Phosphorus‐containing vinyl ether monomers and 1‐propenyl ether monomers were prepared by the regioselective addition reaction of glycidyl vinyl ether (GVE) or 1‐propenyl glycidyl ether with diaryl phosphonates with quaternary onium salts as catalysts. The reaction of GVE with bis(4‐chlorophenyl) phenylphosphonate gave bis[1‐(4‐chlorophenoxy methyl)‐2‐(vinyloxy)ethyl]phenylphosphonate in a 68% yield. The structures of the resulting phosphorus‐containing vinyl ether monomers and 1‐propenyl ether monomers were confirmed by IR and 1H NMR spectra and elemental analysis. Photoinitiated cationic polymerizations of the resulting phosphorus‐containing vinyl ether monomers and 1‐propenyl ether monomers were investigated with photoacid generators. The polymerization of vinyl ether groups and 1‐propenyl ether groups of the obtained monomers proceeded very smoothly with a sulfonium‐type cationic photoinitiator, bis[4‐(diphenylsulfonio)phenyl]sulfide‐bis(hexafluorophosphate), upon UV irradiation. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two novel calix[4]cryptands were synthesized from 1,3‐alternate calix[4]bis‐azacrown. “Mappemonde II” consists of one 1,3‐calix[4]bis‐azacrown wrapped by a benzo‐crown ether loop. “Mill II” is composed of two 1,3‐calix[4]bis‐azacrowns linked by two benzo‐crown ether strands.  相似文献

[formula: see text] Inspired by folded, nonpseudorotaxane complexes of bis(m-phenylene)-32-crown-10 systems, we synthesized a new bicyclic crown ether containing two 1,3,5-phenylene units linked by three tetra(ethyleneoxy) units. The new cryptand forms a "pseudorotaxane-like" inclusion complex with N,N'-dimethyl-4,4'-bipyridinium bis(hexafluorophosphate) with association constant Ka = 6.1 x 10(4) M-1, 100-fold greater than that of an analogous simple crown ether.  相似文献

Divinyl ether monomers containing phosphorous residues were synthesized by the addition reaction of glycidyl vinyl ether (GVE) with various phosphonic dichlorides or dichlorophosphates with quaternary onium salts as catalysts. The reaction of GVE with phenylphosphonic dichloride gave bis[1‐(chloromethyl)‐2‐(vinyloxy)ethyl]phenylphosphonate ( 1a ) in a 77% yield. The polycondensation of 1a with terephthalic acid was also carried out with 1,8‐diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undecene‐7 (DBU) as a condensing agent to afford the corresponding phosphorus‐containing polyester. A multifunctional monomer containing both vinyl ether groups and methacrylate groups was prepared by the reaction of 1a with methacrylic acid with DBU. The photoinitiated cationic polymerization of these vinyl ether compounds proceeded rapidly with bis[4‐(diphenylsulfonio)phenyl]sulfide‐bishexafluorophosphate as the cationic photoinitiator without a solvent upon ultraviolet irradiation. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. New dibenzo[24]crown‐8 ether derivatives were prepared that contain appendages with thioether donors that can coordinate to a metal ion. These macrocycles were then combined with 1,2‐bis(pyridinium) ethane axles to create two types of [2]rotaxane ligands; those with the four thioether donors on the crown ether and those with six donor groups, four from the crown ether and two more attached to the stoppering groups of the dumbbell. The crown ethers and both types of [2]rotaxane ligands were allowed to react with AgI ions to form metal‐organic rotaxane framework (MORF) style coordination polymers. The interlocked hexadentate ligand forms the first example of a new type of lattice containing interwoven frameworks resulting from both interpenetration of frameworks due to the presence of an interlocked ligand and more classical interpenetration of independent frameworks.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] Iodoaromatics bearing a reactive pyrimidine ring underwent a clean iodine-magnesium exchange with isopropylmagnesium chloride in the presence of bis[2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethyl] ether to provide the corresponding Grignard reagents. The presence of bis[2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethyl] ether prevented reduction of the pyrimidine ring and addition by isopropylmagnesium chloride. As a result, the newly formed reactive Grignard reagents were allowed to react with electrophiles in a highly selective manner to afford adducts in excellent yields.  相似文献

[60]- and [70]Fullerenes have been shown to form 1:1 supramolecular complexes with bis[2-(5,11,17,23,29,35-hexa-tert-butyl-37,38,39,40,41-pentahydroxycalix[6]arenyl-oxy ethyl ether) (1) and 5,11,17,23,29,35-hexa-tert-butyl-37,38,40,41-tetra hydroxyl-39,42-(crown-4)calix[6]arene (2) in CHCl3 medium by electronic absorption spectroscopy. Formation constants (K) of the complexes of [60]- and [70]fullerenes with 1 and 2 have been determined at room temperature from which free energy of formation values of the complexes have been estimated. The very high formation constant value of [60]fullerene/1 complex (5900 dm3 mol-1) in indicative of formation of inclusion complex. Moreover, PM3 calculations reveal that intermolecular interaction between [60]fullerene and 1 proceeds through quite deep energy molecular orbital.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] Amino alcohol 4 (or its enantiomer) is prepared in two simple steps. Commercial (1R,2S)-2-amino-1,2-diphenylethanol is dialkylated with bis(2-bromoethyl) ether. Subsequent hydrogenation over 5% Rh on alumina in the presence of morpholine unexpectedly stops at the hexahydro derivative 4. Amino alcohol 4 promotes the enantioselective addition of diethylzinc to aldehydes at room temperature in up to 99% enantiomeric excess.  相似文献

The conformational interconversions of four [2]catenanes (1-4) containing a dibenzo-34-crown-10 ether (BPP34C10) interlocked with rings containing two 4,4'-dipyridiniums tethered by 1,3-bis(ethyloxy)phenyl and bis(p-benzyl)methyl spacers have been studied by VT 1H NMR spectroscopy. Symmetrically placed blocking groups on thickened tethers enabled either pathway for circumrotation of the BPP34C10 between isoenergetic sites to be blocked. On the basis of chemical shifts of the BPP34C10, its internal p-hydroquinone forms pi-pi-stacking interactions with only one 4,4'-dipyridinium ring at a time. The activation barrier for migration along either open tether was approximately 11.5 kcal/mol. This study demonstrates an ability to select the pathway for conformational interconversions in these [2]catenanes containing the rigid bis(p-benzyl)methyl tether and the lowering the barrier for interconversion through destabilization of the ground state structures.  相似文献

This article describes the synthesis and the cation-radical polymerization (Scholl reaction) of 1,3-bis[4-(1-naphthoxy) benzoyl] benzene ( 6 ) and 1,4-bis[4-(1-naphthoxy) benzoyl]- benzene ( 7 ) initiated by FeCI3. This polymerization produced poly(ether ether ketone ketone)s (PEEKK) of number average molecular weight (M?n) up to 5400 g/mol. The synthesis of bis[4-(1-naphthoxy) phenyl] methane ( 8 ), 1,3-bis[4-(1-napthoxy) phenylmethyl] benzene ( 9 ), and 1,4-bis[4-(1-naphthoxy) phenylmethyl] benzene ( 10 ) are also described. Polyethers of M?n up to 15400 g/mol at a FeCl3/monomer molar ratio of 2/1 were obtained. An increased polymerizability of the monomers 9 and 10 containing two CH2 groups versus that of the corresponding monomers containing two carbonyl groups ( 6 and 7 ) was observed. This enhanced polymerizability was explained based on the increased nucleophilicity of monomers 9 and 10 .  相似文献

Conformationally rigidified tetraCMPO derivatives have been prepared from calix[4]arene bis(crown ether) 4a in which adjacent oxygens are bridged at the narrow rim by two diethylene glycol links. Acylation of the tetraamine 4c with the CMPO-active ester 5b gave the tetraphosphine oxide 6a, while the tetraphosphinate 6b and the tetraphosphonate 6c were obtained by Arbuzov reaction of tetrabromoacetamido derivative 7 with PhP(OEt)2 or P(OEt)3. The extraction ability of these CMPO derivatives was checked for selected lanthanides and actinides and compared with the analogous compounds 1b, 10b and 10d derived from calix[4]arene tetrapentyl ether. All rigidified bis(crown ether) ligands are more effective extractants than their pentyl ether counterparts and require only 1/10 of the concentration (cL= 10 4M) to obtain the same distribution coefficients, while with CMPO itself a 2,000-fold concentration is necessary. This could be a consequence of a better preorganisation of the ligating functions owing to the rigidity which on the other hand did not change the observed selectivity for americium (DAm/DEu=9-19) and for light lanthanides over heavy ones. NMR relaxivity titration curves show that the complex of Gd3+ with ligand 6a is highly oligomerised in anhydrous acetonitrile over a large range of ligand:metal concentration ratios. Nuclear magnetic relaxation dispersion (NMRD) profiles also showed that large oligomers were formed, and their mean tumbling times were deduced from the Solomon-Bloembergen-Morgan equations. The NMR spectra of dia- and paramagnetic lanthanide complexes with 6a agreed with the presence of two conformers with an elongated calix[4]arene skeleton in which the distances between opposite methylene groups are different. Contrary to what was observed with ligand 2a, the addition of nitrate ions does not labilize the metal complexes, presumably because of the rigidification effect of the ether bridges. Single-crystal X-ray structures were obtained for the active ester 5b and for diphenylphosphorylacetic acid 5a.  相似文献

Linear exodentate pyridinium ligands such as 1,2-bis(4,4'-bipyridinium)ethane or its bis N-oxide derivative can be used as axles for the formation of [2]pseudorotaxanes utilising 24-membered crown ethers such as dibenzo-24-crown-8 ether (DB24C8) as the wheel. These [2]pseudorotaxanes can be used to construct coordination networks using transition or lanthanide metal ions as the connecting nodes. 1-, 2- and 3D metal-organic rotaxane frameworks (MORFs) are possible. The resulting materials contain mechanically interlocked units and may be the forerunners of unique solids which contain machine-like components in an ordered array.  相似文献
