Production and Decomposition of (NH4)[BF4] and H3N‐BF3 (NH4)[BF4] is produced as single crystals during the reaction of elemental boron and NH4HF2 (B : NH4HF2 = 1 : 2) and NH4F (B : NH4F = 1 : 4), respectively, in sealed copper ampoules at 300 °C. The crystal structure (baryte type, orthorhombic, Pnma, Z = 4) was redetermined at ambient temperature (a = 909.73(18), b = 569.77(10), c = 729.47(11) pm, Rall = 0.0361) and at 140 K (a = 887.3(2), b = 574.59(12), c = 717.10(12) pm, Rall = 0.0321). Isolated (NH4)+ and [BF4] tetrahedra are the important building units. The thermal behaviour of (NH4)[BF4] was investigated under inert (Ar, N2) and reactive conditions (NH3) with the aid of DTA/TG and DSC measurements and with in‐situ X‐ray powder diffraction as well. Finally, (NH4)[BF4] is decomposed yielding NH3 and BF3, BN is not produced under the current conditions. Colourless single crystals of H3N‐BF3 were prepared directly from the components NH3 and BF3. The crystal structure was determined anew at 293 and 170 K (orthorhombic, Pbca, Z = 8, a = 815.12(10), b = 805.91(14), c = 929.03(12) pm, Rall = 0.0367; a = 807.26(13), b = 800.48(10), c = 924.31(11) pm, Rall = 0.0292, T = 170 K). The crystal structure contains isolated molecules H3N‐BF3 in staggered conformation with a B‐N distance of 158 pm. The thermal behaviour of H3N‐BF3 was studied likewise.  相似文献

Two Mercuric Ammoniates: [Hg(NH3)2][HgCl3]2 and [Hg(NH3)4](ClO4)2 [Hg(NH3)2][HgCl3]2 ( 1 ) is obtained by saturating an equimolar solution of HgCl2 and NH4Cl with Hg(NH2)Cl at 75 °C. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pmna with a = 591.9(1) pm, b = 800.3(1) pm, c = 1243.3(4) pm, Z = 2. The structure consists of linear cations [Hg(NH3)2]2+ and T‐shaped anions [HgCl3]. The coordination sphere of mercury is ?effectively”? completed to compressed hexagonal bipyramids and distorted octahedra, respectively. Single crystals of [Hg(NH3)4](ClO4)2 ( 2 ) are obtained by passing gaseous ammonia through a solution of mercuric perchlorate, while the solution was cooled to temperatures below 10 °C. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 791.52(9) pm, b = 1084.3(2) pm, c = 1566.4(2) pm, β = 120.352(1)°, Z = 4. The structure consists of compressed [Hg(NH3)4]2+ tetrahedra and perchlorate anions. The packing of the heavy atoms Hg and Cl is analogous to the baddeleyite (α‐ZrO2) type of structure.  相似文献

Studies on Polyhalides. III. Crystal Structures of [Cu(NH3)4I2 · I2] and [Cu(NH3)4I3]I3 Tetramminecopper(II)tetraiodide [Cu(NH3)4I2 · I2] (I) crystallizes monoclinically in the space group C2/m with a = 1 185.9 pm, b = 892.8 pm, c = 656.8 pm, β = 111.10° and Z = 2 formula units. Tetramminecopper(II)hexaiodide [Cu(NH3)4I3]I3 (II) crystallizes orthorhombically in the space group Pnnm with a = 874.9 pm, b = 1 089.8 pm, c = 885.3 pm, and Z = 2 formula units. A special feature of these structures are coordinated polyiodide ions I42? (I) or I3? (II). In both compounds four coplanar nitrogen atoms and two axial iodine atoms form a quasi-octahedral coordination around copper with the usual (4+2)-tetragonal distortion. The copper ions are connected by linear, centrosymmetric polyiodide ions I42? (I) or I3? (II). Therefore infinite planar zigzag chains of units [Cu(NH3)4I4] (I) or [Cu(NH3)4I3]+(II) are resulting. The counterion I3? (II) is intercalated between these chains.  相似文献

Crystal Structures of Octacyanomolybdates(IV). IV Dodecahedral [Mo(CN)8] Coordination of the Cyano‐Bridged Cobalt and Nickel Ammin Complexes MII2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (MII = Co, Ni) and Ni2(NH3)9[Mo(CN)8] · 2 H2O At single crystals of the hydrated cyano complexes Co2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (a = 910.0(4), b = 1671(2), c = 1501(1) pm, β = 93.76(6)°) and Ni2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (a = 899.9(9), b = 1654.7(4), c = 1488(1) pm, β = 94.01°), isostructurally crystallizing in space group P21/c, Z = 4, and of trigonal Ni2(NH3)9[Mo(CN)8] · 2 H2O (a = 955.1(1), c = 2326.7(7) pm, P31, Z = 3), X‐ray structure determinations were performed at 168 resp. 153 K. The [Mo(CN)8]4– groups of the three compounds, prepared at about 275 K and easily decomposing, show but slightly distorted dodecahedral coordination (mean distances Mo–C: 216.3, 215.4 and 216.1 pm). Within the monoclinic complexes the anions twodimensionally form cyano bridges to the ammin cations [M(NH3)4]2+ and are connected with the resulting [MN6] octahedra (Co–N: 215.1 pm, Ni–N: 209.8 pm) into strongly puckered layers. The trigonal complex exhibits a chain structure, as one [Ni(NH3)5]2+ cation is only bound as terminal octahedron (Ni–N: 212.0 pm). Details and the influence of hydrogen bridges are discussed.  相似文献

As a by‐product the phosphaneimine complex [BeCl2(HNPPh3)2] ( 1 ) can be isolated, which reacts with pyridine to give the ionic complex [BeCl(HNPPh3)2(Py)]Cl ( 2 ). From CH2Cl2 solutions only the amino‐phosphonium salt [(C7H7)3PNH2]Cl ( 4 ) can be obtained. Synthesis and Structure of Ammine and Amido Complexes of Iridium The reaction of (NH4)2[IrCl6] with NH4Cl at 300 °C in a sealed glass ampoule yields the iridium(III) ammine complex (NH4)2[Ir(NH3)Cl5], which crystallizes isotypically with K2[Ir(NH3)Cl5] in the orthorhombic space group Pnma with Z = 4, and a = 1350.0(2); b = 1028.5(3); c = 689.6(2) pm. The reaction of (NH4)2[IrCl6] with NH3 at 300 °C, however, gives the already known [Ir(NH3)5Cl]Cl2 beside a small amount of [Ir(NH3)4Cl2]Cl2. In pure form [Ir(NH3)5Cl]Cl2 is obtained by ammonolysis of (NH4)2[Ir(NH3)Cl5] at 300 °C with NH3. [Ir(NH3)4Cl2]Cl2 crystallizes triclinic (P1, Z = 1, a = 660,2(3); b = 680,4(3); c = 711,1(2) pm; α = 103,85(2)°, β = 114,54(3)°, γ = 112,75(2)°). The structure contains Cl anions and [Ir(NH3)4Cl2]2+ cations with a trans position of the Cl atoms. Upon reaction of [Ir(NH3)5Cl]Cl2 with Cl2 one ammine ligand is eliminated yielding [Ir(NH3)4Cl2]Cl, which is transformed to orthorhombic [Ir(NH3)4(OH2)Cl]Cl2 (Pnma, Z = 4, a = 1335,1(3); b = 1047,9(2); c = 673,4(2) pm) by crystallization from water. In the octahedral complex [Ir(NH3)4(OH2)Cl]2+ the four ammine ligands have an equatorial position, whereas the Cl atom and the aqua ligand are arranged axial. Oxidation of (NH4)2[Ir(NH3)Cl5] with Cl2 at 330 °C affords the tetragonal IrIV complex (NH4)[Ir(NH3)Cl5] (P4nc, Z = 2, a = 702.68(5); c = 912.89(9) pm). Its structure was determined using the powder diagram. Oxidation of (NH4)2[Ir(NH3)Cl5] with Br2 in water, on the other hand, gives (NH4)2[IrBr6] crystallizing in the K2[PtCl6] type. Oxidation of (PPh4)2[Ir(NH3)Cl5] with PhI(OAc)2 in CH2Cl2 affords the IrV amido complex (PPh4)[Ir(NH2)Cl5].  相似文献

Preparation, Raman Spectra, and Crystal Structures of V2O3(SO4)2, K[VO(SO4)2], and NH4[VO(SO4)2] The oxo-sulfato-vanadates(V) V2O3(SO4)2, K[VO(SO4)2], and NH4[VO(SO4)2] have been prepared as crystals suitable for X-ray structure determination. In all structures sulfate acts as an unidentate ligand only toward a single vanadium atom. The structure of V2O3(SO4)2 consists of a threedimensional network of pairs of cornershared VO6 octahedra with one terminal oxygen atom each, and SO4 tetrahedra. All oxygen atoms of the sulfate ions are coordinated. NH4[VO(SO4)2] and K[VO(SO4)2] are isostructural. VO6 octahedra with one terminal oxygen atom and pairs of sulfate tetrahedra form infinite chains by corner sharing. The chains are weakly interlinked to layers. The sulfate ions are distorted towards planar SO3 molecules and single oxygen atoms attached to vanadium. This structural detail gives an explanation for the mechanism of the reversible reaction K[VO(SO4)2] ? K[VO2(SO4)] + SO3 at 400°C. Raman spectra of the compounds have been recorded and interpreted with respect to their structures. Synthesis, Vibrational Spectra, and Crystal Structures of the Nitrato Argentates (Ph4P)[Ag(NO3)2(CH3CN)]·CH3CN and (Ph4P)[Ag2(NO3)3] Tetraphenylphosphonium bromide reacts in acetonitril suspension with excess silver nitrate to give (Ph4P)[Ag(NO3)2(CH3CN)]·CH3CN ( 1 ), whereas (Ph4P)[Ag2(NO3)3] ( 2 ) is obtained in a long‐time reaction from (Ph4P)Br and excess AgNO3 in dichloromethane suspension. Both complexes were characterized by vibrational spectroscopy (IR, Raman) and by single crystal structure determinations. 1 : Space group P21/c, Z = 4, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 1781.5(3), b = 724.8(1), c = 2224.2(3) pm, β = 96.83(1)°, R1 = 0.0348. 1 contains isolated complex units [Ag(NO3)2(CH3CN)]?, in which the silver atom is coordinated by the chelating nitrate groups and by the nitrogen atom of the solvated CH3CN molecule with a short Ag—N distance of 220.7(4) pm. 2 : Space group I2, Z = 4, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a = 1753.4(4), b = 701.7(1), c = 2105.5(4) pm, R1 = 0.072. In the polymeric anions [Ag2(NO3)3]? each silver atom is coordinated in a chelating manner by one nitrate group and by two oxygen atoms of two bridging nitrate ions. In addition, each silver atom forms a weak π‐bonding contact with a phenyl group of the (Ph4P)+ ions with shortest Ag···C separations of 266 and 299 pm, respectively, indicating a (4+1) coordination of silver atoms.  相似文献

New Phosphoraneiminato Complexes of Molybdenum and Tungsten. Crystal Structures of [(μ‐S2N2){MoCl4(NPPh3)}2], [Mo(NPPh3)4][BF4]2, [W(S)2(NPPh3)2], and [Ph3PNH2]+[SCN] The binuclear molybdenum(V)phosphoraneiminato complex [(μ‐S2N2){MoVCl4(NPPh3)}2] ( 1 ) has been prepared by the reaction of the chlorothionitreno complex [MoVICl4(NSCl)]2 with Me3SiNPPh3 in dichloromethane forming green crystals. The temperature dependent magnetic susceptibility in the range of 2–30 K shows ideal behaviour according to the Curie law with a magnetic moment of 1.60 B.M. According to the crystal structure determination 1 forms centrosymmetric molecules in which the molybdenum atoms are connected by the nitrogen atoms of the S2N2 molecule. In trans‐position to it the nitrogen atoms of the phosphoraneiminato groups (NPPh3) are coordinated with Mo–N bond lengths of 171(1) pm. The tetrakis(phosphoraneiminato) complex [Mo(NPPh3)4]‐ [BF4]2 ( 2 ) has been obtained as colourless crystal needles by the reaction of MoN(NPPh3)3 with boron trifluoride etherate in toluene solution. In the dication the molybdenum atom is tetrahedrally coordinated by the nitrogen atoms of the (NPPh3) groups with Mo–N bond lengths of 179,8–181,0(3) pm. The dithio‐bis(phosphoraneiminato) tungsten complex [W(S)2(NPPh3)2] ( 3 ) is formed as yellow crystals as well as [Ph3PNH2]+[SCN] ( 4 ) from the reaction of WN(NPPh3)3 with carbon disulfide in tetrahydrofurane in the presence of traces of water. 3 has a monomeric molecular structure with tetrahedrally coordinated tungsten atom with bond lengths W–S of 214.5(5) pm and W–N of 179(1) pm. In the structure of 4 the thiocyanate ions are associated by hydrogen bonds of the NH2 group of the [Ph3PNH2]+ ion to give a zigzag chain. 1 : Space group Pbca, Z = 4, lattice constants at –80 °C: a = 1647.9(3), b = 1460.8(2), c = 1810.4(4) pm; R1 = 0.0981. 2 : Space group P1, Z = 2, lattice constants at –80 °C: a = 1162.5(1), b = 1238.0(1), c = 2346.2(2) pm; α = 103.14(1)°, β = 90.13(1)°, γ = 97.66(1)°; R1 = 0.0423. 3 : Space group Fdd2, Z = 8, lattice constants at –80 °C: a = 3310.1(4), b = 2059.7(2), c = 966,7(1) pm; R1 = 0.0696. 4 : Space group P212121, Z = 4, lattice constants at –80 °C: a = 1118.4(1), b = 1206.7(1), c = 1279.9(1) pm; R1 = 0.0311.  相似文献

Zincselenide- and Zinctellurideclusters with Phenylselenolate- and Phenyltellurolateligands. The Crystal Structures of [NEt4]2[Zn4Cl4(SePh)6], [NEt4]2[Zn8Cl4Se(SePh)12], [Zn8Se(SePh)14(PnPr3)2], [HPnPr2R]2[Zn8Cl4Te(TePh)12] (R = nPr, Ph), and [Zn10Te4(TePh)12(PR3)2] (R = nPr, Ph) In the prescence of NEt4Cl ZnCl2 reacts with PhSeSiMe3 or a mixture of PhSeSiMe3/Se(SiMe3)2 to form the ionic complexes [NEt4]2[Zn4Cl4(SePh)6] 1 or [NEt4]2[Zn8Cl4Se(SePh)12] 2 respectively. The use of PnPr3 instead of the quarternary ammonia salt leads in toluene to the formation of crystalline [Zn8Se(SePh)14(PnPr3)2] 3 . Reactions of ZnCl2 with PhTeSiMe3 and tertiary phosphines result in acetone in crystallisation of the ionic clusters [HPnPr2R]2[Zn8Cl4Te(TePh)12] (R = nPr 4 , Ph 5 ) and in THF of the uncharged [Zn10Te4(TePh)12(PR3)2] (R = nPr 6 , Ph 7 ). Ag/CuI Mixed Occupancy in the Crystal Structures of the Copper(II) Cyanoargentates Cu(NH3)(py)Ag3?xCux(CN)5 · py From pyridine and ammonia containing CuII solutions, to which K[Ag(CN)2] and in part KCu(CN)2/KCN has been added, we obtained single crystals of mixed-valent copper compounds of variable composition Cu(NH3)-(py)Ag3-xCux(CN)5 · py. The phases corresponding to x = 0.39(1) ( I ) and to x = 1.243(6) ( II ) were characterized by X-ray structure analysis. They are isomorphous and crystallize with Z = 4 in the monoclinic space group P21/c. The lattice constants for I [and II , resp.] are: a = 923.8(2) [901.4(2)], b = 1226.8(2) [1227.3(2)], c = 1809.8(4) [1783.5(2)] pm, β = 91.41(3) [91.02(1)]°. The CuII cation shows trigonal bipyramidal [CuN5] coordination, with the neutral ligands in axial positions (mean value Cu? N for II : 201 pm), three N atoms of cyano bridges in equatorial ones (Cu? N: 206 pm). One of these bridges stems from a trigonal unit [AgCN(NC)2], the central atom of which is substituted by CuI to an extent of 39% in I , and completely in II . The two other bridges originate from two [Ag(CN)2]? groups, of which the more bent one may be partially occupied by CuI as well (24% in II ). The units mentioned are connected into meshes of elongated hexagons and further into puckered layers within the (010) plane, interpenetrating each other in pairs. A threedimensional linking of layers occurs by the trigonal Ag/CuI species forming centrosymmetric dimers, in which the metal coordination is completed to tetrahedral by a C-atom of the corresponding neighbouring group and short metal-metal distances of 279.1(3) pm in I and 264.1(1) pm in II appear. Details and relations are discussed.  相似文献
