the general formula CF3CFXCONH2, X = Cl (I), Br (II), and I (III), were studied by X-ray diffraction (CAD-4 automatic diffractometer, MoK ). All these structures are monoclinic with space group P2 1/c . The structures were solved by direct methods and refined by the full-matrix least-squares procedure anisotropically for nonhydrogen atoms. It was established that structures II and III is isomorphic to each other, whereas structure I is not isomorphic to them, although it has a similar molecular packing. The same crystallographic position is statistically (with different probabilities) occupied by two identical molecules (I, II, or III) with different configurations, which may be regarded as one disordered molecule where two substituents at the C2 atom (halogen X atom and CF3 group) are mutually statistically interchangeable in the space of the unit cell. The amide fragment (–CONH2) of these disordered molecules is practically ordered. The crystal structures of I, II, and III have a developed system of intermolecular H-bonds of N–H O type and unusual intramolecular H-bonds of N–H F–C type.  相似文献

Voronoi–Dirichlet polyhedra (VDP) and the method of intersecting spheres were used to perform crystal-chemical analyses of compounds containing complexes [Rh a X n ] z (X = F, Cl, Br). It was found that, irrespective of oxidation number (+3, +4, or +5), rhodium atoms always exhibit the coordination number 6 with respect to the halogen atoms and have octahedral coordination. The influence of site symmetry and the valence state of Rh on the distortion of RhX6 octahedra are considered. The electronic configuration of the Rh atoms is shown to influence the symmetry of their valence-force field within the crystal structure.  相似文献
