提出了一种利用窄线宽激光作为测量光源,对光学谐振腔自由光谱区、腔内共振激光波长进行精密测量而得到光学谐振腔腔长的方法。对光学谐振腔腔长的测量理论进行了严格推导,通过理论模拟对测量条件及结果进行了分析讨论。以自行研制的线宽为1.9Hz、频率不稳定度为1.7×10-14 s-1、中心波长为1550nm的窄线宽激光作为光源,对长度约100mm的光学谐振腔腔长进行了精密测量。对光学谐振腔自由光谱区进行测量,得到其腔长为0.10024407m、精度为22nm;对光学谐振腔腔内共振激光波长进行测量,得到其腔长为0.1002440884m、精度为0.21nm,精度相对提高了2个量级。提出的方法有望促进基础物理研究、材料的物理属性精密测量及光纤传感等领域的发展。 相似文献

模拟了强流电子束泵浦下,激光腔内的反应动力学过程,及不同注入时间、不同注入强度下注入锁定的激光生成、放大和输运过程。对实际非稳腔使用了一维伸展近似,并采用了预估—校正方法对光子输运方程进行求解。模拟结果表明,激光生成阶段,注入种子光源后,激光输出质量明显改善,使自发辐射部分受到了明显的抑制。得到了在不同注入强度、注入时间以及放大倍数下的激光输出的光谱特性,能量及各种效率的关系。发现锁定效果最佳时的注入时间出现在小信号增益峰值处。 相似文献

Thermally stable region of a seven-rod resonator is theoretically investigated. A plane-plane symmetric resonator, where the distance between two neighbor rods is two times of that between the rods and the mirrors, is adopted because of its large stable range. Based on the investigation, a seven-rod resonator with an average output power of 3.79 kW and an optical-to-optical efficiency of 53% is developed. 相似文献

Numerical simulation and experimental investigation of the process of parametric generation of light inside a KTP crystal
excited by laser pulses have been performed. The calculation method includes the solution of a system of coupled truncated
equations, which describe the three-wave interaction in a laser resonator partially filled with a KTP crystal, with the use
of reflection boundary conditions for amplitudes together with initial conditions corresponding to the level of noises. The
time profile of the intensities of the interacting pulses and their energies were calculated. The results obtained make it
possible to determine the optimal values of optical parameters of the resonator that ensure the maximum efficiency of conversion.
The calculated values of the conversion efficiency are in good agreement with experimental data.

Abstract A detailed theoretical analysis is presented to characterize wave propagation at 1,550 nm inside a glass (SiO2) microring resonator implemented using photonic crystal technology. A photonic crystal reflection is used at each microring resonator corner to enhance the bending efficiency. The characteristics of both photonic crystal beam splitter and microring resonator bending losses are analyzed and investigated using both effective refractive index and finite difference time domain methods. Analytical expressions are also derived to describe the field enhancement inside the microring resonator, the transfer function of the microring resonator, and the main parameters characterizing the resonator such as resonator band width and quality factor. The analysis is also extended to characterize a drop filter implemented using photonic crystal-based microring resonator. The results indicate clearly that the effective refractive index method can give accurate results if one starts the calculations with finite difference time domain-estimated beam splitter parameters. Further, bending efficiency as high as 99% can be obtained using a ten-post layer photonic crystal mirror at each microring resonator corner. 相似文献

Simulation time is one of the bottlenecks of finite-difference-time-domain (FDTD) method. There are several ways of reducing the simulation time, one of which is the usage of graphical processing unit (GPU). Thus in this paper we present comparison between two free FDTD software packages. One is based on central processing unit and other is based on GPU. The 3D test structures we analyzed were metallic rectangular cavity resonator and microring resonator based refractive index sensor. The comparison between two FDTD software packages is made with regard to simulation time and numerical accuracy. It is shown that both packages agree in numerical results and that GPU based FDTD implementation performs same simulation up to 18 times faster. 相似文献

A novel Smith-Purcell(S-P) free electron laser composed of an electron gun,a semi-elliptical resonator,a metallic reflecting grating and a collector,is presented for the first time.This paper studies the characteristics of this device by theoretical analysis and particle-in-cell simulation method.Results indicate that tunable coherent S-P radiation with a high output peak power at millimeter wavelengths can be generated by adjusting the length of the grating period,or adjusting the voltage of the electron beam.The present scheme has the following advantages:the semi-elliptical resonator can reflect all radiation with the emission angle θ and random azimuthal angles,back onto the electron beam with same-phase and causes the electrons to be modulated,so the output power and efficiency are improved. 相似文献
