Synthesis and characterization of seven new complexes [Cu(2‐MeSnic)2(CH3OH)]2 (where 2‐MeSnic is 2‐methylthionicotinate), [Cu(2‐MeSnic)2L2]2 (where L is pyridine — py, ethylnicotinate — Etnic and butylnicotinate — Bunic), [Cu(2‐MeSnic)2L2(H2O)2] (where L is py and nicotinamide — nia) and [Cu(2‐MeSnic)2(N‐Menia)2(H2O)2]·2H2O (where N‐Menia is N‐methylnicotinamide) are reported. The characterization were based on elemental analysis, infrared, electronic and EPR spectra, and magnetic susceptibility measurements over a temperature range of 1.8 — 300 K or 70 — 300 K. Three complexes of different type were studied by X‐ray analysis. The molecule of [Cu(2‐MeSnic)2(CH3OH)]2 has dimeric paddle‐wheel cage structure with a tetragonal pyramidal arrangement around CuII. The dimer results from the fact that carboxyl groups of four 2‐MeSnic anions function as bridging in a syn‐syn arrangement. On the other hand [Cu(2‐MeSnic)2(py)2]2 forms dimers with hexacoordinated CuII atoms in highly distorted coordination octahedra, each with two oxygen atoms of bridging carboxyl groups in an anti‐anti arrangement of two 2‐MeSnic anions, with two oxygen atoms of one asymmetrically chelating 2‐MeSnic anion and with two nitrogen atoms of two pyridine ligands. The temperature independent EPR spectrum for this complex exhibits an axial signal which corresponds to almost isolated S = 1/2 magnetic ions. Magnetic data for the dimer show a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between the two metal ions with J = —0.65 cm—1. The CuII atom in complex [Cu(2‐MeSnic)2(py)2(H2O)2] is hexacoordinated in an elongated centrosymmetrical tetragonal‐bipyramidal arrangement (4 + 2). Based on the molecular structure the electronic, infrared, electron paramagnetic resonance spectra and magnetic properties are discussed and stereochemistry as well as the mode of ligand coordination in new solid complexes under study have been determined.  相似文献

Three copper(II) coordination polymers, namely, {[CuL(H2O)2] · 4H2O}n( 1 ), [CuL(H2O)(DMF)]n( 2 ), and [CuL(2, 2′‐bipy)(DMSO)] · DMSO ( 3 ) [H2L = 2, 2′‐(4, 6‐dinitro‐1, 3‐phenyl‐enedioxy)diacetic acid] were synthesized in different solvents (H2O, DMF, and DMSO). X‐ray single crystal diffraction studies show that both complexes 1 and 3 belong to triclinic crystal system and P$\bar{1}$ space group and complex 2 belongs to the monoclinic crystal system and P21/c space group. In three complexes, all the central CuII ions coordinate with the ligand, forming a square pyramidal configuration. Both complexes 1 and 2 show similar 1D chain‐like structure and the chains are further connected by hydrogen bonds, forming 3D frameworks. Complex 3 exhibits a 0D structure due to the introduction of the ligand 2, 2′‐bipy. In addition, the luminescence properties of these complexes were investigated.  相似文献

The temperature‐dependent dynamic properties of [CuII2(ADCOO)4(DMF)2]?(DMF)2 ( 1 ) and [CuII2(ADCOO)4(AcOEt)2] ( 2 ) crystals were examined by X‐ray crystallography, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and measurements of the dielectric constants and magnetic susceptibilities (ADCOO=adamantane carboxylate, DMF=N,N‐dimethylformamide, and AcOEt=ethyl acetate). In both crystals, four ADCOO groups bridged a binuclear CuII? CuII bond, forming a paddle‐wheel [CuII2(ADCOO)4] structure. The oxygen atoms of two DMF molecules in crystal 1 and two AcOEt molecules in crystal 2 were coordinated at axial positions of the [CuII2(ADCOO)4] moiety, forming [CuII2(ADCOO)4(DMF)2] and [CuII2(ADCOO)4(AcOEt)2], respectively. Two additional DMF molecules were included in the unit cell of crystal 1 , whereas AcOEt was not included in the unit cell of crystal 2 . The structural analyses of crystal 1 at 300 K showed three‐fold rotation of the adamantyl groups, whereas rotation of the adamantyl groups of crystal 2 at 300 K was not observed. Thermogravimetric measurements of crystal 1 indicated a gradual elimination of DMF upon increasing the temperature above 300 K. The dynamic behavior of the crystallized DMF yielded significant temperature‐dependent dielectric responses in crystal 1 , which showed a huge dielectric peak at 358 K in the heating process. In contrast, only small frequency‐dependent dielectric responses were observed in crystal 2 because of the freezing of the molecular rotation of the adamantyl groups. The magnetic behavior was dominated by the strong antiferromagnetic coupling between the two S=1/2 spins of the CuII? CuII site, with magnetic exchange energies (J) of ?265 K (crystal 1 ) and ?277 K (crystal 2 ).  相似文献

Two novel trinuclear nickel(II) complexes have been synthesized and characterized by X‐ray single crystal diffraction. Compound [Ni3(ashz)3(py)2(DMF)2]·(DMF)2 ( 1 ) crystallizes in the monoclinic, space group C2/c, with a = 22.114(2), b = 10.509(9), c = 19.485(2) Å, β = 114.443(1)°, Z = 4; compound [Ni3(acshz)3(py)2(DMF)2]·(DMF)2 ( 2 ) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 20.0620(2), b = 9.7017(6), c = 25.0533(2) Å, β = 97.0610(2)°, Z = 4, where ashz and acshz are deprotonated N‐acetylsalicylhydrazide (H3ashz) and N‐acetyl‐5‐chlorosalicylhydrazide (H3acshz), respectively. The crystal structure analysis of 1 and 2 showed that three Ni2+ ions in a linear arrangement are bridged by two ligands ((ashz)3? or (acshz)3?) to form a neutral nuclear with two four‐coordinate square‐planar nickel ions linked by a six‐coordinate octahedral central nickel ion.  相似文献

Tuning the magnetic anisotropy of metal ions remains highly interesting in the design of improved single‐molecule magnets (SMMs). We herein report synthetic, structural, magnetic, and computational studies of four mononuclear CoII complexes, namely [Co(hfac)2(MeCN)2] ( 1 ), [Co(hfac)2(Spy)2] ( 2 ), [Co(hfac)2(MBIm)2] ( 3 ), and [Co(hfac)2(DMF)2] ( 4 ) (MeCN=acetonitrile, hfac=hexafluoroacetylacetone, Spy=4‐styrylpyridine, MbIm=5,6‐dimethylbenzimidazole, DMF=N,N‐dimethylformamide), with distorted octahedral geometry constructed from hexafluoroacetylacetone (hfac) and various axial ligands. By a building block approach, complexes 2 – 4 were synthesized by recrystallization of the starting material of 1 from various ligands containing solution. Magnetic and theoretical studies reveal that 1 – 4 possess large positive D values and relative small E parameters, indicating easy‐plane magnetic anisotropy with significant rhombic anisotropy in 1 – 4 . Dynamic alternative current (ac) magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that these complexes exhibit slow magnetic relaxation under external fields, suggesting field‐induced single‐ion magnets (SIMs) of 1 – 4 . These results provide a promising platform to achieve fine tuning of magnetic anisotropy through varying the axial ligands based on Co(II) bis(hexafluoroacetylacetonate) complexes.  相似文献

A group of a diverse family of dinuclear copper(II) complexes derived from pyrazole‐containing tridentate N2O ligands, 1,3‐bis(3,5‐dimethylpyrazol‐1‐yl)propan‐2‐ol (Hdmpzpo), 1,3‐bis(3‐phenyl‐5‐methyl pyrazol‐1‐yl)propan‐2‐ol (Hpmpzpo) and 1,3‐bis(3‐cumyl‐5‐methylpyrazol‐1‐yl)propan‐2‐ol (Hcmpzpo), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and three of them also by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Three complexes, [Cu2(pmpzpo)2](NO3)2·2CH3OH ( 3 ·2CH3OH), [Cu2(pmpzpo)2](ClO4)2 ( 4 ) and [Cu2(cmpzpo)2](ClO4)2·2DMF ( 7 ·2DMF), each exhibits a dimeric structure with a inversion center being located between the two copper atoms. The metal ion is coordinated in a distorted square planar environment by two pyrazole nitrogen atoms and two bridging alkoxo oxygen atoms. Both complexes 1 ·CH3OH·H2O and 3 ·2CH3OH were investigated in anaerobic conditions for the catalytic oxidation of 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol (3,5‐DTBC) to the corresponding quinone (3,5‐DTBQ), for modeling the functional properties of catechol oxidase. Three novel 5‐R‐tetrazolato complexes (R = Me, Ph, 4‐Py), namely [Zn2(MeCN4)4(DMSO)2] ( 1 ), [Cu2(PhCN4)4(en)2] · 2DMSO ( 2 ), and [Cu(4‐PyCN4)2(DMSO)2] · 4DMSO ( 3 ), were isolated as unexpected products under attempts to prepare heterometallic tetrazolates using a direct synthesis strategy in the Cu0‐ZnO‐en‐RCN4H‐DMSO system (en = ethylenediamine). The prepared compounds were characterized by elemental, single‐crystal X‐ray, and thermal analyses, and IR spectroscopy. Variation of the 5‐substituent of the tetrazole ring causes different composition of complexes 1 – 3 and diverse coordination modes of 5‐R‐tetrazolato ligands. Complex 1 is a 3D coordination polymer due to N1, N4‐bridging of 5‐methyltetrazolato anions. Complex 2 , with en as a coligand, has a dinuclear structure with two copper atoms linked together by two 5‐phenyltetrazolato ligands by tetrazole N2, N3 bridges. Complex 3 represents a 2D coordination polymer, formed due to 5‐(4‐pyridyl)tetrazolato bridges between adjacent copper atoms (with the tetrazole and pyridine rings nitrogen atoms as coordination centers). DMSO molecules, included in all the compounds, are solvate and/or coordinated ones.  相似文献

Three copper(II) complexes, [Cu2(OAc)4L2] · 2CH3OH ( 1 ), [CuBr2L′2(CH3OH)] · CH3OH ( 2a ), and [CuBr2L′2(DMSO)] · 0.5CH3OH ( 2b ) {L = N‐(9‐anthracenyl)‐N′‐(3‐pyridyl)urea and L′ = N‐[10‐(10‐methoxy‐anthronyl)]‐N′‐(3‐pyridyl)urea} have been synthesized by the reaction of L with the corresponding copper(II) salts. Complex 1 shows a dinuclear structure with a conventional “paddlewheel” motif, in which four acetate units bridge the two CuII ions. In complexes 2a and 2b , the anthracenyl ligand L has been converted to an anthronyl derivative L′, and the central metal ion exhibits a distorted square pyramidal arrangement, with two pyridyl nitrogen atoms and two bromide ions defining the basal plane and the apical position is occupied by a solvent molecule (CH3OH in 2a and DMSO in 2b ).  相似文献

The title compound, [Cu2(C13H14N3)2Cl2], is a neutral dimeric copper(II) complex. The two CuII atoms are asymmetrically bridged by two chloride ions. Each CuII atom is also bound to the three N atoms of a deprotonated tridentate Schiff base ligand, giving a distorted square‐pyramidal N3Cl2 coordination environment overall. The dinuclear complex lies across an inversion centre in the space group P. This work demonstrates the effect of ligand flexibility and steric constraints on the structures of copper(II) complexes.  相似文献

A dimeric dichloro-bridged copper(II) complex [Cu2(pdon)2Cl4] · 2DMF (1) and two mononuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu(pdon)(DMSO)Cl2] · DMSO · H2O (2) and [Cu(pdon)3] · (ClO4)2 · 2.25CH3CN · 6H2O (3) (pdon = 1,10-phenanthroline-5,6-dione) have been synthesized and characterized. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility studies indicate the existence of weak anti-ferromagnetic coupling in the binuclear complex. The interaction of these complexes with CT-DNA (calf thymus DNA) has been studied using absorption and emission spectral methods. The apparent binding constants (K app) for 1, 2 and 3 are 5.20 × 105, 2.68 × 105 and 7.05 × 105 M?1, respectively, showing moderate intercalative binding modes. All of these complexes cleave plasmid DNA to nicked DNA in a sequential manner as the concentration or reaction time is increased. The cleavage mechanism between the complex and plasmid DNA is likely to involve singlet oxygen 1O2 and ?OH as reactive oxygen species.  相似文献

The reactions of the new nitrilotriacetic acid N′,N′,N′‐tri(salicyloyl)trihydrazide (Ntash) with the corresponding metal salts gave four new complexes [Pb4(bshz)2] · 2DMF ( 1 ), [Co2(bshz)(C5H5N)6] · 2ClO4 · (C5H5N) · 2H2O ( 2 ), [Cu3(fshz)2(C5H5N)2] ( 3 ), and [Zn3(fshz)2(C5H5N)3]n · 2DMF ( 4 ), in which two multidentate ligands, namely N,N′‐disalicyloylhydrazine (H4bshz) and N‐formylsalicylhydrazide (H3fshz) were generated in situ from Ntash. The structures of these complexes were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. Complex 1 presents a novel tetranuclear lead(II) cluster structure with the four lead(II) cations in “hemidirected” coordination spheres. The neighboring tetranuclear clusters of 1 are connected by DMF molecules through weak Pb–O bonds, forming one‐dimensional ribbons. Complexes 2 and 3 show dinuclear and linear trinuclear structures with the corresponding CoIII and CuII ions in distorted octahedral and square‐planar coordination environments, respectively. Complex 4 exhibits a one‐dimensional zigzag chain structure. The magnetic properties of 3 and the photoluminescent properties of 4 were also investigated.  相似文献

One μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐carboxylato bridged dinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu2(L1)(μ‐C6H5CO2)] ( 1 )(H3L1 = 1,3‐bis(salicylideneamino)‐2‐propanol)), and two μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐dicarboxylato doubly‐bridged tetranuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu4(L1)2(μ‐C8H10O4)(DMF)2]·H2O ( 2 ) and [Cu4(L2)2(μ‐C5H6O4]·2H2O·2CH3CN ( 3 ) (H3L2 = 1,3‐bis(5‐bromo‐salicylideneamino)‐2‐propanol)) have been prepared and characterized. The single crystal X‐ray analysis shows that the structure of complex 1 is dimeric with two adjacent copper(II) atoms bridged by μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐carboxylato ligands where the Cu···Cu distances and Cu‐O(alkoxo)‐Cu angles are 3.5 11 Å and 132.8°, respectively. Complexes 2 and 3 consist of a μ‐alkoxo‐μ‐dicarboxylato doubly‐bridged tetranuclear Cu(II) complex with mean Cu‐Cu distances and Cu‐O‐Cu angles of 3.092 Å and 104.2° for 2 and 3.486 Å and 129.9° for 3 , respectively. Magnetic measurements reveal that 1 is strong antiferromagnetically coupled with 2J =‐210 cm?1 while 2 and 3 exhibit ferromagnetic coupling with 2J = 126 cm?1 and 82 cm?1 (averaged), respectively. The 2J values of 1–3 are correlated to dihedral angles and the Cu‐O‐Cu angles. Dependence of the pH at 25 °C on the reaction rate of oxidation of 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol (3,5‐DTBC) to the corresponding quinone (3,5‐DTBQ) catalyzed by 1–3 was studied. Complexes 1–3 exhibit catecholase‐like active at above pH 8 and 25 °C for oxidation of 3,5‐di‐tert‐butylcatechol.  相似文献

Two structurally different complexes, [Cu2(2-NO2Bz)4(denia)1]n (1) and [Cu(2-NO2Bz)2(denia)2(H2O)2] (2), were prepared from the same reaction (where 2-NO2Bz = 2-nitrobenzoate, denia = N,N-diethylnicotinamide) and they are reported together with [Cu2(2-NO2Bz)4(DMF)2] (3) (DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide). The compounds under study were characterized by elemental analysis, electronic, IR and EPR spectra, magnetic measurements over the temperature range of 1.8–300 K and X-ray analysis. The molecular structure of (1) is polymeric, (2) is monomeric and (3) is dimeric. In the polymeric chain of (1), the denia molecules serve as bridges between dimeric Cu2(2-NO2bz)4 units. Each Cu(II) atom has a square-pyramidal arrangement with different chromophores, Cu1O4O′ and Cu2O4N. The Cu–Cu distances are 2.699(1) Å in the dimeric unit and 7.980(3) Å between the dimeric units. In (2) the Cu(II) atom has a tetragonal-bipyramidal environment CuO2N2O′2. In (3) two Cu(II) atoms are bridged by four carboxylate groups of four 2-NO2bz anions in a synsyn arrangement which create a square base about each Cu(II) atom and an apical position is occupied by the O atom of a DMF molecule (CuO4O′). The Cu–Cu distance of 2.633(1) Å is somewhat shorter than in (1). Spectral and magnetic data of the complexes are discussed with their structures.  相似文献

The title compound, {[Cu(C14H9NO3)(C5H5N)]·C3H7NO}n or {[Cu2L2(py)2]·2DMF}n [py is pyridine, L is 4‐(salicylideneamino)benzoate and DMF is dimethylformamide], is composed of dimeric dicopper [CuL(py)]2 building units, which are interlinked into a one‐dimensional chain through the formation of Cu—OCOO bonds. The dimeric unit is centrosymmetric, containing two CuII atoms linked by bridging phenolate O atoms into a Cu2O2 plane with a chelating Cu—O bond length of 1.927 (2) Å and a bridging Cu—O bond length of 2.440 (2) Å. Interchain C—H...O and π–π stacking interactions are responsible for an extensive three‐dimensional structure in which the resulting channels are filled by DMF solvent molecules.  相似文献

Copper coordination complexes containing the 2‐methoxycarboxybenzoate (2‐mcob) ligand show different topologies depending on the nature of the dipyridyl coligand. [Cu2(2‐mcob)2(ebin)]n ( 1 ) [ebin = ethanebis(isonicotinamide)] shows a ladder structure based on anti‐syn bridged [Cu(OCO)]n chain motifs. [Cu2(2‐mcob)2(bbin)(H2O)2] ( 2 ) [bbin = butanebis(isonicotinamide)] displays a dimeric molecular structure. [Cu2(2‐mcob)2(hbin)]n ( 3 ) [hbin = hexanebis(isonicotinamide)] manifests a ladder structure very similar to that of 1 . {[Cu(2‐mcob)(dpa)] · H2O}n ( 4 ) [dpa = bis(4‐pyridyl)amine] shows a chain coordination polymer structure. All four materials showed significant promise as heterogeneous degradation catalysts for Congo Red dye in aqueous suspension under ultraviolet irradiation. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility experiments for 1 indicated the presence of weak antiferromagnetic exchange (g = 2.059(2), J = –0.84(2) cm–1). Thermal degradation behavior is also discussed.  相似文献

A new hydrazone (LH2) derived from the condensation of 2‐(4‐fluorobenzamido)benzohydrazide with 3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2‐hydroxybenzaldehyde was used to synthesize Co(III), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes. These were characterized using various physicochemical, thermal, spectroscopic and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction techniques. All the complexes crystallize in a monoclinic crystal system with P21/n space group and Z = 4. Structural studies of [Co(L)(LH)]?H2O indicate the presence of both amido and imidol tautomeric forms of the ligand, resulting in a distorted octahedral geometry around the Co(III) ion. On the other hand, in the [Ni(L)(DMF)] and [Cu(L)(H2O)] complexes, the ligand coordinates to the metal through imidol form resulting in distorted square planar geometry, in which the fourth position is occupied by the oxygen of coordinated DMF in [Ni(L)(DMF)] and by a water molecule in [Cu(L)(H2O)]. Hirshfeld surface calculations were performed to explore hydrogen bonding and C―H???π interactions. Molecular docking studies were carried out to study the interaction between the synthesized compounds and proteins (cyclooxygenase‐2 and 5‐lipoxygenase). The complexes along with the parent ligand were screened for their in vivo anti‐inflammatory activity, using the carrageenan‐induced rat paw oedema method. The complexes show significant anti‐inflammatory potencies.  相似文献

Nine new coordination compounds have been synthesized by the reaction of salts of bivalent metal ions (a=ZnII, b=CuII, c=NiII, d=CoII) with the bis(benzoylhydrazone) derivative of 4,6‐diacetylresorcinol (H4L). Three kinds of complexes have been obtained: homodinuclear compounds [M2(H2L)2]?nH2O ( 1 a , 1 b , 1 c , and 1 d ), homotetranuclear compounds [M4(L)2]?n(solv) ( 2 a and 2 c ), and heterotetranuclear compounds [Zn2M2(L)2]?n(solv) ( 2 ab , 2 ac , and 2 ad ). The structures of the free ligand H4L?2 DMSO and its complexes [Zn2(H2L)2(DMSO)2] ( 1 a* ), [Zn4(L)2(DMSO)6] ( 2 a* ), and [Zn0.45Cu3.55(L)2(DMSO)6]?2 DMSO ( 2 ab* ) were elucidated by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The ligand shows luminescence properties and its fluorimetric behavior towards MII metals (M=Zn, Cu, Ni and Co) has been studied. Furthermore, the solid‐state luminescence properties of the ligand and compounds have been determined at room temperature. 1H NMR spectroscopic monitoring of the reaction of H4L with ZnII showed the deprotonation sequence of the OH/NH groups upon metal coordination. Heteronuclear reactions have also been monitored by using ESI‐MS and spectrofluorimetric techniques.  相似文献

A series of neutral oxamato‐bridged heterobimetallic chains of general formula [MCu(Lx)2(S)2] ? p S ? q H2O [p=0–1, q=0–2.5; L1=N‐2,6‐dimethylphenyloxamate, S=DMF with M=Mn ( 1 a ) and Co ( 1 b ); L2=N‐2,6‐diethylphenyloxamate, S=DMF with M=Mn ( 2 a ) and Co ( 2 b ) or S=DMSO with M=Mn ( 2 c ) and Co ( 2 d ); L3=N‐2,6‐diisopropylphenyloxamate, S=DMF with M=Mn ( 3 a ) and Co ( 3 b ) or S=DMSO with M=Mn ( 3 c ) and Co ( 3 d )] were prepared by treating the corresponding anionic oxamatocopper(II) complexes [Cu(Lx)2]2? (x=1–3) with M2+ cations (M=Mn and Co) in DMF or DMSO as the solvent. The single‐crystal X‐ray structures of 2 a and 3 a reveal the occurrence of well‐isolated, zigzag, oxamato‐bridged manganese(II)–copper(II) chains. The intrachain Cu ??? Mn distances across the oxamato bridge are 5.3761(7) and 5.4002(17) Å for 2 a and 3 a , respectively, whereas the shortest interchain Mn ??? Mn distances are 9.4475(16) and 8.1649(14) Å for 2 a and 3 a , respectively. All of these MIICuII chains (M=Mn and Co) exhibit 1D ferrimagnetic behaviour with moderately strong intrachain antiferromagnetic coupling between the square‐planar CuII and octahedral high‐spin MII ions across the oxamato bridge [?J=31.4–35.2 and 33.4–44.8 cm?1, respectively; H =∑i?J S M,i( S Cu,i+ S Cu,i?1)]. Only the CoIICuII chains show slow magnetic relaxation effects characteristic of single‐chain magnets (SCMs). Analysis of the magnetic relaxation dynamics of 3 d shows a thermally activated mechanism (Arrhenius law dependence) with values of the pre‐exponential factor (τ0=2.6×10?9 s) and activation energy (Ea=7.7 cm?1) that are typical of SCMs. In contrast, two relaxation regimes are observed for 2 d in different temperature regions (τ0=3.2×10?10 s and Ea=24.7 cm?1 for T<4.5 K and τ0=3.2×10?14 s and Ea=37.5 cm?1 for T>4.5 K).  相似文献

Two bis-methoxo-bridged dimeric copper(II) complexes, [Cu2(OMe)2(APMD)4](BF4)2 1 and [Cu2(OMe)2(APMD)4](ClO4)2 2, were prepared and characterized by x-ray single-crystal structure analysis and magnetic susceptibility. Complexes 1 and 2 are isomorphous, being composed of discrete [Cu2( w 2-OMe)2(APMD)4]2+ cations and anions with each Cu(II) atom ligated by two pyrimidine nitrogen atoms (Cu-N , 2.01Å) from two APMD ligands and two oxygen atoms (Cu-O , 1.92Å) from the w 2 -methoxo groups in a distorted square-planar geometry. The intramolecular metal-metal separations in the two complexes are ca. 2.95 Å. The intermediate antiferromagnetic exchanges (J , m 270 cm-1) for the two complexes indicate a good overlap between the electronic orbitals of the square-planar copper(II) center via bridging oxygen atoms.  相似文献
