The reaction of the C=N bond in PhCH=NPh with the carbanionic species Ph2PCH2-, leading to the N-phenyl beta-aminophosphine Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh, L1, is described. This molecule reacts with different organic electrophiles to afford related compounds Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NPhX (X = SiMe3, L2; COPh, L4), [Ph2MePCH2CH(Ph)NHPh]+(I-), L3, and [Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)N(Ph)CO]2, L5, containing two amido and two phosphino functions. The coordination properties of L1, L2, and L4 have been studied in palladium chemistry. The X-ray structure of [PdCl2(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP,kappaN)] shows the bidentate coordination mode for the L1 ligand with equatorial C(Ph)-N(Ph) phenyl groups. [PdCl2(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP,kappaN)] crystallizes at 298 K in the space group P2(1)/n with cell parameters a = 10.689(2) A, b = 21.345(3) A, c = 12.282(2) A, beta = 90.294(12) degrees, Z = 4, D(calcd) = 1.526. The reaction between 2 equiv of L1 and [PdCl(eta3-C3H5)]2 affords the [PdCl(eta3-C3H5)(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP)] complex in which an unexpected N-H.Cl intramolecular interaction has been observed by an X-ray diffraction analysis. [PdCl(eta3-C3H5)(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP)] crystallizes at 298 K in the monoclinic space group Cc with cell parameters a = 10.912(1) A, b = 17.194(2) A, c = 14.169(2) A, beta = 100.651(9) degrees, Z = 4, D(calcd) = 1.435. Neutral and cationic alkyl or allyl palladium chloride complexes containing L1 are also reported as well as a neutral allyl palladium chloride complex containing L4. Variable-temperature 31P[1H] NMR studies on the allyl complexes show that the eta3/eta1 allyl interconversion is enhanced by a positive charge and also by a N-H.Cl intramolecular interaction.  相似文献

Mo(PMe3)6 reacts with 2,6-Ph2C6H3OH to give the eta 6-arene complex [eta 6-C6H5C6H3(Ph)OH]Mo(PMe3)3 which exhibits a non-classical Mo...H-OAr hydrogen bond; DFT calculations indicate that the hydrogen bonding interaction facilitates oxidative addition of the O-H bond to give [eta 6,eta 1-C6H5C6H3(Ph)O]Mo(PMe3)2H.  相似文献

Addition of PMe2Ph to fused-cluster syn-[(eta5-C5Me5)IrB18H20] 1 to give [(eta5-C5Me5)HIrB18H19(PMe2Ph)] 3 entails a diminution in the degree of intimacy of the intercluster fusion, rather than retention of inter-subcluster binding intimacy and a nido-->arachno conversion of the character of either of the subclusters. Reaction with MeNC gives [(eta5-C5Me5)HIrB18H19[C(NHMe)2]] 4 which has a similar structure, but with the ligand now being the carbene [:C(NHMe)2], resulting from a reductive assembly reaction involving two MeNC residues and the loss of a carbon atom.  相似文献

The mixed-ring beryllocene Be(C5Me5)(C5Me4H), that contains eta 5-C5Me5 and eta 1-C5Me4H rings, the latter bonded to the metal through the CH carbon atom (X-ray crystal structure) reacts at room temperature with CNXyl (Xyl = C6H3-2,6-Me2) to give an iminoacyl product, Be(eta 5-C5Me4H)[C(NXyl)C5Me5] derived from the inverted beryllocene structure Be (eta 5-C5Me4H)(eta 1-C5Me5).  相似文献

The compounds [Co(2)(CO)(8)] and nido-7,8-C(2)B(9)H(13) react in CH(2)Cl(2) to give a complex mixture of products consisting primarily of two isomers of the dicobalt species [Co(2)(CO)(2)(eta(5)-7,8-C(2)B(9)H(11))(2)] (1), together with small amounts of a mononuclear cobalt compound [Co(CO)(2)(eta(5)-10-CO-7,8-C(2)B(9)H(10))] (5) and a charge-compensated carborane nido-9-CO-7,8-C(2)B(9)H(11) (6). In solution, isomers 1a and 1b slowly equilibrate. However, column chromatography allows a clean separation of 1a from the mixture, and a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study revealed that each metal atom is ligated by a terminal CO molecule and in a pentahapto manner by a nido-C(2)B(9)H(11) cage framework. The two Co(CO)(eta(5)-7,8-C(2)B(9)H(11)) units are linked by a Co-Co bond [2.503(2) ?], which is supported by two three-center two-electron B-H right harpoon-up Co bonds. The latter employ B-H vertices in each cage which lie in alpha-sites with respect to the carbons in the CCBBB rings bonded to cobalt. Addition of PMe(2)Ph to a CH(2)Cl(2) solution of a mixture of the isomers 1, enriched in 1b, gave isomers of formulation [Co(2)(CO)(PMe(2)Ph)(eta(5)-7,8-C(2)B(9)H(11))(2)] (2). Crystals of one isomer were suitable for X-ray diffraction. The molecule 2a has a structure similar to that of 1a but differs in that whereas one B-H right harpoon-up Co bridge involves a boron atom in an alpha-site of a CCBBB ring coordinated to cobalt, the other uses a boron atom in the beta-site. Reaction between 1b and an excess of PMe(2)Ph in CH(2)Cl(2) gave the complex [CoCl(PMe(2)Ph)(2)(eta(5)-7,8-C(2)B(9)H(11))] (3), the structure of which was established by X-ray diffraction. Experiments indicated that 3 was formed through a paramagnetic Co(II) species of formulation [Co(PMe(2)Ph)(2)(eta(5)-7,8-C(2)B(9)H(11))]. Addition of 2 molar equiv of CNBu(t) to solutions of either 1a or 1b gave a mixture of two isomers of the complex [Co(2)(CNBu(t))(2)(eta(5)-7,8-C(2)B(9)H(11))(2)] (4). NMR data for the new compounds are reported and discussed.  相似文献

The reactivities of the highly electrophilic boranes ClB(C(6)F(5))(2) (1) and [HB(C(6)F(5))(2)](n) (2) towards a range of organometallic reagents featuring metals from Groups 7-10 have been investigated. Salt elimination chemistry is observed 1 between and the nucleophilic anions eta(5)-C(5)R(5))Fe(CO)(2)](-)(R = H or Me) and [Mn(CO)(5)](-), leading to the generation of the novel boryl complexes (eta(5)-C(5)R(5))Fe(CO)(2)B(C(6)F(5))(2)[R = H (3) or Me (4)] and (OC)(5)MnB(C(6)F(5))(2) (5). Such systems are designed to probe the extent to which the strongly sigma-donor boryl ligand can also act as a pi-acceptor; a variety of spectroscopic, structural and computational probes imply that even with such strongly electron withdrawing boryl substituents, the pi component of the metal-boron linkage is a relatively minor one. Similar reactivity is observed towards the hydridomanganese anion [(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)Me)Mn(CO)(2)H](-), generating a thermally labile product identified spectroscopically as (eta(5)-C(5)H(4)Me)Mn(CO)(2)(H)B(C(6)F(5))(2) (6). Boranes 1 and 2 display different patterns of reactivity towards low-valent platinum and rhodium complexes than those demonstrated previously for less electrophilic reagents. Thus, reaction of 1 with (Ph(3)P)(2)Pt(H(2)C=CH(2)) ultimately generates EtB(C(6)F(5))(2) (10) as the major boron-containing product, together with cis-(Ph(3)P)(2)PtCl(2) and trans-(Ph(3)P)(2)Pt(C(6)F(5))Cl (9). The cationic platinum hydride [(Ph(3)P)(3)PtH](+) is identified as an intermediate in the reaction pathway. Reaction of with [(Ph(3)P)(2)Rh(mu-Cl)](2), in toluene on the other hand, appears to proceed via ligand abstraction with both Ph(3)P.HB(C(6)F(5))(2) (11) and the arene rhodium(I) cation [(Ph(3)P)(2)Rh(eta(6)-C(6)H(5)Me)](+) (14) ultimately being formed.  相似文献

Functionalization of the N2 ligand in the side-on bound dinitrogen complex, [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2), has been accomplished by addition of terminal alkynes to furnish acetylide zirconocene diazenido complexes, [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr(C[triple bond]CR)]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2H2) (R = nBu, tBu, Ph). Characterization of [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr(C[triple bond]CCMe3)]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2H2) by X-ray diffraction revealed a side-on bound diazenido ligand in the solid state, while variable-temperature 1H and 15N NMR studies established rapid interconversion between eta1,eta1 and eta2,eta2 hapticity of the [N2H2]2- ligand in solution. Synthesis of alkyl, halide, and triflato zirconocene diazenido complexes, [(eta5-C5Me4H)2ZrX]2(mu2,eta1,eta1-N2H2) (X = Cl, I, OTf, CH2Ph, CH2SiMe3), afforded eta1,eta1 coordination of the [N2H2]2- fragment both in the solid state and in solution, demonstrating that sterically demanding, in some cases pi-donating, ligands can overcome the electronically preferred side-on bonding mode. Unlike [(eta5-C5Me4H)2ZrH]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2H2), the acetylide and alkyl zirconocene diazenido complexes are thermally robust, resisting alpha-migration and N2 cleavage up to temperatures of 115 degrees C. Dinitrogen functionalization with [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2) was also accomplished by addition of proton donors. Weak Br?nsted acids such as water and ethanol yield hydrazine and (eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr(OH)2 and (eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr(OEt)2, respectively. Treatment of [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2) with HNMe2 or H2NNMe2 furnished amido or hydrazido zirconocene diazenido complexes that ultimately produce hydrazine upon protonation with ethanol. These results contrast previous observations with [(eta5-C5Me5)2Zr(eta1-N2)]2(mu2,eta1,eta1-N2) where loss of free dinitrogen is observed upon treatment with weak acids. These studies highlight the importance of cyclopentadienyl substituents on transformations involving coordinated dinitrogen.  相似文献

Deprotonation of the phosphamonocarbaborane, exo-6-R-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(12) (R = Ph 1a or Me 1b), yields exo-6-R-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11)(-), which when reacted with appropriate transition-metal reagents affords new metallaphosphamonocarbaborane complexes in which the metals adopt endo-eta(1), exo-eta(1), eta(4), eta(5), or eta(6) coordination geometries bonded to the formal R-arachno-PCB(8)H(11)(-), R-arachno-PCB(8)H(10)(2-), R-arachno-PCB(8)H(9)(3-), or R-nido-PCB(8)H(9)(-) ligands. The reaction of exo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11)(-) (1a-) with Mn(CO)(5)Br generated the eta(1)-sigma product exo-6-[Mn(CO)(5)]-endo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11) (2) having the [Mn(CO)(5)] fragment in the thermodynamically favored exo position at the P6 cage atom. On the other hand, reaction of 1a- with (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Fe(CO)(2)I resulted in the formation of two products, an eta(1)-sigma complex endo-6-[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Fe(CO)(2)]-exo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11) (3) having the (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Fe(CO)(2) fragment attached at the endo-P6 position and an eta(6)-closo complex, 1-(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))-2-(C(6)H(5))-closo-1,2,3-FePCB(8)H(9) (4a). Rearrangement of the endo-compound 3 to its exo-isomer 5 was observed upon photolysis of 3. Synthesis of the methyl analogue of 4a, 1-(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))-2-CH(3)-closo-1,2,3-FePCB(8)H(9) (4b), along with a double-insertion product, 1-CH(3)-2,3-(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(2)-2,3,1,7-Fe(2)PCB(8)H(9) (6), containing two iron atoms eta(5)-coordinated to a formal R-arachno-PCB(8)H(9)(3-), was achieved by reaction of exo-6-CH(3)-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11)(-) (1b-) with FeCl(2) and Na(+)C(5)H(5)(-). Complexes 4a and 4b can be considered ferrocene analogues, in which an Fe(II) is sandwiched between C(5)H(5)(-) and 6-R-nido-6,9-PCB(8)H(9)(-) anions. Reaction of exo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11)(-) (1a-) with cis-dichlorobis(triphenylphosphine)platinum (II) afforded two compounds, an eta(1)-sigma complex with the metal fragment again in the endo-P6 position, endo-6-[cis-(Ph(3)P)(2)PtCl]-exo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11) (7) and an eta(4)-complex, 7-(C(6)H(5))-11-(Ph(3)P)(2)-nido-11,7,8-PtPCB(8)H(10) (8) containing the formal R-arachno-PCB(8)H(10)(2)(-) anion. The structures of compounds 2, 3, 4a, 4b, 6, 7, and 8 were crystallographically confirmed.  相似文献

The half-sandwich compounds [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))BeX] (X=Cl, 1 a; Br, 1 b), readily prepared from the reaction of the halides BeX(2) and M[C(5)Me(5)] (M=Na or K), are useful synthons for other (eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))Be organometallic compounds, including the alkyl derivatives [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))BeR] (R=Me, 2 a; CMe(3), 2 b; CH(2)CMe(3), 2 c; CH(2)Ph, 2 d). The latter compounds can be obtained by metathetical exchange of the halides 1 with the corresponding lithium reagent and exhibit NMR signals and other properties in accord with the proposed formulation. Attempts to make [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))BeH] have proved fruitless, probably due to instability of the hydride toward disproportionation into [Be(C(5)Me(5))(2)] and BeH(2). The half-sandwich iminoacyl [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))Be(C(NXyl)Cp')] and [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(4)H)Be(C(NXyl)Cp')]3, 6 where Xyl=C(6)H(3)-2,6-Me(2) and Cp'=C(5)Me(5) or C(5)Me(4)H, are formed when the beryllocenes [Be(C(5)Me(5))(2)], [Be(C(5)Me(4)H)(2)], and [Be(C(5)Me(5))(C(5)Me(4)H)] are allowed to react with CNXyl. Isolation of three different iminoacyl isomers from the reaction of the mixed-ring beryllocene [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))Be(eta(1)-C(5)Me(4)H)] and CNXyl, namely compounds 5 a, 5 b, and 6, provides compelling evidence for the existence in solution of different beryllocene isomers, generated in the course of two very facile processes that explain the solution dynamics of these metallocenes, that is the 1,5-sigmatropic shift of the Be(eta(5)-Cp') unit around the periphery of the eta(1)-Cp' ring, and the molecular inversion rearrangement that exchanges the roles of the two rings.  相似文献

Exposure of eta9,eta5-bis(indenyl)zirconium sandwich complexes to 4 atm of H2 resulted in facile oxidative addition to furnish the corresponding zirconocene dihydrides, (eta5-C9H5-1,3-R2)2ZrH2 (R = SiMe3, SiMe2Ph, CHMe2). Continued hydrogenation completed conversion to the tetrahydroindenyl derivatives, (eta5-C9H9-1,3-R2)2ZrH2. Deuterium labeling studies established that dihydrogen (dideuterium) addition to the benzo rings is intramolecular and stereospecific, occurring solely from the endo face of the ligand, proximal to the zirconium. In the absence of dihydrogen, the bis(indenyl)zirconium dihydrides rearranged to new zirconium monohydride complexes containing an unusual eta5,eta3-4,5-dihydroindenediyl ligand, arising from metal-to-benzo ring hydrogen transfer. Mechanistic studies, including a normal, primary kinetic isotope effect measured at 23 degrees C, are consistent with a pathway involving regio- and stereoselective insertion of a benzo C=C bond into a zirconium hydride. The stereochemistry of the insertion reaction, and hence the eta5,eta3-4,5-dihydroindenediyl product, is influenced by the presence of donor ligands and controlled by the preferred conformation of the indenyl rings. Exposure of the zirconium hydrides containing the eta5,eta3-4,5-dihydroindenediyl rings to 1 atm of dihydrogen afforded the tetrahydroindenyl zirconium dihydride complexes, establishing the intermediacy of this unusual coordination environment during benzo ring hydrogenation.  相似文献

The origin of the hydrogenation of the dinitrogen ligand in [(eta5-C5Me4H)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2) has been investigated by a combined computational and experimental study. Density functional theory calculations on the zirconocene dinitrogen complex demonstrate significant imido character in the zirconium nitrogen bonds, arising from effective pi-back-bonding from the low-valent zirconium and the side-on bound N2 ligand. The twisted ground-state structure of the N2 complex is a key requirement for nitrogen hydrogenation, as calculations on the model complex [(eta5-C5H5)2Zr]2(mu2,eta2,eta2-N2) reveal reduced overlap as the dihedral angle between the zirconocene wedges approaches 0 degrees . Experimentally, isotopic labeling studies on the microscopic reverse are consistent with a 1,2-addition mechanism for nitrogen hydrogenation.  相似文献

Reactions of [(eta(6)-arene)RuCl(2)](2) 1 (arene = p-cymene (a), 1,2,3,4-Me(4)C(6)H(2) (b), 1,2,3-Me(3)C(6)H(2) (c)) with tris(2,6-dimethoxyphenyl)phosphine (TDMPP) led to loss of two molecules of CH(3)Cl to give (eta(6)-arene)Ru[{2-O-C(6)H(3)-6-OMe}(2){C(6)H(3)(OMe)(2)-2,6}], 2a-c, which contains a trihapto ligand (eta(3)-P,O,O) derived from TDMPP, whereas the 1,3,5-Me(3)C(6)H(3) (1d), 1,2,3,5-Me(4)C(6)H(2) (1e), and C(6)Me(6) (1f) complexes did not react with TDMPP. The structures of 2a and 2b were confirmed by X-ray analyses: for 2a, a = 11.691(2) ?, b = 15.228(2) ?, c = 10.320(1) ?, alpha = 95.93(1) degrees, beta = 113.783(9) degrees, gamma = 83.86(1) degrees, triclinic, P&onemacr;, Z = 2, R = 0.051; for 2b, a = 17.79(2) ?, b = 15.43(1) ?, c = 20.93(1) ?, beta = 91.25(8) degrees, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, Z = 8, R = 0.056. Bis(2,6-dimethoxyphenyl)phenylphosphine (BDMPP) reacted with 1a, 1b, and 1d at room temperature to give (eta(6)-arene)RuCl[PPh(2-O-C(6)H(3)-6-OMe){C(6)H(3)(OMe)(2)-2,6}], 3a,b,d, which contains a dihapto (eta(2)-P,O) ligand derived from BDMPP by an X-ray analysis of 3a: a = 12.33(1) ?, b = 14.246(8) ?, c = 11.236(9) ?, alpha = 91.47(8) degrees, beta = 117.28(6) degrees, gamma = 111.70(6) degrees, triclinic, P&onemacr;, Z = 2, R = 0.040. A similar reaction with 1f recovered the starting materials, but that in refluxing MeCN produced [(eta(6)-C(6)Me(6))Ru[PPh(2-O-C(6)H(3)-6-OMe}(2)], 4f, containing a trihapto (eta(3)-P,O,O) ligand derived from BDMPP. Complex 1d reacted with BDMPP at reflux in MeCN/CH(2)Cl(2) and resulted in a loss of an arene ring to give a five-coordinate complex, Ru[eta(2)-P,O-PPh(2-O-C(6)H(3)-6-OMe){C(6)H(3)(OMe)(2)-2,6}](2)(MeCN), 5. Treatment of (2,6-dimethoxyphenyl)diphenylphosphine (MDMPP) with 1f gave (eta(6)-C(6)Me(6))RuCl[eta(2)-P,O-PPh(2)(2-O-C(6)H(3)-6-OMe)],6f, and that with 1b gave (eta(6)-1,2,3,4-Me(4)C(6)H(2))RuCl[eta(2)-P,O-PPh(2)(2-O-C(6)H(3)-6-OMe}], 6b, and (eta(6)-1,2,3,4-Me(4)C(6)H(2))RuCl(2)[eta(1)-P-PPh(2){C(6)H(3)(OMe)(2)-2,6}],7b. The phosphine ligand of 6b acted as a bidentate ligand derived from MDMPP: a = 8.074(4) ?, b = 16.816(3) ?, c = 18.916(4) ?, beta = 94.05(3) degrees, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, Z = 4, R = 0.051. Transformation of 7b to 6b readily occurred accompanying an elimination of MeCl. Reaction of 1a with MDMPP eliminated an arene ring to give the octahedral compound RuCl(2)[eta(2)-P,OMe-PPh(2){C(6)H(3)(MeO)(2)-2,6}](2), 8. An X-ray analysis of 8 showed that two MDMPP ligands were in a cis-position: a = 10.596(14) ?, b = 27.586(12) ?, c = 13.036(8) ?, beta = 108.17(7) degrees, monoclinic, P2(1)/n, Z = 4, R = 0.035.  相似文献

The doubly bridged pyridine-2-thionate (pyS) dimolybdenum complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)](2)(mu-eta(1),eta(2)-pyS)(2) (1) is accessible by the reaction of [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)Br] with pySK in methanol at room temperature. Complex 1 reacts with piperidine in acetonitrile to give the complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)(eta(2)-pyS)(C(5)H(10)NH)] (2). Treatment of 1 with 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) results in the formation of complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)(eta(1)-pyS)(phen)] (3), in which the pyS ligand is coordinated to Mo through the sulfur atom. Four conformational isomers, endo,exo-complexes [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(eta(2)-pyS)(eta(2)-diphos)] (diphos = dppm, 4a-4d; dppe, 5a-5d), are accessible by the reactions of 1 with dppm and dppe in refluxing acetonitrile. Homonuclear shift-correlated 2-D (31)P((1)H)-(31)P((1)H) NMR experiments of the mixtures 4a-4d have been employed to elucidate the four stereoisomers. The reaction of 4 and pySK or [Mo(CO)(3)(eta(1)-SC(5)H(4)NH)(eta(2)-dppm)] (6) and O(2) affords allyl-displaced seven-coordinate bis(pyridine-2-thionate) complex [Mo(CO)(eta(2)-pyS)(2)(eta(2)-dppm)] (7). All of the complexes are identified by spectroscopic methods, and complexes 1, 5d, 6, and 7 are determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complexes 1 and 5d crystallize in the orthorhombic space groups Pbcn and Pbca with Z = 4 and 8, respectively, whereas 6 belongs to the monoclinic space group C2/c with Z = 8 and 7 belongs to the triclinic space group Ponemacr; with Z = 2. The cell dimensions are as follows: for 1, a = 8.3128(1) A, b = 16.1704(2) A, c = 16.6140(2) A; for 5d, a = 17.8309(10) A, b = 17.3324(10) A, c = 20.3716(11) A; for 6, a = 18.618(4) A, b = 16.062(2) A, c = 27.456(6) A, beta = 96.31(3) degrees; for 7, a = 9.1660(2) A, b = 12.0854(3) A, c = 15.9478(4) A, alpha = 78.4811(10) degrees, beta = 80.3894(10) degrees, gamma = 68.7089(11) degrees.  相似文献

The reaction of Ru(5)(CO)(12)(eta(6)-C(6)H(6))(mu(5)-C), 7, with Pt(PBu(t)(3))(2) yielded two products Ru(5)(CO)(12)(eta(6)-C(6)H(6))(mu(6)-C)[Pt(PBu(t)(3))], 8, and Ru(5)(CO)(12)(eta(6)-C(6)H(6))(mu(6)-C)[Pt(PBu(t)(3))](2), 9. Compound 8 contains a Ru(5)Pt metal core in an open octahedral structure. In solution, 8 exists as a mixture of two isomers that interconvert rapidly on the NMR time scale at 20 degrees C, DeltaH() = 7.1(1) kcal mol(-1), DeltaS() = -5.1(6) cal mol(-)(1) K(-)(1), and DeltaG(298)(#) = 8.6(3) kcal mol(-1). Compound 9 is structurally similar to 8, but has an additional Pt(PBu(t)(3)) group bridging an Ru-Ru edge of the cluster. The two Pt(PBu(t)(3)) groups in 9 rapidly exchange on the NMR time scale at 70 degrees C, DeltaH(#) = 9.2(3) kcal mol(-)(1), DeltaS(#) = -5(1) cal mol(-)(1) K(-)(1), and DeltaG(298)(#) = 10.7(7) kcal mol(-1). Compound 8 reacts with hydrogen to give the dihydrido complex Ru(5)(CO)(11)(eta(6)-C(6)H(6))(mu(6)-C)[Pt(PBu(t)(3))](mu-H)(2), 10, in 59% yield. This compound consists of a closed Ru(5)Pt octahedron with two hydride ligands bridging two of the four Pt-Ru bonds.  相似文献

The first stable eta6-germabenzene complexes, that is, [M(CO)3(eta6-C5H5GeTbt)] {M=Cr (2), Mo (3), and W (4); Tbt=2,4,6-tris[bis(trimethylsilyl)methyl]phenyl}, have been synthesized by ligand-exchange reactions between [M(CO)3(CH3CN)3] (M=Cr, Mo, and W) and the kinetically stabilized germabenzene 1 and characterized by 1H and 13C NMR, IR, and UV/Vis spectroscopy. In the 1H and 13C NMR spectra of 2-4, all of the signals for the germabenzene rings were shifted upfield relative to their counterparts in the free germabenzene 1. X-ray crystallographic analysis of 2 and 4 revealed that the germabenzene ligand was nearly planar and was coordinated to the M(CO)3 group (M=Cr, W) in an eta6 fashion. The formation of complexes 2-4 from germabenzene 1 should be noted as the application of germaaromatics as 6pi-electron ligands toward complexation with Group 6 metals. On the other hand, treatment of 1 with [{RuCp*Cl}4] (Cp*=C5Me5) in THF afforded a novel eta5-germacyclohexadienido complex of ruthenium-[RuCp*{eta5-C5H5GeTbt(Cl)}] (9)-instead of the expected eta6-germabenzene-ruthenium cationic complex [RuCp*{eta6-C5H5GeTbt}]Cl (10). Crystallographic structural analysis of 9 showed that the five carbon atoms of the germacyclohexadienido ligand of 9 were coordinated to the Ru center in an eta5 fashion.  相似文献

The formation of Pt(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(CO){C(O)NR(2)} (R=Me, Et) complexes was established by spectroscopic analysis. The infrared spectra of these complexes showed a sharp absorption due to the presence of coordinated carbonyl group in the region 2017-2013cm(-1). The N,N-dialkylcarbamoyl ligands showed a characteristic CO stretching absorption in the range 1609-1616cm(-1). The proton NMR spectra of these complexes revealed the expected singlet arising from five equivalent methyl groups on the cyclopentadienyl ring with satellites due to coupling to (195)Pt. The N-methyl and N-ethyl protons exhibited very broad resonances due to restricted rotation about the N-C bond at room temperature. On cooling to -30 degrees C, the N,N-dimethyl protons for complex Pt(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(CO){C(O)NMe(2)} showed two sharp singlets at delta 2.86 and 3.09ppm as expected for the static structure. For the N,N-diethyl derivative, Pt(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(CO){C(O)NEt(2)}, the methyl protons exhibited only a single triplet at delta 1.06ppm at -10 degrees C due to coupling with the methylene protons. This single resonance arises through accidental overlap as the methylene protons of the ethyl groups are inequivalent at this temperature and each exhibited a quartet at delta 3.33 and 3.70ppm due to coupling with the methyl protons. The singlet resonances for the methyl and ring carbons of the eta(5)-C(5)Me(5) group found in (13)C{(1)H} NMR spectra are illustrative of the chemical equivalence of all the carbon atoms caused by free rotation of the ring in these complexes. The signals attributable to the carbonyl and carbamoyl carbon atom resonances are found downfield as two singlets each with a large coupling constant to platinum. The platinum coupling constants of the downfield resonances could not be identified for Pt(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))(CO){C(O)NMe(2)} due to presence of impurities.  相似文献

The reactions of elemental indium and In(I)Br with the carbonyl-free organonickel complexes (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PR(3))Ni-Br (R = CH(3), C(6)H(5)) have been studied in some detail. Either redox reactions to yield the ionic products [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PR(3))(2)Ni][InBr(4)] (2a,b) occurred or the Ni-In bound systems (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))Ni-InBr(2)(OPPh(3)) (3a) and [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))Ni](2)InBr (4) were obtained in good yields. The new compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, NMR, and mass spectrometry. A short Ni-In bond of 244.65(9) pm was found for 3a. Single crystal data for (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(PPh(3))Ni-InBr(2)(OPPh(3)).THF (3a): triclinic, P1 with a = 1124.9(3), b = 1353.2(4), c = 1476.4(4) pm, alpha = 94.74(2) degrees, beta = 101.78(2) degrees, gamma = 109.64(1) degrees, V = 2044(1) x 10(6) pm(3), Z = 2, R = 0.053 (R(w) = 0.063).  相似文献

The reductive reactivity of lanthanide hydride ligands in the [(C5Me5)2LnH]x complexes (Ln = Sm, La, Y) was examined to see if these hydride ligands would react like the actinide hydrides in [(C5Me5)2AnH2]2 (An = U, Th) and [(C5Me5)2UH]2. Each lanthanide hydride complex reduces PhSSPh to make [(C5Me5)2Ln(mu-SPh)]2 in approximately 90% yield. [(C5Me5)2SmH]2 reduces phenazine and anthracene to make [(C5Me5)2Sm]2(mu-eta(3):eta(3)-C12H8N2) and [(C5Me5)2Sm]2(mu-eta(3):eta(3)-C10H14), respectively, but the analogous [(C5Me5)2LaH]x and [(C5Me5)2YH]2 reactions are more complicated. All three lanthanide hydrides reduce C8H8 to make (C5Me5)Ln(C8H8) and (C5Me5)3Ln, a reaction that constitutes another synthetic route to (C5Me5)3Ln complexes. In the reaction of [(C5Me5)2YH]2 with C8H8, two unusual byproducts are obtained. In benzene, a (C5Me5)Y[(eta(5)-C5Me4CH2-C5Me4CH2-eta(3))] complex forms in which two (C5Me5)(1-) rings are linked to make a new type of ansa-allyl-cyclopentadienyl dianion that binds as a pentahapto-trihapto chelate. In cyclohexane, a (C5Me5)2Y(mu-eta(8):eta(1)-C8H7)Y(C5Me5) complex forms in which a (C8H8)(2-) ring is metalated to form a bridging (C8H7)(3-) trianion.  相似文献

Reactions of [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PR'3)2(Cl)] with NaBAr(F) [BAr(F)-=B{3,5-[C6H3(CF3)2]}4-; PR'3=PEt3 or 1/2Et2PCH2CH2PEt2) (depe)] and PR2H (R=Ph, a; tBu, b; Cy, c) in C6H5F, or of related cationic Ru(N2) complexes with PR2H in C6H5F, gave the secondary phosphine complexes [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PR'3)2(PR2H)]+ BAr(F)- (PR'3=PEt3, 3 a-c; 1/2depe, 4 a,b) in 65-91 % yields. Additions of tBuOK (3 a, 4 a; [D6]acetone) or NaN(SiMe3)2 (3 b,c, 4 b; [D8]THF) gave the title complexes [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PEt3)2(PR2)] (5 a-c) and [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(depe)(PR2)] (6 a,b) in high spectroscopic yields. These complexes were rapidly oxidized in air; with 5 a, [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PEt3)2{P(=O)Ph2}] was isolated (>99 %). The reaction of 5 a and elemental selenium yielded [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PEt3)2{P(=Se)Ph2}] (70 %); selenides from 5 c and 6 a were characterized in situ. Competitive deprotonation reactions showed that 5 a is more basic than the rhenium analog [(eta5-C5H5)Re(NO)(PPh3)(PPh2)], and that 6 b is more basic than PtBu3 and P(iPrNCH2CH2)3N. The latter is one of the most basic trivalent phosphorus compounds [pK(a)(acetonitrile) 33.6]. Complexes 5 a-c and 6 b are effective ligands for Pd(OAc)2-catalyzed Suzuki coupling reactions: 6 b gave a catalyst nearly as active as the benchmark organophosphine PtBu3; 5 a, with a less bulky and electron-rich PR2 moiety, gave a less active catalyst. The reaction of 5 a and [(eta3-C3H5)Pd(NCPh)2]+ BF4- gave the bridging phosphido complex [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PEt3)2(PPh2)Pd(NCPh)(eta3-C3H5)]+ BAr(F)- in approximately 90 % purity. The crystal structure of 4 a is described, as well as substitution reactions of 3 b and 4 b.  相似文献
