Metal Salts of Benzene‐1,2‐di(sulfonyl)amine. 4. Hydrophobically Wrapped Two‐Dimensional Polymers: Crystal Structures of the Isostructural Metal Complexes [M{C6H4(SO2)2N}(H2O)] (M = K, Rb) and of the Structurally Related Ammonium Salt [(NH4){C6H4(SO2)2N}(H2O)] The previously unreported compounds KZ · H2O ( 1 ), RbZ · H2O ( 2 ) and NH4Z · H2O ( 3 ), where Z is Ndeprotonated ortho‐benzenedisulfonimide, are examples of layered inorgano‐organic solids, in which the inorganic component is comprised of metal or ammonium cations, N(SO2)2 groups and water molecules and the outer regions are formed by the planar benzo rings of the anions. The metal complexes 1 and 2 were found to be strictly isostructural, whereas 3 is structurally related to them by a non‐crystallographic mirror plane ( 1 – 3 : monoclinic, space group P21/c, Z = 4; single crystal X‐ray diffraction at low temperatures). In each structure, the five‐membered 1,3,2‐dithiazolide heterocycle possesses an envelope conformation, the N atom lying about 40 pm outside the mean plane of the S–C–C–S moiety. The metal complexes feature two‐dimensional coordination networks interwoven with O–H…O hydrogen bonds originating from the water molecules. The metal centres adopt an irregular nonacoordination formed by five sulfonyl O atoms, two N atoms and two μ2‐bridging water molecules; each M+ is connected to four different anions. When NH4+ is substituted for M+, the metal–ligand bonds are replaced by N+–H…O hydrogen bonds, but the general topology of the lamella is not affected. In the three structures, the lipophilic benzo groups protrude obliquely from the surfaces of the polar lamellae and display marked interlocking between adjacent layers.  相似文献

Metal Salts of Benzene‐1, 2‐di(sulfonyl)amine. 8. Lamellar Layers Based upon Hydrogen Bonding and π‐Stacking: Crystal Structures of the Complexes [Mg(H2O)6]Z2 and [Be(H2O)4]Z22 H2O, where Z is C6H4(SO2)2N The crystal structures of the title complexes (both triclinic, space group P1¯, Z = 1 for M = Mg, Z = 2 for M = Be) have been determined by low‐temperature X‐ray diffraction. They consist of non‐coordinating ortho‐benzenedisulfonimide anions and, respectively, inversion‐symmetric octahedral [Mg(H2O)6]2+ cations or tetrahedral [Be(H2O)4]2+ cations and two non‐coordinating water molecules. In both structures, all O—H hydrogen bond donor groups are used to associate the components into two‐dimensional assemblies comprising an internal polar lamella of metal cations, (SO2)2N groups and water molecules, and hydrophobic peripheral regions consisting of vertically protruding benzo rings. Carbocycles drawn alternatingly from adjacent layers form π‐stacking arrays, whereby the aromatic rings display intercentroid distances in the range 340—370 pm. Several short C—H ⃜O contacts, which may be viewed as weak hydrogen bonds, occur within and between the layers.  相似文献

Metal Salts of Benzene‐1,2‐di(sulfonyl)amine. 5. Arene Stacking in the Channels of a Three‐Dimensional Coordination Polymer: Crystal Structure of the Sodium Complex [Na{C6H4(SO2)2N}(H2O)] and its Supramolecular Relationship to the Analogous Silver Complex The sodium compound NaZ · H2O, derived from HZ = ortho‐benzenedisulfonimide, has been characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction at –100 °C (orthorhombic, space group Pna21, Z = 4). The five‐membered 1,3,2‐dithiazolide heterocycle possesses an envelope conformation, the N atom lying 30.3(1) pm outside the mean plane of the S–C–C–S moiety. The sodium ion attains a severely distorted octahedral coordination via Na+…Oδ– interactions with four anions and one water molecule. In contrast to the previously reported lamellar layer structures of CsZ, RbZ · H2O and KZ · H2O, the present crystal displays a three‐dimensional coordination assembly consisting of sodium ions, (SO2)2N groups and water molecules. This polar framework is pervaded by parallel channels approximately 800 × 800 pm2 in profile, into which the lipophilic benzo rings are stacked at intercentroid distances of 402 pm. Re‐examination of AgZ · H2O (Z. Anorg. Allg. Chem. 1993 , 619, 1441) discloses a striking supramolecular relationship to the sodium congener. In the crystal packing of the silver complex, one‐dimensional strands comprising pentacoordinate cations are associated by O–H…O(S) hydrogen bonds into a three‐dimensional polar framework, which again accommodates stacks of benzo groups within parallel channels.  相似文献

The title complexes, obtained by treating hot aqueous solutions of ortho‐benzenedisulfonimide with solid CdCO3 or CuO, have been characterized by low‐temperature X‐ray diffraction (both triclinic, space group P&1macr;, Z = 1, metal ions on inversion centres). The cations have trans‐octahedral coordinations provided by two Cd‐N bonded or two Cu‐O bonded anions and four water molecules [Cd‐N 234.7(2) pm; Cu‐O(anion) 240.4(1) pm, elongated by Jahn‐Teller distortion]; the copper complex contains two further, non‐coordinating, water molecules per formula unit. In both structures, the uncharged zero‐dimensional building blocks are associated via strong hydrogen bonds O(W)‐H···A and one short C‐H···O bond to form two‐dimensional assemblies comprising an internal polar lamella of metal cations, (SO2)2N groups and water molecules, and hydrophobic peripheral regions consisting of vertically protruding benzo rings. Carbocycles drawn alternatingly from adjacent layers form π‐stacking arrays, in which the parallel aromatic rings display intercentroid distances in the range 365‐385 pm and vertical ring spacings in the range 345‐385 pm.  相似文献

The title complex, obtained by treating ortho‐benzenedisulfonimide (HZ) with LiOH in aqueous solution, has been characterized by low‐temperature X‐ray diffraction (triclinic, space group P&1macr;, Z' = 1). The lithium cation is bonded to one sulfonyl oxygen atom and three water molecules in a distorted tetrahedral configuration [Li‐O 189.3(3)‐201.2(3) pm, O‐Li‐O 98.5(2)‐123.2(2)?]. The zero‐dimensional [Li(Z)(H2O)3] complexes, which display an intramolecular O(W)‐H···O hydrogen bond, are cross‐linked via five O(W)‐H···O/N/O(W) interactions and a remarkably short C‐H···O bond (H···O 217 pm, C‐H···O 170?) to form a two‐dimensional assembly comprising an internal polar lamella of metal cations, (SO2)2N groups and water molecules, and hydrophobic peripheral regions consisting of protruding benzo groups. In the packing, alternate carbocycles drawn from adjacent layers set up a π‐stacking array of parallel aromatic rings (intercentroid distances 349 and 369 pm, cycle spacings 331 and 336 pm). In a short survey, the currently known crystal packings of seven MIZ · n H2O (n ≥ 0) complexes are examined and compared.  相似文献

Polysulfonylamines. CLXIII. Crystal Structures of Metal Di(methanesulfonyl)amides. 12. The Orthorhombic Double Salt Na2Cs2[(CH3SO2)2N]4·3H2O: A Three‐Dimensional Coordination Polymer Built up from Cesium‐Anion‐Water Layers and Intercalated Sodium Ions The packing arrangement of the three‐dimensional coordination polymer Na2Cs2[(MeSO2)2N]4·3H2O (orthorhombic, space group Pna21, Z′ = 1) is in some respects similar to that of the previously reported sodium‐potassium double salt Na2K2[(MeSO2)2N]4·4H2O (tetragonal, P43212, Z′ = 1/2). In the present structure, four multidentately coordinating independent anions, three independent aquo ligands and two types of cesium cation form monolayer substructures that are associated in pairs to form double layers via a Cs(1)—H2O—Cs(2) motif, thus conferring upon each Cs+ an irregular O8N2 environment drawn from two N, O‐chelating anions, two O, O‐chelating anions and two water molecules. Half of the sodium ions occupy pseudo‐inversion centres situated between the double layers and have an octahedral O6 coordination built up from four anions and two water molecules, whereas the remaining Na+ are intercalated within the double layers in a square‐pyramidal and pseudo‐C2 symmetric O5 environment provided by four anions and the water molecule of the Cs—H2O—Cs motif. The net effect is that each of the four independent anions forms bonds to two Cs+ and two Na+, two independent water molecules are involved in Cs—H2O—Na motifs, and the third water molecule acts as a μ3‐bridging ligand for two Cs+ and one Na+. The crystal cohesion is reinforced by a three‐dimensional network of conventional O—H···O=S and weak C—H···O=S/N hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

The two title compounds of 2,2′‐biimidazole (Bim) with 5‐sulfosalicylic acid (5‐H2SSA) and 2,2′‐bibenzimidazole (Bbim) with 5‐H2SSA are 1:2 organic salts, viz. C6H8N42+·2C7H5O6S, (I), and C14H12N42+·2C7H5O6S·3H2O, (II). The cation of compound (I) lies on a centre of inversion, whereas that of (II) lies on a twofold axis. Whilst compound (I) is anhydrous, three water molecules are incorporated into the crystal structure of (II). The substitution of imidazole H atoms by other chemical groups may favour the incorporation of water molecules into the crystal structure. In both compounds, the component cations and anions adopt a homogeneous arrangement, forming alternating cation and anion layers which run parallel to the (001) plane in (I) and to the (100) plane in (II). By a combination of N—H...O, O—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonds, the ions in both compounds are linked into three‐dimensional networks. In addition, π–π interactions are observed between symmetry‐related benzene rings of Bbim2+ cations in (II).  相似文献

Crystals of the title compound, 2C3H7N6+·C10H6O6S22−·C3H6N6·5H2O, are built up of neutral 2,4,6‐triamino‐1,3,5‐triazine (melamine), singly protonated melaminium cations, naphthalene‐1,5‐disulfonate dianions and water molecules. Two independent anions lie across centres of inversion in the space group P. The melamine molecules are connected by N—H...N hydrogen bonds into two different one‐dimensional polymers almost parallel to the (010) plane, forming a stacking structure along the b axis. The centrosymmetric naphthalene‐1,5‐disulfonate anions interact with water molecules via O—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming layers parallel to the (001) plane. The cations and anions are connected by N—H...O and O—H...N hydrogen bonds to form a three‐dimensional supramolecular framework.  相似文献

The title compound, C19H14N5+·ClO4?·H2O, contains planar C19H14N5+ cations, perchlorate anions and water molecules. The two closest parallel cations (plane‐to‐plane distance of 3.41 Å), together with two neighbouring perchlorate anions and two water molecules, form an electrically neutral quasi‐dimeric unit. Two acidic H atoms of the cation, both H atoms of the water molecule, the N atoms of the imidazole rings and three of the four O atoms of the perchlorate anion are involved in the hydrogen‐bonding network within the dimeric unit. The remaining third acidic H atom of the imidazole rings and the water molecules complete a two‐dimensional network of hydrogen bonds, thus forming puckered layers of dimers. The angle between the planes of two neighbouring dimeric units in the same layer is 33.25 (3)°.  相似文献

Polysulfonylamines. CLXXVIII. Onium Salts of Benzene‐1,2‐di(sulfonyl)amine (HZ): A Second Crystal Form of the Ammonium Salt NH4Z·H2O and Crystal Structure of the Bis(triphenylphosphoranylidene)ammonium Salt [Ph3PNPPh3]Z A dimorphic form of NH4Z·H2O, where Z? is N‐deprotonated ortho‐benzenedisulfonimide, has been obtained and structurally characterized (previously known form 1A : monoclinic, P21/c, Z′ = 1; new polymorph 1B : monoclinic, P21/n, Z′ = 1). Both structures are dominated by an abundance of classical hydrogen bonds N+–H/O–H···O=S/OH2, whereby the anionic N? function does not act as an acceptor. The major difference between the dimorphs arises from the topology of the hydrogen bond network, which is two‐dimensional in 1A , leading to a packing of discrete lamellar layers, but three‐dimensional in 1B . Moreover, the latter network is reinforced by a set of weak C–H··O/N hydrogen bonds, whereas the layered structure of 1A displays only one independent C–H···O bond, providing a link between adjacent layers. The compound [Ph3PNPPh3]Z ( 2 , monoclinic, P21/c, Z′ = 1) is the first structurally authenticated example of an ionic Z? derivative in which the cation contains neither metal bonding sites nor strong hydrogen bond donors. This structure exhibits columns of anions, surrounded by four parallel columns of cations, giving a square array. The large cations are associated into a three‐dimensional framework via weak C–H···C(π) interactions and an offset face‐to‐face phenyl interaction, while the anions occupy tunnels in this framework and are extensively bonded to the surrounding cations by C–H···O/N? hydrogen bonds and C–H···C(π) interactions.  相似文献

The title compound, C6H9N2O2+·Cl·C6H8N2O2·H2O, contains one 2‐(3‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐3‐ium‐1‐yl)acetate inner salt molecule, one 1‐carboxymethyl‐3‐methyl‐1H‐imidazol‐3‐ium cation, one chloride ion and one water molecule. In the extended structure, chloride anions and water molecules are linked via O—H...Cl hydrogen bonds, forming an infinite one‐dimensional chain. The chloride anions are also linked by two weak C—H...Cl interactions to neighbouring methylene groups and imidazole rings. Two imidazolium moieties form a homoconjugated cation through a strong and asymmetric O—H...O hydrogen bond of 2.472 (2) Å. The IR spectrum shows a continuous D‐type absorption in the region below 1300 cm−1 and is different to that of 1‐carboxymethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium chloride [Xuan, Wang & Xue (2012). Spectrochim. Acta Part A, 96 , 436–443].  相似文献

In bis(2‐carboxypyridinium) hexafluorosilicate, 2C6H6NO2+·SiF62−, (I), and bis(2‐carboxyquinolinium) hexafluorosilicate dihydrate, 2C10H8NO2+·SiF62−·2H2O, (II), the Si atoms of the anions reside on crystallographic centres of inversion. Primary inter‐ion interactions in (I) occur via strong N—H...F and O—H...F hydrogen bonds, generating corrugated layers incorporating [SiF6]2− anions as four‐connected net nodes and organic cations as simple links in between. In (II), a set of strong N—H...F, O—H...O and O—H...F hydrogen bonds, involving water molecules, gives a three‐dimensional heterocoordinated rutile‐like framework that integrates [SiF6]2− anions as six‐connected and water molecules as three‐connected nodes. The carboxyl groups of the cation are hydrogen bonded to the water molecule [O...O = 2.5533 (13) Å], while the N—H group supports direct bonding to the anion [N...F = 2.7061 (12) Å].  相似文献

Benzodithiazolium Chlorooxomolybdate(V): Preparation and Crystal Structure of (C6H4NS2)[MoOCl4] and (C6H4NS2)[MoOCl4·H2O] Red benzo‐1,3,2‐dithiazolium‐chlorooxomolybdate(V) (C6H4NS2)[MoOCl4] ( 1 ) was obtained by the reaction of benzo‐1,3,2‐dithiazoliumchloride and molybdenum(V)chloride oxide in dichlormethane under solvothermal conditions at 70 °C. In the presence of small amounts of concentrated hydrochloric acid the yellow compound (C6H4NS2)[MoOCl4·H2O] ( 2 ) is formed under analogue conditions. Both crystal structures ( 1 : monoclinic, C2/c, a = 799.2(1), b = 2091.5(2), c = 791.5(1) pm, β = 102.2(1)°, Z = 4; 2 : monoclinic, Cc, a = 953.7(1), b = 2468.9(3), c = 608.1(1) pm, β = 112.5(1)°, Z = 4) contain the planar benzo‐1,3,2‐dithiazolium ion. Within the structure of 1 the molybdenum atoms in the [MoOCl4]? ions are coordinated in a square pyramidal fashion with an oxygen atom in apical position and the basal plane formed by chlorine atoms. The nitrogen atom of the cation, which bears a partial negativ charge, expands the coordination to a distorted octahedron. The structure therefore is made up of ionic pairs {(C6H4NS2)+ [MoOCl4]?} with a Mo–N distance of 266 pm. 1 is paramagnetic with a magnetic moment of 1.7 B.M. corresponding to one unpaired electron per formula unit. In the structure of 2 the coordination of the [MoOCl4]? ion is expanded by the oxygen atom of a coordinating water molecule. The structure is dominated by hydrogen bonds between the oxygen atoms of the [MoOCl4·H2O]? ions which cause the concatenation of the anions to infinite chains.  相似文献

2‐{1‐[(4‐Chloroanilino)methylidene]ethyl}pyridinium chloride methanol solvate, C13H13ClN3+·Cl·CH3OH, (I), crystallizes as discrete cations and anions, with one molecule of methanol as solvent in the asymmetric unit. The N—C—C—N torsion angle in the cation indicates a cis conformation. The cations are located parallel to the (02) plane and are connected through hydrogen bonds by a methanol solvent molecule and a chloride anion, forming zigzag chains in the direction of the b axis. The crystal structure of 2‐{1‐[(4‐fluoroanilino)methylidene]ethyl}pyridinium chloride, C13H13FN3+·Cl, (II), contains just one anion and one cation in the asymmetric unit but no solvent. In contrast with (I), the N—C—C—N torsion angle in the cation corresponds with a trans conformation. The cations are located parallel to the (100) plane and are connected by hydrogen bonds to the chloride anions, forming zigzag chains in the direction of the b axis. In addition, the crystal packing is stabilized by weak π–π interactions between the pyridinium and benzene rings. The crystal of (II) is a nonmerohedral monoclinic twin which emulates an orthorhombic diffraction pattern. Twinning occurs via a twofold rotation about the c axis and the fractional contribution of the minor twin component refined to 0.324 (3). 2‐{1‐[(4‐Fluoroanilino)methylidene]ethyl}pyridinium chloride methanol disolvate, C13H13FN3+·Cl·2CH3OH, (III), is a pseudopolymorph of (II). It crystallizes with two anions, two cations and four molecules of methanol in the asymmetric unit. Two symmetry‐equivalent cations are connected by hydrogen bonds to a chloride anion and a methanol solvent molecule, forming a centrosymmetric dimer. A further methanol molecule is hydrogen bonded to each chloride anion. These aggregates are connected by C—H...O contacts to form infinite chains. It is remarkable that the geometric structures of two compounds having two different formula units in their asymmetric units are essentially the same.  相似文献

The crystal structures of the two title (E)‐stilbazolium halogenates, C20H17ClNO+·Cl and C20H17BrNO+·Br, are isomorphous, with an isostructurality index of 0.985. The azastyryl fragments are almost planar, with dihedral angles between the benzene and pyridine rings of ca 4.5°. The rings of the benzyl groups are, in turn, almost perpendicular to the azastyryl planes, with dihedral angles larger than 80°. The cations and anions are connected by O—H...X (X = halogen) hydrogen bonds. The halide anions are `sandwiched' between the charged pyridinium rings of neighbouring molecules, and weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds and C—H...X and C—H...π interactions also contribute to the crystal structures.  相似文献

Polysulfonylamines. CLIV. Crystal Structures of Metal Di(methanesulfonyl)amides. 7. A Three‐Dimensional Coordination Polymer Built up from Layers and Pillars: Crystal Structure of Ba[(CH3SO2)2N]2·2H2O The barium compound BaA2·2H2O, derived from HA = di(methanesulfonyl)amine, has been characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction at —95 °C (monoclinic, space group P21/n, Z = 4). Despite numerous metal‐ligand bonds, the independent anions A and A′ retain the pseudo‐C2 symmetric conformation that commonly occurs in organic onium salts BH+A. The large cation attains ninefold coordination via interactions with one (O, N)‐chelating A, three κ1O‐bonding A, two κ1O‐bonding A′ and two monodentate water molecules; if a distinctly longer barium‐water distance is included, the coordination number may alternatively be viewed as 9 + 1 and one water molecule regarded as an asymmetrically μ2‐bridging ligand. In contrast to the previously reported layer structures of SrA2 and PbA2, the present crystal displays a three‐dimensional coordination assembly consisting of layers formed by the cations, the water molecules and the pentadentate A ligands, and of interlayer pillars provided by the bidentate A′ ligands; however, the Ba2+/A substructure turns out to be topologically and crystallographically congruent with the corresponding M2+/A substructures in SrA2 and PbA2. The crystal cohesion of the barium complex is reinforced by four O(W)—H···O=S hydrogen bonds and several non‐classical C—H···O=S hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

In the title compounds, C7H8NO2+·NO3, (I), C7H8NO2+·ClO4·H2O, (II), and 2C7H8NO2+·SO42−, (III), the carboxyl planes of the 4‐carboxyphenylammonium cations are twisted from the aromatic plane. A homonuclear C(8) hydrogen‐bonding motif of 4‐carboxyphenylammonium cations is observed in both (I) and (II), leading to `head‐to‐tail' layers. The cations in (III) form carboxyl group dimers, making a graph‐set motif of R22(8). In all the structures, anions connect the cationic layers and an infinite chain running along the c axis is observed, having the C22(6) graph‐set motif. Interestingly, in (II), the anions are connected through weak hydrogen bonds involving the water molecules, leading to a graph‐set motif of R44(12). Alternate hydrophobic and hydrophilic layers are observed in all three compounds as a result of the column‐like arrangement of the aromatic rings of the cations and the anions. Furthermore, in (I), head‐to‐tail N—H⋯O interactions and interactions linking the cations and anions form an R64(16) hydrogen‐bonding motif, resulting in a pseudo‐inversion centre at (, , 0).  相似文献

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, 3C10H12N22+·2C10H11N2+·8C6H5NO5P, contains one and a half naphthalene‐1,5‐diaminium cations, in which the half‐molecule has inversion symmetry, one 5‐aminonaphthalen‐1‐aminium cation and four hydrogen (5‐carboxypyridin‐3‐yl)phosphonate anions. The crystal structure is layered and consists of hydrogen‐bonded anionic monolayers between which the cations are arranged. The acid monoanions are organized into one‐dimensional chains along the [101] direction via hydrogen bonds established between the phosphonate sites. (C)O—H...Npy hydrogen bonds (py is pyridine) crosslink the chains to form an undulating (010) monolayer. The cations serve both to balance the charge of the anionic network and to connect neighbouring layers via multiple hydrogen bonds to form a three‐dimensional supramolecular architecture.  相似文献

The structure of the title compound [systematic name: bis(adamantan‐1‐aminium) tetrachloridozincate(II)–1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane–water (1/1/1)], (C10H18N)2[ZnCl4]·C12H24O6·H2O, consists of supramolecular rotator–stator assemblies and ribbons of hydrogen bonds parallel to [010]. The assemblies are composed of one protonated adamantan‐1‐aminium cation and one crown ether molecule (1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane) to give an overall [(C10H18N)(18‐crown‐6)]+ cation. The –NH3+ group of the cation nests in the crown and links to the crown‐ether O atoms through N—H...O hydrogen bonds. The 18‐crown‐6 ring adopts a pseudo‐C3v conformation. The second adamantan‐1‐aminium forms part of ribbons of adamantan‐1‐aminium–water–tetrachloridozincate units which are interconnected by O—H...Cl, N—H...O and N—H...Cl hydrogen bonds via three different continuous rings with R54(12), R43(10) and R33(8) motifs.  相似文献

Mixtures of 4‐carboxypyridinium perchlorate or 4‐carboxypyridinium tetrafluoroborate and 18‐crown‐6 (1,4,7,10,13,16‐hexaoxacyclooctadecane) in ethanol and water solution yielded the title supramolecular salts, C6H6NO2+·ClO4·C12H24O6·2H2O and C6H6NO2+·BF4·C12H24O6·2H2O. Based on their similar crystal symmetries, unit cells and supramolecular assemblies, the salts are essentially isostructural. The asymmetric unit in each structure includes one protonated isonicotinic acid cation and one crown ether molecule, which together give a [(C6H6NO2)(18‐crown‐6)]+ supramolecular cation. N—H...O hydrogen bonds between the protonated N atoms and a single O atom of each crown ether result in the 4‐carboxypyridinium cations `perching' on the 18‐crown‐6 molecules. Further hydrogen‐bonding interactions involving the supramolecular cation and both water molecules form a one‐dimensional zigzag chain that propagates along the crystallographic c direction. O—H...O or O—H...F hydrogen bonds between one of the water molecules and the anions fix the anion positions as pendant upon this chain, without further increasing the dimensionality of the supramolecular network.  相似文献
