球面Hardy空间上Riesz平均的逼近

引进了球面Hrady空间上Riesz平均算子及Peetre K模。讨论了Riesz平均算子在Hardy空间上的逼近性质。证明了Riesz平均算子与Peetre K模的强渐近等价关系。所得结果表明Peetre K模完全刻划了Riesz平均的逼近。     

On the order of approximation by Riesz means in multiplicative systems in the classes E X [ɛ]

We establish the order of approximation by Riesz means of the Fourier series in a multiplicative system of a class of functions with given majorant of the sequence of best approximations. In some cases, approximations by Riesz means and best approximations are considered in a specific space, but, in other cases, approximations by Riesz means are considered in spaces with a stronger norm.     

AN f-ALGEBRA APPROACH TO THE RIESZ TENSOR PRODUCT OF ARCHIMEDEAN RIESZ SPACES

Abstract

We construct the Riesz tensor product of Archimedean Riesz spaces and derive its properties using functional calculus and f-algebras. We improve results on the approximation of elements in the Riesz tensor product by means of elements in the vector space tensor product in such a way that the order density property is a consequence of the improved approximation result.

研究了球面带型平移网络逼近阶用球面调和多项式的最佳逼近及光滑模的刻画问题．借助于球调和多项式的最佳逼近多项式和Riesz平均构造出了单位球面Sq上的带形平移网络,并建立了球面带形平移网络对Lp(Sq)中函数一致逼近的Jackson型定理．所得结果表明球面带形平移网络可以达到球调和多项式的逼近阶．

Strong summability of fourier series of the periodic functions from H p (0<p≤1)

Exact estimates of the rate of approximation by the strong Riesz means are given, a new formula for theK-functional of the couple of spaces is found, two-sided estimates of approximation are proved.     

Fractional Derivatives and Best Approximation

We relate fractional derivatives of some operators to the rate of best approximation from a space of eigenfunctions of those operators. This is done via the introduction of "fractional" K-functionals and appropriate Riesz means. Continuous simultaneous approximations and fractional Kolmogorov-type inequalities are also achieved.

Equiconvergence Theorems for Sturm Liouville Expansions and Sets of Divergence for Bochner Riesz Means in Sobolev Spaces

We state some equiconvergence results between Bochner Riesz means of expansions in eigenfunctions of suitable Sturm Liouville operators. Then we determine the Hausdorff dimension of the divergence set of Bochner Riesz means of radial functions in Sobolev classes on Euclidean and non Euclidean spaces.     

State reconstruction of a distributed parameter system with exact observability

We study the problem of state reconstruction for exactly observable systems. Here we present two approaches for state reconstruction, the Riesz basis approach and the dual Hilbert uniqueness method (HUM) based on an iteration algorithm. The Riesz basis approach gives an explicit representation of the initial state of the system, whereas the HUM dual method gives an efficient approximation of the initial state.     

带弱奇异核非线性积分微分方程的有限元分析

讨论了带弱奇异核的非线性抛物积分微分方程的Hermite型各向异性矩形元逼近.在各向异性网格下导出了关于Riesz投影的L~2和H~1模的误差估计.在半离散和向后欧拉全离散格式下,基于Riesz投影的性质并利用平均值技巧,分别得到了L~2模意义下的最优误差估计.     

Stability and Convergence of an Implicit Difference Approximation for the Space Riesz Fractional Reaction-Dispersion Equation

In this paper,we consider a Riesz space-fractional reaction-dispersion equation (RSFRDE).The RSFRDE is obtained from the classical reaction-dispersion equation by replacing the second-order space derivative with a Riesz derivative of orderβ∈(1,2]. We propose an implicit finite difference approximation for RSFRDE.The stability and convergence of the finite difference approximations are analyzed.Numerical results are found in good agreement with the theoretical analysis.     

A new numerical approach for single rational soliton solution of Chen‐Lee‐Liu equation with Riesz fractional derivative in optical fibers

In this paper, time‐splitting spectral approximation technique has been proposed for Chen‐Lee‐Liu (CLL) equation involving Riesz fractional derivative. The proposed numerical technique is efficient, unconditionally stable, and of second‐order accuracy in time and of spectral accuracy in space. Moreover, it conserves the total density in the discretized level. In order to examine the results, with the aid of weighted shifted Grünwald‐Letnikov formula for approximating Riesz fractional derivative, Crank‐Nicolson weighted and shifted Grünwald difference (CN‐WSGD) method has been applied for Riesz fractional CLL equation. The comparison of results reveals that the proposed time‐splitting spectral method is very effective and simple for obtaining single soliton numerical solution of Riesz fractional CLL equation.     

On moduli of smoothness and <Emphasis Type="Italic">K</Emphasis>-functionals of fractional order in the Hardy spaces

We prove the equivalence of special moduli of smoothness and K-functionals of fractional order in the space H _p , p > 0. As applications, we obtain an analog of the Hardy–Littlewood theorem and the sharp estimates of the rate of approximation of functions by generalized Bochner–Riesz means.     

Growth properties for generalized Riesz potentials of functions satisfying Orlicz conditions

Riesz decomposition theorem says that superharmonic functions on the punctured unit ball are represented as the sum of generalized (Newtonian) potentials and harmonic functions. In this paper we study growth properties near the origin of spherical means for generalized Riesz potentials of functions satisfying Orlicz conditions in the punctured unit ball.     

Seminorms on ordered vector spaces that extend to Riesz seminorms on larger Riesz spaces

As a generalization of the notion of Riesz seminorm, a class of seminorms on directed partially ordered vector spaces is introduced, such that (1) every seminorm in the class can be extended to a Riesz seminorm on every larger Riesz space that is majorized and (2) a seminorm on an order dense linear subspace of a Riesz space is in the class if and only if it can be extended to a Riesz seminorm on the Riesz space. The latter property yields that if a directed partially ordered vector space has an appropriate Riesz completion, then a seminorm on the space is in the class if and only if it is the restriction of a Riesz seminorm on the Riesz completion. An explicit formula for the extension is given. The class of seminorms is described by means of a notion of solid unit ball in partially ordered vector spaces. Some more properties concerning restriction and extension are studied, including extension to L- and M-seminorms.     

Wavelets and framelets from dual pseudo splines

Dual pseudo splines constitute a new class of refinable functions with B-splines as special examples.In this paper,we shall construct Riesz wavelet associated with dual pseudo splines.Furthermore,we use dual pseudo splines to construct tight frame systems with desired approximation order by applying the unitary extension principle.     

Almost—Everywhere convergence of Bochner—Riesz means in Bessel potential spaces

In this paper, we consider the almost everywhere convergenc of Bochner—Riesz means below the critical index in Bessel potential spacesL _a ^p (1≤p≤2 anda>0) and find out the relation between the index of Bochner—Riesz means and the degree of smoothness of functions.     

The divergence of spectral decompositions connected with homogeneous elliptic operators

In this work an asymptotic formula is obtained for the means of the Riesz spectral function of a homogeneous elliptic operator of arbitrary order m≥2 with constant coefficients. Conditions are obtained under which localization (and convergence) of the means of the Riesz spectral decompositions of functions from the Hölder class is absent.     

Operators in pre-Riesz spaces: moduli and homomorphisms

We focus on two topics that are related to moduli of elements in partially ordered vector spaces. First, we relate operators that preserve moduli to generalized notions of lattice homomorphisms, such as Riesz homomorphisms, Riesz* homomorphisms, and positive disjointness preserving operators. We also consider complete Riesz homomorphisms, which generalize order continuous lattice homomorphisms. Second, we characterize elements with a modulus by means of disjoint elements and apply this result to obtain moduli of functionals and operators in various settings. On spaces of continuous functions, we identify those differences of Riesz* homomorphisms that have a modulus. Many of our results for pre-Riesz spaces of continuous functions lead to results on order unit spaces, where the functional representation is used.
