Our efforts toward the development of the synthesis of a novel type of receptor ligand and its tetrasubstituted phthalocyanines, 2,9,16,23-tetrakis(6-hydroxyhexylsulfanyl) phthalocyanine, M[Pc(S–C6H13OH)4] (M = Zn(II), Cu(II), Co(II)), bearing sulfur and oxygen donor atoms on the periphery together with hexyl moieties, have been carried out together with spectroscopic and electrochemical characterization. The newly synthesized functional phthalocyanines were soluble in MeOH, EtOH, THF, DMF, CNP (α-chloronapthalene), DMSO and quinoline, and less soluble in i-PrOH and CH3CN. Cation binding abilities of the functional phthalocyanines with Ag+, Pd2+, Hg2+ and Cd2+, resulting in the formation of polynuclear phthalocyanine complexes, were evaluated by UV–Vis spectroscopic techniques. The spectroscopic properties of the complexes were affected strongly by the electron-donating sulfanyl units on the periphery. The cyclic voltammetry of the complexes were examined on a platinum electrode in DMSO. The new synthesized compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, FTIR, 1H and 13C NMR, MS (ESI and MALDI-TOF) and UV–Vis spectral data.  相似文献

Five acetate-diphenoxo triply-bridged CoII-LnIII complexes (LnIII = Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er) of formula [Co(μ-L)(μ-Ac)Ln(NO3)2] and two diphenoxo doubly-bridged CoII-LnIII complexes (LnIII = Gd, Tb) of formula [Co(H2O)(μ-L)Ln(NO3)3]·S (S = H2O or MeOH), were prepared in one pot reaction from the compartmental ligand N,N′,N′′-trimethyl-N,N′′-bis(2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-5-methylbenzyl)diethylene triamine (H2L). The diphenoxo doubly-bridged CoII-LnIII complexes were used as platforms to obtain 1,5-dicyanamide-bridged tetranuclear CoII-LnIII complexes (LnIII = Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er). All exhibit ferromagnetic interactions between the CoII and LnIII ions and in the case of the GdIII complexes, the JCoGd were estimated to be ∼+0.7 cm−1. Compound 3 exhibits slow relaxation of the magnetization.  相似文献

A series of mono- and heterodinuclear complexes of type MLnH2 and MLnM′ where M = CoIII, CrIII, ZnII and M′ = CuII, ZnII have been synthesized and characterized. The non-macrocyclic ligands LnH4 contain two geometrically distinct compartments, hexa- (N4O2) and tetradentate (O4) compartments which are bridged by phenolic oxygen atoms. The dinuclear complexes were prepared in stepwise reactions. The non-macrocyclic ligand showed a site specificity of metal ions upon the synthetic procedure. The results obtained reveals that in case of using ligand L2H4 only an isomer (trans-pyridines and cis-phenolates) among three possible geometrical isomers is formed. The metal site scrambling in the prepared complexes were not also observed in the reaction conditions used. The crystal structure of [CrIIIL2H2]ClO4 was determined and discussed.  相似文献

The complexes (μ3-L1/L2)[Ru(acac)2]3, acac = 2,4-pentanedionato, L1 = 2,3,8,9,14,15-hexachlorodiquinoxalino[2,3-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine and L2 = 2,3,8,9,14,15- hexamethyldiquinoxalino[2,3-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine, undergo stepwise one-electron oxidation involving a total of three electrons and stepwise one-electron reduction with three (L2) or four electrons (L1). All reversibly accessible states were characterized by UV–Vis–NIR spectroelectrochemistry. Oxidation leads to mixed-valent intermediates {(μ3-L)[Ru(acac)2]3}+ and {(μ3-L)[Ru(acac)2]3}2+ of which the RuIIIRuIIRuII combinations exhibit higher comproportionation constants Kc than the RuIIIRuIIIRuII states – in contrast to a previous report for the unsubstituted parent systems {(μ3-L3)[Ru(acac)2]3}+/2+, L3 = diquinoxalino[2,3-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine. No conspicuous inter-valence charge transfer absorptions were observed for the mixed-valent intermediates in the visible to near-infrared regions. The monocations and monoanions were characterized by EPR spectroscopy, revealing rhombic ruthenium(III) type signals for the former. Electron addition produces ruthenium(II) complexes of the reduced forms of the ligands L, a high resolution EPR spectrum with 14N and 35,37Cl hyperfine coupling and negligible g anisotropy was found for {(μ3-L1)[Ru(acac)2]3}. DFT calculations of (μ3-L1)[Ru(acac)2]3 confirm several ligand-centered low-lying unoccupied MOs for reduction and several metal-based high-lying occupied MOs for electron withdrawal, resulting in low-energy metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) transitions.  相似文献

The effect of the nature of organic electron transfer agents and of PtII, PdII, RhII, CoII, NiII, CuII, CrIII, MnII, TiIII, VIII, ZnII, and AgI metal ions on the kinetics of the homogeneous reduction ofgem-dichlorocyclopropanes has been studied. PtII, PdII, RhIII, CoII, and NiII ions accelerate this process, VIII and AgI ions exert practically no effect on the reduction rate, and the rest of the metal ions exhibit inhibitor properties.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. A novel alcohol-soluble ionophore ligand and its non-peripherally tetrasubstituted functional 1,8,15,22-tetrakis(6-hydroxyhexylsulfanyl) metallophthalocyanines M[Pc(α-SC6H12OH)4] (M = Cu(II), Zn(II), Co(II); Pc = phthalocyanine) are reported. The aggregation and cation binding behaviors of the phthalocyanine compounds in the presence of soft AgI and PdII metal ions were investigated by using UV–Vis spectroscopy. The new compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H, 13C NMR, UV/Vis spectroscopy, ESI and MALDI–TOF–MS mass spectra. Voltammetric and in-situ spectroelectrochemical studies show that while copper and zinc phthalocyanine complexes give well-defined ring-based reduction and oxidation processes, the cobalt phthalocyanine gives both metal-based and ring-based redox processes which have reversible and diffusion controlled character.  相似文献

The synthesis and physico-chemical characterization of Fe(II) and Mn(II) complexes of 2-[4,6-di(tert-butyl)-2,3-dihydroxyphenylsulfanyl]acetic acid (HLI) and 2-[4,6-di(tert-butyl)-2,3-dihydroxyphenylsulfinyl]acetic acid (HLII) were carried out. The investigation of the molecular and electronic structure of Cu(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), Fe(II) and Mn(II) complexes has been performed within the density functional theory (DFT) framework. The computed properties were compared to the experimental ones, and molecular structures of the compounds were proposed based on the array of spectral data and quantum chemical calculations. Antibacterial activity of the Fe(II) and Mn(II) complexes was evaluated in comparison with Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) complexes and three standard antibiotics; it was found to follow the order: (1) Сu(LI)2 > Mn(LI)2 > HLI > Ni(LI)2 > Zn(LI)2 > Fe(LI)2 > Co(H2O)2LI; (2) Cu(LII)2 > Сo(LII)2 > Ni(LII)2 > Mn(H2O)2(LII)2 > Fe(LII)2 > HLII > Zn(LII)2; their reducing ability (determined electrochemically) followed the same order. Spectrophotometric investigation was carried out in order to estimate the rate of the reduction of bovine heart сytochrome c with the ligands and their metal(II) complexes. The complexes Сu(LI)2, Mn(LI)2 and Co(LII)2 with the high reducing ability were found to be characterized by the highest rates of Cyt с reduction. NADPH:cytochrome P450-reductase had no substantial effect on the rate of сytochrome c reduction with HLI and HLII ligands.  相似文献

A new alcohol soluble functionalized vic-dioxime, bis-[(1-hydroxyhexyl)-(8,9-hydroxyimino)-7,10-dithiahexacosane (LH2), and its alcohol-soluble mono and dinuclear complexes (NiII, CuII, CoII, MnII, PdII and UO 2 II ) have been prepared from 6-mercapto-1-hexanol and (E,E)-dichloroglyoxime under high dilution basic conditions. Reactive polyalcohol moieties appended at the periphery of the oxime containing two different heteroatoms (S-, O-), serve as a weak exocyclic binding sites for PdII and AgI metal ions and also provide solubility for the vic-dioxime complexes in low molecular-weight alcohols. Both mono-nuclear (LH)2M and homodinuclear (LH)2(UO2)2(OH)2 and heterotrinuclear (LH)2MM 2 Xn, where M = CoII M′ = PdII, X = Cl, n = 4 and AgI X = NO 3 , n = 2) complexes have been obtained with a 1:2, 2:2, 3:2 metal/ligand ratio, respectively. Electronic spectra of the modified vic-dioximes exhibit monitorable changes in UV. All mono and dinuclear-complexes are soluble in common organic solvents. The elemental analysis, 1H-n.m.r, i.r., u.v–vis, and f.a.b.–m.s data and by cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry measurements are presented.  相似文献

The novel mixed ligand complexes [Ca(hfa)2(diglyme)(H2O)] (I), [Sr(hfa)2(diglyme)(H2O)] (II) and [Ba(hfa)2(diglyme)2] (III) (Hhfa = 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoropentane-2,4-dione, diglyme = 2,5,8-trioxanonane) were synthesized by the reactions of the alkaline earth element (AEE) carbonates in n-hexane with a mixture of Hhfa and diglyme, and they were characterized by elemental analysis, 1H and 13C NMR, and FTIR spectroscopy. The crystal structures of IIII, consisting of mononuclear isolated molecules, have been determined. The thermal behavior and composition of the vapor phase have been studied for IIII by thermal analysis at low pressure and mass spectrometry using a Knudsen cell. The stability of the mixed ligand complexes [M(hfa)2(diglyme)n] to the removal of diglyme molecules under heating decreases in the row I > II ≈ III, and only I evaporates as the mixed ligand complex after water removal.  相似文献

3,4-Di-(2′-hydroxyethoxy)-4′-nitrobenzylidene II was prepared by condensation reaction of 3,4-dihydroxy-4′-nitrobenzylidene I with 1-chloro-2-ethanol. Monomer II was reacted with p-phenylene diisocyanate to yield polyurethane containing the non-linear optical chromophore 3,4-di-(2′-hydroxyethoxy)-4′-nitrobenzylidene. Polymer III shows thermal stability up to 300 °C in TGA thermogram. Tg value of the polymer obtained from DSC thermogram was 110 °C. The resulting polyurethane III was soluble in common organic solvents such as acetone, DMF and DMSO. The values of electro optic coefficient d33 and d31 of the poled polymer film were 3.15 × 10 −7 and 1.5 × 10 −7 esu, respectively.  相似文献

The syntheses of new cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc) complexes, tetra-substituted with diethylaminoethanethio at the peripheral (complex 3a) and non-peripheral (complex 3b) positions, and with benzylmercapto at the non-peripheral position (complex 5), are reported. The effects of the nature and position of substituent on the spectral, electrochemical and spectroelectrochemical properties of these complexes are investigated. Solution electrochemistry of complex 3a showed three distinctly resolved redox processes attributed to CoIIIPc−2/CoIIPc−2 (E½ = +0.64 V versus Ag|AgCl), CoIIPc−2/CoIPc−2 (E½ = −0.24 V versus Ag|AgCl) and CoIPc−2/CoIPc3 (E½ = −1.26 V versus Ag|AgCl) species. No ring oxidation was observed in complex 3a. Complex 3b showed both ring-based oxidation, attributed to CoIIIPc−1/CoIIIPc−2 species (Ep = +0.86 V versus Ag|AgCl), and ring-based reduction associated with CoIPc−2/CoIPc−3 species (E½ = −1.46 V versus Ag|AgCl), with the normal metal-based redox processes in CoPc complexes: CoIIIPc−2/CoIIPc−2 (Ep = +0.41 V versus Ag|AgCl) and CoIIPc−2/CoIPc−2 (E½ = −0.38 V versus Ag|AgCl). Solution electrochemistry of complex 5 showed the same type and number of species observed in complex 3a: CoIIIPc−2/CoIIPc−2 (Ep = +0.59 V versus Ag|AgCl), CoIIPc−2/CoIPc−2 (E½ = −0.26 V versus Ag|AgCl) and CoIPc−2/CoIPc−3 (E½ = −1.39 V versus Ag|AgCl) species. These processes were confirmed using spectroelectrochemistry.  相似文献

Co(II) complexes with 4,6-di(tert-butyl)-2-aminophenol (HLI) and 2-anilino-4,6-di(tert-butyl)phenol (HLII) have been synthesized and characterized by means of physico-chemical methods. The compounds HLI and HLII coordinate in their singly deprotonated forms and behave as bidentate O,N-coordinated ligands; their low-spin Co(II) complexes are characterized by CoN2O2 coordination modes and square planar geometry. Both the free ligands and their Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes (we have produced and characterized the latter before) exhibit a pronounced antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger, Fusarium spp., Mucor spp., Penicillium lividum, Botrytis cinerea, Alternaria alternata, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Monilia spp., which in a number of cases is comparable with that of Nystatin and Terbinafine or even higher. The reducing properties of the ligands and their metal(II) complexes, as well as their antifungal activities, were found to decrease in the order: Cu(LI)2 > Cu(LII)2 ? Co(LI)2 > Co(LII)2 > HLI > HLII.  相似文献

A series of imidzoalium salt, L · HCl, for the potentially bidentate pyrazole/N-heterocyclic carbene was synthesized. Reactions of a 2:1 mixture between L · HCl bearing bulky N-substitution and Ag2O produced Ag(L)Cl, whereas a novel compound with unique stoichiometry AgL2(AgCl)0.5Cl was produced from L · HCl bearing N-methyl group under identical condition. Reactions of L · HCl with PdCl2 produced zwitterionic PdIICl3L · H. Selected structural determinations on L · HCl, Ag(L)Cl, AgL2(AgCl)0.5Cl, and PdIICl3L · H revealed intriguing crystal chemistry in which the less-stable gauche rotamers were obtained exclusively. A preliminary application of the zwitterionic complexes, PdIICl3L · H, in Heck coupling reaction of aryl bromide with n-butyl acrylate shows effective activity.  相似文献

Reaction of five N,N′-bis(aryl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamides (H2L-R, where H2 denotes the two acidic protons and R (R = OCH3, CH3, H, Cl and NO2) the para substituent in the aryl fragment) with [Ru(trpy)Cl3](trpy = 2,2′,2″-terpyridine) in refluxing ethanol in the presence of a base (NEt3) affords a group of complexes of the type [RuII(trpy)(L-R)], each of which contains an amide ligand coordinated to the metal center as a dianionic tridentate N,N,N-donor along with a terpyridine ligand. Structure of the [RuII(trpy)(L-Cl)] complex has been determined by X-ray crystallography. All the Ru(II) complexes are diamagnetic, and show characteristic 1H NMR signals and intense MLCT transitions in the visible region. Cyclic voltammetry on the [RuII(trpy)(L-R)] complexes shows a Ru(II)–Ru(III) oxidation within 0.16–0.33 V versus SCE. An oxidation of the coordinated amide ligand is also observed within 0.94–1.33 V versus SCE and a reduction of coordinated terpyridine ligand within −1.10 to −1.15 V versus SCE. Constant potential coulometric oxidation of the [RuII(trpy)(L-R)] complexes produces the corresponding [RuIII(trpy)(L-R)]+ complexes, which have been isolated as the perchlorate salts. Structure of the [RuIII(trpy)(L-CH3)]ClO4 complex has been determined by X-ray crystallography. All the Ru(III) complexes are one-electron paramagnetic, and show anisotropic ESR spectra at 77 K and intense LMCT transitions in the visible region. A weak ligand-field band has also been shown by all the [RuIII(trpy)(L-R)]ClO4 complexes near 1600 nm.  相似文献

Four azide bridged dinuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu2(LX)2(N3)2](ClO4)2, with LX = substituted N,N-bis[(3,5-dimethylpyrazole-1-yl)-methyl]benzylamine, [X = H (1), OMe (2), Me (3) and Cl (4)] have been synthesized, out of which complexes 1 and 2 have been characterized structurally. In Complex 1 the two bridging azide ligands have connected the two metal centers in an end-on (EO) fashion with aSP (asymmetric Square Pyramidal) geometry and showed an weak antiferromagnetic interaction (J = −3.34 cm−1). On the contrary, in complex 2, the two metal centers have been connected in end-to-end (EE) fashion exhibiting moderately strong ferromagnetic interaction (J = +19.7 cm−1). Cyclic voltammetric studies performed on all the four complexes show a reasonably good correlations when E1/2 for CuIICuII → CuIICuIII and CuIICuIII → CuIIICuIII oxidations are plotted against σ (substituent constants) with ρ = −0.182 (R= 0.92) and −0.684 (R= 0.99) respectively.  相似文献

The characteristic features of intramolecular spin exchange in 14 complexes of AgI, HgII, NiII, PdII, PtII, AuIII, and PtIV with spin-labeled ligands were studied by ESR spectroscopy. The measured values of the exchange integral ‖J‖ and the differences between the enthalpies of the efficient conformations (ΔH) were compared with the electronic polarization (refraction)R f of the NiII, PdII, and PtII ions and Klopman's rigidity parameters σK, which characterize the total polarazibility of the ions and the degree of covalence of the bond between the metal atom and the donor atom of the ligand, respectively. Delocalization of the electron spin density and the efficiency of spin exchange are determined by the relative contributions of the s, p, and d orbitals, which produce the overlap integral of wave functions, ‖J‖, and by the geometric features of the coordination polyhedron, which affect the mutual orientation of the N−O fragments. Comprehensive studies on the coordination properties of tridentate nitrenium‐based ligands are presented. N‐heterocyclic nitrenium ions demonstrate general and versatile binding abilities to various transition metals, as exemplified by the synthesis and characterization of RhI, RhIII, Mo0, Ru0, RuII, PdII, PtII, PtIV, and AgI complexes based on these unusual ligands. Formation of nitrenium–metal bonds is unambiguously confirmed both in solution by selective 15N‐labeling experiments and in the solid state by X‐ray crystallography. The generality of N‐heterocyclic nitrenium as a ligand is also validated by a systematic DFT study of its affinity towards all second‐row transition and post‐transition metals (Y–Cd) in terms of the corresponding bond‐dissociation energies.  相似文献

The reaction of [RuHCl(CO)(B)(EPh3)2] (where E = As, B = AsPh3; E = P, B = PPh3, py, pip, or mor) and dehydroacetic acid thiosemicarbazone (abbreviated as H2dhatsc where H2 stands for the two dissociable protons) in benzene under reflux afford a series of new ruthenium(II) carbonyl complexes containing dehydroacetic acid thiosemicarbazone of general formula [Ru(dhatsc)(CO)(B)(EPh3)] (where E = As, B = AsPh3; E = P, B = PPh3, py, pip or mor; dhatsc = dibasic tridentate dehydroacetic acid thiosemicarbazone). All the complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and 1H NMR spectral methods. The thiosemicarbazone of dehydroacetic acid behaves as dianionic tridentate O, N, S donor and coordinates to ruthenium via phenolic oxygen of dehydroacetic acid, the imine nitrogen of thiosemicarbazone and thiol sulfur. In chloroform solution, all the complexes exhibit metal-to-ligand charge transfer transitions (MLCT). The crystal structure of one of the complexes [Ru(dhatsc)(CO)(PPh3)2] (1) has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction which reveals the presence of a distorted octahedral geometry in the complexes. All the complexes exhibit an irreversible oxidation (RuIII/RuII) in the range 0.76-0.89 V and an irreversible reduction (RuII/RuI) in the range −0.87 to −0.97 V. Further, the free ligand and its ruthenium complexes have been screened for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. The complexes show better activity in inhibiting the growth of bacteria Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli and fungus Candida albicans and Aspergillus niger. These results made it desirable to delineate a comparison between free ligand and its ruthenium complexes.  相似文献

Two crystal structures of EuIII complexes with CDTA (trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetate), [C(NH2)3]3[Eu2(CDTA)2(H2O)2]ClO4 · 7H2O (I) and [C(NH2)3][Eu(CDTA)(H2O)] · 2.375H2O (II), are presented. Both structures are polymeric and the central metal ions are eight-coordinate. The first coordination sphere of each EuIII cation contains five carboxylate oxygen atoms, two nitrogen ones and a water molecule. For I, as well as for water solutions of the EuIII–CDTA complex at various pH values, the spectroscopic (UV–Vis) properties were investigated.  相似文献
