Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ) was immobilized on the silica gel surface modified with zirconium oxide, designated as Si:Zr, by the carboxylic groups of the PQQ molecule and the zirconium oxide on the silica surface. The electrochemistry of PQQ immobilized on the Si:Zr matrix, incorporated in a carbon paste electrode, was evaluated using the cyclic voltammetry technique. The Si:Zr:PQQ-modified electrode showed a redox couple at E(m)=(E(pa1)+E(pc))/2=-0.150 V vs SCE at pH 7, close to that observed in aqueous solution, and another oxidation peak, E(pa2)=-0.100 V vs SCE. Studies in different pH solutions in the range of 3-7 showed that the first oxidation peak, E(pa1), is highly dependent on the solution pH shifting from to -0.175 to 0.100 V vs SCE, while E(pa2) remains practically constant at 0.100 V as the pH decreases from 7 to 3. The immobilized PQQ electrode presented the property to electrocatalyze the NADH at 150 mV vs SCE. The effect of addition of Ca(2+) ions on the electrode electroactivity for the NADH oxidation was also verified. Different from that observed for the PQQ immobilized on other electrode materials, the Ca(2+) ions did not influence the electrocatalytical response; however, the electrode stability was considerably improved in the presence of Ca(2+) ions, indicating that the matrix surface has a great influence on the electrochemical behavior of PQQ.  相似文献

The sorption of 1,5-diphenylcarbazone on highly dispersed silica from toluene and acetone-hexane (1:4) solutions was studied. The nature of the bonding of the reagent with the surface of silica gel was studied by absorption spectrometry. A solid-phase reagent is proposed for the sorption-diffuse-reflection and visual test determinations of down to 0.025 and 0.05 μg/L molybdenum(VI), respectively. The procedures were used for the determination of molybdenum in sea salt and a medicinal preparation.  相似文献

A procedure for chromium speciation by F AAS using a flow system has been proposed. In this system, Cr(III) and Cr(VI) ions were adsorbed sequentially onto a mini-column packed with silica gel modified with zirconium phosphate and a mini-column packed with silica gel modified with zirconium oxide, respectively. The elution of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) was made with, respectively, nitric acid solution and tris(hydroxymethyl)methylamine (THAM) solution in reverse mode and determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry without interference of the matrix. Chemical and flow variables as well as concomitant ions were studied in the developed procedure. The enrichment factor for Cr(III) and Cr(VI) was 20.8 and 24.9, respectively, using a preconcentration time of 3.75 min. The limit of detection for Cr(III) and Cr(VI) was 1.9, and 2.3 μg l−1, respectively. The precision of the method, evaluated as the relative standard deviation in solutions containing 100 μg l−1 of chromium species, by analyzing a series of seven replicates, was lower than 3.0%. The accuracy was assessed through recovery experiments of water samples and using another methodology.  相似文献

Zirconium can be determination fluorimctrically with morin in 2M hydrochloric acid in the presence of such elements as Al, Be, Ga, Sb, Sn, Th and U, which fluorcsce much less strongly under the conditions, by measuring the fluorescence intensity before and after adding ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. This substance destroys the fluorescence of zirconium only and the difference in fluorescence intensities corresponds to the concentration of zirconium in solution. The determination of zirconium in the presence of aluminum has especially been studied. Satisfactory accuracy can be obtained even when Al/Zr = 10,000, if the proper morin concentration is used. Iron docs not interfere if reduced to the ferrous state with mercap oacetic acid, Zirconium can be determined in silicate rocks without any separations except those made automatically in tlie sodium carbonate decomposition. Niobium and tantalum should not exceed 0.05%.  相似文献

Summary Five common tricyclic antidepressants are separated on a silica column using an aqueous eluent. The tricyclics are concentrated from serum using an adsorption procedure on a solid phase Sep PakTM C18 cartridge. A new sorption material, silica gel with covalently immobilized formazan group, was suggested and characterized. The material was prepared by coupling the immobilized aryldiazonium salt with benzaldehyde phenylhydrazone. The equilibrium and kinetic characteristics of the sorption of Cu(II), Co(II), Ni(II), and Cd(II) from solutions onto the modified silica gel were determined. The material proved to efficiently concentrate Cu(II) from multicomponent solutions. The coordination surrounding of Cu(II) in the complex on the sorbent surface was determined by ESR.  相似文献

Silica gel was prepared by the sol–gel method, modified with nanometer-sized zirconium oxide, and this material was characterized by X-ray diffraction. A micro-column packed with silica gel modified with nanometer zirconium oxide as sorbent has been developed for the quantitative separation and preconcentration of trace amounts of chromium(III) prior to their determination by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. Total chromium was determined after the reduction of chromium(VI) to chromium(III) by 10% (m/v) of aqueous ascorbic acid as reducing reagent. The adsorption capacity for chromium(III) was found to be 2.36 mg g−1. The detection limit for chromium(III) was 15 ng L−1 with an enrichment factor of 100. The relative standard deviation was 3.2% (n = 7, c = 2.0 ng mL−1).  相似文献

The nucleic acid analogues poly(9-vinyladenine) (PVAd), poly(9-adenylethyl methacrylate) and poly(thymylethyl methacrylate) (PTM) were chemically bonded to porous silica gel, which had been pretreated with 3-trimethoxysilylpropyl methacrylate, by free radical copolymerization to produce novel packing materials for affinity chromatographic columns. The columns separated nucleosides and nucleotide dimers on the basis of hydrophobic interaction using an aqueous buffer and complementary hydrogen bonding interaction in methanol as an eluent. The PVAd- and PTM-silica gel columns gave a nucleobase-selective separation of oligonucleotides differing in length from mixtures of oligoadenylic and oligouridylic acids. On the PVAd-silica gel column terminal phosphate isomers of oligouridylic acid up to seven mer were resolved and the elution order of the isomers was different from that on an ODS column.  相似文献

Adsorption of uranium(VI) and zirconium(IV) from aqueous nitric acid solution on silica gel has been investigated under dynamic conditions. The influence of temperature, nitric acid concentration (pH), and solution flow rates was studied. If the nitric acid concentration in the solution is higher than 0.05 mol/l, then it is possible to achieve separation of uranium(VI) and zirconium(IV) by passing the solution through a column filled with silicagel.  相似文献

A method for the separation of zirconium from fission products based on the system 100–200 mesh silica gel—2.0 M nitric acid is described. Decontamination factors are over 500 for 95Nb, 106Ru, 124Sb, 137Cs, molybdate and uranium(VI), and the yield of zirconium is 98 %.  相似文献

The development of a method for the determination of the antineoplastic vinca alkaloids vinblastine and vindesine in biological samples is described. The selectivity of the assay is high owing to the use of solid-phase extraction on a cyanopropyl extraction column prior to isocratic chromatography on unmodified silica gel with fluorescence detection. The influence of acetonitrile concentration and mobile phase pH on the capacity factors of the drugs was studied in order to optimize the separation between the drugs and endogenous components. The effect of varying the type and concentration of competing cations in the mobile phase was also examined. The limit of determination (signal-to-noise ratio = 3) for vinblastine is 0.5 ng/ml in plasma and urine and for vindesine 2.5 ng/ml. The assay is suitable for determining the concentrations of both compounds in plasma and urine samples from patients.  相似文献

New chelating sorbents are prepared by 3,3',4',5,7-pentahydroxyflavone adsorption from butanol and acetone-hexane (1:4) solutions, characterized by isotherm of sorption, IR-spectroscopy and studied for pre-concentrating and sorption-spectroscopic determination of Sn(IV). The solid-phase Quercetin with satisfactory analytical characteristics was formed by adsorption from acetone-hexane (1:4) mixture. The quantitative recovery of Sn(IV) from aqueous solution with modified sorbent was observed at pH 1.8-2.2. The tolerance limits of heavy metal ions in the sorption of Sn(IV) are reported. The limit of Sn detection is 0.06 mg l(-1). The linearity of calibration graph has been observed up to 1.2 mg l(-1). The method has been applied to determine Sn in high purity zinc materials.  相似文献

The adsorption and catalytic activity of myoglobin (Mb) on zirconium phosphonates (a-zirconium benzenephosphonate (alpha-ZrBP), a-zirconium carboxyethanephosphonate (alpha-ZrCEP), and a novel layered zirconium fluoride aminooctyl-N,N-bis(methylphosphonate) (ZrC8)) were investigated. The maximum adsorption was reached after 16 h of contact and was greater on hydrophobic supports such as alpha-ZrBP and ZrC8 compared to hydrophilic supports such as alpha-ZrCEP. The equilibrium adsorption isotherms fitted the Langmuir equation, suggesting the presence of a monolayer of protein molecules on the support surfaces. The catalytic activities of free Mb and of the obtained biocomposites were studied in terms of the oxidation of two aromatic substrates, o-phenylenediamine and 2-methoxyphenol (guaiacol), by hydrogen peroxide. The oxidation catalyzed by immobilized myoglobin followed the Michaelis-Menten kinetics, similar to oxidation by free Mb. The kinetic parameters, kcat and KM, were significantly affected by the adsorption process. Mb/alpha-ZrCEP was the most efficient biocatalyst obtained, probably because of the hydrophilic nature of the support. The effect of immobilization on the stability of Mb toward inactivation by hydrogen peroxide was also investigated, and an increased resistance was found. The biocomposites obtained can be stored at 4 degrees C for months without a significant loss of catalytic activity.  相似文献

Solid-phase microextraction of hexachlorobenzene from water was implemented for the first time on a rotating disk coated with an octadecyl-bonded silica (C18) sorptive phase. The results indicate that the sorption performance of this phase for the model analyte selected is similar to that observed using a rotating disk containing PDMS. In both cases, equilibrium is achieved within approximately 120 min for samples volumes of 50 mL and decreases to 20–30 min when the sample volume is decreased to 10 mL. The comparable behavior observed for the sorption of HCB in both phases is consistent with a similar rate-determining step for extraction, which suggests that the overall mass transfer of analyte is not limited by internal diffusion into the phase but by diffusion into the aqueous stagnant layer. The main advantage in the use of the C18 phase is that the elution of the analyte was achieved in 15 min compared with 45 min for PDMS because, in the case of C18, dichloromethane can be used as the eluting solvent.  相似文献

Polysaccharide-immobilized chiral stationary phases (CSPs) were prepared by the polymerization of cellulose 3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate, having a polymerizable vinyl group, such as 4-vinylphenylcarbamate or 2-methacryloyloxyethylcarbamate, at the 6-position, with a vinyl monomer, such as styrene, isoprene, t-butyl acrylate, or t-butyl methacrylate, on silica gel under various conditions. Their chiral recognition abilities were then evaluated with high-performance liquid chromatography. The immobilized cellulose 3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate remained on the silica gel even if washed with tetrahydrofuran, which could dissolve the cellulose derivative. The chiral recognition abilities of the immobilized CSPs were similar to those of the coated CSPs when the vinyl monomer content was low. The chiral recognition abilities of the obtained immobilized CSPs slightly depended on the vinyl monomers. The immobilization of the cellulose derivatives was more efficiently attained on the silica gel modified with a vinyl compound. The cellulose derivatives, randomly having a vinyl group at the 2-, 3-, or 6-position of the glucose unit, were prepared by a one-pot reaction. The immobilization efficiency of these derivatives was slightly lower than that of the derivative with the vinyl group at the 6-position. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Zirconium in simulated high level radioactive liquid waste (HLLW) was selectively adsorbed and separated by self-made high adsorption activity silica gel. The selective adsorption mechanism was analyzed according to the structure character of self-made silica gel and performance of zirconium in acid simulated HLLW. The results show that the adsorption selectivity of self-made silica gel for zirconium is strong, because zirconium has higher positive charge and zirconium ion hydrolyzes easily. Distribution coefficient of self-made silica gels for zirconium is 53.5 ml/g. There are 6.5 (OH)/nm2 on the surface on self-made silica gels which provide more adsorption activity places, thus self-made silica gels have higher adsorption capacity for zirconium (31.4 mg/g). The elution rate of the adsorption of zirconium on self-made silica gel by 0.2 mol/l H2C2O4 is more than 99%. The solubility of the self-made silica gel in nitric acid is low, the chemical stability of self-made silica gel is very strong.  相似文献

A new method has been developed for the determination of gold based on separation and preconcentration with a microcolumn packed with nanometer TiO2 immobilized on silica gel (immobilized nanometer TiO2) prior to its determination by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The optimum experimental parameters for preconcentration of gold, such as pH of the sample, sample flow rate and volume, eluent and interfering ions, have been investigated. Gold could be quantitatively retained by immobilized nanometer TiO2 in the pH range of 8-10, then eluted completely with 0.1 mol L−1 HNO3. The detection limit of this method for Au was 0.21 ng mL−1 with an enrichment factor of 50, and the relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) was 1.8% at the 100 ng mL−1 Au level. The method has been applied for the determination of trace amounts of Au in geological and water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The 3,5-dichlorophenylcarbamates (2) of cellulose bearing a small amount of 3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl residues were synthesized by a one-pot process and immobilized onto a silica gel through intermolecular polycondensation of the triethoxysilyl groups. The obtained cellulose derivatives were characterized by (1) H NMR and elemental analysis (EA), and their recognition abilities were evaluated by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The cellulose derivatives containing about 1-5% of the 3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl residue were efficiently immobilized with a high chiral recognition ability. The immobilized chiral packing materials (CPMs) could be used with the eluents containing chloroform and tetrahydrofuran (THF), which cannot be used with the conventional coated-type chiral packing materials. By using these eluents, the chiral recognition for many racemates was improved.  相似文献
