We report on a carbon ionic liquid electrode modified with a composite made from Nafion, graphene oxide and ionic liquid, and its application to the sensitive determination of rutin. The modified electrode was characterized by cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. It shows excellent cyclic voltammetric and differential pulse voltammetric performance due to the presence of nanoscale graphene oxide and the ionic liquid, and their interaction. A pair of well-defined redox peaks of rutin appears at pH 3.0, and the reduction peak current is linearly related to its concentration in the range from 0.08 μM to 0.1 mM with a detection limit of 0.016 μM (at 3σ). The modified electrode displays excellent selectivity and good stability, and was successfully applied to the determination of rutin in tablets with good recovery.

In this paper, self-assembled Prussian blue nanocubic particles on nanoporous glassy carbon was developed. The morphology of the PBNP-modified porous glassy carbon was characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The PBNP-GCE-red film-modified electrode was used for the sensitive detection of hydrogen peroxide. The electrochemical behavior of the resulting sensor was investigated using cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The value of α, k cat, and D was calculated as 0.35, 1.7 × 105 cm3 mol?1 s?1, and 2.6 × 10?5 cm2 s?1, respectively. The calibration curve for hydrogen peroxide determination was linear over 0–600 μM with a detection limit (S/N = 3) of 0.51 μM.  相似文献

Phytic acid (PA) with its unique structure was attached to a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to form PA/GCE modified electrode which was characterized by electrochemical impedance. The electrochemical behavior of cytochrome c (Cyt c) on the PA/GCE modified electrode was explored by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. The Cyt c displayed a quasi-reversible redox process on PA modified electrode pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution with a formal potential (E 0′) of 57 mV (versus Ag/AgCl). The peak currents were linearly related to the square root of the scan rate in the range of 20–120 mV·s?1. The electron transfer rate constant was determined to be 12.5 s?1. The PA/GCE modified electrode was applied to the determination of Cyt c, in the range of 5?×?10?6 to 3?×?10?4 M, the currents increase linearly to the Cyt c concentration with a correlation coefficient 0.9981. The detection limit was 1?×?10?6 M (signal/noise?=?3).  相似文献

Dopamine-melanin colloidal nanospheres (Dpa-melanin CNDs)–graphene composites-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was prepared by a simple procedure and then successfully used to simultaneously determine guanine and adenine. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used to characterize the morphology of the Dpa-melanin CNSs–graphene composite. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used to characterize the electrode modifying process. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) was used to study the electrocatalytic activity toward the electrochemical oxidation of guanine and adenine. The modified electrode exhibited enhanced electrocatalytic behavior and good stability for the simultaneous determination of guanine and adenine compared with bare GCE. The electrochemical biosensor exhibited wide linear range of 0.5 to 150 μM with detection limit of 0.05 and 0.03 μM for guanine and adenine detection (S/N?=?3), respectively. Furthermore, the biosensor showed high sensitivity, good selectivity, good reproducibility, and long-term stability to guanine and adenine detection. At the same time, the fabricated electrode was successfully applied for the determination of guanine and adenine in denatured DNA samples with satisfying results. These results demonstrated that Dpa-melanin CNSs–graphene composite was a promising substrate for the development of high-performance electrochemical biosensor.  相似文献

Cerium-doped zirconium oxide (Ce/ZrO2) was introduced as a highly efficient electrocatalyst for electrooxidation of salicylic acid (SA). The electrocatalyst material was synthesized via co-precipitation of cerium and zirconium ions, and then the resulting solid was heat-treated at high temperature to create crystallized cerium-doped zirconium oxide nanoparticles. The obtained material was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction methods. The Ce/ZrO2-modified carbon paste electrode (Ce/ZrO2-CPE) exhibited a distinct oxidative peak for SA, whereas no signal was observed for SA at unmodified carbon paste electrode at the same experimental conditions. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were applied to investigate the electrocatalytic performance of the electrode and SA electrooxidation mechanism. Square wave voltammetry was used to capture the analytical signal of SA. The electrode composition was optimized to increase the SA signal. Using the optimized electrode, it became possible to determine SA in the concentration range of 5.0–1000.0 μM with detection limit of 1.1 μM (3Sb/m). The electrode showed very high sensitivity of 1013.5 μA mM?1 cm?2 which is remarkably better than the previously reported SA sensors. The proposed method was successfully applied for the determination of SA in human serum, milk, and pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

Enzyme-free amperometric ultrasensitive determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) was investigated using a Prussian blue (PB) film-modified gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) graphite–wax composite electrode. A stable PB film was obtained on graphite surface through 2-aminoethanethiol (AET)-capped AuNPs by a simple approach. Field emission scanning electron microscope studies results in formation of PB nanoparticle in the size range of 60–80 nm. Surface modification of PB film on AET–AuNPs–GW composite electrode was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared attenuated total reflection (FTIR-ATR) spectroscopy studies. Highly sensitive determination of H2O2 at a peak potential of ?0.10 V (vs. SCE) in 0.1 M KCl PBS, pH?=?7.0) at a scan rate of 20 mVs?1 with a sensitivity of 23.58 μA/mM was observed with the modified electrode using cyclic voltammetry. The synergetic effect of PB film with AuNPs has resulted in a linear range of 0.05 to 7,800 μM with a detection limit of 0.015 μM for H2O2 detection with the present electrode. Chronoamperometric studies recorded for the successive additions of H2O2 with the modified electrode showed an excellent linearity (R 2?=?0.9932) in the range of 4.8?×?10?8 to 7.4?×?10?8 M with a limit of detection of 1.4?×?10?8 M. Selective determination of H2O2 in presence of various interferents was successfully demonstrated. Human urine samples and stain remover solutions were also investigated for H2O2 content.  相似文献

In this study, an oxadiazole multi-wall carbon nanotube-modified glassy carbon electrode (OMWCNT−GCE) was used as a highly sensitive electrochemical sensor for hydrazine determination. The surface charge transfer rate constant, k s, and the charge transfer coefficient, α, for electron transfer between GCE and electrodeposited oxadiazole were calculated as 19.4 ± 0.5 s−1 and 0.51, respectively at pH = 7.0. The obtained results indicate that hydrazine peak potential at OMWCNT−GCE shifted for 14, 109, and 136 mV to negative values as compared with oxadiazole-modified GCE, MWCNT−GCE, and activated GCE surface, respectively. The electron transfer coefficient, α, and the heterogeneous rate constant, k′, for the oxidation of hydrazine at OMWCNT−GCE were also determined by cyclic voltammetry measurements. Two linear dynamic ranges of 0.6 to 10.0 μM and 10.0 to 400.0 μM and detection limit of 0.17 μM for hydrazine determination were evaluated using differential pulse voltammetry. In addition, OMWCNT−GCE was shown to be successfully applied to determine hydrazine in various water samples.

A novel electrochemical platform based on ZnS-doped graphene (GR-ZnS) nanocomposites was developed to achieve the direct electron transfer between hemoglobin (Hb) and the modified electrode. GR-ZnS nanocomposites were synthesized via noncovalent functionalization of pristine graphene (GR) by 1-aminopyrene and subsequent in situ synthesis of ZnS nanoparticles on the GR surface. During this process, the intrinsic electronic properties of GR could be efficiently protected. The as-prepared GR-ZnS nanocomposites were characterized and identified by means of transmission electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer analysis, indicating the uniform formation of ZnS nanoparticles on the surface of GR. Fourier transform infrared spectra spectroscopic results confirmed that Hb remained its native structure in the nanocomposite material. The GR-ZnS nanocomposites could efficiently promote the direct electron transfer between Hb and electrode with the electron transfer rate constant (k s) of 3.42 s?1. The modified electrode was then used for the determination of H2O2 based on the electrocatalytic activity of Hb towards H2O2, which exhibited a linear range from 10 to 250 μM with a detection limit of 1.12 μM. The proposed method to fabricate GR-based hybrid nanomaterials would have a great potential for applications in various fields such as electrochemical sensing, catalytic reaction, and super capacitors.  相似文献

A novel multi-function Metal-Organic Framework composite Ag@Zn-TSA (zinc thiosalicylate, Zn(C7H4O2S), Zn-TSA) was synthesized as highly efficient immobilization matrixes of myoglobin (Mb)/glucose oxidase (GOx) for electrochemical biosensing. The electrochemical biosensors based on Ag@Zn-TSA composite and ionic liquid (IL) modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) were fabricated successfully. Furthermore, the properties of the sensors were discussed by cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and amperometric current-time curve, respectively. The results showed the proposed biosensors had wide linear response to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in the range of 0.3–20,000 μM, to nitrite (NO2) for 1.3 μM–1660 μM and 2262 μM–1,33,000 μM, to glucose for 2.0–1022 μM, with a low detection limit of 0.08 μM for H2O2, 0.5 μM for NO2, 0.8 μM for glucose. The values of the apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant (ks) for Mb and GOx were estimated as 2.05 s−1 and 2.45 s−1, respectively. Thus, Ag@Zn-TSA was a kind of ideal material as highly efficient immobilization matrixes for sensitive electrochemical biosensing. In addition, this work indicated that MOF nanocomposite had a great potential for constructing wide range of sensing interface.  相似文献

Novel films consisting of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were fabricated by means of the chemical vapor deposition technique with decomposition of either acetonitrile (ACN) or benzene (BZ) in the presence of ferrocene (FeCp2) which served as catalyst. The electrochemical response of the two different kinds of MWCNT-based films, further referred to as MWCNT-ACN and MWCNT-BZ, towards the oxidation of dopamine (DA) to dopamine-o-quinone (DAQ) was tested by means of cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Both MWCNT-based films exhibit quasi-reversible response towards DA/DAQ with some slight kinetic differences; specifically, the charge-transfer process was found to be faster on MWCNT-ACN (k s?=?35.3?×?10?3 cm s?1) compared to MWCNT-BZ (k s?=?6.55?×?10?3 cm s?1). The detection limit of MWCNT-BZ for DA (0.30 μM) appears to be poorer compared to that of MWCNT-ACN (0.03 μM), but nevertheless, both MWCNT-based films exhibit greater detection ability compared to other electrodes reported in the literature. The sensitivities of MWCNT-ACN and MWCNT-BZ towards DA/DAQ were determined as 0.65 and 0.22?A M?1 cm?2, respectively. The findings suggest that the fabricated MWCNT-based electrodes can be successfully applied for the detection of molecules with biological interest.  相似文献

A novel polyaniline and titanium carbide (PANI–TiC) nanocomposite was synthesized by an in situ chemical oxidative polymerization method, and a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) biosensor was fabricated by PANI–TiC with hemoglobin (Hb)-modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy showed the morphology and ingredient of PANI–TiC. Electrochemical investigation of the biosensor showed a pair of well-defined, quasi-reversible redox peaks with E pa?=??0.318 V and E pc?=??0.356 V (vs SCE) in 0.1 M, pH 7.0 sodium phosphate-buffered saline at the scan rate of 150 mV s?1. Transfer rate constant (k s) was 2.01 s?1. The Hb/PANI–TiC/GCE showed a good electrochemical catalytic response for the reduction of H2O2 with the linear range from 0.5 to 285.5 μM and the detection limit of 0.2 μM (S/N?=?3). The apparent Michaelis–Menten constant (K m) was estimated to be 1.21 μM. Therefore, the PANI–TiC as a novel matrix opened up a further possibility for study on the design of enzymatic biosensors with potential applications.  相似文献

This paper reported a simple method for sulfanilamide determination by redox process electroanalysis of oxidation products (SFDox) formed in situ on glassy carbon electrode. The CV experiments showed a reversible process after applied E acc = + 1.06 V and t acc = 1 s, in 0.1 mol L?1 BRBS (pH = 2.0) at 50 mV s?1. Different voltammetric scan rates (from 10 to 450 mV s?1) suggested that the redox peaks of SFDox on the glassy carbon electrode (GCE) is an adsorption-controlled process. Square-wave voltammetry (SWV) method optimized conditions showed a linear response to SFD from 3.00 to 250.0 μmol L?1 (R = 0.998) with a limit of detection of 0.638 μmol L?1 and limit of quantification of 2.0 μmol L?1. The developed the SWV method was successfully used in the determination of SFD pharmaceutical formulation and human serum. The SFD quantification results in pharmaceutical obtained by SWV-GCE were comparable to those found by official analytical protocols.  相似文献

Nonylphenol (NP) was determined using electrochemical method based on ionic liquid-functionalized graphene nanosheet modified electrode. The fabricated electrode was characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The different influence parameters, such as pH value, scan rate, accumulation potential, and time, were investigated. Under the optimum conditions, the linear relationship between peak current value and concentration of NP was obtained with differential pulse voltammetry in two ranges from 0.5 to 30 μM and 30 to 200 μM with the detection limit of 0.058 μM (S/N?=?3). Moreover, this modified electrode was applied to NP determination in water and soil samples with the recoveries from 94.8 to 104 %, which showed the method could be applied to determine NP in environment. In addition, to explore the damage to DNA, the interaction between NP and DNA was investigated with the association constant (β) of 0.4867 and the Hill coefficient (m) of 3.75?×?105 M?1, respectively.  相似文献

A carbon paste electrode based on γ-cyclodextrin–carbon nanotube composite (γ-CD–CNT–CME) was developed for the determination of propranolol hydrochloride (PRO). The electrochemical behaviour of PRO was investigated employing cyclic voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry (DPAdSV). Surface morphology of the electrode has been studied by means of scanning electron microscopy. The results revealed that the oxidation of PRO is facilitated at γ-CD–CNT–CME. Under the optimized conditions in Britton–Robinson buffer pH 1.5, the peak currents were found to vary linearly with their concentrations in the range of 1.42 × 10?7 to 4.76 × 10?5 M. A detection limit (S/N = 3) of 4.01 × 10?8 M was obtained for PRO by means of DPAdSV. The proposed method was employed for the determination of PRO in pharmaceutical formulations, urine and blood serum samples.  相似文献

The direct electron transfer of glucose oxidase (GOx) was achieved based on the immobilization of CdSe@CdS quantum dots on glassy carbon electrode by multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs)-chitosan (Chit) film. The immobilized GOx displayed a pair of well-defined and reversible redox peaks with a formal potential (E θ’) of ?0.459 V (versus Ag/AgCl) in 0.1 M pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution. The apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constants (k s) of GOx confined in MWNTs-Chit/CdSe@CdS membrane were evaluated as 1.56 s?1 according to Laviron's equation. The surface concentration (Γ*) of the electroactive GOx in the MWNTs-Chit film was estimated to be (6.52?±?0.01)?×?10?11?mol?cm?2. Meanwhile, the catalytic ability of GOx toward the oxidation of glucose was studied. Its apparent Michaelis–Menten constant for glucose was 0.46?±?0.01 mM, showing a good affinity. The linear range for glucose determination was from 1.6?×?10?4 to 5.6?×?10?3?M with a relatively high sensitivity of 31.13?±?0.02 μA?mM?1?cm?2 and a detection limit of 2.5?×?10?5?M (S/N=3).  相似文献

Abstract

The electrochemical behavior of Colour Index Acid Blue 120 at carbon paste electrode is studied with cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry for the first time. Two irreversible oxidative peaks at 0.61 V (Pa,1) and 0.90 V(Pa,2) (both vs. SCE) are found at a scan rate of 0.1 V/s. Their electrode processes are both adsorption-controlled with two electrons and two protons participating. The peak currents of the Pa,1 are proportional to the concentration of Colour Index Acid Blue 120 in the range of 2.08–20.80 µM and 62.4–520.0 µM. The coexisting substances such as inorganic ions and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether do not interfere with the determination. The method is applied to the determination of dye-uptake for Colour Index Acid Blue 120 dyeing silk. The results are in good agreement with the spectrophotometric method.  相似文献

In this study, a new procedure for the fabrication of biosensors was developed. The method is based on the covalent attachment of nitrophenyl groups to the electrode surface via diazonium salt reaction followed by their conversion to amine moieties through electrochemical reduction and electrostatic layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly technique. In this procedure, highly stable iron oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticles (IONPs), chitosan (CHIt), GOx, and Nile blue (NB) were assembled on the surface of aminophenyl modified glassy carbon electrode (AP/GCE) by LbL assembly technique. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used to characterize the interfaces. The surface coverage of the active GOx and Michaelis–Menten constant (K M) of the immobilized GOx were Γ?=?3.38?×?10?11 mol cm?2 and 2.54 mM, respectively. The developed biosensor displayed a well-defined amperometric response for glucose determination with high sensitivity (8.07 μA mM?1) and low limit of detection (LOD) of 19.0 μM. The proposed approach allows simple biointerface regeneration by increasing pH which causes disruption of the ionic interactions and release of the electrostatic attached layers. The biosensor can then be reconstructed again using fresh enzyme. Simple preparation, good chemical and mechanical stabilities, and easy surface renewal are remarkable advantages of the proposed biosensor fabrication procedure.  相似文献

In this paper, the use of molecular self-assembled monolayers of 5-(1,3-dithiolan-2-eyl)-3-methyl banzen-1,2-diol (DMD) on gold nanoparticles was described (DMD-AuNPs). The redox properties of modified electrode at various scan rates were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. A pair of well-defined quasi-reversible redox peaks of DMD were obtained at the modified electrode. Dramatically enhanced electrocatalytic activity was exemplified at the DMD-AuNPs, as an electrochemical sensor to investigate the electro-oxidation of isoprenaline (IP). With this modified electrode, the oxidation potential of the IP was shifted about 235 mV toward a less positive potential value than that of an unmodified electrode. The values of electron transfer coefficients (α = 0.5), catalytic rate constant (ks = 9.2 s?1) and diffusion coefficient (D = 8.9 × 10?5 cm2 s?1) were calculated for IP. The response of catalytic current with IP concentration showed a linear relation in the range from 0.5 to 800 µM with a detection limit of 0.21 µM. Finally, this modified electrode was used for the determination of IP in IP injections.  相似文献

This article is focused on the electrochemical investigation (cyclic voltammetry and related studies) of the redox couple Sm(III)/Sm(II) in an eutectic LiF–CaF2 melt containing SmF3. The first step of reduction for Sm(III) ions involving one electron exchange in soluble/soluble Sm(III)/Sm(II) system was found on a tungsten electrode. The study of the Sm(II)/Sm(0) electrode reaction was not feasible, due to insufficient electrochemical stability of LiF–CaF2. The first step was found reversible at temperatures 1,075 and 1,125 K up to polarization rate 1 V/s and at temperature 1,175 K the process was reversible at all sweep rates applied in this study. The diffusion coefficients (D) of Sm(II) and Sm(III) ions were determined by cyclic voltammetry, showing that D decreases when oxidation state increase, while the activation energy of diffusion (E a) increases. The standard rate constants of charge transfer (k s) were calculated for the redox couple Sm(III)/Sm(II) at 1,075 and 1,125 K based on the data of cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

Poly(2-amino-5-(4-pyridinyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole) (PAPT) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was fabricated and used for the simultaneous determinations of dopamine (DA), uric acid (UA) and nitrite (NO2 ?) in 0.1 mol?L?1 phosphate buffer solution (PBS, pH 5.0) by using cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) techniques. The results showed that the PAPT modified GCE (PAPT/GCE) not only exhibited electrocatalytic activities towards the oxidation of DA, UA and NO2 ? but also could resolve the overlapped voltammetric signals of DA, UA and NO2 ? at bare GCE into three strong and well-defined oxidation peaks with enhanced current responses. The peak potential separations are 130 mV for DA–UA and 380 mV for UA–NO2 ? using DPV, which are large enough for the simultaneous determinations of DA, UA and NO2 ?. Under the optimal conditions, the anodic peak currents were correspondent linearly to the concentrations of DA, UA and NO2 ? in the ranges of 0.95–380 μmol?L?1, 2.0–1,000 μmol?L?1 and 2.0–1,200 μmol?L?1 for DA, UA and NO2 ?, respectively. The correlation coefficients were 0.9989, 0.9970 and 0.9968, and the detection limits were 0.2, 0.35 and 0.6 μmol?L?1 for DA, UA and NO2 ?, respectively. In 0.1 mol?L?1 PBS pH 5.0, the PAPT film exhibited good electrochemical activity, showing a surface-controlled electrode process with the apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant (k s) of 25.9 s?1 and the charge–transfer coefficient (α) of 0.49, and thus displayed the features of an electrocatalyst. Due to its high sensitivity, good selectivity and stability, the modified electrode had been successfully applied to the determination of analytes in serum and urine samples.  相似文献
