We introduce and study the problem of finding necessary and sufficient conditions under which a conformal blocks divisor on \( {\overline{\mathrm{M}}}_{0,n} \) is nonzero, solving the problem completely for \( \mathfrak{s}{\mathfrak{l}}_2 \). We give necessary nonvanishing conditions in type A, which are sufficient when theta and critical levels coincide. We also show divisors are subject to additive identities, reflecting a decomposition of the weights and level.  相似文献

Let \(K={\mathbb {Z}}/p{\mathbb {Z}}\) and let \(A\) be a subset of \({{\mathrm{GL}}}_r(K)\) such that \(\langle A \rangle \) is solvable. We reduce the study of the growth of \(A\) under the group operation to the nilpotent setting. Fix a positive number \(C\ge 1\) ; we prove that either \(A\) grows (meaning \(|A_3|\ge C|A|\) ), or else there are groups \(U_R\) and \(S\) , with \(U_R\unlhd S \unlhd \langle A\rangle \) , such that \(S/U_R\) is nilpotent, \(A_k\cap S\) is large and \(U_R\subseteq A_k\) , where \(k\) depends only on the rank \(r\) of \({{\mathrm{GL}}}_r(K)\) . Here \(A_k = \{x_1 x_2 \cdots x_k : x_i \in A \cup A^{-1} \cup \{1\}\}\) . When combined with recent work by Pyber and Szabó, the main result of this paper implies that it is possible to draw the same conclusions without supposing that \(\langle A \rangle \) is solvable.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group, and write \({\mathrm {cd}}(G)\) for the degree set of the complex irreducible characters of G. The group G is said to satisfy the two-prime hypothesis if, for any distinct degrees \(a, b \in {\mathrm {cd}}(G)\), the total number of (not necessarily different) primes of the greatest common divisor \(\gcd (a, b)\) is at most 2. In this paper, we give an upper bound on the number of irreducible character degrees of nonsolvable groups satisfying the two-prime hypothesis and without composition factors isomorphic to \({{\mathrm{PSL}}}_2(q)\) for any prime power q.  相似文献

Category \(\mathcal{O}\) is a nice category of modules for a finite dimensional semisimple Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{g}\) It was first introduced by Bernstein–Gelfand–Gelfand in 1976. In the early 1980’s, Rocha–Caridi introduced parabolic category \(\mathcal{O}_S\), where S is a subset of simple roots. Category \(\mathcal{O}_S\) is a generalization of ordinary category O. These are highest weight categories that decompose into certain subcategories, called infinitesimal blocks. An infinitesimal block contains at most finitely many simple modules, and some contain only the zero module. The representation type of the infinitesimal blocks of category \(\mathcal{O}_S\) has been studied by Futorny–Nakano–Pollack, Brüstle–König–Mazorchuk, and Boe–Nakano. The representation type of the singular blocks of category \(\mathcal{O}_S\) is still generally unknown, though Boe–Nakano classified certain of these. Understanding when a singular block is zero is an important step to understanding the singular blocks in general. In this work, we will answer this question. It is given in terms of nilpotent orbits of \(\mathfrak{g}\).  相似文献

We say that an ideal \( \mathrm{\mathcal{I}}\) has property (T) if for every \( \mathrm{\mathcal{I}}\)-convergent series \( {\sum}_{n=1}^{\infty }{x}_n \), there exists a set A\( \mathrm{\mathcal{I}}\) such that ∑n?∈??\Ax n converges in the usual sense. A graph is said to be s-arc-regular if its full automorphism group acts regularly on the set of its s-arcs. In this paper, we investigate connected cubic s-arc-regular Cayley graphs of finite nonabelian simple groups. Two suffcient and necessary conditions for such graphs to be 1- or 2-arc-regular are given and based on the conditions, several infinite families of 1-or 2-arc-regular cubic Cayley graphs of alternating groups are constructed.  相似文献

We apply the discrete version of Calderón??s identity and Littlewood?CPaley?CStein theory with weights to derive the $(H^p_w, H^p_w)$ and $(H^p_w, L^p_w) (0<p\le 1)$ boundedness for multiparameter singular integral operators. It turns out that even in the one-parameter case, our results substantially improve the known ones in the literature where w????A 1 was needed. Our results in the multiparameter setting can be regarded as a natural extension of $L^p_w$ boundedness for p?>?1 for w????A p to the case of weighted Hardy spaces $H^p_w$ for p????1, but under a weaker assumption that w belongs to the class of product A ???? weights with respect to rectangles in product spaces.  相似文献

This paper gives a complete parametrization of the commensurability classes of totally geodesic subspaces of irreducible arithmetic quotients of \({X_{a, b} = (\mathbf{H}^2)^a\times (\mathbf{H}^3)^b}\). A special case describes all Shimura subvarieties of type \({\mathrm{A}_1}\) Shimura varieties. We produce, for any \({n\geq 1}\), examples of manifolds/Shimura varieties with precisely n commensurability classes of totally geodesic submanifolds/Shimura subvarieties. This is in stark contrast with the previously studied cases of arithmetic hyperbolic 3-manifolds and quaternionic Shimura surfaces, where the presence of one commensurability class of geodesic submanifolds implies the existence of infinitely many classes.  相似文献

Let G be a locally compact group, and let \(1\leqslant p < \infty \). Consider the weighted \(L^p\)-space \(L^p(G,\omega )=\{f:\int |f\omega |^p<\infty \}\), where \(\omega :G\rightarrow \mathbb {R}\) is a positive measurable function. Under appropriate conditions on \(\omega \), G acts on \(L^p(G,\omega )\) by translations. When is this action hypercyclic, that is, there is a function in this space such that the set of all its translations is dense in \(L^p(G,\omega )\)? Salas (Trans Am Math Soc 347:993–1004, 1995) gave a criterion of hypercyclicity in the case \(G=\mathbb {Z}\). Under mild assumptions, we present a corresponding characterization for a general locally compact group G. Our results are obtained in a more general setting when the translations only by a subset \(S\subset G\) are considered.  相似文献

One of the remarkable contributions in the study of symmetric Cayley graphs on nonabelian simple groups is the complete classification of such graphs that are cubic and nonnormal. This naturally motivates the study of cubic (normal and nonnormal) symmetric bi-Cayley graphs on nonabelian simple groups. In this paper, the full automorphism groups of these graphs are determined, and necessary and sufficient conditions are given for a graph being a cubic normal symmetric Cayley or bi-Cayley graph on a nonabelian simple group (one may then find many examples). As an application, we also prove that cubic symmetric Cayley graphs on nonabelian simple groups are stable.  相似文献
