In this study, we synthesized Tb/Tourmaline/TiO2 nano tubes (NTs) through a solgel-hydrothermal method. The as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Raman spectromicroscope, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. The resulting Tb/Tourmaline/TiO2 NTs exhibited higher photocatalytic activity than pure TiO2 and TiO2 nano particles (NPs) in the degradation of menthyl orange under UV-light. Results revealed that doping rare earth element Tb could narrow the wide band gap of TiO2 and tourmaline could trap the photogenerated electron of TiO2 to inhibit the recombination of photogenerated electron-hole pairs.  相似文献

The electronic properties of molecular junctions of the general type carbon/molecule/TiO2Au were examined as examples of "molecular heterojunctions" consisting of a molecular monolayer and a semiconducting oxide. Junctions containing fluorene bonded to pyrolyzed photoresist film (PPF) were compared to those containing Al2O3 instead of fluorene, and those with only the TiO2 layer. The responses to voltage sweep and pulse stimulation were strongly dependent on junction composition and temperature. A transient current response lasting a few milliseconds results from injection and trapping of electrons in the TiO2 layer, and occurred in all three junction types studied. Conduction in PPFTiO2Au junctions is consistent with space charge limited conduction at low voltage, then a sharp increase in current once the space charge fills all the traps. With fluorene present, there is a slower, persistent change in junction conductance which may be removed by a reverse polarity pulse. This "memory" effect is attributed to a redox process in the TiO2 which generates TiIII and/or TiII, which have much higher conductance than TiO2 due to the presence of conduction band electrons. The redox process amounts to "dynamic doping" of the TiO2 layer by the imposed electric field. The memory effect arises from a combination of the properties of the molecular and oxide layers, and is a special property of the molecular heterojunction configuration.  相似文献

The photolysis of water vapor on the surface of titanium coated polycrystalline n-TiO2 at a temperature of 380°C is reported. A quantum conversion efficiency for hydrogen production of 2% is measured for excitation above the band gap of TiO2. The experiments demonstrate the catalytic nature of the reaction with respect to the active material and also suggest an important role played by the titanium metal in the observations.  相似文献

The phase stability of the two TiO2 modifications (anatase and rutile) in fumed SiO2/TiO2 nano-composites (0–24.8 wt-% silica) under thermal and hydrothermal conditions was investigated by X-ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and gas adsorption methods (BET). The results show that the phase transformation from anatase to rutile type of structure and the growth of anatase crystallites are significantly retarded by mixing small amounts of SiO2 into TiO2, while the specific surface area is maintained. The SiO2/TiO2-composites reveal a remarkable shift in the anatase to rutile transformation temperature from approx. 500 °C (pure TiO2) to approx. 1000 °C (samples with SiO2 contents of more than 10%). The rate of phase transformation from anatase to rutile is enhanced under hydrothermal conditions compared to conventional thermal treatment, e.g. pure titania (AEROXIDE® TiO2 P25) annealed under hydrothermal conditions (100 g/m3 absolute humidity, 4 h at 600 °C) had a rutile content of 85%, while the same specimens annealed in absence of humidity contained only 46% rutile. However, the difference in rate of phase transformation became less pronounced when the silica content in SiO2/TiO2-composites was further increased.TEM results showed that the surface of the anatase crystallites was covered with silica. This averts coalescence of anatase crystallites and keeps them under a critical size during the annealing process. When the crystal domains grew larger, a rapid conversion to rutile took place. The critical size of anatase crystallites for the phase transformation was estimated to be 15–20 nm.  相似文献

Three TiO2 loaded composites, TiO2/kaolin, TiO2/diatomite, and TiO2/zeolite, were prepared in order to improve the solar-light photocatalytic activity of TiO2. The results showed that the photocatalytic activity could obviously be enhanced by loading appropriate amount of inorganic mineral materials. Meanwhile, TiO2 content, heat-treatment temperature and heat-treatment time on the photocatalytic activity were reviewed. Otherwise, the effect of solar light irradiation time and dye concentration on the photocatalytic degradation of Acid Red B was investigated. Furthermore, the degradation mechanism and adsorption process were also discussed.  相似文献

Thermal analysis (TG and DTA) was employed for the characterization of V2O5/TiO2 catalysts supported on high surface area TiO2. The results obtained are consistent with a uniform spreading of vanadium oxide on TiO2 surface for V2O5 content less than 15% by weight.The presence of V2O5 on the surface of TiO2 affects the anatase-rutile phase transition lowering the temperature at which it occurs.DTA measurements, performed on catalysts after many months from the preparation, show the appearance of an exothermic peak in the range 280°–340°C. This signal has been related to the oxidation of V(IV) to V(V) on the catalyst surface.Catalysts characterization, performed by chemical analysis and FT-IR spectroscopy, has confirmed this interpretation.It has been suggested that a slow modification of the catalyst occurs, leading to an increase of the V(IV) content during the time.
Zusammenfassung Zur Charakterisierung von V2O5/TiO2-Katalysatoren auf hochoberflächigem TiO2 Trägermaterial wurde die Thermoanalyse (TG und DTA) angewendet. Für einen V2O5-Gehalt von weniger als 15 Gew.% entsprechen die erhaltenen Ergebnisse einer gleichmäßigen Verteilung des Vanadiumoxides an der TiO2-Oberfläche.Die Gegenwart von V2O5 an der Oberfläche von TiO2 beeinflußt die Anatas-Rutil-Phasenumwandlung, indem sie die zugehörige Temperatur verringert.DTA-Messungen an Katalysatoren mehrere Monate nach ihrer Herstellung zeigten das Auftreten eines exothermen Peaks im Bereich 280°–340°C. Dieses Signal wurde der Oxidation von V(IV) zu V(V) an der Katalysatoroberfläche zugeschrieben.Diese Interpretation konnte durch eine Charakterisierung des Katalysatoren durch chemische Analyse und FT-IR-Spektroskopie bestätigt werden.Es wurde angedeutet, daß der Katalysator mit der Zeit einer langsamen Modifikation unterliegt, die zu einem Ansteigen des V(IV)-Gehaltes führt.

Two novel heterotrimetallic octa-[Cu2CoPbCl4(L)4]2 (1) and pentanuclear [Cu2CoCd2Cl6(L)4(HOMe)2] (2) complexes have been prepared in one-pot reactions of zerovalent copper with metal chlorides in a methanol (for 1) or acetonitrile (for 2) solution of 2-(dimethylamino)ethanol (HL) in open air. The crystal structures of both compounds consist of discrete centrosymmetric heterotrimetallic molecules revealing triangular (1) and unique consecutive (2) arrangements of magnetic CuII(2)CoII cores. The complex 1 can be viewed as a dimer made up of tetranuclear Cu2CoPbCl4(L)4 units linked through the two micro(2)-Cl atoms. The molecular structure of 2 is a pentanuclear assembly containing the previously unknown Cu(micro-O)(2)Co(micro-O)(2)Cu core. The magnetic studies of 1 revealed an antiferromagnetic coupling (J(CoCu) = 37 cm(-1) and J(CuCu) = 87 cm(-1)) while 2 exhibits a weak ferromagnetic behavior (J(CoCu) = -3.2 cm(-1) and J(CuCu) = -14.2 cm(-1)). The correlations between magnetic behaviour and structures as well as synthetic features are also discussed.  相似文献

The improved thermal association of heat transfer is considerably observed due to interaction of nanoparticles in recent days. The lubrication phenomenon with heat and mass transfer effects plays a key role in the hydraulic systems. In current research, the thermal impact of nanofluid over a lubricated stretching surfaces near a stagnation point analytical has been studied. A thin layer of lubricating fluid with a variable thickness provides lubrication. The inspection of thermophoresis and Brownian motion phenomenon is illustrated via Boungrino model. The analytical finding of refurbished boundary layer ordinary differential equations is obtained by a reliable and proficient technique namely variational iteration method (VIM). The Lagrange Multiplier is a potent tool in proposed technique to reduce the computational work. In addition, a numerical comparison is presented to show the effectiveness of this study. The range of flow parameters is based on theoretical flow assumptions. Physical inspection of involved parameters on velocities, temperatures, concentrations, and other quantities of interest when lubrication is presented. The current results present applications in polymer process, manufacturing systems, heat transfer and hydraulic systems.  相似文献

以正硅酸乙酯为前驱体,采用无溶剂水解技术,制备出了均一、稳定、透明的二氧化硅溶胶,通过透射电镜分析,粒径在100nm左右;在溶胶中加入甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)和偶氮二异丁腈(AIBN),采用热固化的方式制备出透明的块体PMMA/SiO2杂化材料,通过差热分析、热重和透射电镜表征杂化材料的热性能和微观结构,实验结果表明:当体系中的SiO2含量超过20%时,杂化材料无明显的玻璃化转变温度;无机相均匀分散在有机相中,两相之间没有明显的相分离现象,制备出均一的杂化材料。  相似文献

A considerable number of studies can be found on the thermal conductivity of nanofluids in which Al2O3 nanoparticles are used as additives. In the present study, the aim is to measure the thermal conductivity of very narrow Al2O3 nanoparticles with the size of 5 nm suspended in water. The thermal conductivity of nanofluids with concentrations up to 5 % is measured in a temperature range between 26 and 55 °C. Using the experimental data, a correlation is presented as a function of the temperature and volume fraction of nanoparticles. Finally, a sensitivity analysis is performed to assess the sensitivity of thermal conductivity of nanofluids to increase the particle loading at different temperatures. The sensitivity analysis reveals that at a given concentration, the sensitivity of thermal conductivity to particle loading increases when the temperature increases.  相似文献
