The Mannich aminomethylation reaction of aromatic thiols has been used to produce diaza‐18‐crown‐6 ligands containing thiol‐derived side arms. Thiophenols were attached to the azacrown through N‐CH2‐S linkages even in the presence of hydroxy or acetamido groups. Heteroaromatic thiols containing N=C‐SH (or NH‐C=S) structural fragments were attached to diaza‐18‐crown‐6 by N‐CH2‐N linkages with the thiol becoming a thione function. X‐ray crystal structural analyses show the N‐CH2‐S and N‐CH2‐N linkages for some of the new macrocyclic compounds. Interactions of four of the new diaza‐18‐crown‐6 ligands with Na+, K+, Ba2+, Ag+, Zn2+, Cd2+, Ni2+, and Cu2+ were evaluated by calorimetric titration at 25° in methanol. The results show that these ligands form stable complexes with many of the metal ions studied.  相似文献

A series of macrocyclic diazadi(and tri)thiacrown ethers containing two 5‐substituent‐8‐hydroxyquinoline side arms have been synthesized from the corresponding macrocyclic diazadi(and tri)thiacrown ethers. The crown ethers were obtained by reduction of the proper macrocyclic di(and tri)thiadiamides by borane‐tetrahydrofuran or by sodium borohydride‐boron trifluoride ethyl etherate‐tetrahydrofuran. The yields for the reduction of diamides by sodium borohydride‐boron trifluoride ethyl etherate‐tetrahydrofuran were higher than those by borane‐tetrahydrofuran. The following four methods were used to prepare macrocycles bearing two 8‐hydroxyquinoline side arms: (1) Mannich reaction with 8‐hydroxyquinoline; (2) Reductive animation with 8‐hydroxyquinoline‐2‐carboxaldehyde using sodium triacetoxyborohydride as the reducing agent; (3) Cyclization of N,N'‐bis(8‐hydroxyquinolin‐2‐ylmethyl)‐1,2‐bis(2‐aminoethoxy)ethane (38) with bis(α‐chloroamide) 5 ; and ( 4 ) A step‐by‐step process wherein macrocyclic trithiadiamide 11 was reduced by lithium aluminum hydride‐tetrahydrofuran to the cyclic monoamide 36 , which smoothly reacted with 5‐chloro‐8‐hydroxyquinoline to produce monosubstituted‐macrocyclic monoamide 39 .  相似文献

The crystal structures of tris(2‐methylquinolin‐8‐olato‐N,O)iron(III), [Fe(C10H8NO)3], (I), and aquabis(2‐methylquinolin‐8‐olato‐N,O)copper(II), [Cu(C10H8NO)2(H2O)], (II), have been determined. Compound (I) has a distorted octahedral configuration, in which the central Fe atom is coordinated by three N atoms and three O atoms from three 2‐methylquinolin‐8‐olate ligands. The three Fe—O bond distances are in the range 1.934 (2)–1.947 (2) Å, while the three Fe—N bond distances range from 2.204 (2) to 2.405 (2) Å. In compound (II), the central CuII atom and H2O group lie on the crystallographic twofold axis and the coordination geometry of the CuII atom is close to trigonal bipyramidal, with the three O atoms in the basal plane and the two N atoms in apical positions. The Cu—N bond length is 2.018 (5) Å. The Cu—O bond length in the basal positions is 1.991 (4) Å, while the Cu—O bond length in the apical position is 2.273 (6) Å. There is an intermolecular OW—H?O hydrogen bond which links the molecules into a linear chain along the b axis.  相似文献

In the structure of the title compound, 28,31,36,39‐tetraoxa‐9,17,42‐triaza‐1,25‐diazoniapentacyclo[23.8.5.111,15.03,8.018,23]nonatriaconta‐3,5,7,9,11,13,15,16,18,20,22‐undecene bis(perchlorate), C33H43N5O42+·2ClO4 or (H2L)(ClO4)2, the cation and one of the two independent anions lie on crystallographic twofold axes, while the second perchlorate anion is disordered about a centre of inversion. The conformation of the macrobicycle L is conditioned by two strong intramolecular hydrogen‐bonding interactions involving the pivot and imine N atoms, and is quite different from that observed when a metal ion is placed inside its cavity. The two imine groups are not coplanar with the pyridine moiety, and the deviation from planarity is considerably larger than that found in the corresponding Ba complex. Moreover, the fold of the macrobicycle in H2L2+ causes a significant approach of the two pivot N atoms compared with their disposition in the Ba complex. This is the first X‐ray crystal structure analysis of an uncoordinated Schiff base lateral macrobicycle.  相似文献

In the title compound [systematic name: triaqua(1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane‐κ6O)(2‐nitrophenolato‐κO)barium(II)–aqua(1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane‐κ6O)‐ bis(2‐nitrophenolato‐κ2O,O′)barium(II)–2‐nitrophenolate (1/1/1)], [Ba(C12H24O6)(C6H4NO3)(H2O)3][Ba(C12H24O6)(C6H4NO3)2(H2O)](C6H4NO3), the two BaII atoms encapsulated by the 18‐crown‐6 rings have different coordinations. Although both BaII atoms are coordinated to the six O atoms of the crowns, in the neutral moiety, the BaII atom is coordinated to one terminal O atom from a water molecule, two phenolate O atoms and two nitro‐group O atoms, while in the cationic moiety, the BaII atom is coordinated to three terminal O atoms from water molecules and one phenolate O atom. Both the crowns are eclipsed and translated along the b direction. In the asymmetric unit, the three components are interconnected by four O—H?O interactions. The packing is stabilized by two intermolecular C—H?O interactions and by one O—H?O interaction.  相似文献

In the crystal structure of (perchlorato‐κ2O,O′))(28,31,36,39tetraoxa‐1,9,17,25,42‐pentaazapentacyclo[23.8.5.111,15.03,8.018,23]nonatriaconta‐3,5,7,9,11,13,15,16,18,20,22‐undecaene‐κ8N1,N9, N17,N42,O28,O31,O36,O39)barium(II) perchlorate, [Ba(ClO4)(C33H41N5O4)](ClO4), the BaII cation is situated in the macrobicyclic cavity, bound to only eight of the nine available donor atoms of the Schiff base macrobicyclic receptor. The pivotal N5 atom does not belong to the coordination sphere of the BaII ion, in spite of its endo conformation with the lone pair directed towards the inside of the cavity. The BaII ion completes its coordination core with two O atoms of one bidentate perchlorate group.  相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of 2‐(quinolin‐8‐yloxy)acetonitrile and Cd(ClO4)2 yielded the noncentrosymmetric coordination complex tetrakis[μ‐2‐(quinolin‐8‐yloxy)acetato]tetrakis[μ‐2‐(quinolin‐8‐yloxy)acetonitrile]tetracadmium tetrakis(perchlorate) dihydrate, [Cd4(C11H8NO3)4(C11H8N2O)4](ClO4)4·2H2O. The local coordination environment around the CdII cation can be best described as a capped octahedron defined by two N atoms and five O atoms from three ligands. The CdII cations are linked by the ligands with Cd—O—Cd and Cd—O—C—C—O—Cd bridges, forming tetranuclear units, there being two independent tertranuclear units in the structure. The fourfold rotoinversion centre sits at the centre of each Cd4 core. The two perchlorate anions in the asymmetric unit are linked by the water molecule through O—H...O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The title compound, catena‐poly[[bromocopper(II)]‐μ‐(quinolin‐8‐yloxy)acetato‐κ4N,O,O′:O′′], [CuBr(C11H8NO3)]n, is a novel carboxylate‐bridged one‐dimensional helical copper(II) polymer. The metal ion exhibits an approximately square‐pyramidal CuBrNO3 coordination environment, with the three donor atoms of the ligand and the bromide ion occupying the basal positions, and an O atom belonging to the carboxylate group of an adjacent molecule in the apical site. Carboxylate groups are mutually cis oriented, and each antianti carboxylate group bridges two copper(II) ions via one apical and one basal position [Cu⋯Cu = 5.677 (1) Å], resulting in the formation of a helical chain along the crystallographic b axis.  相似文献

The synthesis of potassium (η2‐4‐allyl‐2‐methoxyphenol)trichloridoplatinate(II), K[PtCl3(C10H12O2)], ( 1 ), starting from Zeise's salt and Ocimum sanctum L. oil has been optimized. Starting from ( 1 ), three new platinum(II) complexes, namely (η2‐4‐allyl‐2‐methoxyphenol)chlorido(2‐methylquinolin‐8‐olato‐κ2N ,O )platinum(II), ( 2 ), (η2‐4‐allyl‐2‐methoxyphenol)chlorido(5‐nitroquinolin‐8‐olato‐κ2N ,O )platinum(II), ( 3 ), and (η2‐4‐allyl‐2‐methoxyphenol)chlorido(5,7‐dichloroquinolin‐8‐olato‐κ2N ,O )platinum(II), [Pt(C9H4Cl2NO)Cl(C10H12O2)], ( 4 ), containing eugenol and a quinolin‐8‐ol derivative (R‐OQ), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, MS, IR, 1H NMR and NOESY spectra. For ( 1 ) and ( 4 ), single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies were also carried out. Complexes ( 2 )–( 4 ) show good inhibiting abilities on three human cancer cell lines, i.e. KB, Hep‐G2 and LU, with IC50 values of 1.42–17.8 µM . Complex ( 3 ) gives an impressively high activity against KB, Hep‐G2, LU and MCF‐7, with IC50 values of 1.42–4.91 µM , which are much lower than those of cisplatin and some other platinum(II) complexes.  相似文献

Bis(N‐ethylbenzimidazol‐2‐ylmethyl)aniline (Etbba) and its transition metal complexes, [Cu(Etbba)(Cl)2]?DMF ( 1 ), [Mn(Etbba)(Cl)2] ( 2 ) and [Ni(Etbba)(Cl)2] ( 3 ), have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV–visible, infrared and NMR spectroscopies and X‐ray crystallography. The coordination environment of complex 1 can be described as distorted square‐based pyramidal, while complexes 2 and 3 each have a distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometry. Cyclic voltammograms of complex 1 indicate an electrochemically quasi‐reversible Cu2+/Cu+ couple. In addition, the antioxidant activities of the free ligand and its complexes were investigated using the superoxide and hydroxyl radical scavenging methods in vitro. Complexes 1 , 2 , 3 are found to possess potent hydroxyl radical scavenging activity and to be better than standard antioxidants like vitamin C and mannitol. Furthermore, complexes 1 and 2 exhibit significant superoxide radical activity. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The synthesis of M(II)(2) complexes (M(II)=Co, Mn) with terminal hydroxo ligands has been achieved utilizing a dinucleating ligand containing a bridging pyrazolate unit and appended (neopentyl)aminopyridyl groups. Structural studies on the complexes revealed that the M(II)-OH units are positioned in a syn-configuration, placing the hydroxo ligands in close proximity (ca. 3 ? apart), which may be a prerequisite for water oxidation.  相似文献

The reaction of propane‐1,3‐diamine hydrochloride, 18‐crown‐6 and zinc(II) chloride in methanol solution yields the title complex salt [systematic name: propane‐1,3‐diaminium tetrachloridozincate(II)–1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane (1/1)], (C3H12N2)[ZnCl4]·C12H24O6, with an unusual supramolecular structure. The diprotonated propane‐1,3‐diaminium cation forms an unexpected 1:1 supramolecular rotator–stator complex with the crown ether, viz. [C3H12N2(18‐crown‐6)]2+, in which one of the –NH3+ substituents nests in the crown and interacts through N—H...O hydrogen bonding. The other –NH3+ group interacts with the [ZnCl4]2− anion via N—H...Cl hydrogen bonding, forming cation–crown–anion ribbons parallel to [010].  相似文献

Summary Copper(II) complexes with a tridentate chelating ligand within the general 2N, X (X = O or S) donor class, containing abis(benzimidazolyl) donor set, were prepared and characterized. X-band e.p.r. spectra of the complexes indicateg >g and the largeg and lowA have been interpreted in terms of a distorted basal plane. Superimposed on theg component are five SHF lines withA N = 16±2G, supporting the interaction of two nitrogen atoms with the copper nucleus. Thus, the basal plane of the complex comprises 2N atoms, with the ligand hetero atom being axially coordinated.  相似文献

The molecule of the title compound {systematic name: di‐μ‐sulfido‐bis[diaqua(1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane‐κ6O)barium(II)] bis[1,2‐benzisothiazol‐3(2H)‐one 1,1‐dioxide]}, [Ba2S2(C12H24O6)2(H2O)4](C7H5NO3S)2, lies on an inversion centre. The BaII atom encapsulated by the 18‐crown‐6 ring is coordinated by the six O atoms of the crown, two water O atoms and two bridging S atoms. The four‐membered ring composed of the BaII atoms and the bridging S atoms makes a dihedral angle of 67.1 (1)° with the crown‐ether ring. The aromatic ring system of the saccharin moiety is essentially planar. The packing is built up from layers of the molecules and is stabilized by three intermolecular O—H?O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

A series of double armed diaza‐15‐crown‐5 ethers (9a ‐ 16a) and diaza‐18‐crown‐6 ethers (9b ‐ 16b) have been prepared by the Mannich reaction of 2,6‐disubstituted phenols with the corresponding N,N'‐dimethoxymethyldiaza‐crown ethers in benzene. The crystal structures of the diaza‐18‐crown‐6 ethers having iso‐propyl (10b) , tert‐butyl (11b) , and mixed methyl and tert‐butyl groups (12b) at positions 3′ and 5′ of the phenolic side arms were determined using X‐ray diffraction methods. Competitive transport by these ligands for sodium, potassium and cesium cations were measured under basic‐source phase and acidic‐receiving phase conditions.  相似文献

Reactions of asymmetric ligand N-phenylacetyl picoloylhydrazide (HL) and copper(II) acetate/chloride give two complexes CuL2 (1) and Cu2Cl2L2 (2). The coordination geometries of Cu(II) in 1 and 2 are a severely distorted octahedron and a distorted square pyramid, respectively. The binuclear copper complex 2 contains a centrosymmetric Cu2(μ-Cl)2 core. Individual molecules of 1 and 2 further self-assemble through non-covalent intermolecular bonds in the solid state to form extended 2-D polymers. The magnetic properties, IR, EA, and solid-state photoluminescence properties of the title complexes are presented.  相似文献

Tetraaqua(18‐crown‐6)cerium(III) hexacyanoferrate(III) dihydrate, [Ce(C12H24O6)(H2O)4][Fe(CN)6]·2H2O, and tetraaqua(18‐crown‐6)neodymium(III) hexacyanoferrate(III) dihydrate, [Nd(C12H24O6)(H2O)4][Fe(CN)6]·2H2O, are isomorphous and isostructural in the C2/c space group, where the cations, which contain ten‐coordinate lanthanoid centres, lie across twofold rotation axes and the anions lie across inversion centres. In these compounds, an extensive series of O—H...O and O—H...N hydrogen bonds links the components into a continuous three‐dimensional framework. Triaqua(18‐crown‐6)lanthanoid(III) hexacyanoferrate(III) dihydrate, [Ln(C12H24O6)(H2O)3][Fe(CN)6]·2H2O, where Ln = Sm, Eu, Gd or Tb, are all isomorphous and isostructural in the P space group, as are triaqua(18‐crown‐6)gadolinium(III) hexacyanochromate(III) dihydrate, [Gd(C12H24O6)(H2O)3][Cr(CN)6]·2H2O, and triaqua(18‐crown‐6)gadolinium(III) hexacyanocobaltate(III) dihydrate, [Gd(C12H24O6)(H2O)3][Co(CN)6]·2H2O. In these compounds, there are two independent anions, both lying across inversion centres, and the lanthanoid centres exhibit nine‐coordination; in the crystal structures, an extensive series of hydrogen bonds links the components into a three‐dimensional framework.  相似文献

The structure of the title compound [systematic name: bis(adamantan‐1‐aminium) tetrachloridozincate(II)–1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane–water (1/1/1)], (C10H18N)2[ZnCl4]·C12H24O6·H2O, consists of supramolecular rotator–stator assemblies and ribbons of hydrogen bonds parallel to [010]. The assemblies are composed of one protonated adamantan‐1‐aminium cation and one crown ether molecule (1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane) to give an overall [(C10H18N)(18‐crown‐6)]+ cation. The –NH3+ group of the cation nests in the crown and links to the crown‐ether O atoms through N—H...O hydrogen bonds. The 18‐crown‐6 ring adopts a pseudo‐C3v conformation. The second adamantan‐1‐aminium forms part of ribbons of adamantan‐1‐aminium–water–tetrachloridozincate units which are interconnected by O—H...Cl, N—H...O and N—H...Cl hydrogen bonds via three different continuous rings with R54(12), R43(10) and R33(8) motifs.  相似文献

Thallium(18‐crown‐6) hexafluorophosphate was prepared and its structure was determined by X‐ray diffraction analysis. The Tl+ ion is surrounded by six oxygen atoms of 18‐crown‐6 and three fluorine atoms of , forming a sandwiched structure. If the three Tl–F interactions were considered significant, the coordination number in the title compound would be nine. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
