In this Note, we present a method for testing self-similarity of discretized observations of a Gaussian process with stationary increments. The test is based on the estimation of a distance between the process and a set of processes containing all the fractional Brownian motions. This distance is constructed from two estimations of multiscale generalized quadratic variations expectations. The second estimation requires to estimate by regression the self-similarity index H. Both these estimators of H present good robustness and computing time properties compared with maximum likelihood approach, with nearly similar convergence rate.  相似文献

Nous montrons que pour toute sous-variété algébrique d'un tore multiplicatif (non contenue dans un sous-groupe algébrique propre), on peut choisir un ensemble Zariski dense de points algébriques de hauteur contrôlée, dont toutes les coordonnées sont multiplicativement indépendantes. Cet énoncé précise et généralise un théorème de S. Zhang qui lie la hauteur projective d'une varété au minimum essentiel de la hauteur des points algébriques de celle-ci. En tenant compte d'un résultat précédent des auteurs sur le problème de Lehmer généralisé à un tore, nous en déduisons une minoration pour la hauteur normalisée d'une sous-variété d'un tore. Cette dernière est optimale à un «-prés» en le degré géométrique de la variété étudiée (confer une conjecture du second auteur avec P. Philippon).In this article, we prove that on any subvariety of a multiplicative torus which is not contained in a proper algebraic subgroup, one can find a Zariski dense set of algebraic points of small height whose coordinates are multiplicatively independent. This statement generalizes an earlier result of S. Zhang which links the projective height of a variety with the essential minimum of its algebraic points. Taking into account an earlier result of the authors on the Lehmer problem generalized to a multiplicative torus, one deduces a lower bound for the normalized height of subvarieties of multiplicative groups. This lower bound is optimal up to an in the geometric degree of the variety studied (confer a conjecture by the second author and P. Philippon).  相似文献

On s’intéresse au groupe de Brauer d’une compactification lisse d’un espace homogène d’un groupe semi-simple simplement connexe à stabilisateurs finis, sur un corps de nombres. On montre une formule décrivant ce groupe de Brauer et on calcule explicitement celui-ci pour certaines familles d’exemples. On établit des liens entre l’obstruction de Brauer–Manin à l’approximation faible sur cet espace homogène et la cohomologie galoisienne du stabilisateur.  相似文献

In this Note we study the Schrödinger equation i?tuu+V0u+V1u=0 on R3×(0,T) with initial condition u0∈{v∈H2(R3), R3(1+|x|2)2|v|2dx<+∞} where V0 is a coulombian potential, singular at finite distance and V1 is an electric potential, possibly unbounded. Both of them may depend on space and time variables. We prove that this problem is well-posed and that the regularity of the initial data is conserved for the solution. Let be an algebraic closure of K and Knr its maximal unramified subextension. Let E be an elliptic curve over K with an integral modular invariant. The curve E has potentially good reduction at v, and there exists a smallest extension L of Knr over which E has good reduction at v. The Galois group, Gal (L/Knr) is known in the case p≥5. We study here the 3-dimensional Vlasov-Poisson equation of stellar dynamics. It is well known that this equation has weak solutions for every bounded initial density with finite kinetic energy. In [6], Lions and Perthame prove a uniqueness result under a Lipschitz continuity assumption on the initial datum. Using the moment estimates of [6], we can easily see that if the initial datum is compactly supported, the solution will remain compactly supported for ever. We prove here the uniqueness of the compactly supported weak solution. Our proof is an adaptation of that of Youdovitch (see [8]) for the 2-dimensional Euler equation.  相似文献

Summary We give a complete characterization of the operator-valued processes which are integrable, in the sense of [6], with respect to a fixed Hilbertvalued square integrable martingale M. This characterisation allows to complete the theory of stochastic integration with respect to Hilbert-valued martingales. In particular, we give a construction of the process M, N (predictable compensator of MN), as well as a Hilbert-valued version of the Kunita-Watanabe inequality. Finally, we deal with the distributivity of the stochastic integral X·M with respect to the martingale M: this property can be usefully applied to obtain a simple proof of a representation theorem of Gal'tchouk-Métivier.The results of this article have been announced in Comptes Rendus Note [1].  相似文献

Résumé Nous présentons une numérotation de type Nested Dissection des inconnues d'un système linéaireAX=B pour des ensembles de matricescreuses symétriques définies positives correspondant à des famille de graphes non orientés,à degré borné, et admettant un -thérème de séparation. Comparativement aux méthodes et résultats de Rose [9], l'algorithme présenté est plus simple, mais les théorèmes de complexité moins généraux, en raison de l'hypothèse restrictive de degré borné. En outre, les démonstrations font appel en permanence à la structure d'arbre sur la famille des séparateurs qui constitue, par ailleurs, une partition de l'ensemble des sommets du graphe initial. Nous présentons ensuite le schéma général d'implémentation dans le cadre du code d'éléments finis MODULEF pourdes problèmes plans d'éléments finis, et nous donnons quelques mesures comparatives avec la numérotation plus classique qui tend à minimiser le profil de la matrice.
Complexity bounds for a nested dissection method
Summary A nested dissection ordering is given for solving any system of linear equationsAX=B, for the family ofsparse symmetric positive definite matrices corresponding to the class of undirected graphs withbounded degree, and satisfyinga -separator theorem. If we compare the methods and results presented by Rose [9], our algorithm is more simple, but the complexity results are less general because of the restriction of bounded degree. Besides, our proofs use continually the arborescent structure on the family of separators, which is, by another way, a partition of the set of vertices for the initial graph. Then, the general implementation scheme in the finite element package MODULEF, fortwo-dimensional finite element problems, is presented, and numerical comparisons between our ordering and the standard envelope method are given.

We study a three-dimensional model for the skin effect in electromagnetism. We first give a multiscale asymptotic expansion for the solution of the harmonic Maxwell equations set on a domain made of two materials, dielectric and highly conducting, with a regular interface between them. To measure the skin effect, we introduce a suitable skin depth function defined on the interface and generalizing the classical scalar quantity. We then prove an asymptotic expansion at high conductivity for this function, which exhibits the influence of the geometry of the interface on the skin depth.  相似文献
