Leibniz Algebras with Invariant Bilinear Forms and Related Lie Algebras

In ([11 Benayadi, S., Hidri, S. (2014). Quadratic Leibniz algebras. Journal of Lie Theory 24:737–759.[Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]]), we have studied quadratic Leibniz algebras that are Leibniz algebras endowed with symmetric, nondegenerate, and associative (or invariant) bilinear forms. The nonanticommutativity of the Leibniz product gives rise to other types of invariance for a bilinear form defined on a Leibniz algebra: the left invariance, the right invariance. In this article, we study the structure of Leibniz algebras endowed with nondegenerate, symmetric, and left (resp. right) invariant bilinear forms. In particular, the existence of such a bilinear form on a Leibniz algebra 𝔏 gives rise to a new algebra structure ☆ on the underlying vector space 𝔏. In this article, we study this new algebra, and we give information on the structure of this type of algebras by using some extensions introduced in [11 Benayadi, S., Hidri, S. (2014). In this paper, the authors define the center of a Symplectic ternary algebra, and investigate the relationship between the center of a Symplectic ternary algebra and that of the Lie triple system associated with it. As an application of the relationship, the unique decomposition theorem for Symplectic ternary algebras with trivial center is obtained.     

Construction of Symmetric and Symplectic Bilinear Forms

Let V be a finite-dimensional vector-space. A linear mapping on V is called simple if V( - 1) is 1-dimensional. Let S be a set of simple bijections on V. We discuss conditions entraining that each element of S is orthogonal (respectively symplectic) under an appropriate symmetric (respectively symplectic) bilinear form on V.     

On Enveloping Lie Algebras of Hyporeductive Triple Algebras

The notion of a hypoderivation of binary-ternary algebras is introduced. A hypoderivation is a generalization both of a derivation and a pseudoderivation of such algebras. From the external direct sum of a hyporeductive triple algebra (h.t.a.) with the vector space of pairs constituted by hypoderivations and their companions, a Lie algebra with a hyporeductive decomposition (and accordingly a hyporeductive pair) enveloping the given h.t.a. is constructed. A nontrivial 3-dimensional Lie algebra with hyporeductive decomposition is presented. Examples of h.t.a. are also given.     

Symplectic meanders

Analogous to the 𝔰𝔩(n) case, we address the computation of the index of seaweed subalgebras of 𝔰𝔭(2n) by introducing graphical representations called symplectic meanders. Formulas for the algebra’s index may be computed by counting the connected components of its associated meander. In certain cases, formulas for the index can be given in terms of elementary functions.

研究了3-李代数和度量3-李代数的辛结构.对任意3-李代数L,构造了无限多个度量辛3-李代数.证明了度量3-李代数(A,B)是度量辛3-李代数的充要条件,即存在可逆导子D,使得D∈Der_B(A).同时证明了每一个度量辛3-李代数(A,B,ω)是度量辛3-李代数(A,B,ω)的T_θ~*-扩张.最后,利用度量辛3-李代数经过特殊导子的双扩张得到了新的度量辛3-李代数.

Some forms of Lie algebras of types E ₆, E ₇, and E ₈ are constructed using the exterior cube of a rank 9 finitely generated projective module.
