Phytic acid (PA) with its unique structure was attached to a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to form PA/GCE modified electrode which was characterized by electrochemical impedance. The electrochemical behavior of cytochrome c (Cyt c) on the PA/GCE modified electrode was explored by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. The Cyt c displayed a quasi-reversible redox process on PA modified electrode pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution with a formal potential (E 0′) of 57 mV (versus Ag/AgCl). The peak currents were linearly related to the square root of the scan rate in the range of 20–120 mV·s?1. The electron transfer rate constant was determined to be 12.5 s?1. The PA/GCE modified electrode was applied to the determination of Cyt c, in the range of 5?×?10?6 to 3?×?10?4 M, the currents increase linearly to the Cyt c concentration with a correlation coefficient 0.9981. The detection limit was 1?×?10?6 M (signal/noise?=?3).  相似文献

A new composite electrode of multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs) and 1-dodecyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (DDMIMPF6) was fabricated to determine rutin. This electrode showed very attractive electrochemical performances compared to other kinds of ionic liquid modified electrodes and notably improved sensitivity and stability. Electrochemical behavior of rutin at the composite electrode had been investigated in pH 2.09 Britton–Robinson buffer solution by cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry. The experimental results suggested that the composite electrode exhibited an electrocatalytic activity toward the redox of rutin. The electrochemical parameters of rutin were calculated with the results of the charge transfer coefficient (α) and the standard rate constant (k s) as 0.48 and 2.09 s?1. Under the selected conditions, the reduction peak current was linearly dependent on the concentration of rutin in the range of 0.03–1.5 μM, with a detection limit of 0.01 μM (S/N?=?3). The relative standard deviation for six times successive determination of 1 μM rutin was 1.6 %. The method was successfully applied to the determination of rutin in tablets and urine samples without the influence of the coexisting substances. In addition, the MWNTs/DDMIMPF6 composite electrode exhibits a distinct advantage of simple preparation, surface renewal, good reproducibility, and stability.  相似文献

The direct electrochemistry of herring sperm double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) on an ionic liquid N-butylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate modified carbon paste electrode was investigated. The cyclic voltammogram showed two irreversible oxidation peaks at 0.868 V and 1.188 V (vs. SCE), which corresponded to the oxidation of guanine and adenine residues, respectively. Compared to the common carbon paste electrode the electrochemical response was greatly improved. The electrochemical behavior of dsDNA on the modified electrode was carefully investigated with the electrochemical parameters were calculated. Under optimal conditions the dsDNA can be directly determined in the concentration range from 50 to 600 μg mL?1 with a detection limit of 17 μg mL?1 (3σ).  相似文献

A carbon paste electrode (CPE) modified with Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4 NP) and the ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (IL BMI.PF6) was employed for the electroanalytical determination of estrone (E1) by square-wave voltammetry (SWV). At the modified electrode, cyclic voltammograms of E1 in B–R buffer (pH 12.0) showed an adsorption-controlled irreversible oxidation peak at around +0.365 V. The anodic current increased by a factor of five times and the peak potential shifted 65 mV to less positive values compared with the unmodified CPE. Under optimized conditions, the calibration curve obtained showed two linear ranges: from 4.0 to 9.0 μmol L?1 and from 9.0 to 100.0 μmol L?1. The limits of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) attained were 0.47 and 4.0 μmol L?1, respectively. The proposed modified electrode was applied to the determination of E1 in pork meat samples. Data provided by the proposed modified electrode were compared with data obtained by UV–vis spectroscopy. The outstanding performance of the electrochemical device indicates that Fe3O4 NP and the IL BMI.PF6 are promising materials for the preparation of chemically modified electrodes for the determination of E1.  相似文献

A highly sensitive electrochemical sensor for determination of L-cysteine (CySH) is presented. It is based on vertically aligned multiwalled carbon nanotubes modified with Pt nanoparticles by magnetron sputtering deposition. The morphology of the nanocomposite was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and energy-dispersive. The electrochemistry of CySH was investigated by cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry and chronoamperometry. The mechanism for the electrochemical reaction of CySH at the modified electrode at different pH values is discussed. The electrode exhibits a higher electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of CySH than comparable other electrodes. It displays a linear dependence (R 2?=?0.9980) on the concentration of CySH in the range between 1 and 500 μM and at an applied potential of +0.45 V, a remarkably low detection limit of 0.5 μM (S/N?=?3), and an outstandingly high sensitivity of 1.42?×?103 μA?mM?1?cm?2, which is the highest value ever reported. The electrode also is highly inert towards other amino acids, creatinine and urea. The sensor was applied to the determination of CySH in urine with satisfactory recovery, thus demonstrating its potential for practical applications.

A self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of thiol modified chitosan (SH-CHIT), with thioglycolic acid (TGA) as a modifier to bestow thiol groups, has been prepared onto gold (Au)-coated glass plates for fabrication of the nucleic acid biosensor. The chemical modification of CHIT via TGA has been evidenced by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) studies, and the biocompatibility studies reveal that CHIT retains its biocompatible nature after chemical modification. The electrochemical studies conducted onto SH-CHIT/Au electrode reveal that thiol modification in CHIT amino end enhances the electrochemical behavior indicating that it may be attributed to delocalization of electrons in CHIT skeleton that participates in the resonance process. The carboxyl group modified end of DNA probe has been immobilized onto SH-CHIT/Au electrode using N-ethyl-N′-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodimide (EDC) and N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) chemistry for detection of complementary, one-base mismatch and non-complementary sequence using electrochemical and optical studies for Mycobacterium tuberculosis detection. It has been found that DNA-SH-CHIT/Au bioelectrode can specifically detect 0.01 μM of target DNA concentration with sensitivity of 1.69?×?10?6 A μM?1.  相似文献

An electrochemical oxidation route was developed for sensitive and selective assay of nitrotriazolone (NTO) explosive in some environmental samples on a multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNTs)/TiO2 nanocomposite paste electrode, for prevention of the analytical interference of conventional reducible energetic compounds. Detailed evaluations were made for the electrochemical behaviour of NTO on the modified electrode by adsorptive stripping voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and chronoamperometry techniques in the pH range of 2.0–10.0. Parameters such as diffusion coefficient constant of NTO were calculated, and various experimental conditions were also optimised. Under optimal conditions the calibration curve had two linear dynamic ranges of 130.0–3251.5 μg L?1 and 6.5–26.0 mg L?1 with a detection limit of 26.0 μg L?1 (0.2 μmol L?1) and precision of <3%. This electrochemical sensor was further applied to determine NTO in real soil and water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

An electrochemical sensor was developed for determination of hydrogen peroxide (HP) based on a carbon ceramic electrode modified with iron pentacyanonitrosylferrate (FePCNF). The surface of an iron-doped CCE was derivatized in a solution of PCNF by cycling the electrode potential between ?0.2 and +1.3 V for about 60 times. The morphology and the composition of the resulting electrode were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared techniques. The electrode displayed excellent response to the electro-oxidation of HP which is linearly related to its concentration in the range from 0.5 μM to 1300 μM. The detection limit is 0.4 μM, and the sensitivity is 849 A M ?1?cm ?2. The modified electrode was used to determination of HP in hair coloring creams as real samples.  相似文献

An amperometric biosensor for nitrite was prepared by immobilizing cytochrome c (Cyt c) on a gold electrode that was modified with Nafion and a Cu-Mg-Al layered double hydroxide (Cu-LDH). The Cu-LDH was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and powder X-ray diffraction. The UV-visible spectrum suggests that Cyt c retains its native conformation in the modified film. The direct electrochemical investigation indicated that the composite film represents a good platform for the immobilization of Cyt c as well as an excellent promoter for the electron transfer between Cyt c and the gold electrode. Moreover, the biosensor showed a remarkable bioelectrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of nitrite with a linear range from 0.75 to 123 μM. The detection limit is 2?×?10?7 M (S/N?=?3). The biosensor was successfully applied to the determination of nitrite in food samples.  相似文献

In this paper, the use of molecular self-assembled monolayers of 5-(1,3-dithiolan-2-eyl)-3-methyl banzen-1,2-diol (DMD) on gold nanoparticles was described (DMD-AuNPs). The redox properties of modified electrode at various scan rates were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. A pair of well-defined quasi-reversible redox peaks of DMD were obtained at the modified electrode. Dramatically enhanced electrocatalytic activity was exemplified at the DMD-AuNPs, as an electrochemical sensor to investigate the electro-oxidation of isoprenaline (IP). With this modified electrode, the oxidation potential of the IP was shifted about 235 mV toward a less positive potential value than that of an unmodified electrode. The values of electron transfer coefficients (α = 0.5), catalytic rate constant (ks = 9.2 s?1) and diffusion coefficient (D = 8.9 × 10?5 cm2 s?1) were calculated for IP. The response of catalytic current with IP concentration showed a linear relation in the range from 0.5 to 800 µM with a detection limit of 0.21 µM. Finally, this modified electrode was used for the determination of IP in IP injections.  相似文献

A sensitive electrochemical DNA biosensor based on a mixed monolayer structure self-assembled at nanoporous gold (NPG) electrode surface was prepared for Escherichia coli (E. coli) detection. The NPG was fabricated on gold electrode, onto which thiolated oligonucleotides (SH-DNA) and mercaptohexanol (MCH) were covalently linked forming a mixed self-assembled monolayer (SAM). The hybridization between the SH-DNA/MCH modified biosensor and E. coli DNA was monitored with differential pulse voltammetry measurement using methylene blue (MB) as the hybridization indicator. The biosensor can detect 1 × 10?12 M DNA target and 50 cfu/μL E. coli without any nucleic acid amplification steps. The detection limit was lowered to 50 cfu/mL after 5.0 h of incubation.  相似文献

Cerium-doped zirconium oxide (Ce/ZrO2) was introduced as a highly efficient electrocatalyst for electrooxidation of salicylic acid (SA). The electrocatalyst material was synthesized via co-precipitation of cerium and zirconium ions, and then the resulting solid was heat-treated at high temperature to create crystallized cerium-doped zirconium oxide nanoparticles. The obtained material was characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction methods. The Ce/ZrO2-modified carbon paste electrode (Ce/ZrO2-CPE) exhibited a distinct oxidative peak for SA, whereas no signal was observed for SA at unmodified carbon paste electrode at the same experimental conditions. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were applied to investigate the electrocatalytic performance of the electrode and SA electrooxidation mechanism. Square wave voltammetry was used to capture the analytical signal of SA. The electrode composition was optimized to increase the SA signal. Using the optimized electrode, it became possible to determine SA in the concentration range of 5.0–1000.0 μM with detection limit of 1.1 μM (3Sb/m). The electrode showed very high sensitivity of 1013.5 μA mM?1 cm?2 which is remarkably better than the previously reported SA sensors. The proposed method was successfully applied for the determination of SA in human serum, milk, and pharmaceutical samples.  相似文献

In this study, a new procedure for the fabrication of biosensors was developed. The method is based on the covalent attachment of nitrophenyl groups to the electrode surface via diazonium salt reaction followed by their conversion to amine moieties through electrochemical reduction and electrostatic layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly technique. In this procedure, highly stable iron oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticles (IONPs), chitosan (CHIt), GOx, and Nile blue (NB) were assembled on the surface of aminophenyl modified glassy carbon electrode (AP/GCE) by LbL assembly technique. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used to characterize the interfaces. The surface coverage of the active GOx and Michaelis–Menten constant (K M) of the immobilized GOx were Γ?=?3.38?×?10?11 mol cm?2 and 2.54 mM, respectively. The developed biosensor displayed a well-defined amperometric response for glucose determination with high sensitivity (8.07 μA mM?1) and low limit of detection (LOD) of 19.0 μM. The proposed approach allows simple biointerface regeneration by increasing pH which causes disruption of the ionic interactions and release of the electrostatic attached layers. The biosensor can then be reconstructed again using fresh enzyme. Simple preparation, good chemical and mechanical stabilities, and easy surface renewal are remarkable advantages of the proposed biosensor fabrication procedure.  相似文献

Abstract

Nano-MnO2/chitosan composite film modified glassy carbon electrode (MnO2/CHIT/GCE) was fabricated and a DNA probe was immobilized on the electrode surface. The immobilization and hybridization events of DNA were characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The EIS was applied to the label-free detection of the target DNA. The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) gene fragment was successfully detected by this DNA electrochemical sensor. The dynamic detection range was from 2.0 × 10?11 to 2.0 × 10?6 mol/L, with a detection limit of 1.0 × 10?12 mol/L.  相似文献

A poly(thionine) thin film modified electrode was successfully assembled on the surface of the glassy carbon electrode by means of electrochemical polymerization, which was carried out with cyclic voltammetric sweeping in the potential range 0 to +1.4 V (vs. Ag/AgCl) in perchloric acid solution containing 0.1 mmol L?1 thionine. The film modified electrode exhibited a couple of well-defined redox peaks, and the redox peaks decreased correspondingly without a shift of the peak potential after the addition of heparin. The conditions of the binding reaction and the electrochemical detection were optimized. Under the optimum conditions the decrease of the peak current was proportional to the concentration of heparin in the range 4.0 to 22.0 μg mL?1 and the detection limit was 0.28 μg mL?1. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for five parallel determinations of 10.0 μg mL?1 heparin was 0.93%. The effects of potentially interfering species were investigated and the method was successfully applied to the determination of heparin in a pharmaceutical formulation.  相似文献

An inorganic–organic composite material was prepared by the insertion of bis(ethylhexyl)hydrogen phosphate (BEHP) within the interlayer space of a nickel-aluminum–layered double hydroxide (NiAl LDH). X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, and Fourier transform infrared were used to characterize the pristine and modified LDH (NiAl–BEHP), which together confirm the intercalation of BEHP in the mineral structure. Cyclic voltammetry using [Fe(CN)6]3? as an anionic redox probe demonstrated a significant decrease in the anion exchange capacity of NiAl upon modification. Used as electrode modifier for methyl parathion (MP) detection, a remarkable increase in MP signal on NiAlBEHP–modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE/NiAl–BEHP) was observed, because of the high hydrophobicity character of the modified LDH. The signal assigned to the electroactivity of the nitro group being less stable than that of the reduction of the nitroso group, the use of both functions was explored for the calibration experiments. Sensitivities of 0.79 μA μM?1 and 0.14 μA μM?1 were obtained, with detection limits of 2.28 × 10?8 and 12.4 × 10?8 mol L?1 for nitro and nitroso groups, respectively. However, the linearity range was more important for the nitroso group (0.5–12 μM) as compared to the nitro group (0.5–3.5 μM). Moreover, the signal of the nitroso group showed poor interference with some chemical species likely to be encountered in the presence of MP. The GCE/NiAl-BEHP–modified electrode was particularly effective for the differentiation of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) from MP. Interestingly, the decrease in the sensor sensitivity was negligible (0.13 μA μM?1) when the calibration curve of MP was plotted in the presence of 1 μM of 4-NP. The poor efficiency of the sensor to quantify 4-NP was probably because of the high organophilic character of the electrode material. The developed method was successfully applied to quantify MP in spring water.  相似文献

Granular nanowires with a diameter of about 60 nm were fabricated from cuprous oxide (Cu2O) by an electrochemical method using anodic aluminium oxide as the template. A non-enzymatic sensor for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) was then developed on the basis of a gold electrode modified with Cu2O nanowires and Nafion. The resulting sensor enables the determination of H2O2 with a sensitivity of 745 μA?mM?1?cm?2, over a wide linear range (0.25 μM to 5.0 mM), and with a low detection limit (0.12 μM). The results demonstrate that the use of such granular nanowires provides a promising tool for the design of non-enzymatic chemical sensors.

A facile route for producing reduced graphene oxide (RGO)-loaded Au nanoparticles based on ionic liquids (IL) has been proposed, in which the as-prepared RGO can be dispersed stably in water. With the assistance of IL, Au nanoparticles were uniformly and densely absorbed on the surfaces of the IL functionalised reduced graphene oxide (IRGO), forming a new composite of IRGO/Au with high dispersibility. This IRGO/Au composite enhanced its electrochemical signal obviously in the measurement of allura red in foods and exhibited a wider linear response ranging from 0.297 (0.0006 μmol L?1) to 99.3 μg L?1 (0.2 μmol L?1) with lower detection limit of 0.213 μg L?1 (0.00043 μmol L?1) at a signal-to-noise ratio of 3. To further study the practical applicability of the proposed sensor, the modified electrode was successfully applied to detect allura red in five kinds of common foods and the assay results were in a good agreement with the reference values detected by HPLC.  相似文献

Poly(2-amino-5-(4-pyridinyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole) (PAPT) modified glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was fabricated and used for the simultaneous determinations of dopamine (DA), uric acid (UA) and nitrite (NO2 ?) in 0.1 mol?L?1 phosphate buffer solution (PBS, pH 5.0) by using cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) techniques. The results showed that the PAPT modified GCE (PAPT/GCE) not only exhibited electrocatalytic activities towards the oxidation of DA, UA and NO2 ? but also could resolve the overlapped voltammetric signals of DA, UA and NO2 ? at bare GCE into three strong and well-defined oxidation peaks with enhanced current responses. The peak potential separations are 130 mV for DA–UA and 380 mV for UA–NO2 ? using DPV, which are large enough for the simultaneous determinations of DA, UA and NO2 ?. Under the optimal conditions, the anodic peak currents were correspondent linearly to the concentrations of DA, UA and NO2 ? in the ranges of 0.95–380 μmol?L?1, 2.0–1,000 μmol?L?1 and 2.0–1,200 μmol?L?1 for DA, UA and NO2 ?, respectively. The correlation coefficients were 0.9989, 0.9970 and 0.9968, and the detection limits were 0.2, 0.35 and 0.6 μmol?L?1 for DA, UA and NO2 ?, respectively. In 0.1 mol?L?1 PBS pH 5.0, the PAPT film exhibited good electrochemical activity, showing a surface-controlled electrode process with the apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant (k s) of 25.9 s?1 and the charge–transfer coefficient (α) of 0.49, and thus displayed the features of an electrocatalyst. Due to its high sensitivity, good selectivity and stability, the modified electrode had been successfully applied to the determination of analytes in serum and urine samples.  相似文献
