New (μ-oxo)bis[trichloroferrate(III)] dianions-based ionic compounds that contain various counterdications were synthesized and characterized with regards to their crystal structures, thermal properties, and magnetic susceptibility. These salts are soluble in polar solvents such as methanol and water. The melting point of these compounds is affected by the dication following the order of triphenylphosphinium > pyridinium > imidazolium dications, and symmetrical dicationic salts > unsymmetrical ones. In these compounds, the trichloroferrate dianion exists in either a linear or a bent form, which is affected by the dications. Interestingly, the dicationic diferrate compounds show magnetic coupling constants fairly smaller than those reported in literature for diferrate salts in which monocations are the counterion. Furthermore, unlike the diferrate salts associated with separate monocations, the linear diferrate dicationic compounds show magnetic coupling constant lower than that of bent diferrate dicationic salts.  相似文献

In an attempt to prepare binary and ternary compounds, we have obtained two molecular complexes [Ni(MEBIDA or MOBIDA)(H2O)3nH2O (n = 0 or 1) and two iso-type salts [Ni(Him)6][Ni(MEBIDA or MOBIDA)2]·4H2O [MEBIDA = N-(p-methylbenzyl)iminodiacetate(2−) and MOBIDA = N-(p-methoxybenzyl)iminodiacetate(2−) ligands, Him = imidazole]. Our results are discussed with regard to related copper(II) and nickel(II) compounds. The reasons for which these chelating ligands produce nickel(II) salts instead of ternary compounds remain unclear since other iminodiacetate-like ligands give true ternary Ni(II) compounds with imidazole and other N-heterocyclic ligands.  相似文献

Co(II) complexes with 4,6-di(tert-butyl)-2-aminophenol (HLI) and 2-anilino-4,6-di(tert-butyl)phenol (HLII) have been synthesized and characterized by means of physico-chemical methods. The compounds HLI and HLII coordinate in their singly deprotonated forms and behave as bidentate O,N-coordinated ligands; their low-spin Co(II) complexes are characterized by CoN2O2 coordination modes and square planar geometry. Both the free ligands and their Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes (we have produced and characterized the latter before) exhibit a pronounced antifungal activity against Aspergillus niger, Fusarium spp., Mucor spp., Penicillium lividum, Botrytis cinerea, Alternaria alternata, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Monilia spp., which in a number of cases is comparable with that of Nystatin and Terbinafine or even higher. The reducing properties of the ligands and their metal(II) complexes, as well as their antifungal activities, were found to decrease in the order: Cu(LI)2 > Cu(LII)2 ? Co(LI)2 > Co(LII)2 > HLI > HLII.  相似文献

Reduction by NaBH4 of the imine functions of (5,7,7,13-tetramethyl-13-nitro-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradec-4-ene)-nickel(II) and -copper(II), and of their 13-ethyl-5,7,7-trimethyl-homologues, yield the nitro-substituted cyclic tetraamine cations (5,5,7,13-tetramethyl-13-nitro-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane)-nickel(II) and -copper(II), [M(neh)]2+, and (13-ethyl-5,5,7-trimethyl-homologues, [M(nph)]2+, respectively. The nickel(II) cations form square–planar, singlet ground, state salts with poorly coordinating anions and octahedral, triplet ground state, compounds with additional ligands, trans-β-[Ni(neh)A2], A = Cl, NCS and trans-β-[Ni(neh)A2](ClO4)2, X = NH3, MeCN, all with nitrogen configuration III, 1R,4R,8S,11S = β. With oxalate the chain-polymeric compound catena-trans-β-[Ni(neh)(μ-C2O4)]n · 3n(H2O) is formed. Folded macrocycle compounds cis-α-[Ni(neh)(C5H7O2)]ClO4 and cis-α-[{Ni(neh)}2(C2O4)](ClO4)2 are formed with the chelates acetylacetonate and oxalate, with configuration 1R,4R,8R,11R = α. These react with HClO4 to form metastable α-[Ni(neh)](ClO4)2 with retention of configuration. The copper(II) cations form crimson salts with poorly coordinating anions and compounds of the type β-[Cu(neh)A]ClO4 of varying shades of blue with coordinating anions. Structures of singlet ground state square–planar nickel(II) compounds β-[Ni(neh)](ClO4)2 · H2O, β-[Ni(neh)](ClO4)2, β-[Ni(neh)]2[ZnCl3(OH2)]2[ZnCl4] · H2O and α-[Ni(neh)](ClO4)2, the triplet ground state chain-polymeric compound catena-trans-β-[Ni(neh)(μ-C2O4)]n · 3n(H2O) and of square–pyramidal β-[Cu(nph)Cl]ClO4 are reported.  相似文献

Complexes ML12 and ML22, with M = FeII, CoII, NiII, and 1,3-bis(2-R-tetrazol-5-yl)triazenide ligands L1 (R = Me) and L2 (R = tBu), have been synthesized by the reaction of corresponding 1,3-bis(2-R-tetrazol-5-yl)triazenes with metal(II) salts in basic media and characterized by IR, UV–Vis spectroscopy, thermal and X-ray diffraction analyses. Both 1,3-bis(2-R-tetrazol-5-yl)triazenes were found to deprotonate on coordination and act as tridentate chelating ligands forming distorted MN6 octahedra around metal(II) cations.  相似文献

Deep blue tetrachloronickelate(II) salts of 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium cations [Cnmim]+ with intermediate chain lengths (n = 5, 7, 8 and an n = 4/6 mixture) have been prepared from imidazolium chlorides and NiCl2. They are liquid at ambient temperatures (ca. 20 °C) and above, and display viscosities and thermal stability comparable to related [BF4] compounds. The similarities may reflect the compensating effects of the dinegative charge of the [NiCl4]2− ion and its larger size.  相似文献

In this article, a study of novel screen-printed electrodes bulk-modified with five potential bismuth precursor compounds (bismuth citrate, bismuth titanate, bismuth oxide, bismuth aluminate and bismuth zirconate) is presented for the determination of Cd(II) and Pb(II) by anodic stripping voltammetry. During the electrolytic deposition step, the precursor was reduced and served as the source of bismuth. Different key parameters were investigated in detail such as the nature of the bismuth precursor compound, the precursor content in the carbon ink, the polarisation range of the sensors, the supporting electrolyte, the stripping waveform, the deposition time, the deposition potential and the long-term stability of the sensors under continuous use. Using bismuth citrate as the precursor, the limit of detection was 0.9 μg L−1 for Pb(II) and 1.1 μg L−1 for Cd(II). The reproducibility on the same sensor (expressed as % relative standard deviation, (n = 8)) was 5.4% for Pb(II) and 7.2% for Cd(II) at the 20 μg L−1 level. Finally, the sensors were applied to the determination of Cd(II) and Pb(II) in water samples.  相似文献

Three new vic-dioximes, [L1H2], N-(4-ethylphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime, [L2H2], N-(4-butylphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime, and [L3H2], N-(4-methoxyphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime were synthesized from 1-acetyl-1-cyclohexeneglyoxime and the corresponding substituted aromatic amines. Metal complexes of these ligands were also synthesized with Ni(II), Cu(II), and Co(II) salts. These new compounds (ligands and complexes) were characterized with FT–IR, magnetic susceptibility measurement, molar conductivity measurements, mass spectrometry measurements, thermal methods (e.g. thermal gravimetric analysis), 1H NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) and 13C NMR spectral data and elemental analyses.  相似文献

Preparation of two imidazolium salts, two monomeric nickel(II) and one cobalt(II) complexes bearing imidazolium ligands is described, The solid-state structures of these compounds have determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. After activation with methylaluminoxane (MAO) the nickel complexes show moderate catalytic activities of up to 6 × 105 g PE mol−1Ni h−1 for polymerization of ethylene. Catalytic activities, molecular weights have been investigated under the various reaction conditions.  相似文献

The reaction of [M(H2L)2] [M = Ni(II) Cu(II)] (K+H2L = N-(pyridine-4-carbonyl)-hydrazine carbodithioate) with excess of ethylenediamine (en) gave mixed ligand complexes [Ni(en)2(4-pytone)2] (4-pytone = 5-(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thione), and [Cu(en)2](4-pytol)2·H2O (4-pytol = 5-(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiol). The metal complexes have been characterized with the aid of elemental analyses, IR, magnetic susceptibility and single crystal X-ray studies. Complexes (1) and (2) crystallize in monoclinic system, space group P1 21/n1 and C2/c, respectively. The ligand after cyclization is present in the deprotonated thiol form in the Cu(II) complex where it is ionically bonded through sulfur. In the Ni(II) complex (1) bonding of the ligand take place through oxadiazole nitrogen and the ligand exists as the thione form.  相似文献

The bzimpy iron(II) complexes, 1-3, containing branched long alkyl chains were synthesized and characterized in detail. The temperature-dependant magnetic susceptibility of 1 showed gradual spin crossover behavior from low spin to high spin state, while 2 retained only low spin state in the same condition. Interestingly, 3 displayed an abrupt spin transition in temperature range from T1/2↑ = 236 K to T1/2↓ = 230 K with the thermal hysteresis loop about 6 K. The differential scanning calorimetric analysis of 3 revealed two species of liquid crystal phase transitions at 236 K and 351 K, respectively.  相似文献

Complexes of general formula, [M(isa-sme)2] · n(solvate) [M = Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+, Cd2+; isa-sme = monoanionic form of the Schiff base formed by condensation of isatin with S-methyldithiocarbazate; n = 1 or 1.5; solvate = MeCN, DMSO, MeOH or H2O] have been synthesized and characterized by a variety of physicochemical techniques. An X-ray crystallographic structure determination of the [Ni(isa-sme)2] · MeCN complex reveals a six-coordinate, distorted octahedral geometry. The two uninegatively charged, tridentate, Schiff base ligands are coordinated to the nickel(II) ion meridionally via the amide O-atoms, the azomethine N-atoms and the thiolate S-atoms. By contrast, the crystal structure of [Zn(isa-sme)2] · MeOH shows a four-coordinate distorted tetrahedral geometry. The two dithiocarbazate ligands are coordinated as NS bidentate chelates with the amide O-atom not coordinated. The structure of the copper(II) complex [Cu(isa-sme)2] · DMSO is complicated and comprises two different complexes in the asymmetric unit, one four- and the other five-coordinate. The four-coordinate copper(II) has a distorted (flattened) tetrahedral geometry as seen in the Zn(II) analogue whereas the five-coordinate copper(II) has a distorted square-pyramidal geometry with one ligand coordinated to the copper(II) ion as a tridentate (NSO) ligand and the other coordinated as a bidentate NS chelate. EPR spectroscopy indicates that in solution only one form is present, that being a distorted tetrahedral complex.  相似文献

The synthesis and physico-chemical characterization of Fe(II) and Mn(II) complexes of 2-[4,6-di(tert-butyl)-2,3-dihydroxyphenylsulfanyl]acetic acid (HLI) and 2-[4,6-di(tert-butyl)-2,3-dihydroxyphenylsulfinyl]acetic acid (HLII) were carried out. The investigation of the molecular and electronic structure of Cu(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), Fe(II) and Mn(II) complexes has been performed within the density functional theory (DFT) framework. The computed properties were compared to the experimental ones, and molecular structures of the compounds were proposed based on the array of spectral data and quantum chemical calculations. Antibacterial activity of the Fe(II) and Mn(II) complexes was evaluated in comparison with Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Zn(II) complexes and three standard antibiotics; it was found to follow the order: (1) Сu(LI)2 > Mn(LI)2 > HLI > Ni(LI)2 > Zn(LI)2 > Fe(LI)2 > Co(H2O)2LI; (2) Cu(LII)2 > Сo(LII)2 > Ni(LII)2 > Mn(H2O)2(LII)2 > Fe(LII)2 > HLII > Zn(LII)2; their reducing ability (determined electrochemically) followed the same order. Spectrophotometric investigation was carried out in order to estimate the rate of the reduction of bovine heart сytochrome c with the ligands and their metal(II) complexes. The complexes Сu(LI)2, Mn(LI)2 and Co(LII)2 with the high reducing ability were found to be characterized by the highest rates of Cyt с reduction. NADPH:cytochrome P450-reductase had no substantial effect on the rate of сytochrome c reduction with HLI and HLII ligands.  相似文献

Reactions of [Ni(L)]Cl2 · 2H2O (L = 3,14-dimethyl-2,6,13,17-tetraazatricyclo[14,4,01.18,07.12]docosane) with isophthalic acid (H2isoph) and 1,3,5-cyclohexanetricarboxylic acid (H3chtc) yield the 1D nickel(II) complexes {[Ni(L)(isoph)] · 3H2O}n (1) and {[Ni(L)(H-chtc)] · H2O}n (2). The structures were characterized by X-ray crystallography, spectroscopic and magnetic susceptibility. The crystal structures of the 1D chain compounds 1 and 2 show an elongated distorted octahedron about each nickel(II) ion. The magnetic behavior of two compounds exhibits weak intrachain antiferromagnetic interaction with J values of −0.93 cm−1 for 1 and −1.28 cm−1 for 2. The electronic spectra of the complexes are significantly affected by the nature of the carboxylate ligands.  相似文献

Three cobalt(II) - benzoato (bz) complexes have been prepared and structurally characterized. In the mononuclear complex trans-[Co(bz)2(H2O)2(nca)2] the benzoato ligand is unidentate (nca = nicotinamide). The dinuclear complex [(μ2-bz)4{Co(qu)}2] is a structural analog of the copper acetate (qu = quinoline) where four bidentate benzoato ligands link two cobalt(II) pentacoordinate centers. The trinuclear complex of the composition [Co3(bz)6(inca)6] contains a central hexacoordinate {(bz)2Co(inca)2(bz)2} unit in which the bidentate benzoato ligands held the central and peripheral cobalt(II) centers (inca = iso-nicotinamide); the peripheral hexacoordinate {(bz)Co(inca)2<} units contain the terminal benzoato ligand in its bidentate function. The magnetic susceptibility data down to T = 2 K and the magnetization data up to B = 7 T reveal a considerable magnetic anisotropy due to the single-ion zero-field splitting.  相似文献

Four new heterometallic Cu(II)/Cr(III) complexes with N,N-dimethylethylenediamine (dmen) and its novel Schiff-base derivatives, N′-[(1Z)-3-amino-1,3-dimethylbutylidene]-N,N-dimethylethane-1,2-diamine (dmenac) and N′-((1Z)-3-{[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]amino}-1,3-dimethylbutylidene)-N,N-dimethylethane-1,2-diamine (dmen2ac), have been easily prepared by self-assembly and characterized by spectroscopic methods and single crystal X-ray analysis. The structures of all the complexes are assisted by numerous hydrogen bonds that provide a web of interactions and mould the supramolecular architectures of the compounds. Variable-temperature (1.8–300 K) magnetic susceptibility measurements reveal Curie-Weiss paramagnetic behavior of all the compounds, supported by EPR studies.  相似文献

Three zinc(II) nitrite coordination polymers, [Zn(4-bpdb)(NO2)2]n (1), {[Zn(3-bpdb)(NO2)]·0.5H2O}n (2) and [Zn(3-bpdh)(NO2)2]n (3), 4-bpdb = 1,4-bis(4-pyridyl)-2,3-diaza-1,3-butadiene, 3-bpdb = 1,4-bis(3-pyridyl)-2,3-diaza-1,3-butadiene and 3-bpdh = 2,5-bis(3-pyridyl)-3,4-diaza-2,4-hexadiene} were prepared and characterized by elemental analyses and IR spectroscopy. Compound 3 was structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and is one-dimensional polymer with coordination environments of distorted octahedral, ZnN2O4. The thermal stabilities of compounds 1–3 were studied by thermal gravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analyses (DTA). Direct calcination of the compounds 1–3 at 600 °C under air atmospheres yields different morphologies of nano-sized ZnO.  相似文献

We report for the first time the synthesis of bismuth-modified (3-mercaptopropyl) trimethoxysilane (MPTMS) and its application for the determination of lead and cadmium by anodic stripping voltammetry. Xerogels made from bismuth-modified MPTMS and mixtures of it with tetraethoxysilane, under basic conditions (NH3·H2O), were characterized with scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy and electrochemical methods. Bismuth-modified xerogels were mixed with 1.5% (v/v) Nafion in ethanol and applied on glassy carbon electrodes. During the electrolytic reductive deposition step, the bismuth compound on the electrode surface was reduced to metallic bismuth. The target metal cations were simultaneously reduced to the respective metals and were preconcentrated on the electrode surface by forming an alloy with bismuth. Then, an anodic voltammetric scan was applied in which the metals were oxidized and stripped back into the solution; the voltammogram was recorded and the stripping peak heights were related to the concentration of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions in the sample. Various key parameters were investigated in detail and optimized. The effect of potential interferences was also examined. Under optimum conditions and for preconcentration period of 4 min, the 3σ limit of detection was 1.3 μg L−1 for Pb(II) and 0.37 μg L−1 for Cd(II), while the reproducibility of the method was 4.2% for lead (n = 5, 10.36 μg L−1 Pb(II)) and 3.9% for cadmium (n = 5, 5.62 μg L−1 Cd(II)). Finally, the sensors were applied to the determination of Cd(II) and Pb(II) ions in water samples.  相似文献

A nano-sized mixed-ligand Cd(II) coordination polymer, {[Cd(bpa)(4,4′-bipy)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2}n (1); bpa = trans-1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane and 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine, has been synthesized by a sonochemical method and characterized by IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. Compound 1 grows in one dimension by two different bridging ligands, 4,4′-bipy and bpa. The thermal stability of compound 1 in the bulk form and nano-sized was studied by thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analysis (DTA). The crystallinity of this compound was studied by X-ray powder diffraction and compared with an XRD simulation of the single crystal data. CdO nanoparticles were obtained by direct calcination at 500 °C and decomposition in oleic acid at 200 °C of the nano-sized compound 1. The obtained cadmium(II) oxide nano-particles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).  相似文献

Cis-diaquobis{di-(2-pyridyl)-N-ethylimine}nickel(II) chloride (2) was obtained from the reaction of di-(2-pyridyl)-N-ethylimine (1) and [NiCl2dppe] [dppe = cis-1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethylene] in a 2:1 ratio in hot acetonitrile. Cis-dichloro{di-(2-pyridyl)-N-ethylimine}palladium(II) (3) and cis-dichloro{di-(2-pyridyl)-N-ethylimine}platinum(II) (4) complexes were obtained from the reaction of MCl2 (M = Pd, Pt) and (1) in equimolar ratio in hot acetonitrile. Compounds 1–4 were characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and mass spectrometry; the complexes 3 and 4 were characterized in solution by NMR. In addition, solid state structures of compounds 14 were determined using single crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. X-ray diffraction data of the complexes 3 and 4 showed a distorted square planar local geometry at palladium and platinum atoms with the chlorine atoms in a cis-coordination; in 2 a local octahedral geometry at nickel atom was observed. Complexes 3 and 4 are arranged as dimers with a M?M distance of 3.4567(4) Å (M = Pd) and 3.4221(4) Å (M = Pt), respectively; 2 consists of units linked by intermolecular hydrogen bonding.  相似文献
