The damage characteristics of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) have been studied under bombardment by C60+, Au3+ and Au+ primary ions. The observed damage cross-sections for the three ion beams are not dramatically different. The secondary ion yields however were significantly enhanced by the polyatomic primary ions where the secondary ion yield of the [M + H]+ is on average 5× higher for C60+ than Au3+ and 8× higher for Au3+ than Au+. Damage accumulates under Au+ and Au3+ bombardment while C60+ bombardment shows a lack of damage accumulation throughout the depth profile of the PET thick film up to an ion dose of ∼1 × 1015 ions cm−2. These properties of C60+ bombardment suggest that the primary ion will be a useful molecular depth profiling tool.  相似文献

The ro-vibrational spectrum of the weak (4, 6) hot band in the comet-tail (A2Πi-X2Σ+) system of CO+ is observed by employing optical heterodyne and magnetic rotation enhanced velocity modulation spectroscopy. One hundred and twenty-four spectral lines are assigned to this band; thus, precise molecular constants of the levels involved are obtained from a weighted nonlinear least-squares fitting procedure combining with our previous spectrum of the (3, 6) band.  相似文献

Ro-vibrational spectrum of the (1, 4) band in the comet-tail system of CO+ cation is observed employing the optical heterodyne and magnetic rotation enhanced velocity modulation spectroscopy in the range of 13 189-13 472 cm−1. Two hundred and eighteen spectral lines are assigned to 12 branches of this band for the first time, thus, precise molecular constants of the levels involved are obtained by nonlinear least-squares fitting procedure combining with our previous spectrum of the (1, 2) band.  相似文献

In the electronic emission spectrum of the 12C16O+ molecule, 11 bands of the Comet-Tail (A2Πi-X2Σ+) system have been recorded and analyzed. Spin splitting in most of the observed lines of the 0-2, 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-0, 4-0, 4-2, 6-0, 7-0, 7-1, and 8-1 bands, comprising nearly 3400 lines, has been recorded under high resolution by conventional spectroscopy. The rotational analysis of bands has been performed by nonlinear least-squares procedures and by means of effective Hamiltonians of Brown et al. and the rovibronic structure parameters have been obtained. The data of bands of the A-X system and earlier analyzed bands of the B-X and B-A systems have been merged together. As a result of this global fit, the state of information about the energy structure has been significantly enlarged for the A state and enlarged and improved for the X state. Also RKR potential curves for both states and Franck-Condon factors as well as r-centroids of the Comet-Tail system of CO+ have been calculated.  相似文献

Thirty-four rovibronic spectral lines of the Ω=1/2 component of the (4, 8) band in the A-X system of 35Cl2+ were observed in the range of 16,940-17,010 cm−1, employing optical heterodyne-enhanced velocity modulation spectroscopy. Nonlinear least-squares fitting the effective Hamiltonians results in precise band origin and other molecular constants of the levels involved.  相似文献

This study deals with the secondary ion yield improvement induced by using C60+ primary ions instead of Ga+ ones to characterize human hair surfaces by ToF-SIMS. For that purpose, a bunch of hair fibres has been analysed with both ion sources. A high improvement is observed for the detection of amino acids with C60+ primary ions as compared to Ga+ ions. As an example, a yield enhancement factor greater than 3000 is found for the CNO peak. A similar gain is observed for the positive secondary ions characteristic of the amino acids. Most of the atomic ions, such as Ca+, O and S, constitute minor peaks with C60+ ions while they often dominate the spectrum in the case of Ga+ ions. However, with the C60+ source, a series of inorganic combination peaks with the elements Ca, S and O are observed in the positive spectra (i.e. HCaSO4+), while they are marginal with the Ga+ source. For the mass range beyond 100 m/z and in both polarities, the hair fingerprints are similar with both sources. In average, for a comparable number of primary ions per spectrum, the C60+ ion source gives intensities between two and three orders of magnitude higher than the Ga+ one.  相似文献

TheA 2 Π ustate of O2 + was earlier established as an inverted state contrary to previous assumptions. The rotational analysis of a few more bands of theA-X system of O2 + has now been completed. These studies show that the spin-orbit coupling constantA in theA 2 Π ustate gradually varies with the vibrational quantum numberν and is found to be positive forν⩾6. It has also been observed that the spia-rotation interaction is not negligible in theA 2 Π ustate. The spin splitting constantγ is reported for various vibrational levels of this electronic state.  相似文献

This work investigates the origin of novel visible photoluminescence (PL) bands observed in the spinel MgAl2O4:Co2+. Besides the well-known fourfold-coordinated Co2+(Td) PL at 670 nm [N.V. Kuleshov, V.P. Mikhailov, V.G. Scherbitsky, P.V. Prokoshin and K.V. Yumashev, J. Lumin. 55 (1993) 265.], a rich structured PL band at 686 nm was also observed that we associate with uncontrolled impurities of sixfold coordinated Cr3+(Oh) by time-resolved spectroscopy and lifetime measurements and their variation with temperature. We also show that the lifetime of the Co2+(Td) emission at 670 nm varies from τ=6.7 μs to 780 ns on passing from T=10 to 290 K. This unexpected behaviour for Td systems is related to the excited-state crossover (4T12E), making the emission band to transform from a narrow-like emission from 2E at low temperature to a broad structureless band from 4T1 at room temperature.  相似文献

An enhancement in NIR luminescence from Nd3+-doped Ce3+ co-doped SiO2+Al2O3 sol–gel glasses has been observed. The lasing transition (4F3/24I11/2) at 1072 nm from the dual rare-earth Nd3++Ce3+-doped glasses has shown an emission strength of about five times that of the single rare-earth ion Nd3+-doped glass. From the measurement of lifetimes of the transition at 1072 nm, the transfer rate (Wtr), critical distance (R0) and energy transfer efficiency (η) of the neodymium glasses have been calculated.  相似文献

三基色荧光粉中, 红色荧光粉性能较差, 为获得性能优良的红色荧光粉, 本文采用高温固相法合成了Eu2+, Cr3+单掺杂及共掺杂的碱土金属多铝酸盐MAl12O19 (M =Ca, Sr, Ba) 发光体. 实验表明, 在以上三种基质中均存在Eu2+→Cr3+的能量传递, 利用能量传递可以有效将Eu2+的蓝光或绿光转换为红光. 三种碱土金属多铝酸盐基质的晶体结构相似,但Eu2+, Cr3+发光受晶体场影响,导致在不同的基质中Eu2+, Cr3+间能量传递效率不同.通过光谱分析及能量传递效率计算发现, 相同掺杂浓度下,CaAl12O19中Eu2+→Cr3+的能量传递效率最高,SrAl12O19次之, BaAl12O19最低.红光转换率在CaAl12O19中最高.  相似文献

We report muon spin relaxation (μ+SR) studies on the magnetic phase diagram of Ce(Cu1-xNix)2Ge2 polycrystals for 0.5≤ x ≤ 0.8. A sharp magnetic transition, evidenced by the appearance of a fast Gaussian relaxation component σ, has been observed in the x = 0.5 alloy at 4.0 K in zero applied field. The average local field < Bμ> at the stopping sites of the muons, extracted from σ, exhibits a linear temperature dependence. We associate these features with an incommensurate spin density wave (SDW) ordering. Magnetic ordering, either long range or short range, and signatures of non-Fermi liquid behaviour have not been observed down to 2.0 K at x = 0.8. Abstract

The tetragonal distortions of local octahedral environments of Cr3+, Fe3+ and Gd3+ ions in Rb2CdF4, Cs2CdF4, RbCdF3 and CsCdF3 crystals have been studied by analyzing their EPR spectra. From the studies, it is found that the tetragonal distortions for Cr3+ and Fe3+ impurity ions, which substitute Cd2+ and have nearly the same ionic radius, are close to each other, whereas that for Gd3+ impurity ion, having a larger ionic radius, is larger than those for Cr3+ and Fe3+ ions in the same crystal. It appears that not only the impurity-ligand distance, but also the tetragonal distortions of impurity centres in crystals are closely related to the size of impurity.  相似文献

Abstract

On radiolysis tris(acetylacetonato) cobalt(III) in aqueous solutions is found to get reduced by reaction with (1) hydrated electrons, (2) H atoms, (3) OH radicals and (4) C2H2OH radicals. The bimolecular rate constants for the first three reactions, determined by competition kinetics are: 4 × 1010, 2.3 × 109 and 4.7 × 109 M?1sec?1 respectively. Absorption spectra of the irradiated solutions indicate the formation of bis(acetylacetonato) cobalt(II) from reaction (1), but not from (3). The total cobaltous yield in air-free solutions is given byG(Co++) = 5.6 and 6.5 at pH 6.5 and 1 respectively. It appears that Geaq- ∽ H + GoH ∽ 2.8 in neutral solutions. Considerations of material balance for the primary yields of radiolysis of water suggest the possibility that the so-called independent H-atoms in neutral solutions are probably excited water molecules or ion-pairs.  相似文献

The improper ferroelastic phase letovicite (NH4)3H(SO4)2 has been studied by 1H MAS NMR as well as by static 14N NMR experiments in the temperature range of 296–425 K. The 1H MAS NMR resonance from ammonium protons can be well distinguished from that of acidic protons. A third resonance appears just below the phase transition temperature which is due to the acidic protons in the paraelastic phase. The lowering of the second moment M2 for the ammonium protons takes place in the same temperature range as the formation of domain boundaries, while the signals of the acidic protons suffer a line narrowing in the area of Tc. The static 14N NMR spectra confirm the temperature of the motional changes of the ammonium tetrahedra. Two-dimensional 1H NOESY spectra indicate a chemical exchange between ammonium protons and the acidic protons of the paraphase.  相似文献

Experiences obtained from recent improvements in the performance of solid-state (14)N MAS NMR spectroscopy have been used in a natural abundance (33)S MAS NMR investigation of the satellite transitions for this interesting spin I=3/2 isotope. This study reports the first observation of manifolds of spinning sidebands for these transitions in (33)S MAS NMR as observed for the two alums XAl(SO(4))(2) x 12H(2)O with X=NH(4) and K. For the NH(4)-alum a variable temperature (33)S MAS NMR study, employing the satellite transitions, shows that the (33)S quadrupole coupling constant (C(Q)) exhibits a linear temperature dependence (in the range -35 degrees C to 70 degrees C) with a temperature gradient of 3.1 kHz/ degrees C and undergoes a sign change with zero-crossing for C(Q) at 4 degrees C (277 K). For the isostructural K-alum a quite similar increase in the magnitude of C(Q) with increasing temperature is observed, and with a temperature gradient of 2.3 kHz/ degrees C. Finally, for optimization purposes, a study on the effect of the applied pulse widths at constant rf field strength on the intensity and variation in second-order quadrupolar lineshape for the central (1/2<-->-1/2) transition of the K-alum has been performed.  相似文献

The widely used energy transfer theory is a foundation of luminescence,in which the rates of Stokes and antiStokes processes have the same calculation formula.An improvement on the anti-Stokes energy transfer to explain the fluorescence intensity reversal between the red and green fluorescence of Er(0.5)Yb(9.5):FOV is reported in the present article.The range of the intensity reversal Σ was measured to be 877.Dynamic processes for 16 levels were simulated.A coefficient,the improvement factor of the intensity ratio of Stokes to anti-Stokes processes in quantum Raman theory compared to classical Raman theory,is introduced to successfully describe the anti-Stokes energy transfer.A new method to calculate the distance between the rare earth ions,which is critical for the energy transfer calculation,is proposed.The validity of these important improvements is also proved by experiment.  相似文献

We deduce new expressions for g-factors of the 3d9 ions with a compressional tetragonal symmetry, in which we consider not only the contribution from the spin-orbit coupling of the central transition metal ion but also that of the ligand orbits as well as the admixture of 2B1g into 2A1g (ground state). By using the new formulae, the electron paramagnetic resonance g-factors for NaCl:Ni+(I) are studied. Thus, the puzzle that the g-shift is positive is reasonably explained.  相似文献
