For ferromagnet/superconductor (F/S) layered structures, new 3D Larkin-Ovchinnikov-Fulde-Ferrell (LOFF) states are predicted. In most cases, these states are characterized by a higher critical temperature T c than the known 1D LOFF states. It is shown that the nonmonotonic behavior of T c is determined by the oscillations of the Cooper pair flux through the F/S boundary, which occur as a result of the 3D-1D-3D phase transitions at the Lifshits triple points. The appearance of the new 3D LOFF states and the presence of nonmagnetic impurities leads to a strong damping of the 1D oscillations of the LOFF pair amplitude and to a considerable smoothing of the dependence of T c on the F layer thickness d f . An interpretation of the behavior of the experimental dependences T c (d f ) obtained for F/S structures is proposed.  相似文献

The effect of base thickness (π-layer thickness d π) on the reverse current-voltage characteristic and the switching voltage U sw in a diffusion avalanche S-diode is studied. It is shown that the current-voltage characteristic shape is independent of d π, whereas the switching voltage U sw weakly decreases (to 40%) with a significant (4–5-fold) decrease in d π. It is assumed that the results obtained can be explained, taking into account electron injection from the forward-biased contact to the π-layer. We present the results of the current analysis of the partial wave IJ PC = 00+ + based on the available data for meson spectra ( ππ, KˉK,ηη,η,ππππ). In the framework of the K-matrix approach, the analytical amplitude has been reconstructed in the mass region 280 MeV < < 1900 MeV. The following scalar-isoscalar states are seen: comparatively narrow resonances f 0(980), f 0(1300), f 0(1500), f 0(1750) and the broad state f0(1200-1600). The positions of the amplitude poles (masses and total widths of the resonances) are determined as well as pole residues (partial widths to meson channels ππ, KˉK,ηη,η,ππππ). The fitted amplitude gives us the positions of the K-matrix poles (bare states) and the values of bare-state couplings to meson channels thus allowing the quark-antiquark nonet classification of bare states. On the basis of the obtained partial widths to the channels ππ, KˉK,ηη,η, we estimate the quark/gluonium content of f 0(980), f 0(1300), f 0(1500), f 0(1750), f0(1200-1600). For f 0(980), f 0(1300), f 0(1500) and f 0(1750), their partial widths testify the qˉq origin of these mesons though being unable to provide precise evaluation of the possible admixture of the gluonium component in these resonances. The ratios of the decay coupling constants for the f0(1200-1600) support the idea about the gluonium nature of this broad state. pp and πd scattering and pp →πd reaction processes at incident proton laboratory energies T L ≤ 1 GeV are studied in the framework of πNN dynamics. For this purpose three-body calculations are performed with the πN interaction in the P 11, P 33, S 11 and S 31 states and NN forces in the 3 S 1 -3 D 1, 1 S 0, and 3 P 2 states. In addition, the backward-going pion contribution at the πNΔ vertex, the πN-ρN coupling, the heavy-meson exchanges in the NN → NN driving term, and the effect of the off-shell structure in the πN-ρN P 33 interaction are taken into account. The original theory of a proximity effect is proposed for the bi- and tri-layered system ferromagnetic metal/superconductor (F/S) in dirty limit. The F1/S/F2 trilayer is examined more closely. The distinctions in materials, in thicknesses of F layers (df1 and df2), in parameters interfaces, and in local environments of layers are considered among the causes of incommensurability of trilayer. The peculiar Tc(df1, df2) interference pattern is predicted for the F1/S/F2 systems. The reentrant superconductivity and possibility of the better observability of the spin-valve regime are discussed.  相似文献

The spectral-luminescent properties and electronic-level structure of a derivative of oxotetrahydrobenzo[c]phenanthridine—3,3-dimethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydrobenzo[c]phenanthridine-1-one (DTP)—in polar and nonpolar solutions are studied by the luminescence and picosecond spectroscopy techniques at 293 and 77 K. It is shown that DTP exhibits ππp* fluorescence only in polar proton-containing methanol, ethanol, and n-propanol and that this fluorescence is associated with a chromophore + alcohol complex. Solutions of DTP in n-propanol and the nonpolar mixture methylcyclohexane + toluene (6:1) at 77 K display ππp* phosphorescence with a quantum yield ΦPh=0.1, a lifetime τPh=1.9 s, and a frequency of the 0-0 transition equal to 21550 cm−1. The fact that DTP fluorescence is absent in aprotic solvents and exists in alcohols is explained by the inversion of the energy levels of the S ππ* and T n π* states, as a result of which the energy level of the fluorescing S ππ* state in alcohol becomes the lowest. The picosecond spectra and kinetics of the inducedS n (ππ*) ← S 1(π π*) and T k (ππ*) ← T 1(ππ*) absorption made it possible to estimate the lifetime of the S 1(ππ*) state of DTP in n-propanol at 293 K (20±10 ps) and the position of the triplet-triplet absorption peak (495 nm). __________ Translated from Optika i Spektroskopiya, Vol. 94, No. 6, 2003, pp. 993–998. Pressure effects on magnetic properties of two La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 nanoparticle samples with different mean particle sizes were investigated. Both the samples were prepared by the glycine-nitrate method: sample S—as-prepared (10 nm), and sample S900—subsequently annealed at 900 °C for 2 h (50 nm). Magnetization measurements revealed remarkable differences in magnetic properties with the applied pressure up to 0.75 GPa: (i) for S sample, both transition temperatures, para-to-ferromagnetic T C = 120 K and spin-glass-like transition T f = 102 K, decrease with the pressure with the respective pressure coefficients dT C/dP = −2.9 K/GPa and dT f/dP = −4.4 K/GPa; (ii) for S900 sample, para-to-ferromagnetic transition temperature T C = 261 K increases with pressure with the pressure coefficient dT C/dP = 14.8 K/GPa. At the same time, saturation magnetization M S recorded at 10 K decreases/increases with pressure for S/S900 sample, respectively. Explanation of these unusual pressure effects on the magnetism of sample S is proposed within the scenario of the combined contributions of two types of disorders present in the system: surface disorder introduced by the particle shell, and structural disorder of the particle core caused by the prominent Jahn–Teller distortion. Both disorders tend to vanish with the annealing of the system (i.e., with the nanoparticle growth), and so the behavior of the sample S900 is similar to that previously observed for the bulk counterpart.  相似文献

In the weak-coupling BCS-theory approximation, normal impurities do not influence the superconducting transition temperature T c in the case of isotropic s pairing. In the case of d pairing they result in a rapid destruction of the superconducting state. This is at variance with many experiments on the disordering of high-T c superconductors, assuming that d pairing is realized in them. As the interelectronic attraction in a Cooper pair increases, the system transforms continuously from a BCS-type superconductor with “loose” pairs to a picture of superconductivity of “compact,” strongly coupled bosons. Near such a transition substantial deviations can be expected from the universal disorder dependence of T c , as determined by the Abrikosov-Gor’kov equation, and T c becomes more stable against disordering. Since high-T c super-conducting systems fall into the transitional region from BCS-type pairs to compact bosons, these results can explain their relative stability against disordering. Summary A study is made of theF2-layer effect of magnetospheric substorms over the Mediterranean area using data from several ionospheric stations for selected events in the current sunspot cycle 21. The night-time enhancements in the critical frequency of theF2-layer (f 0 F2) and the total electron content (TEC) have been found with both premidnight and postmidnightf 0 F2 peaks and a subsequent decrease in the minimum virtual height of theF region (h′F). It is found that the enhancements occur through the nights under steady geomagnetic conditions and that the time at which it is seen at Rome and Grocka ionospheric stations is progressively earlier as geomagnetic activity increases. It has been further shown that this type of thef 0 F2 night-time increases is not always accompanied by an increase in TEC, although the reverse holds true during the nights of increased substorm activity. The fact that the considerable variability inf 0 F2, TEC andh′F at the onset of the substorm expansion are preceded by the ionospheric dynamics associated with these observations can be very useful in the identification of precursor indicative of short-term variations of ionospheric propagation conditions.  相似文献

Magnetization oscillations due to the commensurability of the vortex and crystal lattice periods in YBa2Cu3Oy (y=6.97±0.02) single crystals are investigated using a high angular resolution magnetometer. A sharp peak in the temperature dependence of the oscillation amplitude as well as other features in the behavior of the oscillation amplitude and of the irreversible magnetization are observed at T f ∼60 K. It is inferred that T f is the temperature of a transition of the solid vortex state to a smectic phase. Pis’ma Zh. éksp. Teor. Fiz. 69, No. 11, 832–837 (10 June 1999)  相似文献

The effect of the exchange energy variation in weakly ferromagnetic alloys on the superconducting resistive transition of superconductor/ferromagnet/superconductor (S/F/S) trilayers is studied. Critical temperature, T c , and resistive transitions versus the F-layer thickness, d F , have been analyzed in Nb/Cu0.41Ni0.59/Nb and Nb/Pd0.81Ni0.19/Nb trilayers. We show that T c (d F ) dependence is sensitive to magnetic inhomogeneities in the F-layer for values of d F corresponding to thickness range where the π-superconducting state is established.  相似文献

The properties and temperature behavior of the π and σ bound states are studied in the framework of the nonlocal model with a separable interaction kernel, based on the quark Dyson-Schwinger and meson Bethe-Salpeter equations. M π(T), f π(T), M σ(T), and Γσ → ππ(T) are considered above and below the deconfinement and chiral restoration transitions. High-spin states of the mass A= 39 mirror pair 39K and 39Ca were investigated via the fusion-evaporation reaction 28Si +16O at 125 MeV beam energy. The Gammasphere array in conjunction with the 4π charged-particle detector array Microball and neutron detectors was used to detect γ rays in coincidence with evaporated light particles. The results of the first high-spin study of the T z=−1/2 nucleus 39Ca are discussed in terms of mirror symmetry and compared to spherical shell-model calculations in the 1d 3/2–; 1f 7/2 configuration space. We take a boundary-value approach to quantum amplitudes arising in gravitational collapse to a black hole. Pose boundary data on initial and final space-like hypersurfaces Σ F,I , separated at spatial infinity by a Lorentzian proper-time interval T. Quantum amplitudes are calculated following Feynman's approach; rotate: T→|T|exp (−iθ) into the complex, where 0< θ≤π/2, and solve the corresponding well-posed complex classical boundary-value problem. We compute the classical Lorentzian action S class and corresponding semi-classical quantum amplitude, proportional to exp (iS class). To recover the Lorentzian amplitude, take the limit θ→ 0+ of the semi-classical amplitude. For the classical boundary-value problem with given perturbative boundary data, we compute an effective spherically-symmetric energy-momentum tensor 〉 T μν EFF , averaged over several wavelengths of the radiation, describing the averaged extra energy-momentum contribution in the Einstein field equations, due to the perturbations. This takes the form of a null fluid, describing the radiation (of quantum origin) streaming radially outwards. The classical space-time metric, in this region of the space time, is of Vaidya form, justifying the adiabatic radial mode equations, for spins s = 0 and s = 2.  相似文献

Ultrashort laser pulse transfers metal into a two-temperature warm dense matter state and triggers a chain of hydrodynamic and kinetic processes—melting, expansion, stretching, creation of tensile stress and transition into metastable state. We study the response of aluminum film deposited on a glass substrate to irradiation by a pump laser pulse transmitted through glass. Several films with thicknesses from 350 to 1200 nm have been investigated. The smallest thickness is of the order of the heating depth d T∼100 nm in Al. The d T-layer and the free rear side of the film are coupled through pressure waves propagating between them. Therefore, the processes within d T-layer affects the time dependent displacement Δ x rear(t) of the rear surface. We compare simulated and experimental dependencies Δ x rear(t) obtained by the pump–probe technique. It allows us to define a thickness of molten Al layer and explore the two-temperature processes occurring inside the heated layer.  相似文献

The decay of the T 1/2 = 420 ns isomer in 151Er has been reinvestigated. The multipolarities of the decaying transitions have been established by measuring the electron conversion coefficients. The superconducting and magnetic states of asymmetric ferromagnet/superconductor/ferromagnet (F/S/F′) nanostructures have been investigated using the boundary value problem for the Eilenberger function. It has been shown that 0- and π-phase superconducting states of pure thin F/S/F′ trilayers are controlled by the magnitude and sign of electron correlations in the F and F′ layers, as well as by the competition between homogeneous Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer (BCS) pairing and inhomogeneous Larkin-Ovchinnikov-Fulde-Ferrell (LOFF) pairing. The LOFF-BCS-LOFF separate re-entrant superconductivity has been predicted for F/S/F′ trilayers. A continuous control of the pair-breaking factor in the Eilenberger function and transition to the state with re-entrant superconductivity is achieved by varying the thickness of the F′ layer. Sine-modulated 2D LOFF states in asymmetric F/S/F′ trilayers are possible not only for parallel, but also for antiparallel orientations of the magnetizations of the F and F′ layers; this fact significantly facilitates the experimental implementation of the predicted phenomena.  相似文献

We calculate the process np → ηd near threshold using a separable potential model of the coupled ηN - πN - ππN subystems, and a relativistic three-body calculation for the ηd scattering amplitude. The ππN channels are represented by an effective σN channel, and we compare the case where the σ and π masses are related by m σ = 2m π and no width is considered, to another where the mass and width of the σ -meson are taken from ππ scattering data. The np → ηd cross-section can be well described up to about 60MeV by models where the real part of the ηN scattering length lies between 0.4≤Re(a ηN)≤0.6 fm which allows us to determine the s -wave ηN scattering amplitude for -60≤E≤60 MeV.  相似文献

Claims have been made that f0(1370) does not exist. The five primary sets of data requiring its existence are refitted with suitable Breit–Wigner amplitudes. Major dispersive effects due to the opening of the 4π threshold are included for the first time; the σ→4π amplitude plays a strong role. Crystal Barrel data on p̄p→3π0 at rest require f0(1370) signals of at least 32 and 33 standard deviations (σ) in 1S0 and 3P1 annihilation respectively. Furthermore, they agree within 5 MeV for mass and width. Data on p̄p→ηηπ0 agree and require at least a 19σ contribution. This alone is sufficient to demonstrate the existence of f0(1370). BES II data for J/Ψ→φπ+π- contain a visible f0(1370) signal >8σ. In all cases, a resonant phase variation is required. Cern–Munich data for ππ elastic scattering are fitted well with the inclusion of some mixing between σ, f0(1370) and f0(1500). Values of Γ for f2(1565), ρ3(1690), ρ3(1990) and f4(2040) are determined. PACS 13.25.Gv; 14.40.Gx; 13.40.Hq  相似文献
