The distinct molecular regions of a set of 28 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) showing varying degrees of carcinogenic activity (CA) have been analyzed on the basis of their calculated molecular electrostatic potential (MESP) at B3LYP/6-31+G(d,p) level of theory. The MESP, being a property directly related to electron density, clearly distinguishes the electron dense centers in the molecule into K, L, M, and newly defined N regions. Further, a quantitative structure activity relationship (QSAR) model of carcinogenicity is developed using the volume of MESP lobes at the named regions for a set of 17 carcinogenic molecules with experimentally known CA index. The QSAR equation suggested that all the geometrical regions are significant in determining the carcinogenic property of PAHs. The model clearly showed that K and M regions have activating carcinogenic effect whereas L and N regions have deactivating carcinogenic effect. The CA showed considerable enhancement when any three distinct regions are present in a PAH. On the other hand, all the PAH systems with only one type of region are inactive irrespective of whether the region is activating or deactivating. Similarly, molecules showing the presence of two types of regions are either inactive or weakly active. The essential features of both the "K, L region" and the "bay region" theories of carcinogenesis are well evident in the new QSAR model, as the former theory works on the basis of activating K and deactivating L regions whereas the latter theory is related with the activating M region.  相似文献

Recently, 5-chloromethylfurfural (CMF) was proposed as a central intermediate in the conversion of carbohydrate-based material into useful organic commodities. In the present work, we have calculated the thermochemistry using the highly accurate G4 theory and several state-of-art density functional theory (DFT) methods (e.g., X1, M06-2X, B2PLYP-D, and XYG3) for the conversion from CMF to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) and levulinic acid (LA) in water, and that to biofuels 5-ethoxymethylfurfural (EMF) and ethyllevulinate (EL) in alcohol. New reaction mechanisms have been proposed, which complement the well-recognized Horvat mechanisms. The assessment of DFT methods suggested that XYG3 be a viable method for biomass related thermochemistry calculations.  相似文献

为建立氯代芳烃对戈卑鱼毒性相关的QSAR模型,分析了22种氯代芳烃的结构特征,计算了各个分子的分子连接性指数.通过多元线性逐步回归分析研究,筛选了其中4种分子连接性指数~0X,~2X,~3X和~4X_(PC),建立了这4种指数与氯代芳烃对戈卑鱼毒性的定量结构-活性相关的QSAR模型,方程的相关系数R=0.979,判定系数R_(adj)~2=0.959,标准误差S=0.134,经检验该模型具有良好的稳定性和预测能力.  相似文献

Summary In this theoretical work, we consider the geometrical, electronic and energetic properties of some lithium and beryllium derivatives. The standard heats of formation of these compounds have been calculated at the MP4=SDTQ/6-31+G(2df, p)//MP2=FULL/6-31G(d, p) level. The values obtained at this level of the theory are also compared with the heats of formation deduced from a composite procedure in which it is assumed that some corrections can be treated separately and combined in an additive manner. We find that the values determined with the complete 6-31+G(2df, p) basis set are the more accurate.  相似文献

In this paper, we report the results of equilibrium pressure measurements designed to identify the volatile species in the Cr-O-H system and to resolve some of the discrepancies in existing experimental data. In addition, ab initio calculations were performed to lend confidence to a theoretical approach for predicting the thermochemistry of chromium-containing compounds. Equilibrium pressure data for CrO2(OH)2 were measured by the transpiration technique for the reaction 0.5Cr2O3(s) + 0.75O2(g) + H2O(g) = CrO2(OH)2(g) over a temperature range of 573 to 1173 K at 1 bar total pressure. Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) was used to analyze the condensate in order to quantify the concentration of Cr-containing volatile species. The resulting experimentally measured thermodynamic functions are compared to those computed using B3LYP density functional theory and the coupled-cluster singles and doubles method with a perturbative correction for connected triple substitutions [CCSD(T)].  相似文献

用INDO系列方法对自由基C59N及双体(C59N)2进行了理论研究,结果表明: N的掺入使C60笼发生畸变, N向笼外突出, 碳氮6-6键上的C自旋密度较大, 两C59N自由基在这个碳上以C-C单键连接形成双体为C2h, C2v对称性。其中C2v构型更稳定, 且N与附近的三个碳均以单键连接。理论计算的电子光谱与实验吻合较好。(C59N)2易分解为单体C59N。  相似文献

We report the theoretical analysis results of thermochemical properties of solvated Li+ ion in propylene carbonate (PC), which is one of the most popular solvents used in the lithium-ion battery composite. In the theoretical calculation, we employed the density functional theory method with the 6-31G basis set using the Gaussian03 package. It has been made clear that the solvation with four PC molecules around a Li+ ion is most favorable. Detailed results of the conventional quantum chemical analyses for these materials will also be presented. Thermochemical properties such as the standard (that is at 298.15 K and 101325 Pa) enthalpy, entropy, and Gibbs energy changes upon the formation of Li+ complexes solvated with PC molecules have been numerated and discussed. Furthermore, we will afford the features of desolvation of the solvated Li+ ion complexes when they interact with the carbon electrode modeled by ovalene molecules.  相似文献

The results of a theoretical study of the molecular structure and conformational mobilities of the peroxynitrate CF(2)BrCFBrOONO(2) and its radical decomposition product CF(2)BrCFBrOO are reported in this paper. The most stable structures were calculated from ab initio G3(MP2)B3 and G4(MP2) methods and from density functional theory at the B3LYP/6-311+G(d) and B3LYP/6-311+G(3df) levels of theory. The equilibrium conformation of CF(2)BrCFBrOONO(2) indicates that the bromine atoms lie in position anti to each other and possess a COON dihedral angle of 114°. A quantum statistical analysis shows that about 40% of the internal rotors can freely rotate at room temperature. Our best values for the standard enthalpies of formation of CF(2)BrCFBrOONO(2) and CF(2)BrCFBrOO at 298 K obtained from isodesmic reactions at the G3(MP2)//B3LYP/6-311+G(3df) level of theory are -144.7 and -127.0 kcal mol(-1). From these values and the enthalpy of formation of the NO(2) radical, a CF(2)BrCFBrOO-NO(2) bond dissociation enthalpy of 26.0 ± 2 kcal mol(-1) was estimated.  相似文献

运用分子对接和分子动力学方法研究二甲基精氨酸二甲胺水解酶-1(DDAH-1)与其抑制剂亚胺基烯丁基-L-鸟氨酸(L-VNIO)和亚胺基丙基-L-鸟氨酸(Me-L-NIO)的相互作用和结合模式,并根据实验得到的结论设计了亚胺基苯乙基-L-鸟氨酸(Ph-L-NIO)抑制剂.结果表明:L-VNIO比Me-L-NIO对DDAH-1的抑制效果更强,这个结果与实验测得L-VNIO和Me-L-NIO对DDAH-1的半抑制浓度IC50值大小一致.Phe75、Asp78、His172、Ser175和Asp268这五个氨基酸残基在三种抑制剂形成的复合物中起到非常重要的作用,从计算结果推断在这三个抑制剂中我们设计得到的Ph-L-NIO对DDAH-1的抑制效果最好.  相似文献

为了研究富勒烯金属包合物Be@C74的结构和电子性质,本文采用密度泛函理论B3LYP方法优化了Be@C74的结构,计算了它的势能面、LUMO-HOMO、电子亲和势、电子化能以及Mulliken集居数。结果表明:Be原子位于C74笼中心并且近似保持基态的电子构型;Be原子和C74笼之间是相互排斥作用;Be原子包入C74笼中心后,C74笼只有微小的变形;包合物Be@C74笼的给予和得到电力的能力与C74空笼几乎不变;Be与C74笼之间只有微小的杂化。  相似文献

The standard (p° = 0.1 MPa) molar enthalpies of combustion of 1-(2H)-phthalazinone and phthalhydrazide, both in the solid phase, were measured at T = 298.15 K by static bomb calorimetry. Further, the standard molar enthalpies of sublimation, at T = 298.15 K, of these two phthalazine derivatives were derived from the Knudsen effusion technique. The combustion calorimetry results together with those obtained from the Knudsen effusion technique, were used to derive the standard molar enthalpies of formation, at T = 298.15 K, in the gaseous phase for 1-(2H)-phthalazinone and phthalhydrazide, respectively as, (79.1 ± 1.8) kJ · mol?1 and ?(107.4 ± 2.4) kJ · mol?1.  相似文献

Density functional (B3LYP) calculations using the 6-31++g basis set have been employed to study the title reaction between the cationic 1,3-dipolar 1-aza-2-azoniaallene ion (H2C=N(+)=NH) and ethene. Our calculations confirmed that [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction takes place via a three-membered ring intermediate. In addition, solvent effects and substituent effects were also studied. For the reactions involving tetrachloroethene, there are two attacking sites. One is on the NH group in the 1-aza-2-azoniaallene ion, another is on its terminal CH2 group, and they are competitive for both approaching positions. Electron-releasing methyl substituents on ethene favor the reaction, and the potential energy surface is quite different from the previous one.  相似文献

Systematic studies on eight isomers of C70O were performed by means of INDO methods. It has been indicated that the O atom is mainly added to the C1-C2 or C3-C3 bond and an epoxide feature with Cs symmetry is formed. Based on the optimized geometries, the UV-Vis spectra were calculated. It has been found that the main peaks of C70O resemble those of C70 and the characteristic absorptions beyond 460 nm are produced, which is in agreement with the experimental results. Theoretical assignments about the absorptions were canied out and the reason for the red-shift of the absorptions was discussed. Pleiadiene and other similar compounds have been studied by the semi-empirical SCFMO method of Pariser, Parr and Pople using the core resonance integral value developed by Lo and Whitehead, Dewar et al. and Yamaguchi et al. It has been found that π*←π transitions predicted by the methods of Lo and Whiteheadand Dewar et al. suitable for the prediction of ground state properties are also in good agreement with experimental results where available and comparable to those predicted by the method of Yamaguchi et al. developed for the prediction of spectral transitions. The resonance stabilization of the molecules 3,4.5,7,8 and 9 have also been studied. It is found that ethylinic linkage across the naphthalene moity in pleiadiene increases the resonance energy of the final compound, in contrast to our previous observation, i.e. ethylinic linkage across the naphthalene moiety reduces the resonance energy of the final compound.  相似文献

Density functional calculation are performed to study Ti(8)C(12) isomers (T(d), C(3v), and D(2d)) in the neutral, cationic, and anionic charge states. C(3v) symmetry is found to be the most stable geometry for the neutral and anion, and the C(3v) and D(2d) isomers to be quasi-iso-energetic lowest for the cation. The electronic structure analysis show that d electron tends to be localized in the ground state. The theoretical assignment for the features in the experimental photoelectron spectra is given. All results obtained are in good agreement with the available experimental data and indicate that the C(3v) and D(2d) isomers may coexist in the photoelectron spectroscopy experiment.  相似文献
