Abstract

In this paper, new numerical algorithms are introduced for finding the solution of a variational inequality problem whose constraint set is the common elements of the set of fixed points of a demicontractive mapping and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem for a monotone mapping in a real Hilbert space. The strong convergence of the iterates generated by these algorithms is obtained by combining a viscosity approximation method with an extragradient method. First, this is done when the basic iteration comes directly from the extragradient method, under a Lipschitz-type condition on the equilibrium function. Then, it is shown that this rather strong condition can be omitted when an Armijo-backtracking linesearch is incorporated into the extragradient iteration. The particular case of variational inequality problems is also examined.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme based on the extragradient approximation method for finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings, the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem, and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for a monotone L-Lipschitz continuous mapping in a real Hilbert space. Then, the strong convergence theorem is proved under some parameters controlling conditions. Applications to optimization problems are given. The results obtained in this paper improve and extend the recent ones announced by Wangkeeree [R. Wangkeeree, An extragradient approximation method for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings, Fixed Point Theory and Applications (2008) 17. doi:10.1155/2008/134148. In this paper, using a hybrid extragradient method, we introduce a new iterative process for approximating a common element of the set of solutions of equilibrium problems involving pseudomonotone bifunctions and the set of common fixed points of a finite family of multi-valued Bregman relatively nonexpansive mappings in the setting of reflexive Banach spaces. For this purpose, we introduce Bregman–Lipschitz-type condition for a pseudomonotone bifunction. It seems that these results for pseudomonotone bifunctions are first in reflexive Banach spaces. This paper concludes with certain applications, where we utilize our results to study the determination of a common point of the solution set of a variational inequality problem and the fixed point set of a finite family of multi-valued relatively nonexpansive mappings. A numerical example to support our main theorem will be exhibited.  相似文献

In this paper, a quasi-equilibrium problem with a nonmonotone bifunction is considered in a finite-dimensional space. The primary difficulty with this problem is related to the fact that one must simultaneously solve a nonmonotone equilibrium problem and calculate a fixed point of a multivalued mapping. An extragradient-type method is presented and analysed for its solution. The convergence of the method is proved under the assumption that the solution set of an associated dual equilibrium problem is nonempty. Finally, some numerical experiments are reported.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove both weak and strong convergence theorems for finding a common element of the solution set for a generalized equilibrium problem, the fixed point set of an asymptotically k-strict pseudo-contraction mapping in the intermediate sense, and the solution set of the variational inequality for a monotone and Lipschitz-continuous mapping by using a new hybrid extragradient method. Our results generalize and improve related results in the literatures.  相似文献

In this paper, using sunny generalized nonexpansive retractions which are different from the metric projection and generalized metric projection in Banach spaces, we present new extragradient and line search algorithms for finding the solution of a J-variational inequality whose constraint set is the common elements of the set of fixed points of a family of generalized nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of a pseudomonotone J-equilibrium problem for a J -α-inverse-strongly monotone operator in a Banach space. To prove strong convergence of generated iterates in the extragradient method, we introduce a ? ?-Lipschitz-type condition and assume that the equilibrium bifunction satisfies this condition. This condition is unnecessary when the line search method is used instead of the extragradient method. Using FMINCON optimization toolbox in MATLAB, we give some numerical examples and compare them with several existence results in literature to illustrate the usability of our results.  相似文献

We consider the problem of finding a fixed point of a nonexpansive mapping, which is also a solution of a pseudo-monotone equilibrium problem, where the bifunction in the equilibrium problem is the sum of two ones. We propose a splitting algorithm combining the gradient method for equilibrium problem and the Mann iteration scheme for fixed points of nonexpansive mappings. At each iteration of the algorithm, two strongly convex subprograms are required to solve separately, one for each of the component bifunctions. Our main result states that, under paramonotonicity property of the given bifunction, the algorithm converges to a solution without any Lipschitz-type condition as well as Hölder continuity of the bifunctions involved.  相似文献

Very recently, Takahashi and Takahashi [S. Takahashi, W. Takahashi, Strong convergence theorem for a generalized equilibrium problem and a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space, Nonlinear Anal. 69 (2008) 1025–1033] suggested and analyzed an iterative method for finding a common solution of a generalized equilibrium problem and a fixed point problem of a nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space. In this paper, based on Takahashi–Takahashi’s iterative method and well-known extragradient method we introduce a relaxed extragradient-like method for finding a common solution of a generalized mixed equilibrium problem, a general system of generalized equilibria and a fixed point problem of a strictly pseudocontractive mapping in a Hilbert space and then obtain a strong convergence theorem. Utilizing this theorem, we establish some new strong convergence results in fixed point problems, variational inequalities, mixed equilibrium problems and systems of generalized equilibria.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose an extragradient algorithm for solving equilibrium problems on Hadamard manifolds to the case where the equilibrium bifunction is not necessarily pseudomonotone. Under mild assumptions, we establish global convergence results. We show that the multiobjective optimization problem satisfies all the hypotheses of our result of convergence, when formulated as an equilibrium problem.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we propose new subgradient extragradient methods for finding a solution of a strongly monotone equilibrium problem over the solution set of another monotone equilibrium problem which usually is called monotone bilevel equilibrium problem in Hilbert spaces. The first proposed algorithm is based on the subgradient extragradient method presented by Censor et al. [Censor Y, Gibali A, Reich S. The subgradient extragradient method for solving variational inequalities in Hilbert space. J Optim Theory Appl. 2011;148:318–335]. The strong convergence of the algorithm is established under monotone assumptions of the cost bifunctions with Lipschitz-type continuous conditions recently presented by Mastroeni in the auxiliary problem principle. We also present a modification of the algorithm for solving an equilibrium problem, where the constraint domain is the common solution set of another equilibrium problem and a fixed point problem. Several fundamental experiments are provided to illustrate the numerical behaviour of the algorithms and to compare with others.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a hybrid extragradient iterative method for finding the approximate element of the common set of solutions of a generalized equilibrium problem, a system of variational inequality problems, a variational inequality problem and a fixed point problem for a strictly pseudocontractive mapping in a real Hilbert space. Further we establish a strong convergence theorem based on this method. The results presented in this paper improves and generalizes the results given in Yao et al. [36] and Ceng et al. [7], and some known corresponding results in the literature.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to consider a new hybrid relaxed extragradient method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a generalized equilibrium problem, the set of fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of variational inequalities for an inverse-strongly monotone mapping in Hilbert spaces. Then, we prove a strong convergence theorem of the iterative sequence generated by the proposed iterative algorithm under some suitable conditions. Our results extend and improve the recent results of Cai and Hu [G. Cai, C.S. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the problem of finding the common element of the set of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings, the set of an equilibrium problem and the set of solutions of the variational inequality prob- lem for a relaxed cocoercive and Lipschitz continuous mapping in Hilbert spaces. Then, we show that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of the above three sets under some parameter controlling conditions, which are connected with Yao, Liou, Yao[17], Takahashi[12] and many others.  相似文献

The subgradient extragradient method can be considered as an improvement of the extragradient method for variational inequality problems for the class of monotone and Lipschitz continuous mappings. In this paper, we propose two new algorithms as combination between the subgradient extragradient method and Mann-like method for finding a common element of the solution set of a variational inequality and the fixed point set of a demicontractive mapping.  相似文献

We consider the vector equilibrium problem, which extends the scalar equilibrium problem to vector valued bifunctions, in a Banach space setting. We propose an extragradient method for solving this problem. Under suitable assumptions on the bifunction, we prove that the generated sequence is weakly convergent to a solution of the problem. Then, we propose a regularization procedure which ensures strong convergence of the generated sequence to a solution of the problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new iterative process for finding the common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping, the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the solutions of the variational inequality problem for two inverse-strongly monotone mappings. We introduce a new viscosity relaxed extragradient approximation method which is based on the so-called relaxed extragradient method and the viscosity approximation method. We show that the sequence converges strongly to a common element of the above three sets under some parametric controlling conditions. Moreover, using the above theorem, we can apply to finding solutions of a general system of variational inequality and a zero of a maximal monotone operator in a real Hilbert space. In this paper, a new iterative scheme based on the extragradient method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem, the set of fixed points of a family of finitely nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for a monotone, Lipschitz continuous mapping is proposed. A strong convergence theorem for this iterative scheme in Hilbert spaces is established. Applications to optimization problems are given.  相似文献

This paper presents a framework of iterative methods for finding a common solution to an equilibrium problem and a countable number of fixed point problems defined in a Hilbert space. A general strong convergence theorem is established under mild conditions. Two hybrid methods are derived from the proposed framework in coupling the fixed point iterations with the iterations of the proximal point method or the extragradient method, which are well-known methods for solving equilibrium problems. The strategy is to obtain the strong convergence from the weak convergence of the iterates without additional assumptions on the problem data. To achieve this aim, the solution set of the problem is outer approximated by a sequence of polyhedral subsets.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce an iterative algorithm for finding a common element of the fixed point set of an asymptotically strict pseudocontractive mapping S in the intermediate sense and the solution set of the minimization problem (MP) for a convex and continuously Frechet differentiable functional in Hilbert space. The iterative algorithm is based on several well-known methods including the extragradient method, CQ method, Mann-type iterative method and hybrid gradient projection algorithm with regularization. We obtain a strong convergence theorem for three sequences generated by our iterative algorithm. In addition, we also prove a new weak convergence theorem by a modified extragradient method with regularization for the MP and the mapping S.  相似文献
