A new vic-dioxime ligand bearing an important pharmacophore substituent, anti-1-(4-benzylpiperazine-1-yl) phenylglyoxime (LH2) (Scheme 1), has been synthesized and its nickel(II) complex was obtained by the reaction of NiCl2·6H2O and the ligand. The characterization of the newly formed compounds was performed by elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1D NMR (1H, 13C, DEPT), 2D NMR (HMBC), ESI mass-spectrometry, TG/DTA, X-ray crystallography. The antibacterial activity was also studied against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Streptococcus mutans RSHM 676, Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 29212, Lactobacillus acidophilus RSHM 06029, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, E. coli ATCC 35218, Pseudomonasaeruginosa ATCC 27853. The antimicrobial test results indicated that all the compounds have mild antibacterial activity against both Gram negative and Gram positive bacterial species.  相似文献

A new calix[4]pyrrole functionalized vic-dioxime, 3-(4-methyl-9,9,14,14,19,19-hexaethylcalix[4]pyrrole)benzoaminoglyoxime (LH2) was synthesized from anti-chloroglyoxime and 3-aminophenyl-calix[4]pyrrole at room temperature. The mononuclear complexes {nickel(II), copper(II) and cobalt(II)} of this vic-dioxime ligand were prepared and their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR and UV–Vis spectrophotometry, magnetic susceptibility; the MS, 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the LH2 ligand and its Ni(II) complex were also recorded. The experimental results indicated that the ligand:metal ratio was 2:1 in the cases of Ni(II), Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes as is with most vic-dioximes. Electrochemical properties of the ligand, and its complexes were investigated in DMSO solution by cyclic voltammetry at 200?mV?s?1 scan rate.  相似文献

Two new vic-dioxime ligands bearing an important redox-active substituent, anti-β-ferrocenylethylaminoglyoxime (1a) and anti-β-ferrocenylethylaminophenylglyoxime (1b), have been synthesized, and their Ni(II), Cu(II) and Co(II) (2a-4a, 2b-4b) complexes were obtained. The composition and structure of the products were determined by elemental analysis, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis), mass spectrometry (MS), one-dimensional (1D) 1H, 13C NMR, and two-dimensional (2D) heteronuclear multiple bond correlation (HMBC) techniques. The redox behaviors of the ligands and their complexes were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV), which revealed that all the ferrocenyl redox centers are electrochemically independent and undergo a quasi-reversible oxidation at similar potentials. Also, antibacterial activity was studied against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213, Streptococcus mutans RSHM 676, Enterococcus faecalis ATCC 29212, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853. The antimicrobial test results indicated that all the compounds have mild levels of antibacterial activity against both gram negative and gram-positive bacterial species.  相似文献

The synthesis of a new vic-dioxime ligand, N,N2-dihydroxy-O 1,O 2-bis(4-methyl-2-oxo-2H-chromen-7-yl)oxalimidamid (LH2) (1), bearing functional coumarins and its soluble mono- {Ni(II), Cu(II), Co(II)} and dinuclear {UO2(II)} complexes are presented. The fluorescence properties due to the 7-hydroxy-4-methylcoumarin fluorophore, which is conjugated with vic-dioxime that functions as the MN4 core of 1 and its complexes, are also reported. The formation of coordination complexes resulted in the blue shift in excitation spectrum and fluorescence quenching of 1. Both mononuclear {(LH)2M, M=Ni(II), Cu(II), and Co(II)} and homodinuclear {(LH)2(UO2)2(OH)2)} complexes have been obtained with metal?:?ligand ratios of 1?:?2 and 2?:?2, respectively. The characterizations of the new compounds were made by elemental analysis, 1H-NMR, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and LCMS data. Redox behavior of 1, involving oxime and coumarin moieties, and its complexes with Ni(II), Cu(II), Co(II) and UO2(II) were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The comparison of the electrochemical behavior of 1 with its complexes enabled us to identify metal-, oxime- and coumarin-based signals.  相似文献

A new vic-dioxime ligand, N,N′-bis(aminopyreneglyoxime) (LH2), and its copper(II), nickel(II) and cobalt(II) metal complexes were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, UVVIS and 1H and 13C NMR spectra (for the ligand). Mononuclear complexes were synthesized by a reaction of ligand (LH2) and salts of Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) in ethanol. The complexes have the metal-ligand ratio of 1: 2 and metals are coordinated by N,N′ atoms of vicinal dioximes. The ligand acts in a polydentate fashion bending through nitrogen atoms in the presence of a base, as do most vic-dioximes. Detection of a H-bonding in the Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) complexes by IR revealed the square-planar MN4 coordination of mononuclear complexes. Fluorescent properties of the ligand and its complexes arise from pyrene units conjugated with a vic-dioxime moiety. Fluorescence emission spectra of the ligand showed a drastic decrease in its fluorescence intensity upon metal binding. The electrochemical properties of the complexes were studied by the cyclic voltammetry technique. The nickel complex displayed an irreversible oxidation process while the copper complex exhibited a quasi-reversible oxidation and reduction processes based on the copper Cu(II)/Cu(III) and Cu(II)/Cu(I) couples, respectively.  相似文献

Two vic-dioxime ligands, N-(4-benzylpiperazine-1-yl) p-tolylglyoxime (L1H2) and N,N′-bis(4-benzylpiperazine-1-yl) glyoxime (L2H2), containing piperazine moieties were synthesized, and their Ni(II), Cu(II), Co(II) and Zn(II) complexes were obtained. The ligands were characterized by elemental analysis, Fourier transform–infrared (FT-IR), ultraviolet–visible NMR (1H, 13C, and heteronuclear multiple-bond correlation), and electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectrometry. The isolated complexes were characterized by a combination of elemental analysis, IR, UV-vis, and ESI mass spectrometry and in the case of Ni(II) and Zn(II) complexes by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The electrochemical behaviors of the ligands and their complexes were studied by cyclic voltammetry (CV) in dimethylsulfoxide solution containing tetrabutylammoniumtetrafluoroborate (TBATFB). The antibacterial activity was also studied against S. aureus ATCC 25923, S. aureus ATCC 29213, S. mutans RSHM 676, E. faecalis ATCC 29212, E. coli ATCC 25922, and P. aeruginosa ATCC 27853. The antimicrobial test results indicated that all the compounds have good antibacterial activity against P. auriginosa ATCC 27853 bacteria and were as effective as ampicilin.

A novel vic-dioxime ligand containing the thiourea group, (4E,5E)-1,3-bis{4-[(4-methylphenylamino)methyl] phenyl}- 2-thiooxaimidazoline-4,5-dione dioxime, (4) mmdH2 has been prepared from N,N′-bis{4-[(4-methylphenylamino)methyl]phenyl}thiourea, (3) mft and cyanogen di-N-oxide. Mononuclear [M(mmdH)2], where M = NiII, CoII and CuII complexes of the (4) mmdH2 bidentate ligand have been obtained with a 1:2 metal:ligand ratio, as do most the vic-dioximes. The complexes are formed by coordination of N, N atoms of the ligand. The vic-dioxime ligand and its some transition metal complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, molar conductance data, magnetic susceptibility, i.r., 1H-n.m.r and u.v.–vis. spectroscopy. Conductivity measurements have shown that mononuclear complexes are non-electrolytes. In addition, the ligands and metal complexes were screened for antibacterial and antifungal activities by agar well diffusion techniques using DMF as solvent.  相似文献

A new alcohol soluble functionalized vic-dioxime, bis-[(1-hydroxyhexyl)-(8,9-hydroxyimino)-7,10-dithiahexacosane (LH2), and its alcohol-soluble mono and dinuclear complexes (NiII, CuII, CoII, MnII, PdII and UO 2 II ) have been prepared from 6-mercapto-1-hexanol and (E,E)-dichloroglyoxime under high dilution basic conditions. Reactive polyalcohol moieties appended at the periphery of the oxime containing two different heteroatoms (S-, O-), serve as a weak exocyclic binding sites for PdII and AgI metal ions and also provide solubility for the vic-dioxime complexes in low molecular-weight alcohols. Both mono-nuclear (LH)2M and homodinuclear (LH)2(UO2)2(OH)2 and heterotrinuclear (LH)2MM 2 Xn, where M = CoII M′ = PdII, X = Cl, n = 4 and AgI X = NO 3 , n = 2) complexes have been obtained with a 1:2, 2:2, 3:2 metal/ligand ratio, respectively. Electronic spectra of the modified vic-dioximes exhibit monitorable changes in UV. All mono and dinuclear-complexes are soluble in common organic solvents. The elemental analysis, 1H-n.m.r, i.r., u.v–vis, and f.a.b.–m.s data and by cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry measurements are presented.  相似文献

A new vic-dioxime ligand containing benzophenone hydrazone units, N′-(benzophenone hydrazone)glyoxime [LH2] has been prepared from benzophenone hydrazone and anti-chloroglyoxime in absolute ethanol. Mononuclear nickel(II), cobalt(II), copper(II), zinc(II), and cadmium(II) complexes were also synthesized. Ligand and complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, FT-IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopy, magnetic moments, and DTA/TG techniques. On the basis of the magnetic and spectral evidences a square-planar geometry for Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes, tetrahedral for Cd(II) and Zn(II) complexes, and octahedral for Co(II) complex were proposed. Redox behaviors of ligand and its complexes were also investigated by cyclic voltammetry at the glassy carbon electrode.  相似文献

A new soluble vic-dioxime ligand namely 1,4-bis(2′-hydroxyethyl)-2,3-bis(hydroxyimino)-5,6-diphenylpiperazine, (LH2) containing optically active centers has been prepared as a mixture of isomers from (CNO)2 and N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)stilbendiamine (1) which has been made by the reduction of the condensation of the product of benzaldehyde and 2-aminoethanol in the presence of aluminum amalgam. N,N-coordinated planar metal complexes of this ligand have been synthesized with NiII, CuII, CoII, PdII and UVIO2. Oxidation of (LH)2Co in the presence of a base, such as pyridine, leads to an octahedral complex (LH)2CopyCl containing pyridine and chloride as axial ligands in addition to vic-dioxime ligands. The structures of the ligand and its complexes are proposed on the basis of elemental analysis, 1H-n.m.r., mass, i.r. and u.v.–vis. spectral data. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

A novel vic-dioxime ligand with a thiourea moiety, (4E,5E)-1,3-bis{4-[(4-bromophenylamino)methylene]phenyl}-2-thiooxaimidazoline-4,5-dione dioxime (4) (bmdH2) has been synthesized from N,N′-bis{4-[(4-bromophenylamino)methylene]phenyl}thiourea and (E,E)-dichloroglyoxime. The bmdH2 ligand (4) forms transition metal complexes [M(bmdH)2] with a metal?:?ligand ratio of 1?:?2 with M?=?Ni(II), Co(II), and Cu(II). The mononuclear Ni(II), Co(II) and Cu(II) complexes, [Ni(bmdH)2] (5), [Co(bmdH)2] (6) and [Cu(bmdH)2] (7) have the metal ions coordinated through the two N,N atoms, as do most vic-dioximes. Elemental analyses, molar conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, IR, 1H NMR spectra, and UV-Visible spectroscopy were used to elucidate the structures of the ligand and its complexes. Conductivity measurements have shown that the mononuclear complexes are non-electrolytes. In addition, the ligands and metal complexes were screened for antibacterial and antifungal activities by agar well diffusion techniques using DMF as solvent.  相似文献

A new vic-dioxime 1,4,7-oxadithiononane-5,6-dionedioxime (H2L) was prepared from reaction of 2,2-oxydiethanthiol with dichloroglyoxime. Mononuclear complexes of H2L with Ni(II), Co(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) were also prepared and their structures were determined by means of 1H?NMR, 13C?NMR, IR, and mass spectroscopy. Ni(II), Co(II), and Cu(II) form square planar complexes of 1?:?2 molar ratio of metal to ligand through N,N-chelation, while Zn(II) and Cd(II) form 1?:?1 tetrahedral complexes with a N,O-chelation.  相似文献

The first Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes incorporating diselenophosphate (dsep) ligands are presented. Treatment of M(II) (M = Pd, Pt) salts with two equivalents of the dsep ligand in CH2Cl2 yielded square-planar compounds of the type M[Se2P(OR)2]2 (M = Pd, Pt; R = Et, iPr, nPr) (1a2c). These complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction (1b and 2b). The dsep ligands coordinate to the metal in an approximately isobidentate fashion and form four-membered Se–P–Se–M chelate rings. Structural elucidations indicated that minute differences exist in the M–Se bond distances and these were observed from solution 31P NMR studies, which exhibited two sets of satellites arising from one-bond coupling to 77Se nuclei. A packing diagram showed a chain-like motif which was composed of square-planar M[Se2P(OR)2]2 units and occurred via non-covalent Se?Se secondary interactions.  相似文献

In this study, the novel vic-dioxime ligand (3) and its Ni(II), Cu(II), Co(II), Cd(II) and Zn(II) complexes (48) were synthesized for the first time by condensation reactions of N-(4-aminophenyl)aza-15-crown-5 (1) and anti-chlorophenylchloroglyoxime (2). All of these new compounds were characterized by the elemental analysis, Fourier transform infrared, ultraviolet–visible, mass spectrometry, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and magnetic susceptibility measurements. The electrochemical properties of the ligand and its complexes have been investigated by cyclic voltammetry at the glassy carbon electrode in 0.1 M TBATFB in DMSO.  相似文献

Tungsten(VI) and molybdenum(VI) complexes [MO(L1)Cl2] and [M(X)(L2)Cl3] (X = O, NPh) with tridentate aminobis(phenolate) ligand L1 = methylamino-N,N-bis(2-methylene-4,6-dimethylphenolate) and bidentate aminophenolate ligand L2 = 2,4-di-tert-butyl-6-((dimethylamino)methyl)phenolate) were prepared and characterised. These complexes are principally stable in open atmosphere under ambient conditions. When activated with Et2AlCl, they exhibited high activity in ring-opening metathesis polymerisation (ROMP) of 2-norbornene (NBE) and its derivatives. Especially complexes [M(NPh)(L2)Cl3], which are easily available from corresponding metal oxides MO3 by a simple three-step synthesis, were found very efficient ROMP catalysts for NBE (M = Mo, W) and 2-norbornen-5-yl acetate (M = Mo).  相似文献
