The robust stabilization of linear systems with constant uncertainties against structured perturbations using Lyapunov's theory is investigated. The only information needed on the uncertainties is the knowledge of their boundaries. The matching conditions of the uncertain systems are not required to be satisfied. It is first shown that, under some assumptions, the system can be transformed into a certain canonical controllable companion form. Then, under some additional assumptions, the existence of a linear controller which stabilizes the system based on Lyapunov's theory is shown.  相似文献

We investigate linear time-invariant scalar-input systems with constant uncertainties that are not required to satisfy matching conditions. In a previous paper, the existence of stabilizing discontinuous controllers is established under three assumptions for such systems. The first assumption requires controllability of the system for each uncertainty. The second is a condition on an uncertain Lyapunov equation, and the third is a boundedness condition related to the controllability matrix. In this paper, using the same assumptions, we show the existence of a linear stabilizing control. Our result is related to the high-gain theorem of classical control.  相似文献

We consider the robust control design problem for a class of nonlinear uncertain systems. The uncertainty in the system may be due to parameter variations and/or nonlinearity. It may be possibly fast, time-varying. The system does not satisfy the so-called matching condition. Under a state transformation, which is based on the possible bound of the uncertainty, a robust control scheme can be designed. The control renders the original uncertain system practically stable. Furthermore, the uniform ultimate boundedness ball and uniform stability ball of the original system can be made arbitrarily small by suitable choice of design parameters.  相似文献

This paper deals with output feedback guaranteed cost control problem for a general class of uncertain linear discrete delay systems, where the state and the observation output are subjected to interval time-varying delay. The proposed output feedback controller uses the observation measurement to exponentially stabilize the closed-loop system and guarantee an adequate level of system performance. By constructing a set of augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals, a delay-dependent condition for the robust output feedback guaranteed cost control is established in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Three numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

The linear state feedback synthesis problem for uncertain linear systems with state and control constraints is considered. We assume that the uncertainties are present in both the state and input matrices and they are bounded. The main goal is to find a linear control law assuring that both state and input constraints are fulfilled at each time. The problem is solved by confining the state within a compact and convex positively invariant set contained in the allowable state region.It is shown that, if the controls, the state, and the uncertainties are subject to linear inequality constraints and if a candidate compact and convex polyhedral set is assigned, a feedback matrix assuring that this region is positively invariant for the closed-loop system is found as a solution of a set of linear inequalities for both continuous and discrete time design problems.These results are extended to the case in which additive disturbances are present. The relationship between positive invariance and system stability is investigated and conditions for the existence of positively invariant regions of the polyhedral type are given.The author is grateful to Drs. In this paper, guaranteed cost control is investigated for switched random nonlinear systems against multiple state delays, model uncertainties, intermittent sensor and actuator faults. Other factors containing nonlinear dynamics, external disturbances as well as measurement noise are also considered. This is the first try to realize guaranteed cost control for uncertain switched random nonlinear systems against multiple time delays. In practice, color noise is more common than white noise in some specific situations. Thus, this paper considers random systems with color noise. In contrast to the previous study works, the suggested system can be applied to a wider range. First, a dynamic full-order output feedback controller is established to make the system stable. And an entire closed-loop system is got to achieve guaranteed cost control. Then, the multiple delay-dependent sufficient conditions are acquired through the piecewise Lyapunov function in the framework of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In the meantime, controller gain matrices are obtained. At last, two simulation examples are presented to verify the availability of the suggested approach.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with stability analysis of a class of nonlinear switched discrete-time systems. Systems of the class appear in numerical simulation of continuous-time switched systems. Some linear matrix inequality type stability conditions, based on the common Lyapunov function approach, are obtained. It is shown that under these conditions the system remains stable for any switching law. The obtained results are applied to the analysis of dynamics of a discrete-time switched population model. Finally, a continuous state feedback control is proposed that guarantees the uniform ultimate boundedness of switched systems with uncertain nonlinearity and parameters.  相似文献

In this paper, the robust guaranteed cost control problem for a class of uncertain linear differential systems of neutral type with a given quadratic cost functions is investigated. The uncertainty is assumed to be norm-bounded and time-varying nonlinear. The problem is to design a state feedback control laws such that the closed-loop system is robustly stable and the closed-loop cost function value is not more than a specified upper bound for all admissible uncertainty and time delay. A criterion for the existence of such controllers is derived based on the matrix inequality approach combined with the Lyapunov method. A parameterized characterization of the robust guaranteed cost controllers is given in terms of the feasible solutions to the certain matrix inequalities. A numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of stabilizing an uncertain linear system using state feedback control. The uncertain systems under consideration are described by state equations containing unknown but bounded uncertain parameters. The uncertain parameters are classified into two types: either constant or time-varying. Indeed, the main feature of this paper is that it allows one to exploit the fact that some of the uncertain parameters are constant. In order to investigate the question of stabilizability, quadratic Lyapunov functions are used. Hence, the paper deals with the notion of quadratic stabilizability. The main result of the paper is a necessary and sufficient condition for the quadratic stabilizability of the uncertain systems under consideration.  相似文献

The guaranteed cost control (GCC) problem involved in decentralized robust control of a class of uncertain nonlinear large-scale stochastic systems with high-order interconnections is considered. After determining the appropriate conditions for the stochastic GCC controller, a class of decentralized local state feedback controllers is derived using the linear matrix inequality (LMI). The extension of the result of the study to the static output feedback control problem is discussed by considering the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) conditions. We study the common linear copositive Lyapunov functions of positive linear systems. Firstly, we present a theorem on pairs of second order positive linear systems, and give another proof of this theorem by means of properties of geometry. Based on the process of the proof, we extended the results to a finite number of second order positive linear systems. Then we extend this result to third order systems. The development of flexible manufacturing systems calls for industrial robots characterized by robustness of performance with regard to the variations of the loads and real time specification of the trajectory in the work space. In this paper, the design of a feedback controller guaranteeing such performance is considered. At first, the manipulator dynamics are embedded into a larger class of uncertain dynamical systems and a class of feedback controls is proposed that guarantees uniform ultimate boundedness of the tracking error. Successively, the methodology is specialized for the case of robotic manipulators to track trajectories described in task-oriented coordinates; the proposed control algorithm operates without requiring any explicit coordinate transformation.  相似文献

In the paper, one class of differential systems with nonlinearities satisfying sector constraints is considered. We study the case where some of the sector constraints are given by linear inequalities, and some by nonlinear ones. It is assumed that the coefficients in the system can switch from one set of values to another. Sufficient conditions for the asymptotic and practical stability of the zero solution of the system are investigated using the direct Lyapunov method and the theory of differential inequalities. Restrictions on the switching law that provide a given region of attraction and ultimate bound for solutions of the system are obtained. An approach based on the construction of different differential inequalities for the Lyapunov function in different parts of the phase space is proposed, which makes it possible to improve the results obtained. The results are applied to the analysis of one automatic control system.  相似文献

Russell has observed that a linear system is controllable provided it is stabilizable in both positive and negative time. We give a version of this result valid for nonlinear systems, and illustrate its use by giving new proofs of two classical results from control theory, the first involving bounded perturbations of controllable linear systems, and the second involving controllability of linear systems by bounded controls.This research was supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.  相似文献
