Flame–wall interaction (FWI) in premixed turbulent combustion has been analysed based on a counter-flow like configuration at the statistically stationary state. For the present configuration, the two FWI sub-zones, i.e the influence zone and the quenching zone, can be identified from the DNS results. Detailed analysis of the important quantities, such as the flame temperature, flame–wall distance, wall heat flux, flame curvature and dilatation (including the flame normal and tangential strain rates), and some orientation relations between the flame normal and the principal strain rate directions, have been reported, together with the physical explanations. All these statistical results are determined by the relative strengths of the wall heat flux, thermal expansion and the flame–turbulence interaction.  相似文献

采用大涡模拟和浸没边界法相结合对不同高度和不同间距横向粗糙元壁面槽道湍流进行了模拟,得到了光滑壁面和粗糙壁面湍流的流向平均速度分布,雷诺剪切应力,脉动速度均方根和近壁区拟序结构。结果发现横向粗糙元降低了流向平均速度,增大了流动阻力,粗糙壁面湍流的雷诺剪切应力大于光滑壁面。粗糙元降低了流向脉动速度,增强了展向和法向脉动速度。粗糙元高度越高,对湍流流动影响越大,而粗糙元间距对湍流统计特性的影响不大。粗糙壁面仍然存在着和光滑壁面类似的条带结构。  相似文献

利用corner transport upwind和constrained transport算法求解非理想磁流体动力学方程组,对匀强平行磁场作用下,黏性各向异性等离子体自由剪切层中的Kelvin-Helmholtz不稳定性进行了数值模拟.从流动结构、涡结构演化、磁场分布、横向磁压力、抗弯磁张力等角度对各向同性和各向异性黏性算例结果进行了讨论,分析了黏性各向异性对Kelvin-Helmholtz不稳定性的影响.结果表明,黏性各向异性比黏性各向同性更利于流动的稳定.其稳定性作用是由于磁感线方向上剪切速率降低导致界面卷起程度和圈数的降低,并使卷起结构中小涡产生增殖、合并,破坏了涡的常规增长,从而导致流动的稳定.黏性各向异性对横向磁压力的影响比对抗弯磁张力更大.  相似文献

In order to investigate the role of coherent structures as mechanisms of scalar dispersion, we studied measurements of a passive scalar plume released in a uniformly sheared turbulent flow generated in a water tunnel. The flow had homogeneous turbulence properties in the measurement domain and contained hairpin vortices similar to those in boundary layers, and so was an ideal test bed to study the effects of coherent structures on turbulent dispersion, free from the effects of inhomogeneities or boundaries. Measurements of the velocity and concentration fields were acquired simultaneously using stereo particle image velocimetry and planar laser-induced fluorescence. We found that dye was preferentially located far away from vortices and was less likely to appear in close proximity to vortices, which is attributed to the high dissipation at the periphery of the vortices. However, we also found that dye was not directly correlated with the uniform momentum zones in the flow, suggesting a more complex relationship exists between these zones, the locations of vortices, and dye transport. Considering scalar flux events rather than simply the presence of dye as our condition of interest, a conditional eddy analysis demonstrated that hairpin vortices are responsible for the large scalar flux events as well as the large Reynolds stress events in the flow. The fact that the Reynolds stress was correlated with the scalar flux further confirmed that coherent structures are dominant mechanisms for scalar transport. Furthermore, we found that the scalar flux vector was preferentially inclined by 155° and ?25° with respect to the streamwise direction, and was thus approximately orthogonal to the planes of the legs of the most common upright and inverted hairpin structures in the flow. These findings demonstrate that coherent structures play an important and intricate role in turbulent diffusion.  相似文献

基于统一二阶矩两相湍流应力模型和稠密颗粒动力学理论,建立了欧拉-欧拉双流体二阶矩颗粒摩擦应力模型。模型充分反映各向异性的气固两相相间雷诺应力相互作用,并引入有效颗粒弹性恢复系数,考虑了因颗粒表面不光滑产生的摩擦力对湍流流动结构和颗粒弥散特性的影响,对于下降管的计算结果与实验吻合较好。因颗粒摩擦产生能量耗散降低了颗粒温度和导致颗粒雷诺应力再分布。在入口和出口区域因颗粒碰撞频率较高而产生的能量耗散对流动结构影响明显。  相似文献

The influence of the anisotropy of elastic energy on the phonon propagation and phonon transport in single crystal nanofilms with different types of anisotropy of elastic energy in a Knudsen flow of a phonon gas is studied. The angular distribution of phonon mean free paths in the planes of the films and in their cross section is analyzed. The physical reasons leading to the dependence of the thermal conductivity on the orientation of the film planes and the directions of the heat flux relative to the crystal axes are studied. An analysis of the effect of focusing on the phonon propagation made it possible to explain the qualitative difference between the anisotropy of phonon mean free paths in films of cubic nanocrystals of various types having different orientations of the planes.  相似文献

Even though a number of rapid pressure-strain models have been suggested and successfully tested for different flow situations by various authors,the model proposals still exhibit some apparent deficiencies when subjected to the flows with rapid distortion. From Mansour's relatively straightforward rapid distortion analysis,if an initially anisotropic flow undergoes a purely rapid rotation,the anisotropy measures will exhibit the behavior of the damped oscillations. Within the current framework of modeling the rapid pressure-strain correlation,i.e.,the models based on the assumption that the M-tensor for the rapid pressure-strain term is expand-able in the Reynolds-stress anisotropy tensor alone,all the model predictions fail to give the damped oscillations in the turbulence anisotropy. In the case of initially isotropic turbulence subjected to rapid distortion,Sj?gren and Johansson showed that all the existing rapid pressure-strain models would deliver the identical path in the anisotropy-invariant map for both homogeneous plane strain and shear flows. The rapid distortion analysis shows two distinct curves reflecting different flow physics. In this work,we try to present a possible way to create a system that can overcome these deficiencies with the aid of the rapid distortion theory (RDT).  相似文献

It is shown that ordered turbulent structures are organized in a turbulent medium when the time of flow mixing gets larger than the time of the energy exchange between turbulent pulsations. Transitions of the weak turbulence in a partially ordered state (moderate turbulence) are considered for the cases of beam-plasma, current-convective and drift instabilities.  相似文献

We investigate experimentally the influence of a background rotation on the energy transfers in decaying grid turbulence. The anisotropic energy flux density F(r) = <δu(δu)2>, where δu is the vector velocity increment over separation r, is determined for the first time by using particle image velocimetry. We show that rotation induces an anisotropy of the energy flux ?·F, which leads to an anisotropy growth of the energy distribution E(r) = <(δu)2>, in agreement with the von Kármán-Howarth-Monin equation. Surprisingly, our results prove that this anisotropy growth is essentially driven by a nearly radial, but orientation-dependent, energy flux density F(r).  相似文献

We study the free surface of a turbulent channel flow, in particular, the relation between the statistical properties of the wrinkled surface and those of the velocity field beneath it. For an irregular flow shed off a vertical cylinder, surface indentations are strongly correlated with vortices in the subsurface flow. For fully developed turbulence this correlation is dramatically reduced. This is because the large eddies excite random capillary-gravity waves that travel in all directions across the surface. Both their predominant wavelength and their anisotropy are determined by the subsurface turbulence.  相似文献

The statistics of the energy and helicity fluxes in isotropic turbulence are studied using high resolution direct numerical simulation. The scaling exponents of the energy flux agree with those of the transverse velocity structure functions through refined similarity hypothesis, consistent with Kraichnan's prediction. The helicity flux is even more intermittent than the energy flux. Consistent with this observation, the spatial helicity-flux structures are finer than those of energy flux and more tubelike in geometry.  相似文献

The dynamics of elasto-inertial turbulence is investigated numerically from the perspective of the coupling between polymer dynamics and flow structures. In particular, direct numerical simulations of channel flow with Reynolds numbers ranging from 1000 to 6000 are used to study the formation and dynamics of elastic instabilities and their effects on the flow. Based on the splitting of the pressure into inertial and polymeric contributions, it is shown that the polymeric pressure is a non-negligible component of the total pressure fluctuations, although the rapid inertial part dominates. Unlike Newtonian flows, the slow inertial part is almost negligible in elasto-inertial turbulence. Statistics on the different terms of the Reynolds stress transport equation also illustrate the energy transfers between polymers and turbulence and the redistributive role of pressure. Finally, the trains of cylindrical structures around sheets of high polymer extension that are characteristics of elasto-inertial turbulence are shown to be correlated with the polymeric pressure fluctuations.  相似文献

用两个X型热膜探针对内径为35mm的水平管内气液两相泡状流的三维紊流结构进行了准三维测量,得出了沿不同直径的轴向、径向和周向的紊流脉动速度和雷诺应力分布。发现在水平管下部脉动速度和雷诺应力与单相流动时的分布规律相似;在管子上部由于空气泡的存在增强了脉动速度;在某些区域内,周向的脉动值甚至比径向和轴向的相应值还要高。水平气液两相泡状流中雷诺应力-uw不为零,在管子的上部甚至和-uv有相同的量级。给出了由于气泡引起的紊流脉动与总素流脉动比值沿径向的分布。  相似文献

基于相同雷诺数下清水和高分子聚合物溶液壁湍流的高时间分辨率粒子图像测速技术(time-resolved particle image velocimetry, TRPIV)的对比实验, 从高聚物溶液对湍流边界层动量能量输运影响的角度分析其减阻的机理. 对比两者的雷诺应力发现高聚物的存在抑制了湍流输运过程. 这一影响与高聚物对壁湍流中占主导地位的涡旋运动和低速条带等相干结构的作用密切相关. 运用条件相位平均、相关函数和线性随机估计(linear stochastic estimation, LSE)等方法, 分析提取了高聚物溶液流场中的发卡涡和发卡涡包等典型相干结构的空间拓扑形态. 相比于清水, 高聚物溶液中相干结构的流向尺度增大, 涡旋运动的发展及低速流体喷射的强度受到削弱, 表明了添加的高聚物阻碍了湍流原有的能量传递和自维持的机理. 正是通过影响相干结构, 高聚物抑制了湍流边界层中近壁区与外区之间的动量和能量输运, 使得湍流的无序性降低, 从而减小了湍流流动的阻力.  相似文献

We characterise the properties of unstably stratified homogeneous turbulence by means of high-resolution direct numerical simulations and a two-point statistical spectral model based on a quasi-normal closure proposed by Burlot et al. Both approaches agree very well regarding the evolution of one- and two-point turbulent statistics, showing that the model is valid at even higher Reynolds numbers than previously considered. From a parametric study with different initial conditions, we confirm that the energy distribution at large scale influences strongly the late time dynamics of the flow. In particular, we assess the existence of backscatter transfer of energy, and evaluate its role in the growth rate of several turbulent quantities. Moreover, thanks to the statistical model, we analyse the scale-by-scale anisotropy of the flow through the decomposition of turbulent spectra in terms of directional anisotropy and polarisation anisotropy, for a refined characterisation of the structure of the flow which is strongly anisotropic in the large scales. This also allows us to study how isotropy is restored in the inertial scales.  相似文献

This paper solves the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equation by a fractional-step method with the Reynolds number Reτ=194 and the rotation number Nτ=0-0.12. When Nτ is less than 0.06, the turbulence statistics relevant to the spanwise velocity fluctuation are enhanced, but other statistics are suppressed. When Nτ is larger than 0.06, all the turbulence statistics decrease significantly. Reynolds stress budgets elucidate that turbulence kinetic energy in the vertical direction is transferred into the streamwise and spanwise directions. The flow structures exhibit that the bursting processes near the bottom wall are ejected toward the free surface. Evident change of near-surface streak structures of the velocity fluctuations are revealed.  相似文献
