M[B(CN)4]2: Two new Tetracyanoborate Compounds with divalent Cations (M = Zn, Cu) The reaction of ZnO or CuO with [H3O][B(CN)4] in aqueous solution yielded single crystals of Zn[B(CN)4]2 and Cu[B(CN)4]2, respectively. The compounds were characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Zn[B(CN)4]2 ( (no. 164), a = b = 7.5092(9) Å, c = 6.0159(6) Å, Z = 1) crystallizes isotypic with Hg[B(CN)4]2. The structure of Cu[B(CN)4]2 (C2/m (no. 12), a = 13.185(3) Å, b = 7.2919(9) Å, c = 6.029(1) Å, β = 93.02(2)°, Z = 2) can be considered as a super‐structure, resulting from Jahn‐Teller distortion of the Cu2+ ions. Magnetic measurements were performed for the copper compound. Vibrational spectra and thermal stabilities were compared with the known mercury(II) tetracyanoborate.  相似文献

Crystal Structures of Octacyanomolybdates(IV). IV Dodecahedral [Mo(CN)8] Coordination of the Cyano‐Bridged Cobalt and Nickel Ammin Complexes MII2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (MII = Co, Ni) and Ni2(NH3)9[Mo(CN)8] · 2 H2O At single crystals of the hydrated cyano complexes Co2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (a = 910.0(4), b = 1671(2), c = 1501(1) pm, β = 93.76(6)°) and Ni2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (a = 899.9(9), b = 1654.7(4), c = 1488(1) pm, β = 94.01°), isostructurally crystallizing in space group P21/c, Z = 4, and of trigonal Ni2(NH3)9[Mo(CN)8] · 2 H2O (a = 955.1(1), c = 2326.7(7) pm, P31, Z = 3), X‐ray structure determinations were performed at 168 resp. 153 K. The [Mo(CN)8]4– groups of the three compounds, prepared at about 275 K and easily decomposing, show but slightly distorted dodecahedral coordination (mean distances Mo–C: 216.3, 215.4 and 216.1 pm). Within the monoclinic complexes the anions twodimensionally form cyano bridges to the ammin cations [M(NH3)4]2+ and are connected with the resulting [MN6] octahedra (Co–N: 215.1 pm, Ni–N: 209.8 pm) into strongly puckered layers. The trigonal complex exhibits a chain structure, as one [Ni(NH3)5]2+ cation is only bound as terminal octahedron (Ni–N: 212.0 pm). Details and the influence of hydrogen bridges are discussed.  相似文献

For [Cu(en)2][Ni(CN)4] (a = 650.5(3), b = 729.0(3), c = 796.5(4) pm, α = 106.67(2), β = 91.46(3), γ = 106.96(2)°, P1, Z = 1) the results of a structure determination published earlier have been confirmed. The compound is weakly paramagnetic and obeys the Curie‐Weiss law in the range T < 100 K. The distances within the complex ions of the compounds investigated (Co–N: 195.7 and 196.4 pm, Ni–C: 186.4 and 186.9 pm, resp.) and their hydrogen bridge relations are discussed.  相似文献

Two Mercuric Ammoniates: [Hg(NH3)2][HgCl3]2 and [Hg(NH3)4](ClO4)2 [Hg(NH3)2][HgCl3]2 ( 1 ) is obtained by saturating an equimolar solution of HgCl2 and NH4Cl with Hg(NH2)Cl at 75 °C. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pmna with a = 591.9(1) pm, b = 800.3(1) pm, c = 1243.3(4) pm, Z = 2. The structure consists of linear cations [Hg(NH3)2]2+ and T‐shaped anions [HgCl3]. The coordination sphere of mercury is ?effectively”? completed to compressed hexagonal bipyramids and distorted octahedra, respectively. Single crystals of [Hg(NH3)4](ClO4)2 ( 2 ) are obtained by passing gaseous ammonia through a solution of mercuric perchlorate, while the solution was cooled to temperatures below 10 °C. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 791.52(9) pm, b = 1084.3(2) pm, c = 1566.4(2) pm, β = 120.352(1)°, Z = 4. The structure consists of compressed [Hg(NH3)4]2+ tetrahedra and perchlorate anions. The packing of the heavy atoms Hg and Cl is analogous to the baddeleyite (α‐ZrO2) type of structure.  相似文献

The novel thiodiphosphate, [Na(12‐crown‐4)2]2[P2S6] · CH3CN, bis[di(12‐crown‐4)sodium] hexathiodiphosphate(V) acetonitrile solvate ( 1 ) has been synthesized by the reaction of Na2[P2S6] with 12‐crown‐4 in dry acetonitrile. The title compound crystallizes in the tetragonal space group P42/mbc (no. 135), with a = 15.184(1) Å, c = 21.406(2) Å and Z = 4 and final R1 = 0.0671 and wR2 = 0.0809. The crystal structure is characterized by discrete sodium‐bound crown‐ether sandwich cations, [Na(12‐crown‐4)2]+ and [P2S6]2? ions with D2h symmetry. Sodium ion is coordinated by the eight oxygen atoms of two crown‐ether molecules to form a square antiprisma. Solvent molecules of CH3CN are statistically disordered. Distances and angles of the [P2S6]2? unit are similar to those in [K(18‐crown‐6)]2 [P2S6] · 2 CH3CN, and in K2[P2S6] and Cs2[P2S6]. The FT‐Raman and FT‐IR spectrum of the title compound has been recorded and interpreted, especially with respect to the P2S6 group and in comparison to the few known metal hexathiodiphosphates(V).  相似文献

Contributions on Crystal Structures and Thermal Behaviour of Anhydrous Phosphates. XXIII. Preparation, Crystal Structure, and Thermal Behaviour of the Mercury(I) Phosphates α-(Hg2)3(PO4)2, β-(Hg2)3(PO4)2, and (Hg2)2P2O7 Light-yellow single crystals of (Hg2)2P2O7 have been obtained via chemical vapour transport in a temperature gradient (500 °C → 450 °C, 23 d) using Hg2Cl2 as transport agent. Characteristic feature of the crystal structure (P2/n, Z = 2, a = 9,186(1), b = 4,902(1), c = 9,484(1) Å, β = 98,82(2)°, 1228 independent of 5004 reflections, R(F) = 0,066 for 61 variables, 7 atoms in the asymmetric unit) are Hg22+-units with d(Hg1–Hg1) = 2,508 Å and d(Hg2–Hg2) = 2,519 Å. The dumbbells Hg22+ are coordinated by oxygen, thus forming polyhedra [(Hg12)O4] and [(Hg22)O6]. These polyhedra share some oxygen atoms. In addition they are linked by the diphosphate anion P2O74– (ecliptic conformation; ∠(P,O,P) = 129°) to built up the 3-dimensional structure. Under hydrothermal conditions (T = 400 °C) orange single crystals of the mercury(I) orthophosphates α-(Hg2)3(PO4)2 and β-(Hg2)3(PO4)2 have been obtained from (Hg2)2P2O7 and H3PO4 (c = 1%). The crystal structures of both modifications have been refined from X-ray single crystal data [α-form (β-form): P21/c (P21/n), Z = 2 (2), a = 8,576(3) (7,869(3)), b = 4,956(1) (8,059(3)), c = 15,436(3) (9,217(4)) Å, β = 128,16(3) (108,76(4))°, 1218 (1602) independent reflections of 4339 (6358) reflections, R(F) = 0,039 (0,048) for 74 (74) variables, 8 (8) atoms in the asymmetric unit]. In the structure of α-(Hg2)3(PO4)2 three crystallographically independent mercury atoms, located in two independent dumbbells, are coordinated by three oxygen atoms each. Thus, [(Hg2)O6] dimers with a strongly distorted tetrahedral coordination of all mercury atoms are formed. Such dimers are present besides [(Hg2)O5]-polyhedra in the less dense crystal structure of β-(Hg2)3(PO4)2 (d(Hg–Hg) = 2,518 Å). The mercury(I) phosphates are thermally labile and disproportionate between 200 °C (β-(Hg2)3(PO4)2) and 480 °C (α-(Hg2)3(PO4)2) to elemental mercury and the corresponding mercury(II) phosphate.  相似文献

The Tetracyanoborates M[B(CN)4], M = [Bu4N]+, Ag+, K+ The tetracyanoborate anion is prepared for the first time as the tetrabutylammonium salt by the reaction of [NBu4]BX and BX3 (X = Br, Cl) in toluene with KCN. After purification and recrystallization of the product from CHCl3 colorless and needle size single crystals of [Bu4N][B(CN)4] are formed. After metathesis with AgNO3 the silver salt and subsequently with KBr the potassium salt is prepared. The three salts are characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction (Ag[B(CN)4] P 43m, a = 5.732(1) Å, V = 188.3 Å3, Z = 1, R1 = 0.75%; K[B(CN)4] I41/a, a = 6.976(1), c = 14.210(3) Å, V = 691.5 Å3, Z = 4, R1 = 1.90%; [Bu4N][B(CN)4] Pnna, a = 17.765(3), b = 11.650(2), c = 11.454(2) Å, V = 2370.5 Å3, Z = 4, R1 = 6.09%) and by NMR‐, IR‐, Raman‐ as well by UV‐spectroscopy.  相似文献

These new chalcogenoborates contain B12 icosahedra completely saturated with six trigonal-planar BSe3 entities functioning as bidentate ligands to form a persubstituted closo-dodecaborate anion. The two isotypic compounds Rb4Hg2[B12(BSe3)6] and Cs4Hg2[B12(BSe3)6] are the first selenoborate structures containing a transition metal which are characterized by single crystal diffraction.  相似文献

The reaction of dibenzenediselenide, (SePh)2, with mercury in refluxing xylene gives bis(benzeneselenolato)mercury(II), [Hg(SePh)2], in a good yield. (nBu4N)[Hg(SePh)3] is obtained by the reaction of [Hg(SePh)2] with a solution of [SePh] and (nBu4N)Br in ethanol. The solid state structures of both compounds have been determined by X-ray diffraction. The mercury atom in [Hg(SePh)2] (space group C2, a = 7.428(2), b = 5.670(1), c = 14.796(4) Å, β = 103.60(1)°) is linearly co-ordinated by two selenium atoms (Hg–Se = 2.471(2) Å, Se–Hg–Se = 178.0(3)°). Additional weak interactions between the metal and selenium atoms of neighbouring molecules (Hg…Se = 3.4–3.6 Å) associate the [Hg(SePh)2] units to layers. The crystal structure of (nBu4N)[Hg(SePh)3] (space group P21/c, a = 9.741(1), b = 17.334(1), c = 21.785(1) Å, β = 95.27(5)°) consists of discrete complex anions and (nBu4N)+ counter ions. The coordination geometry of mercury is distorted trigonal-planar with Hg–Se distances ranging between 2.5 and 2.6 Å.  相似文献

The title compounds, bis[1,2‐dicarba‐closo‐dodecaboran(12)‐1‐yl]mercury(II) dichloromethane solvate, [Hg(C2B10H11)2]·CH2Cl2, (I), and bis[1,12‐dicarba‐closo‐dodecaboran(12)‐1‐yl]mercury(II) tetrahydrofuran solvate, [Hg(C2B10H11)2]·C4H8O, (II), were prepared in excellent yields using a robust synthetic procedure involving the reaction of HgCl2 with the appropriate monolithiocarborane. X‐Ray analysis of the products revealed strong interactions between the Hg atoms in both complexes and the respective lattice solvent. The distances between the HgII centers and the Cl atoms of the dichloromethane solvent molecule in the ortho‐carborane derivative, (I), and the O atom of the tetrahydrofuran molecule in the para‐carborane complex, (II), are shorter than the sums of the van der Waals radii for Hg and Cl (3.53 Å), and Hg and O (3.13 Å), respectively, indicating moderately strong interactions. There are two crystallographically independent molecules in the asymmetric unit of both compounds, which, in each case, are related by differing relative positions of the cages.  相似文献

LiSr2[ReN4] and LiBa2[ReN4] – isotypic Nitridorhenates(VII) The quaternary nitridorhenates(VII) LiAE2[ReN4] (AE = Sr, Ba) were synthesized by reaction of the metals with molecular nitrogen at 850–900 °C. The plate‐like, nearly colourless crystals were investigated by X‐ray single crystal methods and were identified as isotypic phases: LiSr2[ReN4] (LiBa2[ReN4]); monoclinic, P21/m; a = 614.64(8) pm (651.04(12) pm), b = 585.97(6) pm (b = 598.86(9) pm), c = 689.70(17) pm (737.43(5) pm), β = 106.375(4)° (108.535(2)°); Z = 2. Crystals of the strontium compound were systematically twinned along [001]. In the crystal structures of the quaternary compounds the alkaline earth‐ and nitride‐ ions are arranged in the motif of the InNi2‐type structure. Strontium and barium are in a trigonal prismatic coordination by nitrogen (Sr–N: 261.0(7)–284.3(4) pm; Ba–N: 278.0(7)–303.0(6) pm). One half of the tetrahedral voids within the partial structure formed by stacking of trigonal prismatic rod layers is occupied by rhenium (formation of [ReVIIN4]5–‐tetrahedra; Re–N: 181.0(6)–184.5(8) pm), lithium takes the positions of the remaining tetrahedral sites (Li–N: 2 × 198(1) pm, 224(2) pm and 228(2) pm for the strontium phase). In the barium compound the lithium positions show a larger shift from the tetrahedral centres towards a tetrahedral plane (Li–N: 2 × 195(1) pm, 213(2) pm and 304(2) pm).  相似文献

The compound [Co(En)3]2[Hg2(H2O)Cl6]Cl4 (I, En is ethylenediamine) has been synthesized and studied by X-ray diffraction. [Hg2(H2O)Cl6]2? anions, and isolated chloride ions. The complex anion consists of the tetrahedral [HgCl4]2? group (Hg-Cl, 2.44–2.56 Å) and the hydrated molecule [Hg(H2O)Cl2] (Hg-Cl, 2.301 and 2.308 Å; Hg-O, 2.788 Å) combined by weak Hg-Cl interactions (2.915 and 3.220 Å).  相似文献

A three‐dimensional cyano‐bridged copper(II) complex, [Cu(dien)Ag(CN)2]2[Ag2(CN)3][Ag(CN)2] ( 1 ) (dien = diethylenetriamine), has been prepared and characterized by X‐ray crystallography. Complex 1 crystallized in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 6.988(2), b = 17.615(6), c = 12.564(4) Å, β = 90.790(5)°. The crystal consists of cis‐[Cu(dien)]2+ units bridged by [Ag(CN)2] to form a zig‐zag chain. The Ag atoms of the free and bridging [Ag(CN)2] link together to form additional infinite zig‐zag chains with short Ag···Ag distances. The presence of Ag···Ag interactions effectively increases the dimensionality from a 1‐D chain to a 3‐D coordination polymer.  相似文献

Synthesis and Spectroscopic Characterization of [Rh(SeCN)6]3– and trans ‐[Rh(CN)2(SeCN)4]3–, Crystal Structure of (Me4N)3[Rh(SeCN)6] Treatment of RhCl3 with KSeCN in acetone yields a mixture of selenocyanato‐rhodates(III), from which [Rh(SeCN)6]3– and trans‐[Rh(CN)2(SeCN)4]3– have been isolated by ion exchange chromatography on diethylaminoethyl cellulose. The X‐ray structure determination on a single crystal of (Me4N)3[Rh(SeCN)6] (trigonal, space group R3, a = 14.997(2), c = 24.437(3) Å, Z = 6) reveals, that the compound crystallizes isotypically to (Me4N)3[Ir(SCN)6]. The exclusively via Se coordinated selenocyanato ligands are bonded with the average Rh–Se distance of 2.490 Å and the Rh–Se–C angle of 104.6°. In the low temperature IR and Raman spectra the metal ligand stretching modes ν(RhSe) of (n‐Bu4N)3[Rh(SeCN)6] ( 1 ) and trans‐(n‐Bu4N)3[Rh(CN)2(SeCN)4] ( 2 ) are in the range of 170–250 cm–1. In 2 νas(CRhC) is observed at 479 cm–1. The vibrational spectra are assigned by normal coordinate analysis based on the molecular parameters of the X‐ray determination. The valence force constants are fd(RhSe) = 1.08 ( 1 ), 1.10 ( 2 ) and fd(RhC) = 3.14 mdyn/Å ( 2 ). fd(RhS) = 1.32 mdyn/Å is determined for [Rh(SCN)6]3–, which has not been calculated so far. The 103Rh NMR resonances are 2287 ( 1 ), 1680 ppm ( 2 ) and the 77Se NMR resonances are –32.7 ( 1 ) and –110.7 ppm ( 2 ). The Rh–C bonding of the cyano ligand in 2 is confirmed by a dublett in the 13C NMR spectrum at 136.3 ppm.  相似文献

Chromium Hexacyano Complexes: The Crystal Structures of the Cyano Elpasolites (NMe4)2ACr(CN)6 (A = K, Cs) and of the Cubic Barium Compound Ba3[Cr(CN)6]2 · 20 H2O The crystal structures of the cyano elpasolites (NMe4)2KCr(CN)6 (a = 1527.3(1), b = 888.1(1), c = 1539.0(1) pm, β = 109.92(1)°; C2/c, Z = 4) and (NMe4)2CsCr(CN)6 (a = 1278.9(1) pm; Fm3m, Z = 4), as well as of the cubic compound Ba3[Cr(CN)6]2 · 20 H2O (a = 1631.0(1) pm; Im3m, Z = 4) were determined by X‐ray methods with single crystals. Reasons for the enlarged distances within the [Cr(CN)6]3–‐octahedron of the K compound (Cr–C: 209.3 pm) compared to the observations within both cubic complexes (206.1 resp. 206.9 pm) are discussed in context with the tolerance factors of cyano elpasolites. As is the case there concerning the cyano bridges Cr–CN–A towards the alkali ions the novel structure type of the barium compound, too, exhibits nearly linear bridging towards Ba. It contributes, however, only four N ligands to the ninefold [BaN4O5] coordination; part of the aqua ligands show disorder (Ba–N: 287.5, Ba–O: 281/293 pm).  相似文献
