Eulerian quasisymmetric functions were introduced by Shareshian and Wachs in order to obtain a q-analog of Euler?s exponential generating function formula for the Eulerian numbers (Shareshian and Wachs, 2010 [17]). They are defined via the symmetric group, and applying the stable and nonstable principal specializations yields formulas for joint distributions of permutation statistics. We consider the wreath product of the cyclic group with the symmetric group, also known as the group of colored permutations. We use this group to introduce colored Eulerian quasisymmetric functions, which are a generalization of Eulerian quasisymmetric functions. We derive a formula for the generating function of these colored Eulerian quasisymmetric functions, which reduces to a formula of Shareshian and Wachs for the Eulerian quasisymmetric functions. We show that applying the stable and nonstable principal specializations yields formulas for joint distributions of colored permutation statistics, which generalize the Shareshian–Wachs q-analog of Euler?s formula, formulas of Foata and Han, and a formula of Chow and Gessel. 相似文献

It is an open conjecture that generalized Bessel functions associated with root systems have a positive product formula for nonnegative multiplicity parameters of the associated Dunkl operators. In this paper, a partial result towards this conjecture is proven, namely a positive radial product formula for the non-symmetric counterpart of the generalized Bessel function, the Dunkl kernel. Radial here means that one of the factors in the product formula is replaced by its mean over a sphere. The key to this product formula is a positivity result for the Dunkl-type spherical mean operator. It can also be interpreted in the sense that the Dunkl-type generalized translation of radial functions is positivity-preserving. As an application, we construct Dunkl-type homogeneous Markov processes associated with radial probability distributions.

The heat kernel transform Ht is studied for the Heisenberg group in detail. The main result shows that the image of Ht is a direct sum of two weighted Bergman spaces, in contrast to the classical case of Rn and compact symmetric spaces, and the weight functions are found to be (surprisingly) not non-negative. 相似文献

We study the existence of “Lp-type” gradient estimates for the heat kernel of the natural hypoelliptic “Laplacian” on the real three-dimensional Heisenberg Lie group. Using Malliavin calculus methods, we verify that these estimates hold in the case p>1. The gradient estimate for p=2 implies a corresponding Poincaré inequality for the heat kernel. The gradient estimate for p=1 is still open; if proved, this estimate would imply a logarithmic Sobolev inequality for the heat kernel. 相似文献

In analogy to the classical Schwartz kernel theorem, we show that a large class of linear mappings admits integral kernels in the framework of Colombeau generalized functions. To do this, we introduce new spaces of generalized functions with slow growth and the corresponding adapted linear mappings. We study the structure of the product of an Abelian group and a nilpotent group. Conditions for the existence of a normal subgroup in one of the factors are given. These conditions generalize the known results on the product of two Abelian groups. We investigate a relation between the Brownian motion on the unitary group and the most natural random walk on the symmetric group, based on Schur-Weyl duality. We use this relation to establish a convergent power series expansion for the expectation of a product of traces of powers of a random unitary matrix under the heat kernel measure. This expectation turns out to be the generating series of certain paths in the Cayley graph of the symmetric group. Using our expansion, we recover asymptotic results of Xu, Biane and Voiculescu.
