A new chromogenic reagent, 2‐(2‐quinolylazo)‐5‐dimethylaminoaniline (QADMAA) was synthesized. A highly sensitive, selective and rapid method for the determination of silver based on the rapid reaction of silver(I) with QADMAA was developed. In the presence of pH = 6.5 sodium citrate‐sodium hydroxide buffer solution and sodium dodecyl sulfonate (SDS) medium, QADMAA reacts with silver to form a violet complex of a molar ratio 1:2 (silver to QADMAA). The molar absorptivity of the complex is 1.26 × 105 L. mol?1.cm?1 at 570 nm. Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0.01–0.6 μg/mL. The relative standard deviation for eleven replicate samples of 0.2 μg/mL silver is 1.76%. This method was applied to the determination of silver in water with good results.  相似文献

New synthesized reagent 2,6‐diacetylpyridine bis‐4‐phenyl‐3‐thiosemicarbazone (2,6‐DAPBPTSC) is proposed as a sensitive and selective analytical reagent for the extractive spectrophotometric determination of cobalt(II). Cobalt(II) forms a reddish brown colored complex with 2,6‐DAPBPTSC, which is extracted into isoamylalcohol, under optimum conditions. The maximum absorption of the isoamylalcohol extract is measured at 400 nm. Beer's law is applied in the range 0.6‐6.0 ppm of cobalt(II). The molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivity of the complex is calculated as 2.2 × 104 L mol?1 cm?1 and 2.68 × 10?3 μg cm?2, respectively. An adequate linearity with a correlation coefficient value of 0.969 is obtained for the Co(II)‐2,6‐DAPBPTSC complex. The instability constant of the complex, calculated from Asmus' method is 3.75 × 10?4 The precision and accuracy of the method is checked with calculation of relative standard deviation (n = 5), 0.388 and the detection limit a value is 0.0028 μg mL?1. The method is successfully employed for the determination of cobalt(II) in real samples, such as vegetables, soil, water samples, standard alloy samples, and the performance of the present method was evaluated in terms of Student ‘t’ test and Variance ‘f’ test, which indicates the significance of the present method is an inter comparison of the experimental values, using atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS).  相似文献

A new, simple, rapid, sensitive, efficient and low‐cost spectrophotometric procedure for the determination of gold was developed. The method is based on the reaction of [AuCl4]? with 2‐[2‐(4‐dimethylaminophenyl)‐vinyl]‐1,3,3‐trimethyl‐3H‐indolium reagent to form a colored ion associate extractable by various organic solvents. The molar absorptivity of the ion associates is in the range (5.7–9.2) × 104 L mol?1 cm?1 depending on the extractant. Butyl acetate was chosen as the extractant. The optimum reaction conditions were established: pH 2–4, concentration of the dye reagent (0.8–1.5) × 10?4 mol L?1. The determination of gold is not hindered even by a 1000‐fold concentration of Ni and Co; a 500‐fold concentration of Pb and Zn; a 100‐fold concentration of Bi, Cu, Cd, Pt, Rh and Ru; or a 20‐fold concentration of Ag. The established method was applied to the determination of gold in model samples and enriched polymetallic ores.  相似文献

An ultrasound assisted emulsification microextraction (USAEME) is successfully used for extraction and determination of trace amount of iron in water and tea samples, followed by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (FAAS). In this approach, a new synthetic ligand dimetyl (E)‐2‐[(Z)‐1‐acetyl)‐2‐hydroxy‐1‐propenyl]‐2‐butenedioate (DAHPB) is used as chelating agent and chloroform is selected as an extraction solvent. The factors influencing the complex formation and extraction by USAEME method are optimized. These factors are extraction solvent type as well as extraction volume, time, temperature, pH, and the amount of chelating agent. Under optimum conditions, an enrichment factor of 202.9 is obtained from only 7.1 mL of aqueous phase. The calibration graph using the preconcentration system for iron is linear between 40.0 and 800.0 μg L?1 with a detection limit of 7.4 μg L?1. The relative standard deviation (R.S.D) for ten replicate measurements of 500.0 μg L?1 of iron is 2.5%.  相似文献

In the present paper novel column solid phase extraction procedure was developed for the determination of Cd(II) and Pb(II) in cows', goats', ewes', buffalos' and humans' milk samples using newly synthesized reagent 2,2′‐DPED3P (2,2′‐{[1,2‐diphenylethane‐1,2‐diylidene]dinitrilo}diphenol) for preconcentration and separation prior to differential pulse polarography using amberlite XAD‐2 in the ranges of pH 4.0–5.0. The sorbed elements were subsequently eluted with 10 mL of 2 M HCl elutes were analysed by differential pulse polarography (DPP). The interference of foreign ions has also been studied. Effects of various instrumental parameters are investigated and received conditions are optimized. The total metal concentration of the milk samples in the study area were in the following ranges 0.030–0.090 μg L?1 of Cd(II), 0.009–0.026 μg L?1 of Pb(II) respectively. The limits of detections were found to be 0.020 and 0.024 μg L?1 for Cd(II) and Pb(II) respectively by applying a preconcentration factor ~40. The proposed enrichment method was applied successfully for the determination of metal ions in cows', goats', ewes', buffalos' and humans' milk samples.  相似文献

A carbon paste electrode modified with 2‐aminothiazole functionalized poly(glycidylmethacrylate‐methylmethacrylate‐divinylbenzene) microspheres was used for trace determination of mercury, copper and lead ions. After the open‐circuit accumulation of the heavy metal ions onto the electrode, the sensitive anodic stripping peaks were obtained by square wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV)). Many parameters such as the composition of the paste, pH, preconcentration time, effective potential scan rate and stirring rate influence the response of the measurement. The procedures were optimized for most sensitive and reliable determinations of the desired species. For a 10‐min preconcentration time in synthetic solutions at optimum instrumental and experimental conditions, the detection limit (LOD) was 12.3, 2.8 and 4.5 μg L?1 for mercury, copper and lead, respectively. The limits of detection may be enhanced by increasing the preconcentration time. For example, LOD of mercury and copper was 4.9 and 1.0 μg L?1 for fifteen minutes preconcentration time. The sensitivity may also considered to be increased by using a more suitable electrode composition targeting the more conductive electrode with lesser amount of modified polymer for sub‐μg L?1 levels of heavy metal ions. The optimized method was successfully applied to the determination of copper in tap water and waste water samples by means of standard addition procedure. The copper content found was comparable with the certified concentration of the waste water sample. The calibration plots for mercury and lead spiked real samples were also drawn.  相似文献

A solid ion-pair material produced from 1,10-phenanthroline and tetraphenylborate on naphthalene provides a simple, rapid and fairly selective means of preconcentrating copper from up to 1000 ml of aqueous samples (about 200-fold concentration is possible). Copper is quantitatively adsorbed in the pH range 1.6–10.4 at a flow rate of 3 ml min?1. The solid mass (0.2 g) is dissolved from the column with 5 ml of dimethylformamide (DMF) and copper is measured by atomic absorption spectrometry at 324.7 nm. Linear calibration is obtained for 2–28 μg of copper in 5 ml of DMF solution. Replicate determination of 14 μg of copper gave a mean absorbance of 0.220 (n = 7) with a relative standard deviation of 1.5%. The sensitivity for 1% absorption was 0.093 μg ml?1. After optimization, the method was applied to determine trace copper in standard reference materials, natural waters, beverages and hair.  相似文献

A new cetyl‐alcohol‐reinforced hollow fiber solid/liquid‐phase microextraction (CA–HF–SLPME) followed by high‐performance liquid chromatography–diode array detection (HPLC–DAD) method was developed for simultaneous determination of ezetimibe and simvastatin in human plasma and urine samples. To prepare the CA–HF–SLPME device, the cetyl‐alcohol was immobilized into the pores of a 2.5 cm hollow fiber micro‐tube and the lumen of the micro‐tube was filled with 1‐octanol with the two ends sealed. Afterwards, the prepared device was introduced into 10 mL of the sample solution containing the analytes with agitation. Under optimized conditions, calibration curves plotted in spiked plasma and urine samples were linear in the ranges of 0.363–25/0.49–25 μg L?1 for ezetimibe/simvastatin and 0.193–25/0.312–25 μg L?1 for ezetimibe/simvastatin in plasma and urine samples, respectively. The limit of detection was 0.109/0.174 μg L?1 for ezetimibe/simvastatin in plasma and 0.058/0.093 μg L?1 for ezetimibe/simvastatin in urine. As a potential application, the proposed method was applied to determine the concentration of selected analytes in patient plasma and urine samples after medication and satisfactory results were achieved. In comparison with reference methods, the CA–HF–SLPME–HPLC–DAD method demonstrates considerable potential in the biopharmaceutical analysis of selected drugs.  相似文献

A new Cu(II) ion‐selective PVC membrane sensor based on 6‐methyl‐4‐(1‐phenylmethylidene)amino‐3‐thioxo‐1,2,4‐triazin‐5‐one (MATTO) as an excellent sensing material was developed. The electrode exhibits a Nernstian slope of 29.2±0.4 mV per decade over a very wide concentration range between 1.0×10?1 and 1.0×10?6 M, with a detection limit of 4.8×10?7 M (30.5 ng/mL). The sensor possesses the advantages of short conditioning time, fast response time (<10 s), and especially, very good selectivity towards transition and heavy metal, and some mono, di and trivalent cations. The proposed electrode was successfully applied to the determination of copper in wastewater of copper electroplating samples and as an indicator electrode in potentiometric titration of Cu(II) ions with EDTA.  相似文献

To the determination of trace amount of Cd(II) present in food and water samples, a selective and extractive spectrophotometric method were developed with 2,6‐diacetylpyridine‐bis‐4‐phenyl‐3‐thiosemicarbazone as a complexing agent. The yellowish orange colored metal complex, Cd(II)‐2,6‐DAPBPTSC with 1:1 (M:L) composition was extracted in to cyclohexanol at pH 9.5 and was shows maximum absorbance at λmax 390 nm. This method obeys Beer's law in the range of 1.12‐11.25 ppm with 0.972 correlation coefficient of Cd(II)‐2,6‐DAPBPTSC complex, which is indicates linearity between the two variables. The molar absorptivity and sandell's sensitivity were found to be 6.088 × 104 L mol?1 cm?1 and 0.0018 μg cm?2, respectively. The instability constant calculated from Asmus' method (1.447 × 10?4)at room temperature. The precision and accuracy of the method were checked by relative standard deviation (n = 5), 0.929 and its detection limit, 0.0060 μg mL?1. The interfering effects of various cations and anions were also studied. The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of Cd(II) in foods and water samples, and was evaluated its performance in terms of Student ‘t’ test and Variance ‘f’ test, which indicates the significance of present method. The inter comparison of the experimental values, using atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS), was also repoted.  相似文献

An amperometric method for the determination of the neurotoxic amino acid β‐N‐oxalyl‐L ‐α,β‐diaminopropionic acid (β‐ODAP) using a screen printed carbon electrode (SPCE) is reported. The electrode material was bulk‐modified with manganese dioxide and used as a detector in flow injection analysis (FIA). The enzyme glutamate oxidase (GlOx) was immobilized in a Nafion‐film on the electrode surface. The performance of the biosensor was optimized using glutamate as an analyte. Optimum parameters were found as: operational potential 440 mV (vs. Ag/AgCl), flow rate 0.2 mL min?1, and carrier composition 0.1 mol L?1 phosphate buffer (pH 7.75). The same conditions were used for the determination of β‐ODAP. The signal was linear within the concentration range 53–855 μmol L?1 glutamate and 195–1950 μmol L?1 β‐ODAP. Detection limits (as 3σ value) for both analytes were 9.12 and 111.0 μmol L?1, respectively, with corresponding relative standard deviations of 3.3 and 4.5%. The biosensor retained more than 73% of its activity after 40 days of on‐line use.  相似文献

A solid ion-pair material produced from tetradecyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride (TDBA) and ammonium thiocyanate on naphthalene provides a simple, rapid and selective technique of preconcentrating cobalt from up to 200 ml of aqueous solution. Cobalt reacts with sodium 1-nitroso-2-naphthol-3,6-disulphonate (nitroso-R salt) to form a brown, water-soluble chelate anion. The chelate anion forms a water-insoluble Co-nitroso-R salt-TDBA complex on naphthalene packed in a column and trace cobalt is quantitatively retained on the naphthalene in the pH range 2.7–11.0 at a flow-rate of 2 ml min?1. The solid mass is stripped from the column with 5 ml of dimethylformamide (DMF) and cobalt is measured by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) at 241 nm. The calibration graph is linear over the concentration range 0.5–15μg Co in 5 ml of dimethylformamide solution. Seven replicate determinations of 9 μg of cobalt gave a mean absorbance of 0.095 with a relative standard deviation of 1.7%. The sensitivity for 1% absorption was 0.0834μg ml?1 (0.240 μg ml?1 for direct AAS on the aqueous solution). The proposed method was utilized for the determination of cobalt in standard aluminium alloys and steel samples.  相似文献

A second‐derivative spectrophotometric method based on zero‐crossing over technique is developed in simultaneous determination of copper(II) and nickel(II) ions. Methylthymol blue (MTB) as a chromogenic reagent and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as a surfactant were used, and measurements were carried out in buffered solution at pH 6 and at a temperature of 25 °C. The amplitude of derivative spectra was measured at wavelengths of 631.9 and 587.7 nm for the simultaneous determination of Ni2+ and Cu2+, respectively. Linearity was obtained in the range of 0.5–5.0 μg mL?1 for both ions in the presence of 0.0–5.0 μg mL?1 of the other ion as an interfering ion. IUPAC detection limits for Cu2+ and Ni2+ ions were obtained at 0.48 and 0.43 μg mL?1, respectively. The proposed procedure has been applied successfully for the simultaneous determination of copper and nickel in synthetic binary mixtures and real samples.  相似文献

A new method for the determination of isoniazid by using 1,2‐naphthoquinone‐4‐sulfonic sodium as the chemical derivative chromogenic reagent is established. The method is based on a condensation reaction to measure the pink compound produced by the reaction of isoniazid with 1,2‐naphthoquinone‐4‐sulfonic sodium in pH 13.00 buffer solution. The stoichiometric ratio of the compound is 1:1, and its maximum absorption wavelength is at 460 nm, ? = 1.18 × 104 L·mol?1 cm?1. Beer's law is perfectly obeyed in the range of 0.50?30 μg.mL?1 of isoniazid. The linear regression equation is A = 0.0185 + 0.11056C (mol.L?1), with 0.9994 of a linear regression correlation. The detection limit is 0.40 μg.mL?1, RSD is 0.48%, and average recovery is over 99.3%. This paper further optimizes the determination of isoniazid compared to the previous methods, and the kinetic property and reaction mechanism are studied intensively. This proposed method has been successfully applied to the determination of isoniazid in tablets of isoniazid with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Quantitative determination of amphetamine in plasma by the use of a novel electrophoric derivatization reagent, o‐(pentafluorobenzyloxycarbonyl)‐2,3,4,5‐tetrafluorobenzoyl chloride is described. Amphetamine can be quantitatively measured down to 49 pg/mL plasma using only 250 μL of sample due to the extraordinary sensitivity of the derivatives under negative ion chemical ionization MS. Plasma samples were made alkaline with carbonate buffer and treated with n‐hexane and reagent solution for 20 min, which, after concentration was measured by negative ion chemical ionization GC‐MS. The method is rapid as extraction and derivatization occur in one single step. [2H5]‐Amphetamine was used as an internal standard. Validation data are given to demonstrate the usefulness of the assay, including specificity, linearity, accuracy and precision, benchtop stability, freeze–thaw stability, autosampler stability, aliquot analysis, and prospective analytical batch size accuracy.  相似文献

A novel host reagent of β‐cyclodextrin‐2,4‐dihydroxyacetophenone‐phenylhydrazine(β‐CDP‐DHPH) was synthesized and characterized by IR and 1H NMR spectra. A highly selective and sensitive spectrofluorimetric determination of trace amounts of cadmium was proposed based on the reaction between Cd2+ and β‐CDP‐DHPH at pH 10.0. The molar ratio of β‐CDP‐DHPH to Cd2+ was 1:1. The linear range of this method was 0.56‐120 μg·L?;1 with a detection limit of 0.20 μg·L?;1. The interferences of 39 common ions in the determination of cadmium were investigated, and the results showed that the host reagent had a quite high selectivity. This method was rapid and simple in determination of trace amounts of cadmium in mineral, tap and river water.  相似文献

Novel PVC membrane (PME) and coated graphite (CGE) Cu2+‐selective electrodes based on 5,6,7,8,9,10‐hexahydro‐2H‐1,13,4,7,10‐benzodioxatriazacyclopentadecine‐3,11(4H,12H)‐dione are prepared. The electrodes reveal a Nernstian behavior over wide Cu2+ ion concentration ranges (1.0×10?7–1.0×10?1 M for PME and 1.0×10?8–1.0×10?1 M for CGE) with very low limits of detection (7.8×10?8 M for PME and 9.1×10?9 M for CGE). The potentiometric responses are independent of the pH of the test solutions in the pH range 2.7–6.2. The proposed electrodes possess very good selectivities for Cu2+ over a wide variety of the cations including alkali, alkaline earth, transitions and heavy metal ions. The practical utility of the proposed electrodes have been demonstrated by their use in the study of interactions between copper ions and human growth hormone (hGH) in biological systems, potentiometric titration of copper with EDTA and determination of copper content of a sheep blood serum sample and some other real samples.  相似文献

An extraction‐spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of copper and cobalt based on their extraction into n‐pentanol with 0. carboxyphenylhydrazoethylacetoacetate (O.CPHEAA) was per formed. Copper was extracted from pH 6.0 – 8.0 and ionic strength 0.5 M – KCl. The maximum absorption of the extracted Cu(II) ‐ O.CPHEAA complex (1:1 & 1:2 species) occurs at 415 nm. The proposed method succeeded in as saying a concentration of 3–63 μg per 10 mL of n‐pentanol (? = 1.25 × 104L mol?1 cm?1). The method failed to ex tract cobalt ion into various organic sol vents over a pH range of 2–11. The suggested method is highly selective and sensitive according to a wide scheme of interference studied. Copper in some plant samples was accurately estimated using the suggested method. The obtained results and the results of the AAS method were consistent. The reproducibility test shows a relative standard deviation of 1%. Sandell sensitivity for A = 0.001 is 5 × 10?3 μg cm?2.  相似文献

Abstract

A solid chelating compound phenanthrenequinone monoxime PQM) supported on naphthalene provides a rapid and economical means of preconcentration and separation of copper from the aqueous samples. Copper forms a complex with PC:: supported on naphthalene in the column at pH 6.1–8.4 with a flow rate of 1 ml/min. The metal complex and naphthalene are dissolved out from the column with 5 ml of DMF and the absorbance is measured at 470 nm against reacent blank. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range 0.6 9.6 μg of copper in 5 ml of DMF. The molar absorptivity and sensitivity are 6.3×104 L mol?1 cm?1 and 0.001 μg cm?2 respectively.  相似文献

In this study, trace amounts of aluminum in serum of dialysis patients were chelated with 2‐Amino‐3‐(1H‐imidazol‐4‐yl)propanoic acid (Histidine) and determined by electro‐thermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS). A fast and efficient method based on ionic liquid dispersive liquid‐liquid bio‐micro‐extraction (IL‐DLLBME) was developed for the determination of Al cation in human blood serum samples. In this work, a small amount of 1‐Hexyl‐3‐methylimmidazolum hexafluorophosphate ([HMIM] [PF6]) as an extractant solvent was dissolved in acetone as a dispersant solvent and then the binary solution was rapidly injected by a syringe into the serum containing Al3+,Which have already in‐vitro chelated by Histidine amino acid (Al‐His) at pH = 6.5. After separation, the settled IL‐phase was dissolved in ethanol up to 200 μL and 20 μL of samples injected into the ET‐AAS by auto‐sampler. Various parameters have been studied and optimized for 10 mL of sample. Under the optimum conditions, the enrichment factor (EF), limit of detection (LOD) and working range (peak area mode) were obtained 53, 15 ng L?1 and 0.05‐4.1 μg L?1 respectively. In vitro Al chelation showed that His can significantly decrease aluminum concentration in serum of dialysis patients. Validation of methodology was confirmed by standard reference material (SRM).  相似文献
