The effect of the turbulence intensity of the oncoming stream on the aerodynamic characteristics of the NACA-0012 airfoil is investigated by a direct numerical simulation. The numerical results are found to be consistent with the experimental measurements. Based on the finite spectral QUICK scheme, the simulation gets the high accuracy results. Both the simulation and the experiment reveal that the airfoil stall does not exist for the low turbulence intensity, however, occurs when the turbulence intensity increases sufficiently. Besides, the turbulence intensity has a significant effect on both the airfoil boundary layer and the separated shear layer.  相似文献

为了得到壁面温度在不同来流速度、不同湍流强度条件下对边界层转捩与减阻的影响规律,本文采用Transitionk-kl-ω模型对低来流速度下无压力梯度的光滑平板进行了数值模拟。结果表明,随着来流速度的升高,壁温升高所起到的减阻效果更好,即高来流速度对壁面温度更为敏感。当来流处于中高湍流强度下时,壁温升高能起到推迟转捩的作用,且随着湍流强度的升高,转捩推迟的效果越好,但减阻效果正好相反;当来流处于低湍流强度下时,壁温升高会使得转捩提前发生。壁温升高抑制了边界层内流体的脉动程度,使得层流的稳态不易被破坏,流动更加稳定;同时,壁温升高使得边界层内流体的速度梯度减小,从而降低了壁面摩擦系数,故壁温升高能起到推迟边界层转捩与减阻的作用。  相似文献

Turbulence control in wall-bounded flows by spanwise oscillations   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
The feasibility of control of wall turbulence by high frequency spanwise oscillations is investigated by direct numerical simulations of a planar turbulent channel flow subjected either to an oscillatory spanwise crossflow or to the spanwise oscillatory motion of one of the channel walls. Periods of oscillation,T osc. + =T osc. u 2 /v, ranging from 25 to 500 were studied. For 25<T osc. + <200 production of turbulence is suppressed. The most effective suppression of turbulence occurs atT osc + =100, for which the overall turbulence production is reduced by 62% compared to the unperturbed channel and sustained turbulent drag reductions of 40% are obtained. The suppression of turbulence is due to a continual shift of the near wall streamwise vortices relative to the wall layer streaks, which in turn leads to a widening, merging and weakening of the wall layer streaks and an overall reduction in the turbulence production. The turbulence suppression mechanism observed in these studies opens up new possibilities for effective control of turbulence in wall-bounded flows.  相似文献

The problem of designing a wing airfoil starting from the surface velocity (or pressure) distribution, given in multi-parameter form, is considered. In the diffuser region, the velocity decrease law is determined from the conditions of minimum drag and separationless flow for a given Reynolds number. The case of boundary layer suction for the purpose of improving the aerodynamic characteristics of the airfoil is studied. A solution is obtained using optimal control theory.  相似文献

In the present paper functionals for the various possible main variational principles in the nonlinear theory of e-lasticity are derived from the "full energy principle" and several of them are not found yet in the literatures available. Transition to turbulence in the boundary layer on a flat plate is investigated numerically for an incompressible fluid flow with a given negative free-stream pressure gradient. The transition is investigated using the three-parameter turbulence model developed by the authors. The calculation results are compared with the available experimental data.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to determine the shape of an oscillating body by minimising drag and lift forces, located in a transient incompressible viscous fluid flow by means of the Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian finite element method and an optimal control theory. A performance function is expressed by the drag and lift forces. The performance function should be minimised satisfying the state equation and the constant volume condition. Therefore, this problem can be transformed into a minimisation problem without constraint by the Lagrange multiplier method. The adjoint equation and the gradient of the performance function are used to update the shape of the body. In this study, as a minimisation technique, the weighted gradient method is applied. The final shape is obtained of which drag and lift forces are reduced by 66.2% and 92.8%, respectively. The final shape obtained by this study is compared with the final shape of the non-oscillating body. The obtained final shape of the oscillating body is significantly different from the non-oscillating body.  相似文献

以S809翼型为研究对象,用CFD数值模拟计算的方法研究了在失速条件下,风力机翼型上下表面同时开缝的被动控制策略对翼型空气动力学特性的影响。采用基于速度耦合的SIMPLEC算法进行数值模拟,将四种常用的湍流模型(Spalart-Allmaras、k-e、k-w、k-w-SST)在12°和24°攻角下的计算结果和实验数据对比,得出了最优于翼型计算的湍流模型为k-w-SST。分析了缝隙位置、宽度和斜率对翼型气动性能的影响。结果表明:当开缝位置位于分离点附近时,翼型气动性能最优;当缝隙宽度为弦长的2%时,翼型气动性能最优;当缝隙和弦线的夹角为75°时,翼型气动性能最优,且在攻角超过24°时开缝对翼型的气动性能有不利影响。  相似文献

The laminar boundary layer behind a constant-speed shock wave moving through a dusty gas along a solid surface is studied. The Saffman lift force acting on a spherical particle in a gas boundary layer is taken into account. A method for calculating the density profile of dispersed phase near the wall is proposed and some numerical results are given. It is shown that behind the shock wave, there exists a curved thin layer where the density of particles is many times higher than the original one. This dust collection effect may be of essential importance to the problem of dust explosion in industry.  相似文献

实验与数值模拟表明,利用电介质溶液中圆柱体侧表面附近分布的电磁场产生电磁力可有效改变圆柱流体边界层,控制圆柱绕流.本文对圆柱绕流电磁控制过程中的主要影响因素进行了实验研究,电磁包覆在圆柱表面后部时,其控制效果与全部包覆相当,而包覆在其它位置时,消涡效果较差;电磁极板窄的圆柱绕流控制效果较极板宽的消涡与减阻效果好.另外,电磁作用参数N愈大,消涡减阻的效果愈好.  相似文献

A variant of the two-parameter turbulence model which makes it possible continuously to calculate a flow region with laminar, transition and turbulent regimes is proposed for investigating the flow under conditions of high freestream turbulence intensity. It is shown that the properties of the thermal transition can be theoretically described using the quasi-steady turbulence model in the case of periodic freestream velocity distribution. The numerical results are compared with theoretical and experimental data. The approach proposed is developed for determining the combined effect of the parameters of harmonic fluctuations of the external velocity and freestream turbulence on the heat transfer characteristics on a flat plate with different boundary conditions for the enthalpy.  相似文献

An effective numerical technique is presented to model turbulent motion of a standing surface wave in a tank. The equations of motion for turbulent boundary layers at the solid surfaces are coupled with the potential flow in the bulk of the fluid, and a mixed BEM–finite difference technique is used to model the wave motion and the corresponding boundary layer flow. A mixing‐length theory is used for turbulence modelling. The model results are in good agreement with previous physical and numerical experiments. 使用雷诺平均NS方程、采用Johnson-King紊流模型、嵌套网格和有限体积法研究大迎角下的多缝道的多段翼型绕流。利用嵌合体技术对组合每一部分生成高质量并适于高效求解的贴体网格;将J-K模型发展应用于计算缝道流动以及具有边界层、尾迹流交汇的复杂流动。以具有17%相对厚度的GAW-1翼型带30%襟翼翼型及一个三段翼型为例进行了计算,计算结果与实验结果吻合很好,证实该方法可以较好地预示多段翼型上的粘性绕流、多缝道流动与最大升力。  相似文献

在研究紊流边界层的过程中,本文考虑了分子粘性对紊流产生的作用、雷诺数以及壁面附近脉动动能的耗散不是各向同性对紊流产生的影响,采用Jones-Launder模型对管内紊流流动边界层厚度、边界层内的脉动动能K,动能耗散ε,管壁切应力τ0以及由此可得的管内流动摩擦阻力系数λ进行了数值计算,计算结果与实验值、理论计算值得具有较好的一致性。  相似文献

A finite element formulation to solve the Ekman potential flow model for wind fields over complex terrain is presented. Appropriate combinations of the boundary conditions on the artificial boundary surfaces are investigated in the formulation. Numerical examples show that the computed wind fields exhibit the typical features of the wind velocity profile in the Ekman boundary layer. The boundary layer over a drag reducing riblet surface is investigated using hot-wire anemometry and flow visualisation. The concept of a riblet sublayer is introduced, and a definition is proposed in terms of a region of reduced turbulence energy production formed near the wall by the addition of riblets. The hot wire records are examined using a modified form of quadrant analysis, and results obtained over plain and riblet surfaces are compared. Close to the wall, the addition of riblets produces a marked reduction in the occurrence of ejection (2nd quadrant) events. A corresponding increase in the incidence of sweep (4th quadrant) events is accompanied by the development of a strong tendency toward a preferred event duration, and a preferred interval between events. These changes diminish rapidly with distance from the surface, becoming almost undetectable beyondy +=40. They are discussed in the light of flow visualisation results, and interpreted in terms of mechanisms associated with the interaction between the riblets and the inner boundary layer flow structures. A conceptual model of the flow mechanisms in the riblet sublayer is proposed.  相似文献
