The forced monoharmonic bending vibrations and dissipative heating of a piezoelectric circular sandwich plate under monoharmonic mechanical and electrical loading are studied. The core layer is passive and viscoelastic. The face layers (actuators) are piezoelectric and oppositely polarized over the thickness. The plate is subjected to harmonic pressure and electrical potential. The viscoelastic behavior of the materials is described by complex moduli dependent on the temperature of heating. The coupled nonlinear problem is solved numerically. A numerical analysis demonstrates that the natural frequency, amplitude of vibrations, mechanical stresses, and temperature of dissipative heating can be controlled by changing the area and thickness of the actuator. It is shown that the temperature dependence of the complex moduli do not affect the electric potential applied to the actuator to compensate for the mechanical stress __________ Translated from Prikladnaya Mekhanika, Vol. 44, No. 1, pp. 79–89, January 2008.  相似文献

The coupled problem of forced vibrations and self-heating of thermoviscoelectroelastic shells of revolution with piezoceramic sensor and actuator under monoharmonic loading is solved. The temperature dependence of the complex characteristics of the passive and piezoactive materials is taken into account. The coupled nonlinear problem of thermoelectroelasticity is solved by time-marching integration, using discrete orhogonalization to integrate the equations of elasticity and explicit finite differencing to solve the heat conduction equation. The effect of the dimensions of the sensor and actuator and self-heating on the sensor voltage and on the active damping of forced vibrations of a circular plate under uniform monoharmonic transverse pressure is studied  相似文献

The axisymmetric forced vibrations of a circular sandwich plate on an elastic foundation are studied. The plate is subjected to axisymmetric surface and mechanical loads with frequency equal to one of the natural frequencies of the plate. The foundation reaction is described by the Winkler model. To describe the kinematics of an asymmetric sandwich, the hypothesis of broken normal is used. The core is assumed to be light. The analytical solution of the problem is obtained and numerical results are analyzed  相似文献

An approach to the active damping of the forced resonant vibrations of orthotropic thermoviscoelastic plates with distributed sensors and actuators is proposed. The mechanical load is assumed unknown and is determined from the sensors’ indications. The problem of active damping of an isotropic thermoviscoelastic rectangular plate with hinged edges is solved as an example. A formula for the voltage to be applied to the actuator to damp the forced vibrations in the first mode is derived. The effect of the dimensions of the sensor and actuator and the dissipative properties of the materials on the effectiveness of active damping is studied  相似文献

A unified formulation of the thermomechanical problem of laminated plates with von Karman nonlinearities, undergoing finite amplitude vibrations, is presented. It integrates mechanical and thermal aspects, by addressing them in parallel via the introduction of generalized 2D variables and equations also for the latter. The formulation virtually embeds a multitude of possible models, resulting from different assumptions about the plate mechanical and thermal configurations. The obtained continuous model is then subjected to a minimum reduction via Galerkin procedure. Some analyses of free and forced nonlinear vibrations under variable mechanical and/or thermal excitations are also carried out, to get some hints on the importance of different thermal aspects associated with membrane and bending dynamics, and on the possibility to catch them via variably simplified models.  相似文献

The paper deals with the coupled problem of flexural vibrations and dissipative heating of a viscoelastic ring plate with piezoceramic actuators under monoharmonic electromechanical loading. The temperature dependence of the complex characteristics of passive and piezoactive materials is taken into account. The coupled nonlinear problem of thermoviscoelasticity is solved by an iterative method. At each iteration, orthogonal discretization is used to integrate the equations of elasticity and an explicit finite-difference scheme is used to solve the heat-conduction equation with a nonlinear heat source. The effect of the dissipative heating temperature, boundary conditions, and the thickness and area of the actuator on the active damping of the forced vibrations of the plate under uniform transverse harmonic pressure is examined __________ Translated from Prikladnaya Mekhanika, Vol. 44, No. 2, pp. 99–108, February 2008.  相似文献

We study the hydrodynamic response of a thin layer of a viscous incompressible fluid squeezed between impermeable walls. We consider the distribution of pressure and force dynamic characteristics of the fluid layer in the case of forced flows along the gap between a vibration generator (which is a rigid plane) exhibiting harmonic vibrations and a stator (which is an elastic freely supported three-layer plate). The inertial forces of the viscous fluid motion and the stator elastic properties are taken into account. The amplitude and phase frequency characteristics of the elastic three-layer plate are found from the solution of the plane problem.  相似文献

The free and forced non-linear vibrations of a fixed orthotropic circular plate, with a concentric core of isotropic material, are studied. Existence of harmonic vibrations is assumed and thus the time variable is eliminated by a Ritz-Kantorovich method. Hence, the governing non-linear partial equations for the axisymmetric vibration of the composite circular plate are reduced to a set of ordinary differential equations which form a non-linear eigen-value problem. Solutions are obtained by utilizing the related initial-value problems in conjunction with Newton's integration method. The results reveal the effects of finite amplitude and anisotropy of materials upon the dynamic responses. Further, the method developed in this paper, which is used to solve the title problem, is one of some generality. It can be applied to many differential eigenvalue problems with piecewise continuous functions.  相似文献

The forced vibrations of a cylindrical orthotropic shell are studied. Two types of boundary conditions on the outer surface are examined considering that the displacement vector prescribed on the inner surface varies harmonically with time. Asymptotic solutions of associated dynamic equations of three-dimensional elasticity are found. Amplitudes of forced vibrations are determined and conditions under which resonance occurs are established. Boundary-layer functions are defined. The rate of their decrease with distance from the ends inside the shell is determined. A procedure of joining solutions for the internal boundary-layer problem is outlined in the case for the, if clamping boundary conditions are prescribed at the ends  相似文献

The paper addresses the forced flexural vibrations and dissipative heating of a circular viscoelastic plate with piezoactive actuators under axisymmetric loading. A refined formulation of this coupled problem is considered. The viscoelastic behavior of materials is described using the concept of complex moduli dependent on the temperature of dissipative heating. The electromechanical behavior of the plate is modeled based on the Timoshenko hypotheses for the mechanical variables and analogous hypotheses for the electric-field variables in the piezoactive layers of the actuator. The temperature is assumed constant throughout the thickness. The nonlinear problem is solved by a time stepping method using, at each step, the discrete-orthogonalization and finite-difference methods to solve the elastic and heat-conduction equations, respectively. A numerical study is made of the effect of the shear strain, the temperature dependence of the material properties, fixation conditions, and geometrical parameters of the plate on the vibrational characteristics and the electric potential applied to the actuator electrodes to balance the mechanical load Translated from Prikladnaya Mekhanika, Vol. 44, No. 9, pp. 104–114, September 2008.  相似文献

The Wiener–Hopf technique is used to construct an analytical solution of the problem of vibrations of a semiinfinite elastic floating plate under periodic external loading. The solution is obtained in explicit form ignoring draft. The dependences of the amplitudes of surface waves and iceplate deflection on the loading distribution and frequency, ice thickness, and liquid depth are studied numerically. It is established that for some types of acting load, no waves propagate in the plate and liquid and the plate vibrations are standing waves localized near the loading region. An example of such vibrations is given and a condition for the occurrence of localized vibrations is found.  相似文献

The dynamic thermomechanical problem for thin-walled laminated elements is formulated based on the geometrically linear theory and Kirchhoff–Love hypotheses. A simplified model of vibrations and dissipative heating of structurally inhomogeneous inelastic bodies under harmonic loading is used. The mechanical properties of materials are described using strain-dependent complex moduli. A nonstationary vibration-heating problem is solved. The dissipative function, derived from the stationary solution, is used to specify internal heat sources. The amplitude–frequency characteristics and spatial distributions of the main field variables are studied for a sandwich beam subjected to forced vibrations  相似文献

The problem of finite-amplitude, axisymmetric free and forced vibration of a circular plate is examined with various boundary conditions. The non-linear boundary-value problem is converted into the corresponding eigenvalue problem by elimination of the time variable. Then by a Newton-Raphson iteration scheme, and the concept of analytical continuation, the solution to the non-linear eigenvalue problem for the vibrations is obtained in a discrete form. It is seen that the removal of radial restraint causes drastic changes in the plate responses and the patterns of membrane stresses. Comparison with solutions based on the Berger assumption reveals the unsuitability of the assumption when the plate is not radially restrained.  相似文献

As a generalization considering small fluid-structural vibrations, the present paper examines the finite magnitude oscillatory motion of an elastically supported rigid cylinder in a cylindrical rigid duct conveying a compressible flow. The fluid is assumed to be inviscid and irrotational and free purely transverse vibrations of the body are dealt with. The governing equations of motion are the fully nonlinear Euler equations together with the continuity equation and a state equation (here for an ideal gas), the ordinary differential equation for the vibrating cylinder, and the kinematical transition and boundary conditions at the moving contact interface between fluid and body and the outside fluid border, respectively. A pertubation analysis is performed to calculate not only the dynamic characteristics for small coupled oscillations but also the corrections due to the inherent nonlinearities of the vibroacoustic problem. To make the calculation steps more transparent, the simpler problem of a two-dimensional channel flow between a rigid wall and an elastically supported rigid plate is also included in the present study. As an outlook, the influence of flexibility of the cylinder (or the plate) is addressed and the problem of forced vibrations is touched. This revised version was published online in July 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.  相似文献

The problem of induced resonance vibrations and dissipation heating in a rectangular bimorphous plate made of a dissipative piezoelectric material under a harmonic potential difference is tackled. The edges of the plate are considered to be hinged and ideally thermally insulated. The dissipation properties of the material are taken into account on the basis of the concept of complex characteristics, which are assumed to be temperature-independent. An exact solution is found for the problem. The critical value of the load parameter is determined when the maximum temperature reaches the Curie point. A finite-element method has been developed for investigating the dynamic behavior and temperature of vibrational heating that bimorphous plates made of a viscoelastic material undergo under a harmonic load. The results obtained for the electromechanical vibrations of plates by finite-element calculations and by an analytical solution are compared. The problem on the nonstationary vibrations of plates under periodic loading is formulated with regard for the damping factor and the initial conditions. A technique for solution of the problem is proposed. It is based on the method of integral Laplace transformations, the theory of residues, and the method of asymptotic approximations. Examples related to the change of the extinction coefficient are considered for different plate materials. A general formula for bending of the plate has been derived  相似文献

A model of an equipped elastic rod is considered. In the average sense, this model shows the properties of the one-dimensional Cosserat continuum during longitudinal and torsional motions. Natural and forced torsional vibrations are studied in the case of flow loading. Several conditions for vibration stability and for the end of vibrations are formulated. The following distinctive features of motion are found: each vibration mode has two different shapes and two different frequencies and the onset of the divergence regime is observed when the external loads become more intensive.  相似文献
