A novel analysis of the Mathisson-Papapetrou-Dixon equations is presented employing mathematical tools that do not rely on the torsion free geometries used in previous literature. A system of differential algebraic equations that can be used to describe the motion of spinning particles in an arbitrary geometry is derived. The curvature in these equations can involve non-Riemannian contributions. Subsequently, this particular system of equations can accommodate modification to geodesic motion from both scalar fields and the spin of the particle. PACS: 02.40.Hw, 04.20.Cv, 04.40.Nr  相似文献

When the motion of a particle is constrained on the two-dimensional surface, excess terms exist in usual kinetic energy 1/(2m)∑ p i 2 with hermitian form of Cartesian momentum p i (i = 1,2,3), and the operator ordering should be taken into account in the kinetic energy which turns out to be 1/(2m)∑ (1/f i )p i f i p i where the functions f i are dummy factors in classical mechanics and nontrivial in quantum mechanics. The existence of non-trivial f i shows the universality of this constraint induced operator ordering in quantum kinetic energy operator for the constraint systems.  相似文献

Relativistic geometrical action for a quantum particle in the superspace is analyzed from theoretical group point of view. To this end an alternative technique of quantization outlined by the authors in a previous work and that is based in the correct interpretation of the square root Hamiltonian, is used. The obtained spectrum of physical states and the Fock construction consist of Squeezed States which correspond to the representations with the lowest weights and with four possible (non-trivial) fractional representations for the group decomposition of the spin structure. From the theory of semigroups the analytical representation of the radical operator in the superspace is constructed, the conserved currents are computed and a new relativistic wave equation is proposed and explicitly solved for the time-dependent case. The relation with the Relativistic Schr?dinger equation and the Time-dependent Harmonic Oscillator is analyzed and discussed.   相似文献

We analyse the interaction of a relativistic electron with a uniform magnetic field in the spiral dislocation spacetime.We show that analytical solutions to the Dirac equation can be obtained,where the spectrum of energy corresponds to the relativistic Landau levels.We also analyse the influence of the spiral dislocation on the relativistic Landau levels by showing that there exists an analogue of the Aharonov–Bohm effect for bound states.  相似文献

Canonical quantization has created many valid quantizations that require infinite-line coordinate variables. However, the half-harmonic oscillator, which is limited to the positive coordinate half, cannot receive a valid canonical quantization because of the reduced coordinate space. Instead, affine quantization, which is a new quantization procedure, has been deliberately designed to handle the quantization of problems with reduced coordinate spaces. The phenomenon of exchange degeneracy of 2-particle quantum states is studied in detail within the framework of Relativistic Schrödinger Theory (RST). In conventional quantum theory this kind of degeneracy refers to the circumstance that, under neglection of the interparticle interactions, symmetric and anti-symmetric 2-particle states have identical energy eigenvalues. However the analogous effect of RST degeneracy is rather related to the emergence of two types of mixtures (positive and negative) in connection with the vanishing or non-vanishing of certain components of the Hamiltonian (exchange fields). As a consequence, there arise two subcases of RST degeneracy: (i) mixture degeneracy through neglection of the exchange fields and (ii) exchange degeneracy through neglection of the mixture character of matter. The latter RST exchange degeneracy consists in the fact that the RST dynamics admits a certain set of pure-state solutions, as borderline case between positive and negative mixtures, and all these different solutions are generating the same physical situation, e.g., concerning mass eigenvalues and physical densities (of current and energy-momentum). The general results are exemplified by considering the 2-particle states for (scalar) Helium. Analogously as the conventional exchange degeneracy is broken (ortho- and para-Helium) by taking into account the interparticle interactions (e.g., Coulomb forces), the RST degeneracy is broken by simultaneously taking into account the mixture character of matter together with non-zero exchange fields.  相似文献

In this paper,the improved canonical quantization method of the self dual field is given in order to overcome linear combination problem about the second class constraint and the first class constraint number maximization problem in the Dirac method.In the improved canonical quantization method,there are no artificial linear combination and the first class constraint number maximization problems,at the same time,the stability of the system is considered.Therefore,the improved canonical quantization method is more natural and easier accepted by people than the usual Dirac method.We use the improved canonical quantization method to realize the canonical quantization of the self dual field,which has relation with string theory successfully and the results are equal to the results by using the Dirac method.  相似文献

A generalized Schrödinger approximation, due to Ikhdair & Sever, of the semi-relativistic two-body problem with a rectangular barrier in (1+1) dimensions is compared with exact computations. Exact and approximate transmission and reflection coefficients are obtained in terms of local wave numbers. The approximate transmission and reflection coefficients turn out to be surprisingly accurate in an energy range |ε-V0|<2μ c2, where μ is the reduced mass, ε the scattering energy, and V0 the barrier top energy. The aim of the present paper is to investigate the minimally coupled rotationally symmetric scalar field configurations in spatially closed Friedman-Robertson-Walker Universe with incoherent dust. We have got the closed form solution of the Klein-Gordon equation in terms of two real-valued linearly independent hypergeometric functions. The orthonormal set of positive-frequency-like parity modes thereafter derived points out that each parity given state is conformally built up of three Einsteinian particle states and also leads to the explicit coordinate-representation of the field propagator.  相似文献

The exact metric of a Schwarzschild black hole in the true radiation gauge was recently reported.In this work, we base on this gravity and calculate the gravitational deflection of relativistic massive particles up to the fourth post-Minkowskian order. It is found that the result is consistent with the previous formulations for both the case of dropping the fourth-order contribution and the case of light deflection. Our result might be helpful for future high-accuracy observations.  相似文献
