Inhibition of photosynthetic electron transport (PET) in spinach chloroplasts by nineteen 2-benzylsulphanylbenzimidazoles (BZA) was studied. BZA were found to inhibit photosynthetic electron transport (PET) and for their inhibitory efficiency, electronic properties of the R substituent on the benzyl moiety are decisive. The PET inhibiting activity of the studied BZA expressed as IC50 varied in the range from 28.5 ??M (R = 3,5-(CF3)2) to 394.5 ??M (R = 2,4-(NO2)2). For compounds with R = H, 4-CH3, 3-CH3, 3-OCH3, 4-F, 3-F, 4-Cl, 3-Cl, 2-Cl, 4-Br, 3-Br, 3,4-F2, 3,4-Cl2, 3-CF3, 3,5-(CF3)2 linear increase of the inhibitory activity with the increasing value of the substituent??s ?? constant up to 0.86 was observed. Further increase of the ?? constant resulted in a sharp activity decrease of the corresponding compounds (R = 2-F-6-Cl, 2-NO2, 3,5-(NO2)2, 2,4-(NO2)2). Using EPR spectroscopy and an artificial electron donor diphenyl carbazide it was found that the site of BZA action in the photosynthetic apparatus is situated on the donor side of PS 2, prior to the Z·/D· intermediate.  相似文献

Novel trisubstituted ethylenes, halogen ring-substituted butyl 2-cyano-3-phenyl-2-propenoates, RPhCH ? C(CN)CO2C4H9 (where R 2-Br, 3-Br, 4-Br, 2-Cl, 3-Cl, 4-Cl, 2-F, 3-F, 4-F) were prepared and copolymerized with styrene. The monomers were synthesized by the piperidine catalyzed Knoevenagel condensation of ring-substituted benzaldehydes and butyl cyanoacetate, and characterized by CHN analysis, IR, 1H and 13C-NMR. All the ethylenes were copolymerized with styrene (M1) in solution with radical initiation (ABCN) at 70°C. The compositions of the copolymers were calculated from nitrogen analysis and the structures were analyzed by IR, 1H and 13C?NMR. The order of relative reactivity (1/r1) for the monomers is 3-F (22.97) > 3-Br (6.05) > 2-Cl (4.32) > 4-F (3.19) > 4-Br (2.47) > 4-Cl (1.92) > 2-F (1.74) > 3-Cl (1.10) > 2-Br (1.07). Decomposition of the copolymers in nitrogen occurred in two steps, first in the 200–500°C range with residue (2.3–5.9% wt.), which then decomposed in the 500–800°C range.  相似文献

A microwave-assisted synthesis of a series of 1-aryl-4-dimethylaminomethylene pyrrolidine-2,3,5-triones from the cyclocondensation reaction of ethyl 5,5,5-trichloro-3-dimethylamino methylene-2,4-dioxopentanoate with aniline, 3- or 4-substituted anilines [where the substituents = 3-Me, 3-OMe, 3-OH, 4-Me, 4-F, 4-Cl, 4-Br, 4-NO2, and 4-COMe] is reported. This process is an efficient alternative to the conventional thermal heating and furnishes the products in a short reaction time (ca. 13 min), under mild conditions and in moderate to good yields (50–76%).  相似文献

Novel copolymers of trisubstituted ethylene monomers, halogen ring-disubstituted 2-phenyl-1,1-dicyanoethylenes, RC6H3CH= C(CN)2 (where R is 2,3-Cl2, 2,4-Cl2, 2,6-Cl2, 3,4-Cl2, 3,5-Cl2, 2-Cl-4-F, 2-Cl-6-F, 3-Cl-4-F) and 4-fluorostyrene were prepared at equimolar monomer feed composition by solution copolymerization in the presence of a radical initiator (ABCN) at 70°C. The composition of the copolymers was calculated from nitrogen analysis, and the structures were analyzed by IR, 1H and 13C-NMR. The order of relative reactivity (1/r 1) for the monomers is 2-Cl-4-F (2.42) > 3,4-Cl2(2.40) > 2,4-Cl2(1.97) > 2-Cl-6-F (1.86) > 3-Cl-4-F (1.68) > 2,3-Cl2 (0.89) > 3,5-Cl2 (0.70) > 2,6-Cl2 (0.47). High Tg of the copolymers, in comparison with that of poly(4-fluorostyrene) indicates a substantial decrease in chain mobility of the copolymer due to the high dipolar character of the trisubstituted ethylene monomer unit. Softening of the copolymers started in 194–216°C range. Decomposition of the copolymers in nitrogen occurred in two steps, first in the 290–400°C range with residue, which then decomposed in 400–800°C range.  相似文献

Methyl 2-chlorocyclopropylidenacetate (2-Cl) smoothly [2+4]cycloadds to cyclopentadiene and 2,3-dimethylbutadiene at room temperature. With the donorsubstituted cyclohexadienes 6, 9 at elevated temperatures (60, 120°C respectively) 2-C1 reacts without any observable regioselectivity. In contrast, 2-Cl, when treated with lithium cyclohexadienolates 13 undergoes completely regioselective iterative Michael additions with subsequent intramolecular γ-elimination to give tricyclic γ-ketoesters 16 in good to excellent yields. The products 16 can readily be transformed to multifunctional bicyclo[2.2.2]octane as well as bicyclo [3.2.1]octane derivatives 17. A rationalization of the unprecedented reactivity of 2-Cl on the basis of its available structural features (IP(π), 1JC,C, CC bond length) is offered.  相似文献

The complexes of fourteen substituted aryldiazonium salts RC6H4N2+BF4? (R?H, p-CH3, p-NO2, p-I, p-Cl, p-F, m-Br, m-Cl. m-CH3, o-CH3, o-OCH3, o-NO2, o-Br, o-Cl) with crown ethers 18-C-6 (1) and dibenzo-24-c-8 (2) have been studied by XPS. The results show that the chemical shifts of α-N1s and β-N1s of substituted aryldiazonium salts are closely related to the induction and conjugation effects of R groups. It is interesting to note that charge transfer(β-N→O) take place upon complexation of substituted aryldiazonium salts with crown ethers. Therefore the decrease of binding energy of crown ether oxygen may be used as a measurement of the stabilities of these complexes.  相似文献

Electrophilic trisubstituted ethylene monomers, 2-halophenyl-1,1-dicyanoethylenes, RC6H4CH=C(CN)2 (where R is o-Cl, m-Cl, p-Cl, p-Br, and p-F) were prepared and copolymerized with styrene. The monomers were synthesized by the piperidine catalyzed Knoevenagel condensation of ring-substituted benzaldehydes and malononitrile, and characterized by CHN elemental analysis, IR, 1H and 13C-NMR. All the ethylenes were copolymerized with styrene (M1) in solution with radical initiation (AIBN) at 70°C. The compositions of the copolymers were calculated from nitrogen analysis and the structures were analyzed by IR, 1H and 13C-NMR. The order of relative reactivity (1/r 1) for the monomers is p-Cl (14.8) >m-Cl (2.67)> o-Cl (1.82) > p-Br (1.52) > p-F (1.36). High T g's of the copolymers (> 150°C) in comparison with that of polystyrene indicate a substantial decrease in the chain mobility of the copolymers due to the high dipolar character of the trisubstituted monomer unit. Gravimetric analysis indicated that the copolymers decompose in the range 300–400°C.  相似文献

Pd-catalysed reactions of 2-Cl, 2-Br and 2-I derivatives of a 6-chloropurine nucleoside with benzamide have been compared, using Pd2dba3, Xantphos and Cs2CO3 in toluene, between 20 and 80 °C. The reactivity order was 2-I > 2-Br > 6-Cl ? 2-Cl. The 2-I substituent could be replaced even at 0 °C, under conditions disclosed here for the first time. On the other hand, the replacement of the chlorine atom at position 2 (2-Cl) required 110 °C.  相似文献

A series of 6-X-3,8-dioxatricyclo[3.2.1.02,4]octanes (X?CO2CH3, CN, Cl and CN) are studied by NMR, after their syntheses by epoxidation of the corresponding 7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptenes. The NMR parameters (J, δ) are determined, and also the anisotropy effects of methyl groups at the 1,5 bridgehead positions. The results allow an unambiguous identification of the diastereo-isomers having a gem-chlorocyano group in the 6 position.  相似文献

Tin naphthalocyanine molecules display strong absorption in the infrared region (IR), making them ideal as components of organic photodiodes and solar cells. We use density functional theory and time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) at the B3LYP level to study the influence of axial and peripheral ligands on the absorption wavelength of tin naphthalocyanines. We find that TD-DFT is successful at reproducing the experimental absorption spectra of free base naphthalocyanine and tin naphthalocyanine molecules and can be used as a reliable tool to predict absorption spectra of substituted naphthalocyanines. Functional groups attached axially to tin (-F, -Cl, -Br, -I) and peripherally to the inner ring (-F, -Cl, -Br, -Ph, -OH, -COCH(3), -O(CH(2))(3)CH(3)) of the tin naphthalocyanine molecule tune the excitation wavelength in the near-infrared region between 770 and 940 nm. While substituents to the outer naphthalocyanine ring (-Cl, -Br) affect the intensity of the absorption peaks in the NIR region, they do not influence their absorption wavelength. Asymmetric substitution of naphthalocyanine pendant arms can be employed to decrease intensity of the absorption peaks in the visible region with respect to the intensity of the peaks in the NIR.  相似文献

Summary Diamagnetic cobalt(III) complexes of the type (RHNCS2)3Co [R = Ph, XC6H4 (X=p-Me,p-OMe,p-Cl,p-Br andp-I) and 2,4-Me2C6H3] have been synthesised by reaction of the corresponding dithiocarbamate ammonium salts and hexaaquocobalt(II) chloride. Ligand field parameters calculated from visible spectral data indicate strong covalent character for the Co-S bond. The i.r. spectral data reveal that the CN bond in these dithiocarbamates has less double bond character compared to the corresponding dialkyldithiocarbamates.  相似文献

Novel copolymers of the propenamides and styrene were prepared at equimolar monomer feed composition by solution copolymerization in the presence of a radical initiator at 80°C. This work reports the reduction of nitriles to the corresponding primary amines with silanes catalyzed by oxo-rhenium complexes. The catalytic system PhSiH3/ReIO2(PPh3)2 (10 mol %) reduced efficiently a series of nitriles in the presence of a wide range of functional groups such as -Cl, -F, -Br, -I, -CF3, -OCH3, -SCH3, -SO2CH3 and -NHTs.  相似文献

The coupling of phenols with aryl boronic acids in the presence of copper(II ) acetate and a base proceeds under very mild conditions (room temperature) as described simultaneously by Evans et al. and Chan et al. Single crystals of pseudorotaxanes, [(FcCH2NH2CH2Ar)(DB24C8)][PF6] (DB24C8 = dibenzo[24]crown-8, Fc = Fe(C5H4)(C5H5), Ar = -C6H3-3,4-Cl2, -C6H3-3,4-F2, -C6H4-4-F, -C6H4-4-Cl, -C6H4-4-Br, -C6H3-3-F-4-Me, -C6H4-4-I) and [(FcCH2NH2CH2C6H4-4-Me)(DB24C8)][Ni(dmit)2] (dmit = 1,3-dithiole-2,4,5-dithiolate), were obtained from solutions containing DB24C8 and ferrocenylmethyl(arylmethyl)ammonium. X-ray crystallographic analyses of the pseudorotaxanes revealed that the aryl ring of the axle moiety and the catechol ring of the macrocyclic component were at close centroid distances and parallel or tilted orientation. The structures with parallel aromatic rings showed correlation of the distances between the centroids to Hammett substituent constants of the aryl groups.  相似文献

Abstract

To develop a series of bioactive heterocycles in minimum number of steps, 3-methyl- 4-(substituted phenyl)-1-phenyl-4,8-dihydropyrazolo[4′,3′:5,6]pyrano[2,3-d]pyrimidine-5,7 (1H,6H)-dithione 2(a–j), 4-(4-substituted phenyl)-5-imino-3-methyl-1,6-diphenyl-4,5,6,8-tetrahydropyrazolo[4′,3′:5,6]pyrano[2,3-d]pyrimidine-7(1H)-thione 3(a–j), and N-[4-(subs- tituted phenyl)-3-methyl-1-phenyl-7-thioxo-1,4,7,8-hexahydropyrazolo[4′,3′:5,6]pyrano[2,3-d]pyrimidine-5-yl]thiourea 4(a–j) have been synthesized from amino nitrile functionality 1(a–j). The structures of the compounds were elucidated by IR, 1H NMR, elemental analysis, and some representative 13C NMR and mass spectra. All the title compounds were screened for antimicrobial and antitubercular activities, while some representative compounds were tested for antioxidant activity. Out of synthesized compounds, compounds 1j (4-CH3), 2d (4-F), 4c (4-OH), and 4i (3-Br) exhibited maximum inhibition against Mycobacterium Tuberculosis H37Rv. Compound 3c (4-OH) revealed elevated efficacy against all tested bacterial strain, while compounds 1i (3-Br), 2c (4-OH), and 3h (3-NO2) were found efficacious against Candida albicans as compared to standard drugs.

Treatment of [Et(4)N][Tp*WS(3)] (1) (Tp* = hydridotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate) with 2 equiv of AgSCN in MeCN afforded a novel neutral compound [(Tp*WS(2))(2)(μ-S(2))] (2). Reactions of 2 with excess CuX (X = Cl, Br, I) in MeCN and CH(2)Cl(2) or CHCl(3) formed three neutral W/Cu/S clusters [{Tp*W(μ(3)-S)(3)Cu(3)(μ-Cl)}(2)Cu(μ-Cl)(2)(μ(7)-Cl)(MeCN)](2) (3), [{Tp*W(μ(3)-S)(3)Cu(3)}(2)Br(μ-Br)(2)(μ(4)-Br)(MeCN)] (4), and [{Tp*W(μ(3)-S)(3)Cu(3)}(2){Cu(2)(μ-I)(4)(μ(3)-I)(2)}] (5), respectively. On the other hand, treatment of 2 with CuX (X = Cl, Br) in the presence of Et(4)NX (X = Cl, Br) produced two anionic W/Cu/S clusters [Et(4)N][{Tp*W(μ(3)-S)(3)Cu(3)X}(2)(μ-X)(2)(μ(4)-X)] (6: X = Cl; 7 X = Br). Compounds 2-7 were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV-vis, (1)H NMR, electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectra, and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The dimeric structure of 2 can be viewed as two [Tp*WS(2)] fragments in which two W atoms are connected by one S(2)(2-) dianion. Compounds 3-7 all possess unique halide-bridged double cubanelike frameworks. For 3, two [Tp*W(μ(3)-S)(3)Cu(3)](2+) dications are linked via a μ(7)-Cl(-) bridge, two μ-Cl(-) bridges, and a [Cu(MeCN)(μ-Cl)(2)](+) bridge. For 4, one [Tp*W(μ(3)-S)(3)Cu(3)(MeCN)](2+) dication and one [Tp*W(μ(3)-S)(3)Cu(3)Br](+) cation are linked via a μ(4)-Br(-) and two μ-Br(-) bridges. For 5, the two [Tp*W(μ(3)-S)(3)Cu(3)](2+) dications are bridged by a linear [(μ-I)(2)Cu(μ(3)-I)(2)Cu(μ-I)(2)](4+) species. For 6 and 7, two [Tp*W(μ(3)-S)(3)Cu(3)X](+) cations are linked by a μ(4)-X(-) and two μ-X(-) bridges (X = Cl, Br). In addition, the third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of 2-7 in MeCN/CH(2)Cl(2) were investigated by using femtosecond degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) technique.  相似文献
