Green single crystals of trans‐tetraamminedibromidochromium(III) trans‐diamminetetrabromidochromate(III), [CrBr2(NH3)4][CrBr4(NH3)2], are found to contain two symmetry‐independent sixfold coordinated CrIII cations on centres of inversion. The structure is composed of octahedral trans‐[CrBr2(NH3)4]+ cations and octahedral trans‐[CrBr4(NH3)2] anions, and adopts a distorted CsCl‐type lattice. The cations and anions are linked by N—H...Br interactions. This is the first example in which both ions are mixed ammine–bromide CrIII complexes.  相似文献

MP2/aug′‐cc‐pVTZ calculations were performed to investigate boron as an electron‐pair donor in halogen‐bonded complexes (CO)2(HB):ClX and (N2)2(HB):ClX, for X=F, Cl, OH, NC, CN, CCH, CH3, and H. Equilibrium halogen‐bonded complexes with boron as the electron‐pair donor are found on all of the potential surfaces, except for (CO)2(HB):ClCH3 and (N2)2(HB):ClF. The majority of these complexes are stabilized by traditional halogen bonds, except for (CO)2(HB):ClF, (CO)2(HB):ClCl, (N2)2(HB):ClCl, and (N2)2(HB):ClOH, which are stabilized by chlorine‐shared halogen bonds. These complexes have increased binding energies and shorter B?Cl distances. Charge transfer stabilizes all complexes and occurs from the B lone pair to the σ* Cl?A orbital of ClX, in which A is the atom of X directly bonded to Cl. A second reduced charge‐transfer interaction occurs in (CO)2(HB):ClX complexes from the Cl lone pair to the π* C≡O orbitals. Equation‐of‐motion coupled cluster singles and doubles (EOM‐CCSD) spin–spin coupling constants, 1xJ(B‐Cl), across the halogen bonds are also indicative of the changing nature of this bond. 1xJ(B‐Cl) values for both series of complexes are positive at long distances, increase as the distance decreases, and then decrease as the halogen bonds change from traditional to chlorine‐shared bonds, and begin to approach the values for the covalent bonds in the corresponding ions [(CO)2(HB)?Cl]+ and [(N2)2(HB)?Cl]+. Changes in 11B chemical shieldings upon complexation correlate with changes in the charges on B.  相似文献

Metal Salts of Benzene‐1,2‐di(sulfonyl)amine. 4. Hydrophobically Wrapped Two‐Dimensional Polymers: Crystal Structures of the Isostructural Metal Complexes [M{C6H4(SO2)2N}(H2O)] (M = K, Rb) and of the Structurally Related Ammonium Salt [(NH4){C6H4(SO2)2N}(H2O)] The previously unreported compounds KZ · H2O ( 1 ), RbZ · H2O ( 2 ) and NH4Z · H2O ( 3 ), where Z is Ndeprotonated ortho‐benzenedisulfonimide, are examples of layered inorgano‐organic solids, in which the inorganic component is comprised of metal or ammonium cations, N(SO2)2 groups and water molecules and the outer regions are formed by the planar benzo rings of the anions. The metal complexes 1 and 2 were found to be strictly isostructural, whereas 3 is structurally related to them by a non‐crystallographic mirror plane ( 1 – 3 : monoclinic, space group P21/c, Z = 4; single crystal X‐ray diffraction at low temperatures). In each structure, the five‐membered 1,3,2‐dithiazolide heterocycle possesses an envelope conformation, the N atom lying about 40 pm outside the mean plane of the S–C–C–S moiety. The metal complexes feature two‐dimensional coordination networks interwoven with O–H…O hydrogen bonds originating from the water molecules. The metal centres adopt an irregular nonacoordination formed by five sulfonyl O atoms, two N atoms and two μ2‐bridging water molecules; each M+ is connected to four different anions. When NH4+ is substituted for M+, the metal–ligand bonds are replaced by N+–H…O hydrogen bonds, but the general topology of the lamella is not affected. In the three structures, the lipophilic benzo groups protrude obliquely from the surfaces of the polar lamellae and display marked interlocking between adjacent layers.  相似文献

The ability of the tetraaza‐dithiophenolate ligand H2L2 (H2L2 = N,N′‐Bis‐[2‐thio‐3‐aminomethyl‐5‐tert‐butyl‐benzyl]propane‐1,3‐diamine) to form dinuclear chromium(III) complexes has been examined. Reaction of CrIICl2 with H2L2 in methanol in the presence of base followed by air‐oxidation afforded cis,cis‐[(L2)CrIII2(μ‐OH)(Cl)2]+ ( 1a ) and trans,trans‐[(L2)CrIII2(μ‐OH)(Cl)2]+ ( 1b ). Both compounds contain a confacial bioctahedral N2ClCrIII(μ‐SR)2(μ‐OH)CrIIIClN2 core. The isomers differ in the mutual orientation of the coligands and the conformation of the supporting ligand. In 1a both Cl? ligands are cis to the bridging OH function. In 1b they are in trans‐positions. Reaction of the hydroxo‐bridged complexes with HCl yielded the chloro‐bridged cations cis,cis‐[(L2)CrIII2(μ‐Cl)(Cl)2]+ ( 2a ) and trans,trans‐[(L2)CrIII2(μ‐Cl)(Cl)2]Cl ( 2b ), respectively. These bridge substitutions proceed with retention of the structures of the parent complexes 1a and 1b .  相似文献

The reaction of stibinidene and bismuthinidene ArM [where Ar=C6H3‐2,6‐(CH=NtBu)2; M=Sb ( 1 ), Bi ( 2 )] with transition metal (TM) carbonyls Co2(CO)8 and Mn2(CO)10 produced unprecedented ionic complexes [(ArM)2Co(CO)3]+[Co(CO)4]? and [(ArM)2Mn(CO)4]+[Mn(CO)5]? [where M=Sb ( 3 , 5 ), Bi ( 4 , 6 )]. The pnictinidenes 1 and 2 behaved as two‐electron donors in this set of compounds. Besides the M→TM bonds, the topological analysis also revealed a number of secondary interactions contributing to the stabilization of cationic parts of titled complexes.  相似文献

The d6 metal complexes of thiourea derivatives were synthesized to investigate its cytotoxicity. Treatment of various N‐phenyl‐N´ pyridyl/pyrimidyl thiourea ligands with half‐sandwich d6 metal precursors yielded a series of cationic complexes. Reactions of ligand (L1‐L3) with [(p‐cymene)RuCl2]2 and [Cp*MCl2]2 (M = Rh/Ir) led to the formation of a series of cationic complexes bearing general formula [(arene)M(L1)к2(N,S)Cl]+, [(arene)M(L2)к2(N,S)Cl]+ and [(arene)M(L3)к2(N,S)Cl]+ [arene = p‐cymene, M = Ru ( 1 , 4 , 7 ); Cp*, M = Rh ( 2 , 5 , 8 ); Cp*, Ir ( 3 , 6 , 9 )]. These compounds were isolated as their chloride salts. X‐ray crystallographic studies of the complexes revealed the coordination of the ligands to the metal in a bidentate chelating N,S‐ manner. Further the cytotoxicity studies of the thiourea derivatives and its complexes evaluated against HCT‐116 (human colorectal cancer), MIA‐PaCa‐2 (human pancreatic cancer) and ARPE‐19 (non‐cancer retinal epithelium) cancer cell lines showed that the thiourea ligands displayed no activity. Upon complexation however, the metal compounds possesses cytotoxicity and whilst potency is less than cisplatin, several complexes exhibited greater selectivity for HCT‐116 or MIA‐PaCa‐2 cells compared to ARPE‐19 cells than cisplatin in vitro. Rhodium complexes of thiourea derivatives were found to be more potent as compared to ruthenium and iridium complexes.  相似文献

Deprotonation of the parent CrIII-complexes and their reactions with H3BO3 have been investigated by potentiometric method in aqueous solution,I = 0.1 mol dm−3 (NaNO3) at 25 ±0.1°C. The equilibrium constants have been evaluated by computerized methods and the tentative stoichiometry of the reactions have been worked out on the basis of the speciation curves  相似文献

Diimido, Imido Oxo, Dioxo, and Imido Alkylidene Halfsandwich Compounds via Selective Hydrolysis and α—H Abstraction in Molybdenum(VI) and Tungsten(VI) Organyl Complexes Organometal imides [(η5‐C5R5)M(NR′)2Ph] (M = Mo, W, R = H, Me, R′ = Mes, tBu) 4 — 8 can be prepared by reaction of halfsandwich complexes [(η5‐C5R5)M(NR′)2Cl] with phenyl lithium in good yields. Starting from phenyl complexes 4 — 8 as well as from previously described methyl compounds [(η5‐C5Me5)M(NtBu)2Me] (M = Mo, W), reactions with aqueous HCl lead to imido(oxo) methyl and phenyl complexes [(η5‐C5Me5)M(NtBu)(O)(R)] M = Mo, R = Me ( 9 ), Ph ( 10 ); M = W, R = Ph ( 11 ) and dioxo complexes [(η5‐C5Me5)M(O)2(CH3)] M = Mo ( 12 ), M = W ( 13 ). Hydrolysis of organometal imides with conservation of M‐C σ and π bonds is in fact an attractive synthetic alternative for the synthesis of organometal oxides with respect to known strategies based on the oxidative decarbonylation of low valent alkyl CO and NO complexes. In a similar manner, protolysis of [(η5‐C5H5)W(NtBu)2(CH3)] and [(η5‐C5Me5)Mo(NtBu)2(CH3)] by HCl gas leads to [(η5‐C5H5)W(NtBu)Cl2(CH3)] 14 und [(η5‐C5Me5)Mo(NtBu)Cl2(CH3)] 15 with conservation of the M‐C bonds. The inert character of the relatively non‐polar M‐C σ bonds with respect to protolysis offers a strategy for the synthesis of methyl chloro complexes not accessible by partial methylation of [(η5‐C5R5)M(NR′)Cl3] with MeLi. As pure substances only trimethyl compounds [(η5‐C5R5)M(NtBu)(CH3)3] 16 ‐ 18 , M = Mo, W, R = H, Me, are isolated. Imido(benzylidene) complexes [(η5‐C5Me5)M(NtBu)(CHPh)(CH2Ph)] M = Mo ( 19 ), W ( 20 ) are generated by alkylation of [(η5‐C5Me5)M(NtBu)Cl3] with PhCH2MgCl via α‐H abstraction. Based on nmr data a trend of decreasing donor capability of the ligands [NtBu]2— > [O]2— > [CHR]2— ? 2 [CH3] > 2 [Cl] emerges.  相似文献

The new Mannich bases bis(1,4-diphenylthiosemicarbazide methyl) phosphinic acid H3L1 and bis(1,4-diphenylsemicarbazide methyl) phosphinic acid H3L2 were synthesised from the condensation of phosphinic acid, formaldehyde with 1,4-diphenyl thiosemicarbazide and 1,4-diphenylsemicarbazide, respectively. Monomeric complexes of these ligands, of general formulae K2[CrIII(L n )Cl2], K3[MnII(L n )Cl2] and K[M(L n )] (M = Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) or Hg(II); n = 1, 2), are reported. The mode of bonding and overall geometry of the complexes were determined through physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods. These studies revealed octahedral geometries for the Cr(III), Mn(II) complexes, square planar for Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes and tetrahedral for the Zn(II) and Hg(II) complexes.  相似文献

The reactions between K5Bi4, [(C6H6)Cr(CO)3] or [(C7H8)Mo(CO)3], and [2.2.2]crypt in liquid ammonia yielded the compounds [K([2.2.2]crypt)]33‐Bi3)M(CO)3 · 10NH3 (M = Cr, Mo), which crystallize isostructurally in P21/n. Both contain an 18 valence electron piano‐stool complex with a η3‐coordinated Bi3‐ring ligand. The Bi–Bi distances range from 2.9560(5) to 2.9867(3) Å and are slightly shorter than known Bi–Bi single bonds but longer than Bi–Bi double bonds. The newly found compounds complete the family of similar complexes with E3‐ring ligands (E = P‐Bi).  相似文献

The preparation, structures, and magnetic properties of a series of metal formate perovskites [CH3NH3][MnxZn1?x(HCOO)3] were investigated. The isostructural solid solution can be prepared in the complete range of x=0–1. The metal–organic perovskite structures consist of an anionic NaCl type [MnxZn1?x(HCOO)3?] framework with CH3NH3+ templates located in the nearly cubic cavities and forming hydrogen bonds to the framework. When the proportion of Mn increased (i.e., x changed from 0 to 1), the lattice dimensions and metal–oxygen and metal–metal distances show a slight, nonlinear increase because of the increased averaged metal ionic radius and the local structure distortion. Through the series, the magnetism changes from the long‐range ordering of spin‐canted antiferromagnetism for x≥0.40 to paramagnetism when x≤0.30, and the percolation limit was estimated to be xP=0.31(2) for this simple cubic lattice. In the low‐temperature region, enhancement of magnetization and the gradual decrease and final disappearance of coercive field, remnant magnetization, and spin‐flop field upon dilution were observed through this isotropic Heisenberg magnetic series. IR spectroscopic and thermal properties were also investigated.  相似文献

New Mannich bases bis(thiosemicarbazide methyl) phosphinic acid H3L1 and bis(1-phenylsemicarbazide methyl) phosphinic acid H3L2 were synthesized from condensation of phosphinic acid and formaldehyde with thiosemicarbazide and 1-phenylsemicarbazide, respectively. Monomeric complexes of these ligands, of general formula K2[CrIII(L n )Cl2], K3[FeII(L1)Cl2], K3[MnII(L2)Cl2], and K[M(L n )] (M = Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) or Cd(II); n = 1, 2) are reported. The mode of bonding and overall geometry of the complexes were determined through IR, UV-Vis, NMR, and mass spectral studies, magnetic moment measurements, elemental analysis, metal content, and conductance. These studies revealed octahedral geometries for the Cr(III), Mn(II), and Fe(II) complexes, square planar for Co(II), Ni(II), and Cu(II) complexes and tetrahedral for the Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes. Complex formation via molar ratio in DMF solution has been investigated and results were consistent to those found in the solid complexes with a ratio of (M : L) as (1 : 1).  相似文献

The [M(NH3)5(imidH)]3+ complex ions (M = Co, Rh or Ir; imidH = imidazole) can be readily prepared by reaction of [M(NH3)5(OSO2CF3)]2+ ions with imidazole in sulfolane. Subsequent reaction of [M′(NH3)5(OSO2CF3)]2+ with [M(NH3)5(imidH)]3+ in sulfolane in the presence of a non-coordinating base permits synthesis of the binuclear imidazolate-bridged complexes [(NH3)5M(imid)M′(NH3)5]5+ (M = M′= Co or Rh; M = Co, M′ = Rh), characterized by spectroscopic, chromatographic and voltammetric methods, and by reactivity.  相似文献

Metal Complexes of Biologically Important Ligands. CLXVI Metal Complexes with Ferrocenylmethylcysteinate and 1,1′‐Ferrocenylbis‐(methylcysteinate) as Ligands A series of complexes of transition metal ions ( Cr3+, Mn2+, Co2+, Ni2+, Cu2+, Zn2+ ) and of lanthanide ions ( La3+, Nd3+, Gd3+, Dy3+, Lu3+ ) with the anions of ferrocenylmethyl‐L‐cysteine [(C5H5)Fe(C5H4CH(R)SCH2CH(NH3+)CO2?] (L1) and with the dianions of 1,1′‐ferrocenylbis(methyl‐L‐cysteine) [Fe(C5H4CH(R)SCH2CH(NH3+) CO2?)2] (R = H, Me, Ph) (L2) as N,O,S‐donors were prepared. With the monocysteine ferrocene derivative L1 as ligands complexes [MIIL12] or [CrIIIL12]Cl type complexes are formed whereas the bis(cysteine) ligand L2 yields insoluble complexes of type [ML2]n, presumably as coordination polymers. The magnetic moments of [MnIIL2]n, [PrIIIL2]n(OH)n and [DyIIIL2]n(OH)n exhibit “normal” paramagnetism.  相似文献

The A‐site mixed‐ammonium solid solutions of metal–organic perovskites [(NH2NH3)x(CH3NH3)1?x][Mn(HCOO)3] (x=1.00–0.67) exhibit para‐ to ferroelectric diffuse phase transitions with lowered transition temperatures from x=1.00 to 0.67. These properties are due to the decreased framework distortion and polarization in their low temperature ferroelectric phases caused by the increased CH3NH3+ concentration.  相似文献

Trinuclear systems of formula [{Cr(LN3O2Ph)(CN)2}2M(H2LN3O2R)] (M=MnII and FeII, LN3O2R stands for pentadentate ligands) were prepared in order to assess the influence of the bending of the apical M−N≡C linkages on the magnetic anisotropy of the FeII derivatives and in turn on their Single-Molecule Magnet (SMM) behaviors. The cyanido-bridged [Cr2M] derivatives were obtained by assembling trans-dicyanido CrIII complex [Cr(LN3O2Ph)(CN)2] and divalent pentagonal bipyramid complexes [MII(H2LN3O2R)]2+ with various R substituents (R=NH2, cyclohexyl, S,S-mandelic) imparting different steric demand to the central moiety of the complexes. A comparative examination of the structural and magnetic properties showed an obvious effect of the deviation from straightness of the M−N≡C alignment on the slow relaxation of the magnetization exhibited by the [Cr2Fe] complexes. Theoretical calculations have highlighted important effects of the bending of the apical C−N−Fe linkages on both the magnetic anisotropy of the FeII center and the exchange interactions with the CrIII units.  相似文献

Here we present the synthesis, structure and magnetic properties of complexes of general formula (Mn)(Me2NH2)4][Mn3(μ-L)6(H2O)6] and (Me2NH2)6[M3(μ-L)6(H2O)6] (M = CoII, NiII and CuII); L−2 = 4-(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl) ethanedisulfonate). The trinuclear polyanions were isolated as dimethylammonium salts, and their crystal structures determined by single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction data. The polyanionic part of these salts have the same molecular structure, which consists of a linear array of metal(II) ions linked by triple N1-N2-triazole bridges. In turn, the composition and crystal packing of the MnII salt differs from the rest of the complexes (with six dimethyl ammonia as countercations) in containing one Mn+2 and four dimethyl ammonia as countercations. Magnetic data indicate dominant intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions stabilizing a paramagnetic ground state. Susceptibility data have been successfully modeled with a simple isotropic Hamiltonian for a centrosymmetric linear trimer, H = −2J (S1S2 + S2S3) with super-exchange parameters J = −0.4 K for MnII, −7.5 K for NiII and −45 K for CuII complex. The magnetic properties of these complexes and their easy processing opens unique possibilities for their incorporation as magnetic molecular probes into such hybrid materials as magnetic/conducting multifunctional materials or as dopant for organic conducting polymers.  相似文献

Quantum chemical calculations at the DFT level have been carried out for model complexes [Mo(P)(NH2)3] (1), [Mo(N)(NH2)3] (2), [Mo(PO)(NH2)3] (3), [Mo(NO)(NH2)3] (4), [Mo(CO)5(PO)]+ (5), and [Mo(CO)5(NO)]+ (6). The equilibrium geometries and the vibration frequencies are in good agreement with experimental and previous theoretical results. The nature of the Mo–PO, Mo–NO, Mo–PO+, Mo–NO+, Mo–P, and Mo–N bond has been investigated by means of the AIM, NBO and EDA methods. The NBO and EDA data complement each other in the interpretation of the interatomic interactions while the numerical AIM results must be interpreted with caution. The terminal Mo–P and Mo–N bonds in 1 and 2 are clearly electron-sharing triple bonds. The terminal Mo–PO and Mo–NO bonds in 3 and 4 have also three bonding contributions from a σ and a degenerate π orbital where the σ components are more polarized toward the ligand end and the π orbitals are more polarized toward the metal end than in 1 and 2. The EDA calculations show that the π bonding contributions to the Mo–PO and Mo–NO bonds in 3 and 4 are much more important than the σ contributions while σ and π bonding have nearly equal strength in the terminal Mo–P and Mo–N bonds in 1 and 2. The total (NH2)3Mo–PO binding interactions are stronger than for (NH2)3Mo–P which is in agreement with the shorter Mo–PO bond. The calculated bond orders suggest that there are only (NH2)3Mo–PO and (NH2)3Mo–NO double bonds which comes from the larger polarization of the σ and π contributions but a closer inspection of the bonding shows that these bonds should also be considered as electron-sharing triple bonds. The bonding situation in the positively charged complexes [(CO)5Mo–(PO)]+ and [(CO)5Mo–(NO)]+ is best described in terms of (CO)5Mo → XO+ donation and (CO)5Mo ← XO+ backdonation (X = P, N) using the Dewar–Chatt–Duncanson model. The latter bonds are stronger and have a larger π character than the Mo-CO bonds.  相似文献

The compound [NH4(NH3)4][Co(C2B9H11)2] · 2 NH3 ( 1 ) was prepared by the reaction of Na[Co(C2B9H11)2] with a proton‐charged ion‐exchange resin in liquid ammonia. The ammoniate 1 was characterized by low temperature single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis. The anionic part of the structure consists of [Co(C2B9H11)2] complexes, which are connected via C‐H···H‐B dihydrogen bonds. Furthermore, 1 contains an infinite equation/tex2gif-stack-2.gif[{NH4(NH3)4}+(μ‐NH3)2] cationic chain, which is formed by [NH4(NH3)4]+ ions linked by two ammonia molecules. The N‐H···N hydrogen bonds range from 1.92 to 2.71Å (DHA = Donor···Acceptor angles: 136‐176°). Additional N‐H···H‐B dihydrogen bonds are observed (H···H: 2.3‐2.4Å).  相似文献

Complexes of new Schiff base ligands generated in situ from the reaction of 1‐aminoglycerol, aldehydes, and metal ions are reported. [Cu4(HL1)4] ( 1 ) and [Ni4O(HL1)3(H2O)3)] ? 6 H2O ? DMF ? DMSO ( 2 ) have M4O4 cubane cores, with the L/M molar ratios of 4:4 and 3:4, respectively. [MnIII3MnIINaOCl4(HL1)3] ? 3 M eCN ( 3 ) has a unique pentanuclear trigonal propeller‐shaped MnIII3MnIINa core structure, and the coordination assemblies are linked by hydrogen bonds to afford a 3D channel structure. [Cu2(HL2)2] ( 4 ) has a bis(μ2‐alkoxo)‐bridged Cu2O2 core, with the binuclear species linked by hydrogen bonds to afford a 1D double‐chain. [Ni7(OH)2(OCH3)4(H2L3)2(MeOH)2(H2O)2]‐ (ClO4)2 ? 10 H2O ( 5 ) has a heptanuclear structure containing heptadentate di‐Schiff base ligands, with the nickel(II) ions bridged by phenoxo, alkoxo, hydroxo, and methoxo groups to afford a very rare face‐sharing hexadruple defective cubane core with a Ni@Ni6 arrangement. The lattice water molecules are linked by hydrogen bonds to form helical chains, which are further hydrogen‐bonded to the coordination moieties to afford a 2D network. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements and nonlinear data‐fitting revealed that the “2+4” type of cubane complex 1 shows medium intradimeric ferromagnetic interactions and weak interdimeric ferromagnetic interactions. For complexes 2 and 5 , coexistent ferro‐ and antiferromagnetic couplings afford a non‐zero spin ground state. However, compound 3 shows antiferromagnetic interactions between MnIII and MnII, and ferromagnetic interactions between the MnIII centers, resulting in a global antiferromagnetic behavior. In conclusion, the reaction of 1‐aminoglycerol with aldehydes and metal salts afforded polynuclear complexes with a rich structural diversity and remarkable magnetic behavior.  相似文献
