LiSn2P3O12 with sodium (Na) super ionic conductor (NASICON)-type rhombohedral structure was successfully obtained at low sintering temperature, 600 °C via citric acid-assisted sol-gel method. However, when the sintering temperature increased to 650 °C, triclinic structure coexisted with the rhombohedral structure as confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. Conductivity–temperature dependence of all samples were studied using impedance spectroscopy in the temperature range 30 to 500 °C, and bulk, grain boundary and total conductivity increased as the temperature increased. The highest bulk conductivity found was 3.64?×?10?5 S/cm at 500 °C for LiSn2P3O12 sample sintered at 650 °C, and the lowest bulk activation energy at low temperature was 0.008 eV, showing that sintering temperature affect the conductivity value. The voltage stability window for LiSn2P3O12 sample sintered at 600 °C at ambient temperature was up to 4.4 V. These results indicated the suitability of the LiSn2P3O12 to be exploiting further for potential applications as solid electrolytes in electrochemical devices.  相似文献

In order to study the influence of powder calcination temperature on lithium ion conductivity, synthesized Li1.3Ti1.7Al0.3(PO4)3 (LATP) was calcined at temperatures between 750 and 900 °C. The shape and size of the particles were characterized employing scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and specific surface area of the obtained powder was measured. The crystallinity grade of different heat-treated powders was calculated from XRD spectra. Posteriorly, all powders were sintered at 1100 °C employing field-assisted sintering (SPS), and the electrical properties were correlated to the calcination conditions. The highest ionic conductivity was observed for samples made out of powders calcined at 900 °C.  相似文献

Polycrystalline diamond was investigated under high pressure and high temperature of 5.0 GPa and 1100–1500 °C in the presence of tungsten. In situ resistance measurements indicated that reactions between diamond and tungsten happened at about 960 °C. Phase analysis demonstrated that WC increased and meta-stability of W2C decreased clearly at the higher temperature. It is clear from the characterization of the sintered body that the electrical resistance decreased and the density of specimens increased as the sintering temperature rose. The specimen sintered at 1500 °C has a homogeneous microstructure and good conductivity.  相似文献

Li1,3Ti0,7Al0,3(PO4)3 (LATP) powder was obtained by a conventional melt-quenching method and consolidated by field-assisted sintering technology (FAST) at different temperatures. Using this technique, the samples could be sintered to relative densities in the range of 93 to 99 % depending on the sintering conditions. Ionic and thermal conductivity were measured and the results are discussed under consideration of XRD and SEM analyses. Thermal conductivity values of 2 W/mK and ionic conductivities of 4?×?10?4 Scm?1 at room temperature were obtained using relatively large particles and a sintering temperature of 1000 °C at an applied uniaxial pressure of 50 MPa.  相似文献

Ultrafine-structure La0.65Sr0.35MnO3 (LSM) powders synthesized by self-propagating combustion method have been used to fabricate sensing electrodes (SEs) for NO2 mixed-potential sensors based on yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ). This type of sensor was found to provide better NO2 sensitivity at 500 °C than sensors with LSM powders synthesized by traditional solid-state methods. The response values of the sensor have good linear relationship (sensitivity 36.6 mV/decade and linear fit 0.99) with the logarithm of NO2 concentration varying from 30 to 500 ppm. The influence of sintering temperature (1000, 1100, 1200, and 1300 °C) on sensor response was also examined and was found to have a significant effect on the morphology of LSM-SEs. Moreover, in the presence of NO, CO2, CO, and NO2, the sensor exhibited good NO2 selectivity.  相似文献

Nickel anodes were deposited on hollow fibre yttria-stabilised zirconia (YSZ) electrolyte substrates for use in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). The hollow fibres are characterised by porous external and internal surfaces supported by a central gas-tight layer (300 μm total wall thickness and 1.6 mm external diameter). The YSZ hollow fibres were prepared by a phase inversion technique followed by high temperature sintering in the range 1200 to 1400 °C. Ni anodes were deposited on the internal surface by electroless plating involving an initial catalyst deposition step with PdCl2 followed by Ni plating (with a NiSO4, NaH2PO2 and sodium succinate based solution at 70 °C). Fabrication and nickel deposition parameters (nature of solvents, air gap, temperature, electroless bath composition) and heat treatments in oxidising/reducing environments were investigated in order to improve anode and electrolyte microstructure and fuel cell performance. A parallel study of the effect of YSZ sintering temperature, which influences electrolyte porosity, on electrolyte/anode microstructure was performed on mainly dense discs (2.3 mm thick and 15 mm diameter). Complete cells were tested with both disc and hollow fibre design after a La0.2Sr0.8Co0.8Fe0.2O3?δ (LSCF) cathode was deposited by slurry coating and co-fired at 1200 °C. Anodes prepared by Ni electroless plating on YSZ electrolytes (discs and hollow fibres) sintered at lower temperature (1000–1200 °C) benefited from a greater Ni penetration compared to electrolytes sintered at 1400 °C. Further increases in anode porosity and performance were achieved by anode oxidation in air at 1200–1400 °C, followed by reduction in H2 at 800 °C.  相似文献

La0.5Sr0.5CoO3-yttria-stabilized zirconia (LSCO-YSZ) composite cathode for solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) has been fabricated by wet impregnation method. Nitrate precursors of La, Sr, and Co have been impregnated into the pre-sintered porous YSZ matrix, which is converted into LSCO phase after calcination at 850 °C in the presence of glycine as confirmed from X-ray diffraction. LSCO of 5, 7, and 10 wt% impregnated porous YSZ have been electrochemically characterized using 2-probe AC conductivity method. Maximum ionic conductivity of 0.27 S/cm at 800 °C and activation energy of 0.15 eV between 600 and 800 °C have been observed for 10 wt% LSCO-YSZ cathode. Area-specific resistance of 1.01 Ω cm2 at 800 °C is estimated for the electrolyte-supported half-cell (10 wt% LSCO-YSZ/YSZ). After testing the LSCO-YSZ cathode matrix, the electrolyte-supported full cell (10 wt% LSCO-YSZ/YSZ/NiO-YSZ) has been tested and produced maximum power density 51.12 mW/cm2 (109.38 mA/cm2) at 800 °C. The electrolyte-supported full cell exhibited 6 Ω cm2 electrode polarization at 800 °C in H2, which is in higher side leading to low performance. LSCO-YSZ/YSZ/NiO-YSZ SOFC found to give stable performance up to 2 h and scanning electron microscopy analysis has been carried out before and after cell testing to assess the morphological changes.  相似文献

Cubic BN Sintered with A1 under High Temperature and High Pressure   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1       下载免费PDF全文
Sintering of cubic boron nitride (cBN) with addition of A1 is carried out in the temperature range 1300-1500℃ and under the pressure 5.5 GPa. When sintered at 1300℃, a weak diffractive peak of hexagonal BN (hBN) is observed in the Al-cBN sample, indicating the transformation from cBN to hBN. No nitrides or borides of A1 are observed, which indicated that A1 does not react with cBN obviously. When the sintering temperature is increased to 1400℃, the diffractive peak of hBN disappears and new phases of A1N and A1B2 are observed, due to reactions between A1 and cBN. When the sintering temperature is further increased to 1500℃, the contents of A1N and A1B2 phases increase and the A1 phase disappears completely.  相似文献

Ni sintering at high temperature (~ 800 °C) operation drastically degrades the performance of Ni-yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) anode in solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC). Mixed ionic and electronic conductive oxides such as CeO2 and Nb2O5 enhance the dispersion of Ni, CeO2 enhances the redox behavior and promotes charge transfer reactions, and Nb2O5 increases the triple phase boundary. In the present work, anode-supported SOFC is fabricated and tested in H2 fuel at 800 °C. YSZ and lanthanum strontium manganite (LSM)-YSZ are used as the electrolyte and composite cathode with NiO-YSZ, CeO2-NiO-YSZ, and Nb2O5-NiO-YSZ as an anode. The peak power density obtained for the cell with 10% CeO2–30% NiO-YSZ anode at the 5 and 25 h of operation is 330 and 290 mW cm?2 which is higher than that for 40% NiO-YSZ anode (275 mW cm?2 at 5 h). The peak power density obtained for the cell with 10% Nb2O5–30% NiO-YSZ anode at the 5 and 25 h of operation is 301 and 285 mW cm?2 which is higher than that for 40% NiO-YSZ anode (275 mW cm?2 at 5 h). Physical characterization has been carried to study morphology, elemental analysis, particle size, and phase formation of the fabricated anode before and after cell operation to correlate the cell performance.  相似文献

The effect of the sintering temperature of Ce3+-doped Lu3Al5O12 (Ce-LuAG) phosphors on the emission and properties of the crystal structure was studied. A cathodoluminescence peak at 317 nm, which was assigned to lattice defects, was exhibited in addition to emission peaks at 508 and 540 nm for the Ce-LuAG phosphors. The intensities of the 317 nm emission peak for the phosphors with mean particle diameters of 5.0 and 10.0 µm formed at a low sintering temperature of 1430 °C were higher than those for the phosphors with mean particle diameters of 18.0 and 20.5 µm formed at a high sintering temperature of 1550 °C. In contrast, the electroluminescence spectra for fabricated white-light-emitting diodes (LEDs) using the phosphors revealed that the intensity of the peak at 540 nm was strong for the mean particle diameters of 18.0 and 20.5 µm. The intensity of the 540 nm peak, which is attributed to the 4f→5d transition of the Ce3+ activator, showed a dependence on the sintering temperature. The relationship between the optical properties and the lattice defects is discussed.  相似文献

Solid electrolyte Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 was prepared by sol-gel method under different sintering conditions. The structural identification, surface morphology, electrochemical window, ionic conductivity, and activation energy of the Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 sintered pellets were investigated by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. It is found that the sintering temperature and time have considerable effect on the properties of the Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 sintered pellets. The Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 pellet sintered at 900 °C for 2 h is denser than the pellets sintered at other conditions. Different sintering conditions result in the sintered pellet with different porosity. However, the sintering conditions have little effect on the electrochemical window of Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3. Among the Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 pellets sintered at various conditions, the pellet sintered at 900 °C for 2 h shows the highest ionic conductivity of 3.46 × 10−4 S cm−1 and the lowest activation energy of 0.2821 eV.  相似文献

Fast oxide-ion conductors La2Mo2-xWxO9 (x = 0–1) have been prepared using mechanochemical activation (MA) of starting oxides in a high-power planetary ball mill. Studies of La2Mo2-xWxO9 genesis and structural properties using thermal analysis, XRD, SEM, IR, and Raman spectroscopy have revealed that MA results in the formation of an amorphous precursor, while the cubic β-phase is formed after calcination at 700–900 °C. Due to a high dispersion of powders, high-density pellets of W-LAMOX ceramics have been obtained already after sintering at 950 °C. Their electrical conductivity measured by the impedance spectroscopy depends on the W concentration being sufficiently high (up to 5.6?10?3 S/cm at 630 °C) at temperatures below 650 °C.  相似文献

Al-Mo codoped Li7La3Zr2O12 ceramics with fine grain were prepared by sol-gel method. The influences of Al-Mo codoping on the structure, microstructure, and conductivity of Li7La3Zr2O12 were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and impedance spectroscopy. The cubic phase Li7La3Zr2O12 has been stabilized by partial substitution of Al for Li and Mo for Zr. Li6.6-3yAlyLa3Zr1.8Mo0.2O12 (0?≤?y?≤?0.1) has been sintered at 1040–1060 °C for 3 h. The liquid sintering facilitated its densification. The relative density of the composition with x?=?0.075 was approximately 96.4%. Results indicated that the Al-Mo codoped LLZO synthesized by sol-gel method effectively lowered its sintering temperature, accelerated densification, and improved the ionic conductivity.  相似文献

Fine-sized BaO-ZnO-B2O3-SiO2 (BZBS) glass powders were directly prepared by high temperature spray pyrolysis. The hollow glass powders prepared at low preparation temperature of 1000 °C had a low density of 2.65 g/cm3. However, the densities of the BZBS powders obtained at preparation temperatures of 1200 and 1400 °C were each 3.92 and 4.13 g/cm3. The mean size of the BZBS glass powders prepared by spray pyrolysis at preparation temperature of 1400 °C was 0.98 μm. The glass transition temperature (Tg) of the prepared BZBS glass powders was 518.9 °C. The dielectric layers formed from the prepared BZBS glass powders with a dense structure had a clean surface and a dense inner structure without voids at the firing temperature of 580 °C. The transparencies of the dielectric layers formed from the prepared BZBS glass powders were higher than 90% within the visible range. PACS 42.70.Ce; 85.60.Pg; 71.55.Jv  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the magnetic properties and the magnetoimpedance effect of soft magnetic nanocrystalline Fe73.5Si16.5B6Nb3Cu1 alloy ribbons are studied in the temperature range 24–160°C. A high temperature sensitivity of the impedance and the magnetoimpedance effect of the ribbons are detected in the ac frequency range 0.1–50 MHz. At an ac frequency of 50 MHz, the change in the impedance reaches 0.2 Ω/°C (0.5%/°C) in the temperature range 85–160°C. When the temperature increases, a monotonically decreasing character of the dependence of the magnetoimpedance effect on the applied magnetic field changes into a dependence having an increasing initial segment. The effect of temperature on the magnetoimpedance properties of the soft magnetic nanocrystalline ribbons is shown to result from temperature-induced changes in their electrical conductivity, magnetization, and effective magnetic anisotropy.  相似文献

Yttria–zirconia doped ceria, 10% ZrO2–10% Y2O3–CeO2 (mol%) (CZY) and 0.5 mol% alumina-doped CZY (CZYA), prepared through oxide mixture process, were sintered by isothermal sintering (IS) and two-step sintering (TSS) having as variable the temperature and soaking time. The electrical conductivity of sintered samples was investigated in the 250 to 600 °C temperature range by impedance spectroscopy in air atmosphere. The microstructure was analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Alumina, as additive, improves the grain boundary conductivity of samples sintered at temperatures lower than 1500 °C. Concerning the sintering mode, two-step sintering (TSS) proved to be a good procedure to obtain CZYA samples with high electrical conductivity and density (> 95%) at relatively low sintering temperature and long soaking time.  相似文献

In this work, lead-free Ba0.85Ca0.075Sr0.075Ti0.90Zr0.10O3 (BCSZT) ceramics were fabricated by conventional solid-state reaction route. The effect of sintering temperature on electrocaloric properties of BCSZT ceramics was studied in detail. Samples were sintered at different temperatures (1400–1500?°C) and dwell time (3–6 h). An enhanced electrocaloric behavior is demonstrated for BCSTZ ceramics at 1475?°C/4 h. Electrocaloric cooling of ~1.5 ± 0.1 K was found for BCSZT sample. This cooling was found in wide temperature range of 303–363 K. Further, the selected composition was observed to be among the better performing materials reported for electrocaloric refrigeration.  相似文献

This work focuses on the structure property co-relation study of Eu3+-doped ceria nanomaterials prepared through citrate auto-ignition process and sintered at three different temperatures. The microstructure and dielectric properties were found to be affected by the sintering temperature. The particle size was found to play a major role to the migration of charge carriers in the samples. The dielectric constant has been found to control the formation of dopant-vacancy interaction though columbic interaction in defect pair (Eu′Ce – Vo ??)? and neutral trimers (Eu′Ce – Vo ?? – Eu′Ce). The sample sintered at 800 °C shows the lowest value of lattice parameter due to the highest value of dopant-vacancy interaction. The migration energy for oxygen vacancy conduction was found to increase with particle size that reduces the ionic conductivity values. The rate of hopping was found to decrease due to blocking of charge-carrier diffusion due to the growth of particle.  相似文献

The objective of the present study was to investigate the effects of sintering temperature on the structure and electrochemical performance of Mg2SiO4 cathode materials using sol-gel method. X-ray diffraction and Fourier-transform infrared analysis were used to study the structural properties of the materials. The temperatures applied in the sintering process influenced the structure, morphology, as well as particle size distribution of the Mg2SiO4. All samples sintered at temperatures of 900, 1000, and 1100 °C yielded pure Mg2SiO4 compounds consisting of orthorhombic crystalline phase with a space group of Pbnm. Particle size and lattice parameters of Mg2SiO4 samples increased with the increases of sintering temperature due to an increase of the nucleation and crystal growth rates. The cyclic voltammetry analysis showed the presence of redox reaction. This result shows that the Mg2SiO4 material has potential to be used as cathode materials in magnesium rechargeable batteries.  相似文献

The nanocrystalline La0.8Sr0.2MnO3 (LSM) is prepared by varying the revolutions per minute and milling time of planetary monomill during the mechanochemical method. The LSM forms in a relatively shorter milling time with an increase in the milling speed from 250 to 600 rpm. The structural phase transition from orthorhombic to rhombohedral phase in the LSM prepared by ball milling at the speed 250 rpm for 36 h is seen due to sintering it at 700 °C for 4 h. The crystallite size reduces with the increase in both the milling speed and the milling time individually or combined. The microhardness (HV) and sintered density increase with the reduction in the crystallite size. The temperature-activated transition temperature is suppressed by reducing the grain size in the nanometer range. The electrical dc conductivity increases with the reduction in the grain/crystallite size.  相似文献
