This article describes the synthesis and properties of the first poly(arylene‐vinylene)‐based sensitizers for application in dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSC). The polymers were prepared by the Suzuki–Heck copolymerization of potassium vinyltrifluoroborate (PVTB) with a mixture of dibromoaryl comonomers designed to obtain macromolecules able to bind onto the photoelectrode by means of carboxyphenylene units. The copolymerization reactions were carried out in the presence of an excess of PVTB to lower the molecular weights of the polymers, which were obtained as soluble materials. The polymers poly[(9,9‐didodecyl‐2,7‐fluorenylene)‐vinylene‐co‐(carboxy‐2,5‐phenylene)‐vinylene] ( P1 ), poly[(9,9‐didodecyl‐2,7‐fluorenylene)‐vinylene‐co‐(carboxy‐2,5‐phenylene)‐vinylene‐co‐(4,7‐benzothiadiazolylene)‐vinylene] ( P2 ), and poly[(9,9‐didodecyl‐2,7‐fluorenylene)‐vinylene‐co‐(carboxy‐2,5‐phenylene)‐vinylene‐co‐2,5‐thienylene‐vinylene] ( P3 ) were used in DSSC devices, obtaining conversion efficiencies up to 0.88% ( P3 ). © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Conjugated oligoelectrolytes (COEs) are being introduced into a variety of optical and electronic technologies, yet the dependence of their properties as a function of molecular structure remains poorly understood. In response, we designed, synthesized, and examined a new tetracationic COE, namely, 1,4‐bis{9′,9′‐bis[6′′‐(N,N,N‐trimethylammonium)hexyl]‐2′‐fluorenyl}‐2,5‐bis(trifluoromethyl)benzene tetrabromide (FPF‐F6), which contains bulky electron‐withdrawing trifluoromethyl groups, and compared its properties with the unsubstituted counterpart 1,4‐bis{9′,9′‐bis[6′′‐(N,N,N‐trimethylammonium)hexyl]‐2′‐fluorenyl}benzene tetrabromide (FPF). The ground‐state geometry of FPF‐F6 is primarily twisted with little electronic communication between the aromatic units, as confirmed by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies of the neutral precursor. However, absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopies reveal that the excited state of FPF‐F6 displays strong intramolecular charge‐transfer characteristics. Solution AFM in aqueous media shows that introduction of trifluoromethyl groups changes the size and aspect ratio of supramolecular aggregates that are brought together as a result of hydrophobic interactions. Furthermore, addition of ssDNA to FPF‐F6 leads to interoligoelectrolyte complexes wherein the backbone is more planar; the environment the chromophore experiences under these conditions is also considerably less polar. These findings provide considerable insight into the complex photophysics of electronically conjugated materials in aqueous media.  相似文献

The purposeful modulation of the optoelectronic properties was realised on the basis of a series of the large, conjugated, phosphine oxide hosts 9,9‐bis‐{4′‐[2‐(diphenylphosphinoyl)phenoxy]biphenyl‐4‐yl}‐9H‐fluorene (DDPESPOF), 9,9‐bis‐{3′‐(diphenylphosphinoyl)‐4′‐[2‐(diphenylphosphinoyl)phenoxy]biphenyl‐4‐yl}‐9H‐fluorene (DDPEPOF), 9‐[4′‐(9‐{4′‐[2‐(diphenylphosphoryl)phenoxy]biphenyl‐4‐yl}‐9H‐fluoren‐9‐yl)biphenyl‐4‐yl]‐9H‐carbazole (DPESPOFPhCz) and 9‐[4′‐(9‐{3′‐(diphenylphosphoryl)‐4′‐[2‐(diphenylphosphoryl)phenoxy]biphenyl‐4‐yl}‐9H‐fluoren‐9‐yl)biphenyl‐4‐yl]‐9H‐carbazole (DPEPOFPhCz). The last two are quaternary with fluorenyls as linking bridges, diphenylphosphine oxide (DPPO) moieties as electron acceptors and diphenylethers and carbazolyls as two different kinds of electron donors. Owing to the fine‐organised molecular structures and the mixed indirect and multi‐insulating linkages, all of these hosts achieve the same first triplet energy levels (T1) of 2.86 eV for exothermic energy transfer to phosphorescent dopants. The first singlet energy levels (S1) and the carrier injection/transportation ability of the hosts were accurately modulated, so that DPESPOFPhCz and DPEPOFPhCz revealed extremely similar optoelectronic properties. However, the T1 state of the former is localised on fluorenyl, whereas the carbazolyl mainly contributes to the T1 state of the latter. A lower driving voltages and much higher efficiencies of the devices based on DPESPOFPhCz indicated that the chromophore‐localised T1 state can suppress the quenching effects through realising independent contributions from the different functional groups to the optoelectronic properties and the embedding and protecting effect on the T1 states by peripheral carrier transporting groups.  相似文献

New monomers containing 4‐cyanophenyl (–PhCN) groups attached to a thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene (TT) or dithieno[3,2‐b:2′,3′‐d]thiophene (DTT) structure were synthesized and characterized as 4‐(2,5‐dibromothieno[3,2‐b]thiophen‐3‐yl)benzonitrile (Br–TT–PhCN) or 4,4′‐(2,6‐dibromodithieno[3,2‐b:2′,3′‐d]thiophene‐3,5‐diyl)dibenzonitrile (Br–DTT–PhCN). The Suzuki coupling of 9,9‐dioctylfluorene‐2,7‐diboronic acid bis(1,3‐propanediol)ester and the Br–TT–PhCN or Br–DTT–PhCN monomer was utilized for the syntheses of novel copolymers poly{9,9‐dioctylfluorene‐2,7‐diyl‐alt‐3‐(4′‐cyanophenyl)thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene‐2,5‐diyl} (PFTT–PhCN) and poly{9,9‐dioctylfluorene‐2,7‐diyl‐alt‐3,5‐bis(4′‐cyanophenyl)dithieno[3,2‐b:2′,3′‐d]thiophene‐2,6‐diyl} (PFDTT–PhCN), respectively. The photophysical, electrochemical, and electroluminescent (EL) properties of these novel copolymers were studied. Their photoluminescence (PL) exhibited the same emission maximum for both copolymers in solution. Red‐shifted PL emissions were observed in the thin films. The PL emission maximum of PFTT–PhCN was more significantly redshifted than that of PFDTT–PhCN, indicating more pronounced excimer or aggregate formation in PFTT–PhCN. The ionization potential (HOMO level) and electron affinity (LUMO level) values were 5.54 and 2.81 eV, respectively, for PFTT–PhCN and were 5.57 and 2.92 eV, respectively, for PFDTT–PhCN. Polymer light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) with copolymer active layers were fabricated and studied. Anomalous behavior and memory effects were observed from the current–voltage characteristics of the LEDs for both copolymers. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. Four alternating arylamino‐functionalized copolymers were synthesized in a Suzuki copolymerization applying 4, 4′‐(2,7‐dibromo‐9H‐fluorene‐9,9‐diyl)dianiline, 4,4′‐(2,7‐dibromo‐9H‐fluorene‐9,9‐diyl)bis(N,N‐diphenylaniline), 4‐(3,6‐dibromo‐9H‐ carbazol‐9‐yl)aniline and 4‐(3,6‐dibromo‐9H‐carbazol‐9‐yl)‐N,N‐diphenylaniline in combination with 2,2′‐(9,9‐dioctyl‐9H‐fluorene‐2,7‐diyl)bis(1,3,2‐dioxaborinane). The resulting novel alternating copolymers were fully characterized. The copolymers revealed blue light emission and wide optical bandgaps of at least 2.93 eV for the fluorene‐based and 3.07 eV for the carbazole‐based polymers. The amino‐functions allow to tie semiconducting CdTe nanocrystals (NCs) and to synthesize a series of composites with CdTe NCs. Moreover, tuning the emission color over a wide range by tying these CdTe NCs results in a facile preparation of organic–inorganic semiconductor composites with emission colors “à la carte.” © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Two novel alternating copolymers, poly{9,9‐dihexylfluorene‐2,7‐diyl‐alt‐2,5‐dioctyl‐3,6‐bis(4‐phenyl)pyrrolo[3,4‐c] pyrrole‐1,4‐dione} ( P1 ) and poly{9,9‐dihexylfluorene‐2,7‐diyl‐alt‐2,5‐dioctyl‐3,6‐bis(3‐phenyl)pyrrolo[3,4‐c] pyrrole‐1,4‐dione} ( P2 ), derived from 9,9‐dihexylfluorene and diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP), have been successfully synthesized through palladium‐catalyzed Suzuki polycondensation in good yields. P1 and P2 possess moderate molecular weights and polydispersities, well‐defined structures, and excellent thermal properties with an onset decomposition temperature around 400 °C. Both P1 and P2 in thin films exhibit red photoluminescence from DPP species exclusively, with peaks at 609 and 616 nm, respectively. Cyclic voltammetry studies show that P1 and P2 have low‐lying lowest unoccupied molecular orbital energy levels at ?3.65 eV and reversible reduction processes, so these polymers may constitute another kind of red‐emitting polymer with high electron affinity. Preliminary electroluminescent results of devices with an indium tin oxide/poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene)/polymer/Ba/Al configuration reveal that P1 may be a promising candidate for red emitters with a maximum brightness of 153 cd/m2 and a maximum external quantum efficiency of 0.13%, whereas the performance of P2 is relatively poor. These differences might originate from different conjugation lengths in their main chain. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 44: 2395–2405, 2006  相似文献

The first two crystal structures of enamines derived from 1‐n‐alkyl‐3‐methyl‐5‐pyrazolones, namely 1‐(n‐hexyl)‐3‐methyl‐4‐[1‐(phenylamino)propylidene]‐2‐pyrazolin‐5‐one, C19H27N3O, (I), and N,N′‐bis{1‐[1‐(n‐hexyl)‐3‐methyl‐5‐oxo‐2‐pyrazolin‐4‐ylidene]ethyl}hexane‐1,6‐diamine, C30H52N6O2, (II), are reported. The molecule of (II) lies about an inversion centre. Both (I) and (II) are stabilized by intramolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonding. This confirms previous results based on spectroscopic evidence alone.  相似文献

A series of novel, fluorene‐based conjugated copolymers, poly[(9,9‐bis{propenyl}‐9H‐fluorene)‐co‐(9,9‐dihexyl‐9H‐fluorene)] ( P1 ), poly[(9,9‐bis{carboxymethylsulfonyl‐propyl}fluorenyl‐2,7‐diyl)‐co‐(9,9‐dihexyl‐9H‐fluorene)] ( P2 ) and poly[(9,9‐dihexylfluorene)‐co‐alt‐(9,9‐bis‐(6‐azidohexyl)fluorene)] ( P3 ), are synthesized by Suzuki coupling reactions and their electrochemical properties, in the form of films, are investigated using cyclic voltammetry. The results reveal that the polymer films exhibit electrochromic properties with a pseudo‐reversible redox behavior; transparent in the neutral state and dark violet in the oxidized state. Among the three polymers, P2 possesses the shortest response time and the highest coloration efficiency value. These polymers emit blue light with a band gap value of around 2.9 eV and have high fluorescent quantum yields. Their metal ion sensory abilities are also investigated by titrating them with a number of different transition metal ions; all of these polymers exhibit a higher selectivity toward Fe3+ ions than the other ions tested with Stern–Volmer constants of 4.41 × 106M?1, 3.28 × 107M?1, 1.25 × 106M?1, and 6.56 × 106M?1 for P1 , P2 , water soluble version of P2 ( P2S ) and P3 , respectively. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. One of the drawbacks of the electroluminescence (EL) polymers is that they are usually much better at accepting and transporting holes than electrons due to their inherent richness of π-electrons. One approach improving electron injection and transport in conjugated polymers is to incorporate moieties with high electron affinities. In this theoretical work, to gain an insight into the chemical structure-property relationships was aimed by controllable modification of the main chain structures. Two cyanovinylene derivatives with 2,7-fluorenylene and p-phenylene moieties in the main chains, namely, poly { (2,5-dimethoxy-p-phenylene- 1,4-ylene)-alt-[ 1,2-bis(p-phenylene)- 1- cyanovinylene]} (PPhCN) and poly{[9,9-dimethyl-2,7-fluorenylene]-alt-[1,2-bis(p-phenylene)-1-cyanovinylene]} (PFCN), were studied employing density functional theory (DFT) and time dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) with B3LYP functional. The electronic properties of the neutral molecules, extrapolated ionization potentials (IP) and electron affinities (EA), and energy gaps were investigated in comparison with pristine poly(2,7- fluorenylene). From comparison with poly(2,7-fluorenylene) (PF), the 1,2-bis(p-phenylene)-1-cyanovi-nylene unit was found to be a good electron-withdrawing moiety for electronic materials and the incorporation of 1,2-bis(p- phenylene)-1-cyanovinylene resulted in a narrow band gap and a red shift of both the absorption and photoluminescence emission peaks. Most importantly, the LUMO energies of PFCN are around 1 eV lower than those of PF, which results in the decrement of EA about 0.9 eV, indicating that the 1,2-bis(p-phenylene)-1-cyanovinylene unit has significantly improved the electron-accepting properties of the copolymer PFCN. Substitution of 2,5-dimethoxy-p-phenylene for 9,9-dimethyl-2,7-fluorenylene induced larger band gaps and thus a blue-shift in absorption and emission peaks, which can be attributed to the better conjugated backbone in PFCN.  相似文献

Diphenylaminobiphenylated stryl based alternating copolymers with phenyl or fluorene, which were expected to have a terphenylene vinylene backbone containing an (N,N‐diphenylamino)biphenyl pendant and a phenyl/fluorene/phenylene vinylene backbone containing an (N,N‐diphenylamino)biphenyl pendant, were synthesized by a Suzuki coupling reaction. The obtained copolymers were confirmed with various types of spectroscopy. The alternating copolymers showed good hole‐injection properties because of their low oxidation potential and good solubility and high thermal stability with a high glass‐transition temperature. The alternating copolymers showed blue emissions because of the adjusted conjugation lengths; the maximum wavelength was 460 nm for poly{4,4′‐biphenylene‐α‐[4″‐(N,N′‐diphenylamino)diphenyl]vinylene‐alt‐5‐(2′‐ethylhexyloxy)‐2‐methoxybenzene} and 487 nm for poly{4,4′‐biphenylene‐α‐[4″‐(N,N′‐diphenylamino)diphenyl] vinylene‐alt‐9,9‐dihexylfluorene}. The maximum brightness of indium tin oxide/poly(3,4‐ethylene dioxythiophene)/polymer/LiF/Al devices with poly{4,4′‐biphenylene‐α‐[4″‐(N,N′‐diphenylamino)diphenyl]vinylene‐alt‐5‐(2′‐ethylhexyloxy)‐2‐methoxybenzene} or poly{4,4′‐biphenylene‐α‐[4″‐(N,N′‐diphenylamino)diphenyl]vinylene‐alt‐9,9‐dihexylfluorene} as the emitting layer was 250 or 1000 cd/m2, respectively. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Donor–acceptor–donor (D–A–D)‐type thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters 5,5′‐bis{4‐[9,9‐dimethylacridin‐10(9H )‐yl]phenyl}‐2,2′‐bipyrimidine (Ac‐bpm) and 5,5′‐bis[4‐(10H ‐phenoxazin‐10‐yl)phenyl]‐2,2′‐bipyrimidine (Px‐bpm), based on the 2,2′‐bipyrimidine accepting unit, were developed and their TADF devices were fabricated. The orthogonal geometry between the donor unit and the 2,2′‐bipyrimidine accepting core facilitated a HOMO/LUMO spatial separation, thus realizing thermally activated delayed fluorescence. The exhibited electroluminescence ranged from green to yellow, depending on the donor unit, with maximum external quantum efficiencies of up to 17.1 %.  相似文献

Blue light‐emitting polyfluorenes, PPF‐FSOs and PPF‐SOFs were synthesized via introducing spiro[fluorene‐9,9′‐thioxanthene‐S,S‐dioxide] isomers (2,7‐diyl and 2′,7′‐diyl) (FSO/SOF) into the poly[9,9‐bis(4‐(2‐ethylhexyloxy) phenyl)fluorene‐2,7‐diyl] (PPF) backbone, respectively. With the increasing contents of FSO and SOF moieties, the absorption and PL spectra of PPF‐FSOs show slight red shift, while that of PPF‐SOFs exhibit blue shift, respectively. The HOMO and LUMO levels reduce gradually with increasing SOF unit in PPF‐SOFs. The polymers emit blue light peaked around 430–445 nm and show an excellent spectral stability with the variation in current densities. The distinctly narrowing EL spectra were observed with the incorporation of isomers in the polymers. The full width at half maximum reduced by 15 nm for PPF‐SOFs, resulting in a blue shift with the CIE coordinates from (0.16, 0.11) to (0.16, 0.08). With a device configuration of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/EML/CsF/Al, a maximum luminance efficiency (LEmax) of 2.00 cd A?1, a maximum external quantum efficiency (EQEmax) of 3.76% with the CIE coordinates of (0.16, 0.08) for PPF‐SOF15 and a LEmax of 1.68 cd A?1, a EQEmax of 2.38% with CIE (0.16, 0.12) for PPF‐FSO10 were obtained, respectively. The result reveals that spiro[fluorene‐9,9′‐thioxanthene‐S,S‐dioxide] isomers are promising blocks for deep‐blue light‐emitting polymers. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. A glucopyranose functionalized star‐shaped oligomer, N‐tris{4,4′,4′′‐[(1E)‐2‐(2‐{(E)‐2‐[4‐(benzo[d]thiazol‐2‐yl)phenyl]vinyl}‐9,9‐bis(6‐2‐amido‐2‐deoxy‐1‐thio‐β‐D ‐glucopyranose‐hexyl)‐9H‐fluoren‐7‐yl)vinyl]phenyl}phenylamine (TVFVBN‐S‐NH2), is synthesized for two‐photon fluorescence imaging. In water, TVFVBN‐S‐NH2 self‐assembles into nanoparticles with an average diameter of ~49 nm and shows a fluorescence quantum yield of 0.21. Two‐photon fluorescence measurements reveal that TVFVBN‐S‐NH2 has a two‐photon absorption cross‐section of ~1100 GM at 780 nm in water. The active amine group on the glucopyranose moiety allows further functionalization of TVFVBN‐S‐NH2 with folic acid to yield TVFVBN‐S‐NH2FA with similar optical and physical properties as those for TVFVBN‐S‐NH2. Cellular imaging studies reveal that TVFVBN‐S‐NH2FA has increased uptake by MCF‐7 cells relative to that for TVFVBN‐S‐NH2, due to specific interactions between folic acid and folate receptors on the MCF‐7 cell membrane. This study demonstrates the effectiveness of glycosylation as a molecular engineering strategy to yield water‐soluble materials with a large two‐photon absorption (TPA) cross‐section for targeted cancer‐cell imaging.  相似文献

Three donor–acceptor (D–A) 1,3‐di(thien‐2‐yl)thieno [3,4‐c]pyrrole‐4,6‐dione‐based copolymers, poly{9,9‐dioctylfluorene‐2,7‐diyl‐alt‐1,3‐bis(4‐hexylthien‐2‐yl)‐5‐octylthieno[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐4,6‐dione}, poly{N‐(1‐octylnonyl)carbazole‐2,7‐diyl‐alt‐1,3‐bis(4‐hexylthien‐2‐yl)‐5‐octylthieno[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐4,6‐dione}, and poly {4,8‐bis(2‐ethylhexyloxyl) benzo[1,2‐b:3,4‐b′]dithiophene‐alt‐1,3‐bis(4‐hexylthien‐2‐yl)‐5‐octylthieno[3,4‐c] pyrrole‐4,6‐dione} were synthesized by Suzuki or Stille coupling reaction. By changing the donor segment, the bandgaps and energy levels of these copolymers could be finely tuned. Cyclic voltammetric study shows that the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy levels of the three copolymers are deep‐lying, which implies that these copolymers have good stability in the air and the relatively low HOMO energy level assures a higher open‐circuit potential when they are used in photovoltaic cells. Bulk‐heterojunction photovoltaic cells were fabricated with these polymers as the donors and PC71BM as the acceptor. The cells based on the three copolymers exhibited power conversion efficiencies of 0.22, 0.74, and 3.11% with large open‐circuit potential of 1.01, 0.99, and 0.90 V under one sun of AM 1.5 solar simulator illumination (100 mW/cm2). © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Reaction of O,O′‐diisopropylthiophosphoric acid isothiocyanate (iPrO)2P(S)NCS with 1,10‐diaza‐18‐crown‐6, 1,7‐diaza‐18‐crown‐6, or 1,7‐diaza‐15‐crown‐5 leads to the N‐thiophosphorylated bis‐thioureas N,N′‐bis[C(S)NHP(S)(OiPr)2]‐1,10‐diaza‐18‐crown‐6 ( H2LI ), N,N′‐bis[C(S)NHP(S)(OiPr)2]‐1,7‐diaza‐18‐crown‐6 ( H2LII ) and N,N′‐bis[C(S)NHP(S)(OiPr)2]‐1,7‐diaza‐15‐crown‐5 ( H2LIII ). Reaction of the potassium salts of H2LI–III with a mixture of CuI and 2,2′‐bipyridine ( bpy ) or 1,10‐phenanthroline ( phen ) in aqueous EtOH/CH2Cl2 leads to the dinuclear complexes [Cu2(bpy)2LI–III] and [Cu2(phen)2LI–III] . The structures of these compounds were investigated by 1H, 31P{1H} NMR spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. The crystal structures of H2LI and [Cu2(phen)2LI] were determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In the title compound, catena‐poly[[[N,N′‐bis(pyridin‐3‐ylmethyl)‐[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4,4′‐dicarboxamide]chloridozinc(II)]‐μ‐[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4,4′‐dicarboxylato‐[[N,N′‐bis(pyridin‐3‐ylmethyl)‐[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4,4′‐dicarboxamide]chloridozinc(II)]‐μ‐[N,N′‐bis(pyridin‐3‐ylmethyl)‐[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4,4′‐dicarboxamide]], [Zn2(C14H8O4)Cl2(C26H22N4O2)3]n, the ZnII centre is four‐coordinate and approximately tetrahedral, bonding to one carboxylate O atom from a bidentate bridging dianionic [1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4,4′‐dicarboxylate ligand, to two pyridine N atoms from two N,N′‐bis(pyridin‐3‐ylmethyl)‐[1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4,4′‐dicarboxamide ligands and to one chloride ligand. The pyridyl ligands exhibit bidentate bridging and monodentate terminal coordination modes. The bidentate bridging pyridyl ligand and the bridging [1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4,4′‐dicarboxylate ligand both lie on special positions, with inversion centres at the mid‐points of their central C—C bonds. These bridging groups link the ZnII centres into a one‐dimensional tape structure that propagates along the crystallographic b direction. The tapes are interlinked into a two‐dimensional layer in the ab plane through N—H...O hydrogen bonds between the monodentate ligands. In addition, the thermal stability and solid‐state photoluminescence properties of the title compound are reported.  相似文献

A polydentate ligand bridged by a fluorene group, namely 9,9‐bis(2‐hydroxyethyl)‐2,7‐bis(pyridin‐4‐yl)fluorene (L), has been prepared under solvothermal conditions in acetonitrile. Crystals of the three‐dimensional metal–organic framework (MOF) poly[[[μ3‐9,9‐bis(2‐hydroxyethyl)‐2,7‐bis(pyridin‐4‐yl)fluorene‐κ3N:N′:O]bis(methanol‐κO)(μ‐sulfato‐κ2O:O′)nickel(II)] methanol disolvate], {[Ni(SO4)(C27H24N2O2)(CH3OH)]·2CH3OH}n, (I), were obtained by the solvothermal reaction of L and NiSO4 in methanol. The ligand L forms a two‐dimensional network in the crystallographic bc plane via two groups of O—H…N hydrogen bonds and neighbouring two‐dimensional planes are completely parallel and stack to form a three‐dimensional structure. In (I), the NiII ions are linked by sulfate ions through Ni—O bonds to form inorganic chains and these Ni‐containing chains are linked into a three‐dimensional framework via Ni—O and Ni—N bonds involving the polydentate ligand L. With one of the hydroxy groups of L coordinating to the NiII atom, the torsion angle of the hydroxyethyl group changes from that of the uncoordinated molecule. In addition, the adsorption properties of (I) with carbon dioxide were investigated.  相似文献

Two orange phosphorescent iridium complex monomers, 9‐hexyl‐9‐(iridium (III)bis(2‐(4′‐fluorophenyl)‐4‐phenylquinoline‐N,C2′)(tetradecanedionate‐11,13))‐2,7‐dibromofluorene (Br‐PIr) and 9‐hexyl‐9‐(iridium(III)bis(2‐(4′‐fluorophenyl)‐4‐methylquinoline‐N,C2′)(tetradecanedionate‐11,13))‐2,7‐dibromofluorene (Br‐MIr), were successfully synthesized. The Suzuki polycondensation of 2,7‐bis(trimethylene boronate)‐9,9‐dioctylfluorene with 2,7‐dibromo‐9,9‐dioctylfluorene and Br‐PIr or Br‐MIr afforded two series of copolymers, PIrPFs and MIrPFs, in good yields, in which the concentrations of the phosphorescent moieties were kept small (0.5–3 mol % feed ratio) to realize incomplete energy transfer. The photoluminescence (PL) of the copolymers showed blue‐ and orange‐emission peaks. A white‐light‐emitting diode with a configuration of indium tin oxide/poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)/PIr05PF (0.5 mol % feed ratio of Br‐PIr)/Ca/Al exhibited a luminous efficiency of 4.49 cd/A and a power efficiency of 2.35 lm/W at 6.0 V with Commission Internationale de L'Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of (0.46, 0.33). The CIE coordinates were improved to (0.34, 0.33) when copolymer MIr10PF (1.0 mol % feed ratio of Br‐MIr) was employed as the white‐emissive layer. The strong orange emission in the electroluminescence spectra in comparison with PL for these kinds of polymers was attributed to the additional contribution of charge trapping in the phosphorescent dopants. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We have successfully synthesized a series of new fluorene‐based copolymers, poly[(9,9‐bis(4‐octyloxy‐phenyl)fluorene‐2,7‐diyl)‐co‐[2(3{2[4(2{4[bis(bromophenyl‐4yl) amino]phenyl}vinyl)‐2,5‐bisoctyloxyphenyl]vinyl}‐5,5‐dimethyl‐cyclohex‐2‐enylidene)malononitrile] (PFTBMs), with varying molar ratios of the low‐energy band gap comonomer, 2(3{2[4(2{4[bis(4‐bromophenyl)amino]phenyl}vinyl)‐2,5‐bisoctyloxyphenyl]vinyl}‐5,5‐dimethyl‐cyclohex‐2‐enylidene)malononitrile (BTBM). To prepare BTBM (which has a T‐shaped structure) from triphenylamine, dialkoxy phenyl, and isophorone, we introduced three individual segments of an isophorone derivative containing two cyanide groups at the carbonyl position, a dialkoxy phenyl group for increased solubility, and a triphenyl amine for effective charge transfer. Furthermore, we introduced vinyl linkages between each segment to increase the length of π‐conjugation. The synthesized polyfluorene copolymers with the BTBM, PFTBMs, were synthesized via palladium‐catalyzed Suzuki coupling reactions. The photoluminescence emission spectra of the synthesized polymers in solution did not show significant energy transfer from PBOPF segments to the BTBM units. Light‐emitting devices based on these polymers were fabricated with an indium tin oxide/poly(3,4‐ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS)/polymers/Balq/LiF/Al configuration. Examination of the electroluminescence emission of the synthesized polymers showed that the maximum wavelength shifted continuously toward long wavelengths with as the number of BTBM units in the polymer main chain was increased. In particular, a device using PFTBM 05 exhibited a maximum brightness of 510 cd/m2 and a maximum current efficiency of 0.57 cd/A. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The synthesis of new random poly(arylene‐vinylene)s containing the electron withdrawing 3,7‐dibenzothiophene‐5,5‐dioxide unit was achieved by the Suzuki–Heck cascade polymerization reaction. The properties of poly[9,9‐bis(2‐ethylhexyl)‐2,7‐fluorenylene‐vinylene‐co‐3,7‐dibenzothiophene‐5,5‐dioxide‐vinylene] (50/50 mol/mol, P1 ) and poly[1,4‐bis(2‐ethylhexyloxy)‐2,5‐phenylene‐vinylene‐co‐3,7‐dibenzothiophene‐5,5‐dioxide‐vinylene] (50/50 mol/mol, P2 ) were compared with those of terpolymers obtained by combining the fluorene, dibenzothiophene, and 1,4‐bis(2‐ethylexyloxy)benzene in 20/40/40 ( P3 ), 50/25/25 ( P4 ), and 80/10/10 ( P5 ) molar ratios. The polymers were characterized by 1H NMR and IR, whereas their thermal properties were investigated by TGA and DSC. Polymers P1–5 are blue–green emitters in solution (λem between 481 and 521 nm) whereas a profound red shift observed in the solid state is emission (λem from 578 to 608 nm) that can be attributed both to the charge transfer stabilization exerted by the polar medium and to intermolecular interactions occurring in the solid state. Cyclic voltammetry permitted the evaluation of the ionization potentials and also revealed a quasi‐reversible behavior in the reduction scans for the polymers ( P1–4 ) containing the higher amounts of 3,7‐dibenzothiophene‐5,5‐dioxide units. Electroluminescent devices with both ITO/PEDOT‐PSS/ P1–5 /Ca/Al (Type I) and ITO/PEDOT‐PSS/ P1–5 /Alq3/Ca/Al (Type II) configuration were fabricated showing a yellow to yellow–green emission. In the case of P4 , a luminance of 1835 cd/m2 and an efficiency of 0.25 cd/A at 14 V were obtained for the Type II devices. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
