Let Λ be a finite dimensional k-algebra over an algebraically closed field k and let ΛT be a splitting tilting module of projective dimension at most 1. Let Γ=EndΛT. Let Λ be a commutative local uniserial ring with radical factor field k. We consider the category S(Λ) of embeddings of all possible submodules of finitely generated Λ-modules. In case Λ=Z/〈pn〉, where p is a prime, the problem of classifying the objects in S(Λ), up to isomorphism, has been posed by Garrett Birkhoff in 1934. In this paper we assume that Λ has Loewy length at least seven. We show that S(Λ) is controlled k-wild with a single control object IS(Λ). It follows that each finite dimensional k-algebra can be realized as a quotient End(X)/End(X)I of the endomorphism ring of some object XS(Λ) modulo the ideal End(X)I of all maps which factor through a finite direct sum of copies of I.  相似文献

Let Λ be a left Artinian ring, D+(mod Λ) (resp., D(mod Λ), D(mod Λ)) the derived category of bounded below complexes (resp., bounded above complexes, unbounded complexes) of finitely generated left Λ-modules. Let Λ be an artin algebra and X a finitely generated Λ-module. Iyama has shown that there exists a module Y such that the endomorphism ring Γ of XY is quasi-hereditary, with a heredity chain of length n, and that the global dimension of Γ is bounded by this n. In general, one only knows that a quasi-hereditary algebra with a heredity chain of length n must have global dimension at most 2n−2. We want to show that Iyama’s better bound is related to the fact that the ring Γ he constructs is not only quasi-hereditary, but even left strongly quasi-hereditary. By definition, the left strongly quasi-hereditary algebras are the quasi-hereditary algebras with all standard left modules of projective dimension at most 1.  相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to prove the following result. Let R be a prime ring of characteristic different from two and let T : RR be an additive mapping satisfying the relation T(x 3) = T(x)x 2xT(x)x + x 2 T(x) for all xR. In this case T is of the form 4T(x) = qx + xq, where q is some fixed element from the symmetric Martindale ring of quotients. This result makes it possible to solve some functional equations in prime rings with involution which are related to bicircular projections.  相似文献

For each j, j=1,…,ln−1, there exists an inclusion of Larson orders in KCl: Λj−1⊆Λj and a corresponding surjection of Hopf-Swan subgroups T(Λj−1)→T(Λj). Let k be a field and let Λ be an indecomposable finite dimensional k-algebra such that there is a stable equivalence of Morita type between Λ and a self-injective split basic Nakayama algebra over k. We show that every indecomposable finitely generated Λ-module V has a universal deformation ring R(Λ,V) and we describe R(Λ,V) explicitly as a quotient ring of a power series ring over k in finitely many variables. This result applies in particular to Brauer tree algebras, and hence to p-modular blocks of finite groups with cyclic defect groups.  相似文献

Let X be a real reflexive Banach space with dual X. Let L:XD(L)→X be densely defined, linear and maximal monotone. Let T:XD(T)→X2, with 0∈D(T) and 0∈T(0), be strongly quasibounded and maximal monotone, and C:XD(C)→X bounded, demicontinuous and of type (S+) w.r.t. D(L). A new topological degree theory has been developed for the sum L+T+C. This degree theory is an extension of the Berkovits-Mustonen theory (for T=0) and an improvement of the work of Addou and Mermri (for T:XX2 bounded). Let p be an unramified prime in a totally real field L such that h+(L)=1. Our main result shows that Hilbert modular newforms of parallel weight two for Γ0(p) can be constructed naturally, via classical theta series, from modules of isogenies of superspecial abelian varieties with real multiplication on a Hilbert moduli space. Let X be an infinite dimensional real reflexive Banach space with dual space X and GX, open and bounded. Assume that X and X are locally uniformly convex. Let T:XD(T)→2X be maximal monotone and strongly quasibounded, S:XD(S)→X maximal monotone, and C:XD(C)→X strongly quasibounded w.r.t. S and such that it satisfies a generalized (S+)-condition w.r.t. S. Assume that D(S)=LD(T)∩D(C), where L is a dense subspace of X, and 0∈T(0),S(0)=0. A new topological degree theory is introduced for the sum T+S+C, with degree mapping d(T+S+C,G,0). The reason for this development is the creation of a useful tool for the study of a class of time-dependent problems involving three operators. This degree theory is based on a degree theory that was recently developed by Kartsatos and Skrypnik just for the single-valued sum S+C, as above.  相似文献
