本文利用激光脉冲在硅基光波导(SOI)中传播时满足的非线性薛定谔方程,采用分步傅里叶变换,数值模拟了硅基光波导中啁啾高斯脉冲在反常色散区的传播特性.通过模拟发现,三阶色散正负主要决定了脉冲的振荡波形性质,克尔效应与双光子吸收对脉冲波形起调制作用,自由载流子效应则可以忽略.初始啁啾参数的正负存在影响了脉冲的振荡强弱变化和脉冲中心的漂移的趋势,并且无论是正啁啾还是负啁啾,脉冲振荡与漂移都随着啁啾的增大而更加剧烈,同时啁啾正向增大与负向增大,都将导致脉冲展宽越严重致主峰峰值越低. 相似文献

The paper reports on the characterization of a compact and simple side-pumped 0.538 J×100 Hz pulse Nd:YAG laser. A side-pumping configuration with 100 laser diode bars is used in the laser head. A Nd:YAG laser crystal was pumped at 946 nm and lased at 1064 nm. This pump-lase format was investigated in order to reduce the quantum defect between the pump and laser photons as compared to other pump schemes of this material. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first realization of this scheme. A room temperature absorption coefficient and linewidth of approximately 0.075 cm(-1) and approximately 1 nm for 1% at. Nd(+3) concentrations were measured for the 946 nm absorption line. Those parameters impose both narrow-bandwidth pumping and a long absorption path. By increasing the laser crystal temperature above room temperature, the absorption cross sections at 946 and 938 nm increase due to enhanced thermal population of the upper energy level of the ground manifold. The possibility of exploiting this phenomenon to enhance the pump absorption is also discussed. 相似文献

We present for the first time a Nd:YAG laser emitting at 1064 nm intracavity pumped by a 946 nm diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser.
A 885 nm laser diode is used to pump the first Nd:YAG crystal emitting at 946 nm, and the second Nd:YAG laser emitting at
1064 nm intracavity pumped at 946 nm. We achieved an output power of 7.97 W at 1064 nm for an absorbed pump power at 946 nm
of 9.55 W, corresponding to an optical efficiency of 83.4%. The beam quality M2 quality factor is about 1.1 at the maximum output power. 相似文献

We describe the output performance of the 1415 nm emission in Nd:YAG in a plane-concave cavity under traditional pumping into the 4F5/2 level (808 nm) and direct in-band pumping into the 4F3/2 level (885 nm). An end-pumped Nd:YAG laser yielded maximum cw output power of 6.3 W and 4.2 W at 885 nm and 808 nm laser diode (LD) pumping, respectively. To the best of our knowledge, this is the highest output power of a LD-pumped 1415 nm laser. 相似文献

We report for the first time (to our knowledge) a diode-pumped Nd:YAG laser emitting at 869 nm based on the (4)F(3/2)-(4)I(9/2) transition, generally used for a 946 nm emission. Power of 453 mW at 869 nm has been achieved in cw operation with a fiber-coupled laser diode emitting 35.4 W at 809 nm. Intracavity second-harmonic generation in the cw mode has also been demonstrated with power of 118 mW at 435 nm by using a BiB(3)O(6) nonlinear crystal. In our experiment, we used a LiNbO(3) crystal lens to complement the thermal lens of the laser rod, and we obtained good beam quality and high output power stability. 相似文献

根据计算得到的双波长激光振荡的阈值条件,激光实验中对全反镜镀制1 319和1 338 nm的全反膜(其反射率大于99.73%,而对1 064 nm激光的反射率约为7%);输出镜采用对1 064 nm强谱线95%的高透过率,而对1 319和1 338 nm谱线的透过率分别为34.7%,32.5%,有效抑制了强线1 064 nm振荡,成功实现了1 319和1 338 nm Nd:YAG同时双波长激光脉冲输出。当输入能量为125 J时,1 319和1 338 nm脉冲双波长激光的单脉冲总输出能量为0.89 J,电-光转换效率为0.71%,斜率效率为0.89%。输出的双波长激光的中心波长分别在1 318.8和1 338.2 nm处,谱线宽度(FWHM)分别为0.35和0.48 nm,强度之比为36:44。 相似文献
