This work reports the highly‐sensitive amperometric determination of free glycerol in biodiesel at a gold electrode adapted in a flow‐injection analysis (FIA) cell. The amperometric method involved the continuous application of three sequential pulses to the working electrode (+250 mV, +700 mV, and ?200 mV, for 100 ms each). This sequence of potential pulses eliminated electrode passivation and dramatically increased the analytical signal. The proposed FIA‐amperometric method presented low relative standard deviation between injections (1.5 %, n=15), high analytical frequency (85 h?1), satisfactory recovery values (93–118 %) for spiked samples, wide linear range (from 1 to 300 µmol L?1), and low detection limit (0.5 µmol L?1).  相似文献

A modified electrode was fabricated by grafting of poly (2,6‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid) film (PDC) by electropolymerization of 2,6‐pyridinedicarboxylic acid on the glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Then, gold nanoparticles (NG) and 1,2‐naphthoquinone‐4‐sulfonic acid sodium (Nq) were immobilized on the PDC/GCE to prepare Nq/NG/PDC/GCE by immersing electrode into NG and Nq solution, respectively. The Nq species on NG/PDC/GCE could catalyze electrooxidation of N‐acetyl‐L ‐cysteine (NAC) with lowering the over potential by about 600 mV. This method used for detection of NAC in dynamic range from 4.0×10?6 M to 1.30×10?4 M with a detection of limit (2σ) 8.0×10?7 M.  相似文献

A modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode was developed for the amperometric detection of biogenic amines, particularly histamine. The electrode was modified with the co‐enzyme pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) by entrapment during electropolymerziation of pyrrole to form polypyrrole (PPy). This method formed a thin film on the electrode surface possessing very good stability with a shelf‐life exceeding one month without loss of signal. Optimal conditions for the PQQ/PPy electrode were determined and a linear response was found for histamine in phosphate buffer (pH 6) at +550 mV from 40 to 170 mg L?1 with a limit of detection (S/N≥3) of 38 mg L?1. The practical linear range offered by this method suggests ideal use for spoilage detection in fermented foods.  相似文献

Pulsed amperometric detection (PAD) at a gold electrode and conductivity detection are compared for glucose, as a representative of the general challenge of the chromatographic detection of carbohydrates. In alkaline solutions of barium hydroxide, which are useful for anion-exchange separation of carbohydrates, PAD is significantly more sensitive than the conductivity detector but the latter provides linear response to higher concentrations than those observed for PAD. The combined technique of conductivity in series with PAD is linear for glucose over the range 6×10?7?1×10?2 M (ca. 6 ng-10 mg per 50-μl sample injection).  相似文献

Superoxide dismutase (SOD) plays an important role in nearly all living cells. In this study, SOD imprinted poly(ionic liquid)s (SIPILs) were prepared on the surface of the bare Au electrode modified with nano‐palladium and nano‐gold (Au/nPd/nAu/SIPILs). SIPILs was synthesized with 1‐vinyl‐3‐propyl imidazole sulfonate ionic liquids as functional monomers via electrochemically mediated atom transfer radical polymerization (eATRP) catalyzed by SOD. The Au/nPd/nAu/SIPILs was examined by cyclic voltammetry (CV), scanning electron microscope (SEM), energy‐dispersive spectrometer (EDS) and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The Au/nPd/nAu/SIPILs was also used as an electrochemical sensor to determine SOD by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). Under the optimal conditions, the detection range of SOD was from 1.0×10?8 to 1.0×102 mg L?1 with a limit of detection of 8.90×10?9 mg L?1 (S/N=3). Compared with other methods, the sensor based on SIPILs had the broader linear range and lower detection limit.  相似文献

The direct electron transfer between immobilized myoglobin (Mb) and colloidal gold modified carbon paste electrode was studied. The Mb immobilized on the colloidal gold nanoparticles displayed a pair of redox peaks in 0.1 M pH 7.0 PBS with a formal potential of –(0.108 ± 0.002) V (vs. NHE). The response showed a surface‐controlled electrode process with an electron transfer rate constant of (26.7 ± 3.7) s ?1 at scan rates from 10 to 100 mV s?1 and a diffusion‐controlled process involving the diffusion of proton at scan rates more than 100 mV s?1. The immobilized Mb maintained its activity and could electrocatalyze the reduction of both hydrogen peroxide and nitrite. Thus, the novel renewable reagentless sensors for hydrogen peroxide and nitrite were developed, respectively. The activity of Mb with respect to the pseudo peroxidase with a KMapp value of 0.65 mM could respond linearly to hydrogen peroxide concentration from 4.6 to 28 μM. The sensor exhibited a fast amperometric response to NO2? reduction and reached 93% of steady‐state current within 5 s. The linear range for NO2? determination was from 8.0 to 112 μM with a detection limit of 0.7 μM at 3σ.  相似文献

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes with nanosized sputtered gold were used to modify a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The substrate was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction, cyclic voltammetry and amperometry. SEM micrographs indicated an uniform coverage of the carbon nanotubes with nanosized (poly)crystalline gold. Cyclic voltammetry reveals that peak separation of the unmodified GCE in the presence of 1?mM ferricyanide is 131?mV, but 60?mV only for the modified GCE. In addition, the oxidation of NADH (1?mmol?L?1 solution) begins at negative potentials (around ?100?mV vs. Ag/AgCl), and the anodic peak potential (corresponding to the irreversible oxidation of NADH) is found at +94?mV. The effect of pH on the electrocatalytic activity was studied in the range from 5.4 to 8.0. The relationship between the anodic peak potential and the pH indicated a variation of ?33.5?mV/pH which is in agreement with a two-electron and one-proton reaction mechanism. Amperometry, performed at either ?50 or +50?mV vs. an Ag/AgCl reference electrode, indicates that the modified electrode is a viable amperometric sensor for NADH. At a working potential of +50?mV, the response to NADH is linear in the concentration range from 1 to 100???mol?L?1, with an RSD of 6% (n?=?4).

Electrochemical behavior of dopamine (DA) was investigated at the gold nanoparticles self‐assembled glassy carbon electrode (GNP/LC/GCE), which was fabricated by self‐assembling gold nanoparticles on the surface of L ‐cysteine (LC) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) via successive cyclic voltammetry (CV). A pair of well‐defined redox peaks of DA on the GNP/LC/GCE was obtained at Epa=0.197 V and Epc=0.146 V, respectively. And the peak separation between DA and AA is about 0.2 V, which is enough for simultaneous determination of DA and AA. The peak currents of DA and AA were proportional with their concentrations in the range of 6.0×10?8–8.5×10?5 mol L?1 and 1.0×10?6–2.5×10?3 mol L?1, with the detection limit of 2.0×10?8 mol L?1 and 3.0×10?7 mol L?1 (S/N=3), respectively. The modified electrode exhibits an excellent reproducibility, sensibility and stability for simultaneous determination of DA and AA in human serum with satisfactory result.  相似文献

A new methodology, based on silver electrocatalytic deposition and designed to quantify gold deposited onto carbon paste electrode (CPE) and glassy carbon electrode (GCE), has been developed in this work. Silver (prepared in 1.0 M NH3) electrodeposition at ?0.13 V occurs only when gold is previously deposited at an adequate potential on the electrode surface for a fixed period of time. When a CPE is used as working electrode, an adequate oxidation of gold is necessary. This oxidation is carried out in both 0.1 M NaOH and 0.1 M H2SO4 at oxidation potentials. When a GCE is used as working electrode, the oxidation steps are not necessary. Moreover, a cleaning step in KCN, which removes gold from electrode surface, is included. To obtain reproducibility in the analytical signal, the surface of the electrodes must be suitably pretreated; this electrodic pretreatment depends on the kind of electrode used as working electrode. Low detection limits (5.0×10?10 M) for short gold deposition times (10 min for CPE and 5 min for GCE) were achieved with this novel methodology. Finally, sodium aurothiomalate can be quantified using silver electrocatalytic deposition and GCE as working electrode. Good linear relationship between silver anodic stripping peak and aurothiomalate concentration was found from 5.0×10?10 M to 1.0×10?8 M.  相似文献

Electrochemically active hybrid coatings based on cationic films, didodecyldimethylammonium bromide (DDDMAB), and poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDADMAC) are prepared on glassy carbon electrode surface by cycling the film‐covered electrode repetitively in a pH 7 solution containing flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD), and anionic hexacyanometalate (HCM) complexes, Fe(CN)63? and Ru(CN)64?. Cyclic voltammetric features of hybrid coatings resemble that of electron transfer process of surface‐confined redox species. Electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) was used to monitor the deposition of FAD on DDDMAB film. Cyclic voltammetric peak potentials of modified electrode were found to be shifted to more negative region with increasing pH of contacting solution with a slope value of 63.3mV per pH unit. The electrocatalytic behavior of FAD‐modified DDDMAB‐coated GCE and hybrid film electrodes was tested towards reduction of oxygen, S2O82?, SO52? and oxidation of SO32?. The application of FAD‐modified DDDMAB‐coated GCE for S2O82? estimation was demonstrated in amperometric mode. The sensitivity and detection limit (S/N=3) were 267.6 μA mM?1 and 2×10?6 M, respectively.  相似文献

A new composite electrode has been fabricated based on coating multi‐walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and n‐octylpyridinum hexafluorophosphate (OPPF6) ionic liquid composite on a glassy carbon (GC) electrode (OPPF6‐MWCNTs/GCE). This electrode shows very attractive electrochemical performances for electrooxidation of risperidone (RIS) compared to conventional electrodes using carbon and mineral oil, notably improved sensitivity and stability. The oxidation peak potentials in cyclic voltammogram of RIS on the OPPF6‐MWCNTs/GCE was occurred around 230 mV vs. SCE at Britton–Robinson (B–R) buffer (pH 4.0) at scan rate of 100 mV s?1. The electrochemical parameters such as diffusion coefficient (D), charge transfer coefficient (α) and the electron transfer rate constant (k/s) were determined using cyclic voltammetry. Under the optimized conditions, the peak current was linear to risperidone concentration over the concentration range of 10–200 nM with sensitivity of 0.016 μA/nM?1 using differential pulse voltammetry. The detection limit was 6.54 nM (S/N = 3). The electrode also displayed good selectivity and repeatability. In the presence of clozapine (CLZ) the response of RIS kept almost unchanged. Thus this electrode could find application in the determination of RIS in some real samples. The analytical performance of the OPPF6‐MWCNTs/GCE was demonstrated for the determination of RIS in human serum and pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

In this paper, a thiol graphene‐thiol chitosan‐gold nanoparticles (thGP‐thCTS‐AuNPs) nanocomposites film with porous structure was fabricated by electrochemically depositing on glassy carbon electrode (GCE), which exhibited good biocompatibility and improved conductivity, to construct immunosensor free label for detection of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). The electrochemical behavior of this immunosensor was investigated by cyclic voltammetry. Under the optimum conditions, the immunosensor revealed a good amperometric response to CEA in two linear ranges (0.3–8.0 ng mL?1 and 8.0–100 ng mL?1) with a detection limit of 0.03 ng mL?1. The results indicated that the immunosensor has the advantages of good selectivity, high sensitivity, and good stability for the determination of CEA.  相似文献

Prussian blue nanoparticles (PBNPs) were prepared by a self‐assembly process on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with poly(o‐phenylenediamine) (PoPD) film. The stepwise fabrication process of PBNP‐modified PoPD/GCE was characterized using scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The prepared PBNPs showed an average size of 70 nm and a homogeneous distribution on the surface of the modified electrode. The PBNPs/PoPD/GCE showed electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of pyridoxine (PN) and was used as an amperometric sensor. The modified electrode exhibited a linear response for PN oxidation over the concentration range 3–38.5 μM with a detection limit of ca 6.10 × 10?7 M (S/N = 3) and sensitivity of 2.79936 × 103 mA M?1 cm?2 using an amperometric method. The mechanism and kinetics of the catalytic oxidation reaction of PN were investigated using cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The values of α, kcat and D were estimated as 0.36, 1.089 × 102 M?1 s?1 and 8.9 × 10?5 cm2 s?1, respectively. This sensor also exhibited good anti‐interference and selectivity. A new electrode was developed by one-step potentiostatic electrodeposition (at ?2.0 V for 20 s) of Au/SiO2 nanoparticles on a glassy carbon electrode. The resulting electrode (nano-Au/SiO2/GCE) was characterized by scanning electronic microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and electrochemical techniques. The electrochemical behavior of dihydronicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) at the nano-Au/SiO2/GCE were thoroughly investigated. Compared to the unmodified electrode, the overpotential decreased by about 300 mV, and the current response significantly increased. These changes indicated that the modified electrode showed excellent catalytic activity in the oxidation of NADH. A linear relationship was obtained in the NADH concentration range from 1.0?×?10?6 to 1.0?×?10?4 mol?L?1. In addition, amperometric sensing of ethanol at the nano-Au/SiO2/GCE in combination with alcohol dehydrogenase and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide was successfully demonstrated. A wide linear response was also found for ethanol in the range from 5.0?×?10?5 to 1.0?×?10?3 mol?L?1 and 1.0?×?10?3 to 1.0?×?10?2 mol?L?1, respectively. The method was successfully applied to determine ethanol in beer and biological samples.  相似文献

Abstract

Poly (acridine orange) (PAO) film–modified electrode was prepared by the electrooxidation of Acridine orange on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) for the detection of hydroquinone in the presence of o‐hydroquinone and m‐hydroquinone. The electrochemical behavior of hydroquinone on the modified electrode was investigated with respect to different solution acidity, scan rate, and accumulation time. A pair of sharp and well‐defined peaks was obtained at 0.45 and 0.42 V [vs. a saturated calomel electrode (SCE)] at the PAO film–modified electrode. The potential difference between this pair of cathodic and anodic peaks was decreased to only 30 mV as compared to the 241 mV that was obtained on the bare glassy carbon electrode (GCE). As to o‐hydroquinone and m‐hydroquinone, their corresponding oxidation peaks appeared at 0.55 V and 0.89 V (vs. SCE), respectively. The oxidation potential differences between these three isomers enabled the separate detection of hydroquinone. Under the optimum experimental situation, the oxidation peak current of hydroquinone was proportional to the concentration at the range of 6.8×10?7–9.6×10?5 M. The detection limit was been estimated as 3×10?7 M with 130 s accumulation. This method was applied to the hydroquinone detection in tap water samples.  相似文献

Graphene nanosheets modified glassy carbon electrode (GNs/GCE) was fabricated as voltammetric sensor for rutin with good sensitivity, selectivity and reproducibility. The sensor exhibits an adsorption‐controlled, reversible two‐proton and two electron transfer reaction for the oxidation of rutin with a peak‐to‐peak separation (ΔEp) of 26 mV as revealed by cyclic voltammetry. Moreover, the redox peak current increased about 14 times than that on bare glassy carbon electrode (GCE). The linear response of the sensor is from 1×10?7 to 1×10?5 M with a detection limit of 2.1 × 10?8 M (S/N = 3). The method was successfully applied to determine rutin in tablets with satisfied recovery.  相似文献

Diphenylamine (DPA) monomers have been electropolymerized on the amino‐functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotube (AFCNT) composite film modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The surface morphology of PDPA‐AFCNT was studied using field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM). The interfacial electron transfer phenomenon at the modified electrode was studied using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The PDPA‐AFCNT/GCE represented a multifunctional sensor and showed good electrocatalytic behavior towards the oxidation of catechol and the reduction of hydrogen peroxide. Rotating‐disk electrode technique was applied to detect catechol with a sensitivity of 1360 µA mM?1 cm?2 and a detection limit of 0.01 mM. Amperometric determination of hydrogen peroxide at the PDPA‐AFCNT film modified electrode results in a linear range from 10 to 800 µM, a sensitivity of 487.1 µA mM?1 cm?2 and detection limit of 1 µM. These results show that the nano‐composite film modified electrode can be utilized to develop a multifunctional sensor.  相似文献

This work presents the electrochemical oxidation of the antioxidant astaxanthin on a glassy‐carbon electrode (GCE) and its amperometric determination in salmon samples using a batch‐injection analysis (BIA) system. The proposed BIA method consisted of 80‐µL a fast microliter injection of sample at 193 µL s?1 on the GCE immersed in the electrolyte, a mixture of acetone, dichloromethane, and water (80 : 10 : 10 v/v), containing 0.1 mol L?1 HClO4. Advantages include high precision (RSD of 2.4 %), sample throughput of 240 h?1, and low detection limit (0.3 µmol L?1 that corresponds to 0.1 µg g?1) for the analysis of acetone extracts of salmon samples. Recovery values between 83 and 97 % attested the accuracy of the method.  相似文献

A flow injection with pulsed amperometric detection for determination of doxycycline or chlortetracycline in pharmaceutical formulations is described. Doxycycline or chlortetracycline were studied at a gold rotating disk electrode with cyclic voltammetry as a function of pH of supporting electrolyte solution. The optimized PAD waveform parameters were obtained with a flow injection system. The optimized pulsed conditions of doxycycline were 1150 mV (versus Ag/AgCl reference electrode) detection potential (Edet) for 220 ms (150 ms delay time and 70 ms integration time), 1500 mV (versus Ag/AgCl reference electrode) oxidation potential (Eoxd) for 70 ms oxidation time (toxd) and 250 mV (versus Ag/AgCl reference electrode) reduction potentail (Ered) for 400 ms reactivation time (tred). The optimized pulsed conditions of chlortetracycline were 1050 mV (versus Ag/AgCl reference electrode) detection potential (Edet) for 300 ms (200 ms delay time and 100 ms integration time), 1300 mV (versus Ag/AgCl reference electrode) oxidation potential (Eoxd) for 70 ms oxidation time (toxd) and 250 mV (versus Ag/AgCl reference electrode) reduction potentail (Ered) for 400 ms reactivation time (tred). The optimized PAD waveform was applied to the determination of doxycycline hydrochloride and chlortetracycline hydrochloride standard solution and in pharmaceutical formulations. The linear dynamic ranges of doxycycline hydrochloride and chlortetracycline hydrochloride were 1 μM–0.1 mM. The sensitivity of this method was found to be 23 μA/mM for doxycycline hydrochloride and 33.76 μA/mM for chlortetracycline hydrochloride. The detection limit for both compounds is 1 μM. The doxycycline hydrochloride and chlortetracycline hydrochloride content in commercially available tablet dosage forms by the proposed method was comparable to those specified by the manufacturer.  相似文献
