将正螺面引入到一般的空间型中,在Beltrami-Klein坐标系下统一加以表示,并一致地详尽考察其度量、法向、第二基本形式及主曲率,推出正螺面是极小曲面.     

正螺面上的圆柱螺线

本文主要证明了正螺面上与其同轴方向的一般螺线必为圆柱螺线,确定了正螺面上所有圆柱螺线的参数表示．此外,通过示例说明了正螺面与圆柱面交线为圆柱螺线的条件．     

正二十面体、正十二面体研究的历史演进

通过论述柏拉图(Plato,B.C.427-B.C.347)、欧几里得(Euclid,约B.C.330-B.C.275)、帕波斯(Pappus,约300-350)、帕赛利(L.Pacioli,约1445-1517)、梅文鼎(1633-1721)作正二十面体、正十二面体的作图法,指出梅氏作法最为简洁,已蕴含证明,胜于上世纪苏联别列标尔金(Д.И.Перепелкин)方法,为历来最优美解.

Special Points on the Product of Two Modular Curves

We prove, assuming the generalized Riemann hypothesis for imaginary quadratic fields, the following special case of a conjecture of Oort, concerning Zarsiski closures of sets of CM points in Shimura varieties. Let X be an irreducible algebraic curve in C², containing infinitely many points of which both coordinates are j-invariants of CM elliptic curves. Suppose that both projections from X to C are not constant. Then there is an integer m 1such that X is the image, under the usual map, of the modular curve Y₂0(m). The proof uses some number theory and some topological arguments.

We study the maximal term of the Hadamard composition of Dirichlet series with real exponents. We obtain a lower estimate for the sum of a Dirichlet series over a curve arbitrarily approaching the convergence line.     

Enumerating Rational Curves: The Rational Fibration Method

A new method to approach enumerative questions about rational curves on algebraic varieties is described. The idea is to reduce the counting problems to computations on the Néron-Severi group of a ruled surface. Applications include a short proof of Kontsevich's formula for plane curves and the solution of the analogous problem for the Hirzebruch surface F₃.     

Some special surfaces in the pseudo-Galilean space

We describe some special surfaces in pseudo-Galilean spaces such as helical surfaces, ruled screw surfaces, surfaces of revolution and in particular tori of revolution. We define special surfaces and find their main properties.
