HoClTe2O5: A Telluriumdioxide‐rich Holmium(III) Chloride Oxotellurate(IV) While attempting to synthesize anionically derivatized holmium oxotellurates by reacting holmium chloride (HoCl3) with tellurium oxide (TeO3; molar ratio 1 : 3, 800°C 10 d) in evacuated silica ampoules, transparent, greenish yellow and coarse single crystals of holmium(III) chloride oxotellurate(IV) HoClTe2O5 (triclinic, P1; a = 762.07(6), b = 796.79(6), c = 1010.36(8) pm, α = 100.987(4), ß = 99.358(4), γ = 91.719(4)°; Z = 4) were obtained. The crystal structure contains eightfold coordinated (Ho1)3+ (only surrounded by oxygen atoms) and sevenfold coordinated (Ho2)3+ cations (surrounded by one chloride and six oxide anions). Each sort of holmium polyhedra convenes independently to chains along [100] by edge‐sharing which again combine alternately via O6 and O9 to form 2{[Ho2O10(Cl1)]15—} layers parallel (001). Each of the four crystallographically different Te4+ cations are surrounded by three close oxygen atoms (d(Te—O) = 188 — 195 pm) and always one more situated further away. The stereochemical activity of the non‐bonding electron pairs (“lone pairs”) leads to ψ1‐trigonal bipyramidal coordination figures. The ψ1‐tetrahedral [TeO3]2— basic units form discrete [Te2O5]2— doubles with ecliptic conformation which are arranged in a fish‐bone pattern parallel to (001) on both sides of the 2{[Ho2O10Cl]15—} layers. The coherence of the 2{[Ho2(Cl1)Te4O10]+} layers is exclusively maintained via Cl2—Te1 contacts with an extraordinary long distance of 335 pm. As (Cl1) belongs to the coordination sphere of (Ho2)3+ and (Cl2) is only surrounded by Te4+, the compound should be correctly named holmium(III) chloride oxochlorotellurate(IV) Ho2Cl[Te4O10Cl] (Z = 2).  相似文献

Metal Derivatives of Molecular Compounds. IV Synthesis, Structure, and Reactivity of Lithium [Tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]tellanide · DME Lithium tris(trimethylsilyl)silanide · 1,5 DME [3] and tellurium react in 1,2-dimethoxyethane to give colourless lithium [tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]tellanide · DME ( 1 ). An X-ray structure determination {-150 · 3·C; P21/c; a = 1346.6(4); b = 1497.0(4); c = 1274.5(3) pm; β = 99.22(2)·; Z = 2 dimers; R = 0.030} shows the compound to be dimeric forming a planar Li? Te? Li? Te ring with two tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl substituents in a trans position. Three-coordinate tellurium is bound to the central silicon of the tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl group and to two lithium atoms; the two remaining sites of each four-coordinate lithium are occupied by the chelate ligand DME {Li? Te 278 and 284; Si? Te 250; Li? O 200 pm (2X); Te? Li? Te 105°; Li? Te? Li 75°; O? Li? O 84°}. The covalent radius of 154 pm as determined for the DME-complexed lithium in tellanide 1 is within the range of 155 ± 3 pm, also characteristic for similar compounds. In typical reactions of the tellanide 1 [tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]tellane ( 2 ), methyl-[tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]tellane ( 4 ) and bis[tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]ditellane ( 5 ) are formed.  相似文献

During attempts to synthesize rare‐earth nitride tellurides black and bead‐shaped single crystals of the title compound sodium praseodymium(III) ditelluride (NaPrTe2) were obtained as a by‐product by reacting a mixture of praseodymium, sodium azide (NaN3) and tellurium at 900 °C for seven days in evacuated torch‐sealed silica vessels. NaPrTe2 crystallizes cubic (space group: Fd3¯m, Z = 16; a = 1285.51(9) pm, Vm = 79.96(1) cm3/mol, R1 = 0.028 for 146 unique reflections) and exhibits the Na+ and Pr3+ cations in slightly distorted octahedra of six telluride anions (d(Na—Te) = 325 pm, d(Pr—Te) = 317 pm) each. The main characteristics of this new structure type for alkali‐metal rare‐earth(III) dichalcogenides can be derived from the rock‐salt type structure (NaCl, cubic closest‐packed Te2— arrangement, all octahedral voids occupied with Na+ and Pr3+) with alternating layers consisting of Na+ and Pr3+ cations in a ratio of 3:1 and 1:3, respectively, piled along the [111] direction.  相似文献

On Oxytellurides (M2O2Te) of the Early Lanthanides (M = La–Nd, Sm–Ho) with A- or anti -ThCr2Si2-Type Crystal Structure By reacting elementary lanthanide metal (M = La–Nd, Sm–Ho) with tellurium dioxide (TeO2) in a 2 : 1 molar ratio, it is possible to obtain pure and single-phase oxytellurides of the composition M2O2Te at 750 °C in evacuated silica tubes within a few days. When larger quantities of cesium chloride (CsCl) are added as flux, plate-like single crystals with square cross-section are formed which are not sensitive to hydrolysis and very suitable for crystal structure refinements from X-ray data. In the anti-ThCr2Si2 analogous crystal structure (tetragonal, I4/mmm, Z = 2; La2O2Te: a = 412.31(4), c = 1309.6(1) pm; Ce2O2Te: a = 408.17(4), c = 1294.7(1) pm; Pr2O2Te: a = 405.62(4), c = 1285.8(1) pm; Nd2O2Te: a = 403.08(4), c = 1277.1(1) pm; Sm2O2Te: a = 399.83(4), c = 1265.5(1) pm; Eu2O2Te: a = 397.56(4), c = 1257.9(1) pm; Gd2O2Te: a = 396.20(4), c = 1253.2(1) pm; Tb2O2Te: a = 393.89(4), c = 1245.4(1) pm; Dy2O2Te: a = 392.34(4), c = 1240.3(1) pm; Ho2O2Te: a = 390.57(6), c = 1239.0(3) pm) the M3+ cations are surrounded by nine anions (4 O2– und 4 + 1 Te2–) in the shape of a capped square antiprism. The anions show coordination numbers of four (O2–: tetrahedra) and eight plus two (Te2–: bicapped cubes) with respect to the cations. PbO-analogous square {[OM4/4]2}2+ triple layer slabs are present parallel (001), which originate through two-dimensional infinite linking of [OM4]10+ tetrahedra via two trans-orientated pairs of edges (i. e. four edges altogether). These cationic layers are piled alternatingly along [001] with likewise quadratic single layers of Te2– anions, which take care of the three-dimensional coherence as well as of the charge balance.  相似文献

The magnesium transition metal stannides MgRuSn4 and MgxRh3Sn7—x (x = 0.98—1.55) were synthesized from the elements in glassy carbon crucibles in a water‐cooled sample chamber of a high‐frequency furnace. They were characterized by X‐ray diffraction on powders and single crystals. MgRuSn4 adopts an ordered PdGa5 type structure: I4/mcm, a = 674.7(1), c = 1118.1(2) pm, wR2 = 0.0506, 515 F2 values and 12 variable parameters. The ruthenium atoms have a square‐antiprismatic tin coordination with Ru—Sn distances of 284 pm. These [RuSn8/2] antiprisms are condensed via common faces forming two‐dimensional networks. The magnesium atoms fill square‐prismatic cavities between adjacent [RuSn4] layers with Mg—Sn distances of 299 pm. The rhodium based stannides MgxRh3Sn7—x crystallize with the cubic Ir3Ge7 type structure, space groupe Im3m. The structures of four single crystals with x = 0.98, 1.17, 1.36, and 1.55 have been refined from X‐ray diffractometer data. With increasing tin substitution the a lattice parameter decreases from 932.3(1) pm for x = 0.98 to 929.49(6) pm for x = 1.55. The rhodium atoms have a square antiprismatic tin/magnesium coordination. Mixed Sn/Mg occupancies have been observed for both tin sites but to a larger extend for the 12d Sn2 site. Chemical bonding in MgRuSn4 and MgxRh3Sn7—x is briefly discussed.  相似文献

Crystal Structure of KPr3Te8 Out of the compounds ALn3Q4 (A = Na, K, Rb, Cs; Ln = Lanthanoid; Q = S, Se and Te) the crystal structure of the telluride KPr3Te8 was determined by X‐ray single‐crystal structure analysis. Single crystals of the compound were synthesized by a flux technique with K2Te3 as flux after separation of the K2Te3 excess by extraction with absolute dimethylformamide (DMF). The compound crystallizes monoclinically in space group P121/c1 with the lattice parameters a = 1390.58(7) pm, b = 1291.06(6) pm, c = 900, 18(5) pm and β = 99, 264(6)° isotypically to KNd3Te8. Characteristics in the crystal structure of KPr3Te8 are L‐shaped units of three tellurium atoms [Te3]2— as well as infinite zig‐zag chains of tellurium atoms [Te4]4—. The shortest interatomic distances in the chain are alternating only slightly with 298 and 300 pm and are in the range of partial bonds. Both structure elements are arranged in almost planar layers and are interconnected with each other by secondary interactions revealing interatomic distances in the range of 327 to 349 pm. The crystal structure of KPr3Te8 can be regarded as a addition‐defect variant of the binary NdTe3 structure type. This finding is illustrated by group‐subgroup relations in form of a so called Bärnighausen family tree.  相似文献

The complexes [Cu(AMTTO)Cl2] ( 2 ), [Cu(AMTTO)2]Cl ( 3 ), and [Cu(AMTTO)(PPh3)2Cl] ( 4 ) have been prepared and characterized by IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. Also single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies on compound 2 , 3 and 4 revealed that AMTTO acts in 2 as a bidentate ligand via nitrogen and sulfur atoms, in 3 and 4 as a monodentate via sulfur atoms. Complex 3 was already mentioned in literature, but the structure was not described in detail. The molecules in 2 form infinite chains through additional weak Cu—S interactions along [010] indicating the Jahn‐Teller distortion of the d9 ion Cu2+. The infinite chains are connected by hydrogen bonding along [100]. Crystal data for 2 at —80°C: monoclinic, space group P21/m, a = 666.7(1), b = 609.4(1), c = 1132.6(2) pm, b = 95.46(2)°, Z = 2, R1 = 0.0365; for 3 at —80°C: orthorhombic, space group Pbcn, a = 1291.2(2), b = 1146.5(1), c = 1000.5(1) pm, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0315; for 4 at —80°C: monoclinic, space group, P21/n, a = 879.4(1), b = 1849.3(2), c = 2293.8(3) pm, β = 92.38(1)°, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0688.  相似文献

Metal Derivatives of Molecular Compounds. V. Synthesis and Structure of Hexakis{lithium-[tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]tellanide}—Cyclopentane (1/1) . Lithium [tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]tellanide—DME (1/1) [1 b] prepared from lithium tris(trimethylsilyl)silanide—DME (2/3) [3] and tellurium, reacts with hydrogen chloride in toluene to form [tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]tellane ( 1 ) [1 b]. Subsequent metalation of this compound with lithium n-butanide gives lithium [tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]tellanide ( 2 ) free of coordinating solvent. Pale yellow crystals are obtained from cyclopentane solution. An X-ray structure determination {P1 ; a = 1 558.5(7); b = 1 598.4(8); c = 1 643.5(6) pm; α = 117.64(4); β = 91.63(3); γ = 117.19(3)°; Z = 1; R = 0.032} shows them to be the (1/1) packing complex ( 2 ′) of hexakis{lithium-[tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl]tellanide} and disordered cyclopentane molecules —{Li? Te? Si[Si(CH3)3]3}6 · C5H10.  相似文献

About the Synthesis of Tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl Potassium, Rubidium and Cesium and the Molecular Structures of two Toluene Solvates . Solventfree tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl potassium ( 1 ), rubidium ( 2 ) and cesium ( 3 ) are obtained by the reaction of the zink group bis[tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl] derivatives with the appropriate alkali metal in n-pentane. Addition of benzene or toluene to the colourless powders yields deeply coloured solutions. From these solutions single crystals of tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl rubidium—toluene (2/1) ( 2 a ) and tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl cesium—toluene (2/3) ( 3 a ) suitable for X-ray structure analysis are iso- lated [ 2a : orthorhombic; P212121; a = 1 382.1(3); b = 1 491.7(5); c = 2 106.3(6) pm; Z = 4 (dimers); 3a : orthorhombic; P212121; a = 2 131.0(6); b = 2 833.1(2); c = 925.2(2) pm; Z = 4 (dimers)]. The central structure moieties are folded four-membered Rb2Si2 and Cs2Si2 rings, respectively. Small Si? Si? Si angles (100 to 104°) on the one hand and extreme highfield 29Si-NMR shifts of the central silicon atoms on the other hand indicate a strong charge transfer from the alkali metal atoms to the tris(trimethylsilyl)silyl fragments, i.e. mainly ionic interactions between alkalimetal and silicon atoms.  相似文献

New intermetallic rare earth iridium silicides Sm3Ir2Si2, HoIrSi, and YbIrSi were synthesized by reaction of the elements in sealed tantalum tubes in a high‐frequency furnace. The compounds were investigated by X‐ray diffraction both on powders and single crystals. HoIrSi and YbIrSi crystallize in a TiNiSi type structure, space group Pnma: a = 677.1(1), b = 417.37(6), c = 745.1(1) pm, wR2 = 0.0930, 340 F2 values for HoIrSi, and a = 667.2(2), b = 414.16(8), c = 742.8(2) pm, wR2 = 0.0370, 262 F2 values for YbIrSi with 20 parameters for each refinement. The iridium and silicon atoms build a three‐dimensional [IrSi] network in which the holmium(ytterbium) atoms are located in distorted hexagonal channels. Short Ir–Si distances (246–256 pm in YbIrSi) are indicative for strong Ir–Si bonding. Sm3Ir2Si2 crystallizes in a site occupancy variant of the W3CoB3 type: Cmcm, a = 409.69(2), b = 1059.32(7), c = 1327.53(8) pm, wR2 = 0.0995, 383 F2 values and 27 variables. The Ir1, Ir2, and Si atoms occupy the Co, B2, and B1 positions of W3CoB3, leading to eight‐membered Ir4Si4 rings within the puckered two‐dimensional [IrSi] network. The Ir–Si distances range from 245 to 251 pm. The [IrSi] networks are separated by the samarium atoms. Chemical bonding in HoIrSi, YbIrSi, and Sm3Ir2Si2 is briefly discussed.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Complexes [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2PdCl2], [Ph4P]2[(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]2 and [(n‐Bu)4N]2[Pd3Cl8] The threenuclear complex [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2 PdCl2] ( 1 ) is obtained in THF by the reaction of PdCl2(NCC6H5)2 with [(n‐Bu)4N][ReNCl4] in the molar ration 1:2. It forms orange crystals with the composition 1· THF crystallizing in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 2973.3(2); b = 1486.63(7); c = 1662.67(8)pm; β = 120.036(5)° and Z = 4. If the reaction is carried out with PdCl2 instead of PdCl2(NCC6H5)2, orange crystals of hitherto unknown [(n‐Bu)4N]2[Pd3Cl8] ( 3 ) are obtained besides some crystals of 1· THF. 3 crystallizes with the space group P1¯ and a = 1141.50(8), b = 1401.2(1), c = 1665.9(1)pm, α = 67.529(8)°, β = 81.960(9)°, γ = 66.813(8)° and Z = 2. In the centrosymmetric complex anion [{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2PdCl2]2— a linear PdCl2 moiety is connected in trans arrangement with two complex fragments [(THF)Cl4Re≡N] via asymmetric nitrido bridges Re≡N‐Pd. For Pd(II) thereby results a square‐planar coordination PdCl2N2. The linear nitrido bridges are characterized by distances Re‐N = 163.8(7)pm and Pd‐N = 194.1(7)pm. The crystal structure of 3 contains two symmetry independent, planar complexes [Pd3Cl8]2— with the symmetry 1¯, in which the Pd atoms are connected by slightly asymmetric chloro bridges. By the reaction of equimolar amounts of [Ph4P][ReNCl4] and PdCl2(NCC6H5)2 in THF brown crystals of the heterometallic complex, [Ph4P]2[(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]2 ( 2 ) result. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 979.55(9); b = 2221.5(1); c = 1523.1(2)pm; β = 100.33(1)° and Z = 2. In the central unit ClPd(μ‐Cl)2PdCl of the centrosymmetric anionic complex [(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]22— the coordination of the Pd atoms is completed by two nitrido bridges Re≡N‐Pd to nitrido complex fragments [(THF)Cl4Re≡N] forming a square‐planar arrangement for Pd(II). The distances in the linear nitrido bridges are Re‐N = 163.8(9)pm and Pd‐N = 191.5(9)pm.  相似文献

LiRuSn4, LiRhSn4, and LiIrSn4 were prepared by reaction of the elements in sealed tantalum ampoules at 1220 K. The tubes were subsequently annealed at 870 K for one week. The three stannides were investigated by X‐ray diffraction on powders and single crystals and the structures were refined from single crystal data: I4/mcm, a = 662.61(3), c = 1116.98(7) pm, wR2 = 0.0730, 283 F2 values for LiRuSn4, a = 658.73(5), c = 1136.4(1) pm, wR2 = 0.0532, 313 F2 values for LiRhSn4 and a = 657.34(5), c = 1130.4(1) pm, wR2 = 0.0343, 176 F2 values for LiIrSn4 with 11 variables for each refinement. LiRuSn4, LiRhSn4, and LiIrSn4 crystallize with a ternary ordered variant of the PdGa5 structure. The transition metal (T) atoms have a square antiprismatic tin environment and they form two‐dimensional [TSn4] polyanions with relatively short Ru—Sn (279 pm), Rh—Sn (280 pm), and Ir—Sn (280 pm) distances. The lithium atoms connect the polyanionic [TSn4] layers. They are located in square prismatic voids formed by tin atoms. The crystal chemistry and chemical bonding of these stannides is briefly discussed.  相似文献

Two Types (A and B) of Pr2Te[SiO4] Two forms of praseodymium(III) telluride ortho-silicate (Pr2Te[SiO4]) are obtained as light green, transparent single crystals (A type: bricks, B type: needles, both unsensitive to hydrolysis) from a CsCl melt by reacting Pr, TeO2 and SiO2 in stoichiometric ratios (950 °C, 10 d) in evacuated silica tubes. A-Pr2Te[SiO4] crystallizes orthorhombically (Pbcm; a = 633.70(3), b = 724.42(4), c = 1125.13(8) pm; Z = 4) with alternatingly arranged monolayers {(Pr2)Te}+ and {(Pr1)[SiO4]} parallel (001). Pr1 exhibits a coordination number of nine (6 O and 3 Te) while Pr2 has ten next neighbours (6 O and 4 Te), in which all the oxygen atoms are components of discrete ortho-silicate tetrahedra ([SiO4]4–), as also is the case in the B-type structure. The telluride anions show coordination numbers of seven (3 Pr1 and 4 Pr2). B-Pr2Te[SiO4] crystallizes monoclinically (P21/c; a = 989.90(7), b = 648.03(4), c = 870.68(6) pm, β = 94.307(8)°; Z = 4) with along [100] alternatingly sheethed double layers [{(Pr1)Te}2]2+ and [{(Pr2)[SiO4]}2]2–. This results in coordination numbers of eight (4 O and 4 Te) for Pr1, nine plus one (8 O and 1 + 1 Te) for Pr2, and five plus one (4 Pr1 and 1 + 1 Pr2) for Te. The almost 8% higher density of Pr2Te[SiO4] in the A-type structure (Dx = 6.45 g/cm3) compared to that of B-type Pr2Te[SiO4] (Dx = 5.98 g/cm3) is quite remarkable.  相似文献

Cs5Sb8 and β‐CsSb: Two New Binary Zintl Phases The anion in the crystal structure of the new Zintl phase Cs5Sb8 synthesized from the elements (monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 724.4(2) pm, b = 1135.2(3) pm, c = 2750.9(8) pm, β = 96.663(5)°, Z = 4) consists of two and three bonded Sb atoms, which are connected to form puckered nets with 5 and 28 membered rings. β‐CsSb (monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 1519.4(3) pm, b = 734.0(2) pm, c = 1432.2(2) pm, β = 113.661(3)°, Z = 4) crystallizes with a superstructure of the LiAs structure type. As in the α phase (NaP type), twobonded Sb atoms form neary ideal 41 screx chains. In contrast to the α phase the helices have opposite chirality.  相似文献

Air‐sensitive black crystals of the new compound [Mn(en)3]Te4 were synthesized by reacting MnCl2 · 4 H2O, K2Te3 and elemental Te in 1,2‐ethanediamine (en) under solvothermal conditions at 433 K. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with lattice parameters a = 839.51(7) pm, b = 1551.3(1) pm, c = 1432.6(1) pm, and β = 90.28(2)°. Isolated [Mn(en)3]2+ cations and Te42– anions are arranged in an alternating fashion parallel to the crystallographic b‐axis. One terminal Te atom of the Te42– anions exhibits a short intermolecular contact to a neighboured anion thus forming Te84– anions. A slightly longer interionic Te…Te separation is observed between two of the inner Te atoms of neighboured Te84– anions. Taking these longer separations into account infinite Te‐chains are formed running parallel to [001]. The intermolecular Te…Te interactions affect the Te–Te bond lengths within the Te42– anion leading to a lengthening of the average Te–Te distance. Short N–H…Te distances indicate hydrogen bonding between the cations and anions. DTA‐TG measurements show that at 441 K the material decomposes in one step. The resulting crystalline material consists of MnTe2 and Te.  相似文献

La3OCl[AsO3]2: A Lanthanum Oxide Chloride Oxoarsenate(III) with a “Lone‐Pair” Channel Structure La3OCl[AsO3]2 was prepared by the solid‐state reaction between La2O3 and As2O3 using LaCl3 and CsCl as fluxing agents in evacuated silica ampoules at 850 °C. The colourless crystals with pillar‐shaped habit crystallize tetragonally (a = 1299.96(9), c = 558.37(5) pm, c/a = 0.430) in the space group P42/mnm (no. 136) with four formula units per unit cell. The crystal structure contains two crystallographically different La3+ cations. (La1)3+ is coordinated by six oxygen atoms and two chloride anions in the shape of a bicapped trigonal prism (CN = 8), whereas (La2)3+ carries eight oxygen atoms and one Cl? anion arranged in the shape of tricapped trigonal prism (CN = 9). The isolated pyramidal [AsO3]3? anions (d(As–O) = 175–179 pm) consist of three oxygen atoms (O2 and two O3), which surround the As3+ cations together with the free, non‐binding electron pair (lone pair) Ψ1‐tetrahedrally (?(O–As–O) = 95°, 3×). One of the three crystallographically independent oxygen atoms (O1), however, is exclusively coordinated by four (La2)3+ cations in the shape of a real tetrahedron (d(O–La) = 236 pm, 4×). These [(O1)(La2)4]10+ tetrahedra form endless chains in the direction of the c axis through trans‐edge condensation. Empty channels, constituted by the lonepair electrons of the Cl? anions and the As3+ cations in the Ψ1‐tetrahedral oxoarsenate(III) anions [AsO3]3?, run parallel to [001] as well.  相似文献

The crystal structure determination (orthorhombic, P212121 (no. 19), Z = 8, a = 1166.3(1) pm, b = 1288.4(2) pm, c = 1493.9(2) pm, R = 0.043, Rw = 0.032) revealed the composition KEu(CH3COO)3. The structure consists of one-dimensional chains built up by bridging acetate groups in the [100] and [001] directions in which potassium and europium alternate as central atoms. Eu2+ is surrounded by nine and eight and K+ by seven and six oxygen atoms, respectively. These chains are linked in the [010] direction so that a three-dimensional network is formed. The high coordination numbers of the acetate oxygen atoms of up to four are remarkable. Therefore, the acetate groups have highly bridging functions in addition to their chelating coordination of the cations.  相似文献

Structural and Magnetochemical Studies on KCuGaF6 The crystal structure of KCuGaF6 was determined on the base of X‐ray single crystal data (wR2 = 0.084 for 2476 independent reflections). The compound crystallizes with a = 728.56(4), b = 989.51(6), c = 676.27(3) pm, β = 93.120(5)°, Z = 4 in space group P21/c of the pyrochlore related KCuCrF6 type. The octahedral coordinations [GaF6] and [CuF6] are slightly resp. strongly distorted (mean values Ga‐F: 188.2 pm resp. Cu‐F: 188.2/200.1/227.6 pm). The longest distances Ga‐F and the shortest ones Cu‐F are found within octahedral chains of these two kinds of atoms, running along [100] and [001], resp., and being mutually bridged as well (M‐F‐M in between 114 and 145°). The magnetic mole susceptibilities measured at powders and at a single crystal follow the isotropic Heisenberg model for S = 1/2, if effects of chain disrupture are considered in the form of some paramagnetic portion. No indication of threedimensional magnetic order is observed down to T = 2 K and low magnetic fields H < 100 G. KCuGaF6 (J/k = —71 K for the powder) is distinguished this way from the chain structure compounds KCuAlF6 und Na2CuScF7 (J/k = —76 resp. —59 K) which were also magnetically studied and yield similar antiferromagnetic exchange constants J/k.  相似文献

The title compounds were prepared by reacting the elements in an arc‐melting furnace and subsequent annealing. The LaRuSn3 type structure of the new compounds LnPtIn3 (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm) was refined from single crystal X‐ray data for LaPtIn3: Pm3n, a = 980.4(2) pm, wR2 = 0.0271, 399 F2 values, 15 variables. Striking structural motifs of LaPtIn3 are condensed distorted trigonal [PtIn6] prisms with Pt–In distances of 269 pm. The lanthanum atoms occupy large cavities within the polyhedral network. Besides Pt–In bonding In–In bonding also plays an important role in LaPtIn3 with In–In distances of 299 and 327 pm. The La1 position is occupied only to 91%, resulting in a composition La0.98(1)PtIn3. The La1 atoms show an extremely large displacement parameter indicating a rattling of these atoms in the In12 cages. The so far most indium rich compound in the ternary system lanthanum‐platinum‐indium is LaPtIn4 which was characterized on the basis of Guinier powder data: YNiAl4‐type, Cmcm, a = 455.1(2) pm, b = 1687.5(5) pm, and c = 738.3(2) pm. The platinum atoms in LaPtIn4 center trigonal prisms with the composition [La2In4]. Together with the indium atoms the platinum atoms form a complex three‐dimensional [PtIn4] polyanion in which the lanthanum atoms occupy large hexagonal tubes. The structure of Ce2Pt2In is confirmed: Mo2FeB2‐type, P4/mbm, a = 779.8(1) pm, c = 388.5(1) pm, wR2 = 0.0466, 433 F2 values, 12 parameters. It is built up from CsCl and AlB2 related slabs with the compositions CeIn and CePt2, respectively. Chemical bonding in the [PtIn3] and [PtIn4] polyanions of LaPtIn3 and LaPtIn4 is discussed.  相似文献
