The 16O(d, α)14N, 14N(d, α)12C and 12C(d, α)10B reactions at Ed = 40MeV and the 12C(α d)114N at Eα = 55 MeV were investigated. A total of seventeen transitions are analysed in terms of one-step, zero-range DWBA calculations, using the two-particle coefficients of fractional parentage obtained from the Cohen-Kurath Op shell wave functions. For most transitions, fair agreement is obtained between experiment and calculation, possible exceptions being the transition to the Ex = 4.43 MeV, Jπ = 2+ state in 12C and to the Ex = 2.15 MeV, Jπ = 1+ state in 10B, for which the calculations predict too much L = 0 strength. Where possible, a comparison with previous (p, 3He) results is made. In 14N a state at Ex = 11.04 MeV was observed for which the values (Jπ; T) = (3+; 0) are suggested. In 12C we found, in addition to the well known T = 0 states, two relatively sharp T = 0 states at Ex = 19.50 ± 0.10 and 20.55 ± 0.10 MeV. The shape and strength of the angular distribution for the transitions to these states can be approximately accounted for by the calculations, although no one-to-one correspondence between observed and predicted levels could be established.  相似文献

The angular distribution of low-energy positive pions (Eπ ≈ 11 MeV) produced by 154 MeV protons on a 10B target has been measured between 16.2° and 54.8° c.m. angles. Only pions corresponding to the ground state of 11B were observed. The data have been compared with theoretical angular distributions calculated in the framework of the one-nucleon mechanism using the DWBA formalism.  相似文献

The (3He, π±X) reaction has been studied at 910 MeV using the 3He++ beam of the CERN SC. Complete π? spectra on CH2, CD2, 9Be, 12C, 27Al, Cd and Pb, and π+ spectra on CH2, CD2 and 12C targets have been measured at 0°, up or close to the kinematic limit xF = 1. The photoproduction of neutral pions on12C has been investigated between threshold and 450 MeV photon energy using the tagged photon beam at the Bonn 500 MeV synchrotron and a large acceptance detector. Theπ 0 detector consists of cylindrical wire chambers covering a solid angle of nearly 4π. Using a scintillation counter as an active12C target an attempt was made to separate coherent and incoherentπ 0 photoproduction. The measured total and differential cross sections are compared to corresponding theoretical calculations.  相似文献

An extended level scheme of109Sn is presented showing high-spin states up to Ex≈ 8 MeV and spins up to=(41/2+). Their decay to the 5/2+ ground state has been observed identifying a 12.8 keV 7/2+ → 5/2+ transition. A half-life of T1/2=7(1) ns has been measured for the 17/2+ state atE x =2114 keV. The experimental data are compared with the predictions of shell-model calculations.  相似文献

Double differential cross sections of the reaction 14N(e, π+) have been measured at E0 = 173.5 MeV for pion production angles of Θπ = 25° and 100° which correspond to momentum transfer values of q2 = 0.22 and 1.14 fm2. Using the virtual photon theory single differential cross sections of the reaction 14n(γ, π+)14Cg.s. are extracted from the measured data. The data are compared with recent DWIA calculations and indicate a larger nuclear spin-flip transition matrix element between 14N and 14C than that obtained from β-decay. Mixing parameters for shell model wave functions of 14N and 14C ground states are derived from the data.  相似文献

The cross section and angular distribution for the reaction 13C(π+, γ)13N(g.s.) have been measured from 37 to 85° in the laboratory, at a pion energy of 115.5 MeV. The observed cross section ranges from 320 to 660 nbsr. These results do not show the large magnitude and wide-angle peaking expected if pre-critical effects due to nascent pion condensation were present. In addition, the observed cross section is less than one-half of the predictions of available theoretical calculations which do not include the pre-critical effect. Data on the reaction 1H(π?, γ)n at Tπ = 116.6 MeV were also obtained for calibration purposes. These data agree with expectations based on knowledge of the inverse reaction and previous measurements.  相似文献

Doppler-free two-photon laser spectroscopic measurements in the deep red spectral region have been performed on the transition 42 S 1/2→42 D J in the naturally abundant isotopes 39 and 41 of atomic potassium. The 4D level isotope shift, ?81±12 MHz was obtained by combining the current results with data from Rydberg-state spectroscopy. Many-body perturbation theoretical calculations of the specific mass shift in the measured state are also presented. With the use of Brueckner orbitals the value ?70 MHz was obtained in substantial agreement with the experimental result.  相似文献

X-rays from the Kα transition (2P → 1S) of the π?d mesic atom have been observed. Their energy, 2592.8 ?2.0+1.6, has been measured by the critical absorber technique, using the MV absorption edge in bismuth. The strong interaction shift in the 1S state is ?4.8 eV, corresponding to a scattering length a(πd) = ?(0.052?0.017+0.022)mπ?1, in agreement with recent calculations. The intensity ratio Kα/Ktotal = 0.548 ± 0.015.  相似文献

We have measured the differential cross section for π? elastically scattered from 12C atT?π=29 MeV. The scattered π? were detected with pion range telescopes. The measured angular distribution is compared with a momentum space optical potential calculation. Derived phase shifts are compared with those obtained from π+ data and from momentum and coordinate space calculations.  相似文献

A search for the charmed baryon, Λc+, has been carried out in inclusively, measured Λ0π±π+π? and K?π±p final states with longitudinal x > 0.75 in an experiment at the CERN intersecting storage rings. An effect with invariant mass near 2.3 GeV is observed in Λ0π+π+π? with cross section times branching ratio = (2.8±1.0) μb; similar effect is observed in K?π+p with = (2.3 ± 0.3) μb. The effect is seen only in the positive charge state, in agreement with an interpretation as Λc+. However, it is pointed out that in the same experiment, the non-charmed hyperon state Σ(1385)+ also has a cross section much larger than its corresponding negative charge state Σ(1385)?.  相似文献

Measurements of absolute elastic-scattering differential cross sections for π±He at Tlabπ = 30.2 MeV, 45.1 MeV and 65.0 MeV and for π±-4?4He at Tlabπ = 25.1 MeV and 51.1 MeV have been made in the angular range 40° to 145°. An overall accuracy of about ±5% was achieved. The results are compared with available theoretical calculations.  相似文献

Measurements of the linewidths in the (3) B2Π state of BeH and BeD which is predissociated by a 2Σ+ state show an anomalous isotope effect. Ab initio calculations of the five lowest excited 2Σ+ states of BeH show that the first excited 2Σ+ state is stable at a large inter-nuclear distance and is responsible for the observed predissociation. The anomalous isotope effect is explained by an indirect mechanism of predissociation involving this 2Σ+ state and the (3) 2Σ+ state which is separated from the (3) B2Π state by an energy of the order of magnitude of ωe. A new method to calculate the widths and the shifts of predissociated levels is presented and calculations in the case of BeH and BeD give good agreement with the experimental data.  相似文献

The structure of excited levels in the 7Li isotope is studied via inclusive and correlation measurements in the stopped π? meson absorption reactions 10B(π?, t)X and 12C(π?, dt)X, respectively. The experiment is conducted using a low-energy pion beam at the LAMPF meson factory. Analysis of the missing mass spectra reveals 7Li states with the resonance parameters (E x , Γ) (4.7, 0.1), (6.6, 0.9), (7.3, 0.1), (9.1, 2.8), and (9.6, 0.4) MeV. A highly excited state with E x ≈ 11.2 MeV (i.e., an isobar analog of 7He) is observed in the 10B(π?,t)X reaction. An excited state with E x = 10.3 ± 0.1 MeV and γ = 1.8 ± 0.4 Mev is observed for the first time in the 12C(π?,dt)X reaction.  相似文献

The spectra of fast π + mesons from the π ? Aπ + X reaction on A=6Li, 7Li, and 16O nuclei at a primary momentum of p 0=0.72 GeV/c (T 0=0.59 GeV) are measured at emission-angle values in the range ?=0°–14°. The results obtained in this way are compared with experimental data taken in other studies at lower energies and with the results of model calculations. The energy dependence of the cross sections and of shadowing effects is analyzed for the reactions in question that occur on lithium isotopes.  相似文献

Theg-factor of theJ π=21/2+ isomeric state in111In (T 1/2=13.3 ns) and of theJ π=6+ isomeric state in112Sn (T 1/2=13.7 ns) were measured using the spin rotation method. The result obtained for theJ π=21/2+ level in111In,g=+0.47 (2), indicates that this state has an almost pure ((πg 9/2)?1 νg 7/2 νd 5/2) shell model configuration. The experimental valueg=+0.04 (3) for theJ π=6+ isomer in112Sn agrees with the theoretical value calculated within the frame of the BCS model.  相似文献

Emission spectra of the cations of 2,5- and 3,5-difluorophenol, of 2,3,4- and 2,4,5-trifluorophenol, of 2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenol and of 2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorophenol have been obtained in the gas phase using low-energy electron beam excitation. The band systems are assigned to the B??1) → X??1) electronic transitions of these cations by reference to photoelectron spectroscopic data. The He(Iα) photoelectron spectra and the ionisation energies of ten fluoro-substituted phenols are reported. The symmetries of the four lowest electronic states of these cations are inferred from the radiative decay studies. The lifetimes of the lowest vibrational levels of the B??1) state of the six fluoro-substituted phenol cations above have also been measured.  相似文献

Excitation curves for the elastic and the inelastic scattering of polarized protons on the target nuclei 138Ba, 140Ce, 142Nd and 144Sm have been measured in the energy region of prominent isobaric analog resonances. A detailed analysis of the data is presented. Definite Jπ assignments are given for a number of parent analog states. Spectroscopic factors and amplitudes for configurations with the core in the ground state or in the 21+ excited state are derived from the elastic and inelastic proton decay amplitudes. They show consistency with sum rules including orthogonality conditions. Different methods for the-calculation of single particle decay widths have been applied. The qualitative agreement with present unified model calculations is remarkable; an overestimattion of the weak coupling structure, however, becomes apparent.  相似文献

The allowed Gamow-Teller β-decay information of Li,Be,B,C,and N isotopes under the frame work of nuclear shell model is calculated herein.Theoretical results of Q values,half-lives,excitation energies,log ft values,branching fractions,and β-delayed proton/neutron emission probabilities are tabulated and compared with experimental data.The deviations from the observations are also analyzed.The 11Be nucleus is well known for its anomaly ground state Jπ=1/2+.Thus,we compared the theoretical energy levels with the experimental data and the agreements for low excitation states are consistent.The quenching factor is also evaluated and discussed.  相似文献

Analyzing powers for p-3He elastic scattering have been measured at 12 energies between 1.75 and 4.50 MeV for θc.m. = 40° to 150°. A comparison of our results with earlier data of Drigo et al. shows substantial differences at all energies. The R-matrix fits to our data that were included in the global search calculations of Hale and Dodder are shown. These calculations established the ordering of the lowest-lying T = 1 levels of 4He as Jπ = 2?, 1? (triplet), 0?, and 1? (singlet), which is the WMI (MHI) ordering.  相似文献
