Computing influential nodes gets a lot of attention from many researchers for information spreading in complex networks. It has vast applications, such as viral marketing, social leader creation, rumor control, and opinion monitoring. The information-spreading ability of influential nodes is greater compared with other nodes in the network. Several researchers proposed centrality measures to compute the influential nodes in a complex network, such as degree, betweenness, closeness, semi-local centralities, and PageRank. These centrality methods are defined based on the local and/or global information of nodes in the network. However, due to their high time complexity, centrality measures based on the global information of nodes have become unsuitable for large-scale networks. Very few centrality measures exist that are based on the attributes between nodes and the structure of the network. We propose the nearest neighborhood trust PageRank (NTPR) based on the structural attributes of neighbors and nearest neighbors of nodes. We define the measure based on the degree ratio, the similarity between nodes, the trust values of neighbors, and the nearest neighbors. We computed the influential nodes in various real-world networks using the proposed centrality method. We found the maximum influence by using influential nodes with SIR and independent cascade methods. We also compare the maximum influence of our centrality measure with the existing basic centrality measures.  相似文献

We propose the PageRank model of opinion formation and investigate its rich properties on real directed networks of the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, LiveJournal, and Twitter. In this model, the opinion formation of linked electors is weighted with their PageRank probability. Such a probability is used by the Google search engine for ranking of web pages. We find that the society elite, corresponding to the top PageRank nodes, can impose its opinion on a significant fraction of the society. However, for a homogeneous distribution of two opinions, there exists a bistability range of opinions which depends on a conformist parameter characterizing the opinion formation. We find that the LiveJournal and Twitter networks have a stronger tendency to a totalitarian opinion formation than the university networks. We also analyze the Sznajd model generalized for scale-free networks with the weighted PageRank vote of electors.  相似文献

Most existing methods for detection of community overlap cannot balance efficiency and accuracy for large and densely overlapping networks. To quickly identify overlapping communities for such networks, we propose a new method that uses belief propagation and conflict (PCB) to occupy communities. We first identify triangles with maximal clustering coefficients as seed nodes and sow a new type of belief to the seed nodes. Then the beliefs explore their territory by occupying nodes with high assent ability. The beliefs propagate their strength along the graph to consolidate their territory, and conflict with each other when they encounter the same node simultaneously. Finally, the node membership is judged from the belief vectors. The PCB time complexity is nearly linear and its space complexity is linear. The algorithm was tested in extensive experiments on three real-world social networks and three computer-generated artificial graphs. The experimental results show that PCB is very fast and highly reliable. Tests on real and artificial networks give excellent results compared with three newly proposed overlapping community detection algorithms.  相似文献

复杂网络中的结构洞节点对于信息传播具有重要作用, 现有关键节点排序方法多数没有兼顾结构洞节点和其他类型的关键节点进行排序. 本文根据结构洞理论与关键节点排序相关研究选取了网络约束系数、介数中心性、等级度、效率、网络规模、PageRank值以及聚类系数7个度量指标, 将基于ListNet的排序学习方法引入到复杂网络的关键节点排序问题中, 融合7个度量指标, 构建了一个能够综合评价面向结构洞节点的关键节点排序方法. 采用模拟网络和实际复杂网络进行了大量实验, 人工标准试验结果表明本文排序方法能够综合考虑结构洞节点和核心节点, 关键节点排序与人工排序结果具有较高的一致性. SIR传播模型评估实验结果表明由本文选择TOP-K节点发起的传播能够在较短的传播时间内达到最大的传播范围.  相似文献

We use the methods of quantum chaos and Random Matrix Theory for analysis of statistical fluctuations of PageRank probabilities in directed networks. In this approach the effective energy levels are given by a logarithm of PageRank probability at a given node. After the standard energy level unfolding procedure we establish that the nearest spacing distribution of PageRank probabilities is described by the Poisson law typical for integrable quantum systems. Our studies are done for the Twitter network and three networks of Wikipedia editions in English, French and German. We argue that due to absence of level repulsion the PageRank order of nearby nodes can be easily interchanged. The obtained Poisson law implies that the nearby PageRank probabilities fluctuate as random independent variables.  相似文献

Community structure has been found to exist ubiquitously in many different kinds of real world complex networks. Most of the previous literature ignores edge directions and applies methods designed for community finding in undirected networks to find communities. Here, we address the problem of finding communities in directed networks. Our proposed method uses PageRank random walk induced network embedding to transform a directed network into an undirected one, where the information on edge directions is effectively incorporated into the edge weights. Starting from this new undirected weighted network, previously developed methods for undirected network community finding can be used without any modification. Moreover, our method improves on recent work in terms of community definition and meaning. We provide two simulated examples, a real social network and different sets of power law benchmark networks, to illustrate how our method can correctly detect communities in directed networks.  相似文献

Detecting local communities in real-world graphs such as large social networks, web graphs, and biological networks has received a great deal of attention because obtaining complete information from a large network is still difficult and unrealistic nowadays. In this paper, we define the term local degree central node whose degree is greater than or equal to the degree of its neighbor nodes. A new method based on the local degree central node to detect the local community is proposed. In our method, the local community is not discovered from the given starting node, but from the local degree central node that is associated with the given starting node. Experiments show that the local central nodes are key nodes of communities in complex networks and the local communities detected by our method have high accuracy. Our algorithm can discover local communities accurately for more nodes and is an effective method to explore community structures of large networks.  相似文献

We study the properties of eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the Google matrix of the Wikipedia articles hyperlink network and other real networks. With the help of the Arnoldi method, we analyze the distribution of eigenvalues in the complex plane and show that eigenstates with significant eigenvalue modulus are located on well defined network communities. We also show that the correlator between PageRank and CheiRank vectors distinguishes different organizations of information flow on BBC and Le Monde web sites.  相似文献

Detecting overlapping communities is a challenging task in analyzing networks, where nodes may belong to more than one community. Many present methods optimize quality functions to extract the communities from a network. In this paper, we present a probabilistic method for detecting overlapping communities using a generative model. The model describes the probability of generating a network with the model parameters, which reflect the communities in the network. The community memberships of each node are determined based on a probabilistic approach using those model parameters, whose values can be obtained by fitting the model to the network. This method has the advantage that the node participation degrees in each community are also computed. The proposed method is compared with some other community detection methods on both synthetic networks and real-world networks. The experiments show that this method is efficient at detecting overlapping communities and can provide better performance on the networks where a majority of nodes belong to more than one community.  相似文献

结合电网拓扑结构和潮流追踪技术,提出一种基于子网划分的电网关键节点识别方法。首先,根据发电机节点的邻域信息和功率将发电机节点划分为不同的子集,然后根据电网的系数分配矩阵将负荷节点划分到为其提供最大功率的发电机节点子集中,完成子网划分。接着采用多属性决策法对每个子网的节点进行排序,进一步改进并计算每个子网的结构系数,作为衡量子网重要性的指标。根据子网重要性,从每个子网中提取特定比例的候选关键节点,对这些候选节点依据多属性决策法重新排序,得到关键节点的最终排序。以IEEE14、IEEE57和IEEE118三种节点系统为例进行分析,得到各个系统的子网划分结果和各个标准网络的重要节点排序结果。采用本文方法、PageRank法和多属性决策法分别进行关键节点排序,并对排序靠前的关键节点进行级联故障性能实验和网络效能实验。实验表明,本文算法选择的关键节点对整个网络的传播性能影响最大,优于其他两种关键节点识别方法。  相似文献

We analyze the game of go from the point of view of complex networks. We construct three different directed networks of increasing complexity, defining nodes as local patterns on plaquettes of increasing sizes, and links as actual successions of these patterns in databases of real games. We discuss the peculiarities of these networks compared to other types of networks. We explore the ranking vectors and community structure of the networks and show that this approach enables to extract groups of moves with common strategic properties. We also investigate different networks built from games with players of different levels or from different phases of the game. We discuss how the study of the community structure of these networks may help to improve the computer simulations of the game. More generally, we believe such studies may help to improve the understanding of human decision process.  相似文献

In this paper,we propose a local fuzzy method based on the idea of "p-strong" community to detect the disjoint and overlapping communities in networks.In the method,a refined agglomeration rule is designed for agglomerating nodes into local communities,and the overlapping nodes are detected based on the idea of making each community strong.We propose a contribution coefficient b_v~(ci)to measure the contribution of an overlapping node to each of its belonging communities,and the fuzzy coefficients of the overlapping node can be obtained by normalizing the b_v~(ci) to all its belonging communities.The running time of our method is analyzed and varies linearly with network size.We investigate our method on the computergenerated networks and real networks.The testing results indicate that the accuracy of our method in detecting disjoint communities is higher than those of the existing local methods and our method is efficient for detecting the overlapping nodes with fuzzy coefficients.Furthermore,the local optimizing scheme used in our method allows us to partly solve the resolution problem of the global modularity.  相似文献

We introduce a thermal flux-diffusing model for complex networks. Based on this model, we propose a physical method to detect the communities in the complex networks. The method allows us to obtain the temperature distribution of nodes in time that scales linearly with the network size. Then, the local community enclosing a given node can be easily detected for the reason that the dense connections in the local communities lead to the temperatures of nodes in the same community being close to each other. The community structure of a network can be recursively detected by randomly choosing the nodes outside the detected local communities. In the experiments, we apply our method to a set of benchmarking networks with known pre-determined community structures. The experiment results show that our method has higher accuracy and precision than most existing globe methods and is better than the other existing local methods in the selection of the initial node. The detection of overlapping community structure in networks can give insight into the structures and functions of many complex systems. In this paper, we propose a simple but efficient overlapping community detection method for very large real-world networks. Taking a high-quality, non-overlapping partition generated by existing, efficient, non-overlapping community detection methods as input, our method identifies overlapping nodes between each pair of connected non-overlapping communities in turn. Through our analysis on modularity, we deduce that, to become an overlapping node without demolishing modularity, nodes should satisfy a specific condition presented in this paper. The proposed algorithm outputs high quality overlapping communities by efficiently identifying overlapping nodes that satisfy the above condition. Experiments on synthetic and real-world networks show that in most cases our method is better than other algorithms either in the quality of results or the computational performance. In some cases, our method is the only one that can produce overlapping communities in the very large real-world networks used in the experiments.  相似文献

发现复杂网络中的社团结构在社会网络、生物组织网络和在线网络等复杂网络中具备十分重要的意义. 针对社交媒体网络的社团检测通常需要利用两种信息源: 网络拓扑结构特征和节点属性特征, 丰富的节点内容属性信息为社团检测的增加了灵活性和挑战. 传统方法是要么仅针对这两者信息之一进行单独挖掘, 或者将两者信息得到的社团结果进行线性叠加判决, 不能有效进行信息源的融合. 本文将节点的多维属性特征作为社团划分的一种有效协同学习项进行研究, 将两者信息源进行融合分析, 提出了一种基于联合矩阵分解的节点多属性网络社团检测算法CDJMF, 提高了社团检测的有效性和鲁棒性. 实验表明, 本文所提的方法能够有效利用节点的属性信息指导社团检测, 具备更高的社团划分质量.  相似文献

We consider a PageRank model of opinion formation on Ulam networks, generated by the intermittency map and the typical Chirikov map. The Ulam networks generated by these maps have certain similarities with such scale-free networks as the World Wide Web (WWW), showing an algebraic decay of the PageRank probability. We find that the opinion formation process on Ulam networks has certain similarities but also distinct features comparing to the WWW. We attribute these distinctions to internal differences in network structure of the Ulam and WWW networks. We also analyze the process of opinion formation in the frame of generalized Sznajd model which protects opinion of small communities.  相似文献

The detection of the community structure in networks is beneficial to understand the network structure and to analyze the network properties. Based on node similarity, a fast and efficient method for detecting community structure is proposed, which discovers the community structure by iteratively incorporating the community containing a node with the communities that contain the nodes with maximum similarity to this node to form a new community. The presented method has low computational complexity because of requiring only the local information of the network, and it does not need any prior knowledge about the communities and its detection results are robust on the selection of the initial node. Some real-world and computer-generated networks are used to evaluate the performance of the presented method. The simulation results demonstrate that this method is efficient to detect community structure in complex networks, and the ZLZ metrics used in the proposed method is the most suitable one among local indices in community detection.  相似文献

In the domain of network science, the future link between nodes is a significant problem in social network analysis. Recently, temporal network link prediction has attracted many researchers due to its valuable real-world applications. However, the methods based on network structure similarity are generally limited to static networks, and the methods based on deep neural networks often have high computational costs. This paper fully mines the network structure information and time-domain attenuation information, and proposes a novel temporal link prediction method. Firstly, the network collective influence (CI) method is used to calculate the weights of nodes and edges. Then, the graph is divided into several community subgraphs by removing the weak link. Moreover, the biased random walk method is proposed, and the embedded representation vector is obtained by the modified Skip-gram model. Finally, this paper proposes a novel temporal link prediction method named TLP-CCC, which integrates collective influence, the community walk features, and the centrality features. Experimental results on nine real dynamic network data sets show that the proposed method performs better for area under curve (AUC) evaluation compared with the classical link prediction methods.  相似文献

This paper investigates the cluster-modified function projective synchronisation (CMFPS) of a generalised linearly coupled network with asymmetric coupling and nonidentical dynamical nodes. A novel synchronisation scheme is proposed to achieve CMFPS in community networks. We use adaptive control method to derive CMFPS criteria based on Lyapunov stability theory. Each cluster of networks is synchronised with target system by state transformation with scaling function matrix. Numerical simulation results are presented finally to illustrate the effectiveness of this method.  相似文献

We investigate a new cluster projective synchronization(CPS) scheme in time-varying delay coupled complex dynamical networks with nonidentical nodes.Based on the community structure of the networks,the controllers are designed differently for the nodes in one community,which have direct connections to the nodes in the other communities and the nodes without direct connections to the nodes in the other communities.Some sufficient criteria are derived to ensure the nodes in the same group projectively synchronize and there is also projective synchronization between nodes in different groups.Particularly,the weight configuration matrix is not assumed to be symmetric or irreducible.The numerical simulations are performed to verify the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献
