理论研究了金纳米球壳的几何结构参数, 及物理参量对局 域表面等离激元共振波长调谐特性的影响. 结果表明, 随着壳层厚度的增大, 球壳消光共振峰先蓝移后红移, 高阶峰转向时对应的壳层厚度比低阶峰大, 且该厚度与球壳内径的比值随内径尺寸的增大而减小, 随内核材料或外界环境介电常数的增大而增大, 散射共振峰也有类似的移动规律. 利用电子杂化效应和相位延迟效应对该现象进行了理论解释.  相似文献

We propose a square-core metallic nanotube array and investigate its optical transmission property theoretically. We find that the transmission spectra can be tuned by the width of square-core edge, the intertube spacing and the dielectric constants of the core and the embedding medium between the nanotubes. We show that there is a band gap over a wide optical wavelength, and its width, number and position are sensitive to the tunable parameters. We also discuss the situation of the rectangular-core nanotube arrays and present that modification of the size of internal holes leads to redshift of the transmission spectra. Based on the localized nature of the field distributions, we show that there are local plasmonic resonant modes that originate from multipolar plasmon polaritons and a large number of opposing surface charges build up in the gap between adjacent nanotubes.  相似文献

The plasmonic properties in coupled metallic nanotube arrays are investigated theoretically by the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. We calculate the transmission spectra and the electric field distributions. We show that there is a photonic band gap over a wide optical wavelength range and the transmission spectrum depends strongly on the inner radii, the separation distance and the number of the nanotubes. Based on the localized nature of the field distribution, we also clearly show that the presence of local plasmon resonant modes that originate from multipolar plasmon polaritons and a big magnitude of opposing surface charges build up in the gap between adjacent nanotubes.  相似文献

The transmission properties of Fibonacci quasi-periodic one-dimensional photonic crystals (1DPCs) containing superconducting material are theoretically investigated based on the transfer matrix method. It is shown that the 1DPCs can possess a same photonic band gap property as the periodic structure superconducting PC. The results of transmittance spectra show that the cutoff frequency can be manipulated through the thicknesses of the superconductor and dielectric layers as well as the ambient temperature of the system. It is observed that the shift of cutoff frequency becomes more noticeable by adjusting the thickness of the superconductor layer than that of the dielectric one. Furthermore, the cutoff frequency becomes very sensitive when the system temperature is tuned to close vicinity of the critical temperature of the superconductor.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the transmission spectra and the field distributions with different defects in the gold nanotube arrays by using the finite-difference time-domain method.It is found that the optical properties of the nanotube arrays are strongly influenced by different defects.When there are no defects in the central nanotube,the values of peaks located at both sides of the photonic band gap have their maxima.Based on the distributions of electric field component E x and the total energy distribution of the electric and the magnetic field,we show that mainly a dipole field distribution is exhibited for the plasmon mode at the long-wavelength edge of the band gap but higher order modes of the composite are excited at the short-wavelength edge of the band gap.The plasmon resonant modes can also be controlled by introducing defects.  相似文献

利用传输矩阵法研究了实介电常量和含复介电常量时一维光子晶体的透射谱.结果表明:两种情况下均构成光量子阱结构,并且光量子阱结构的透射能带谱位置和结构相同,但在含复介电常量负虚部情况下共振透射峰出现很强的增益现象,而在含复介电常量正虚部情况下共振透射峰则呈现明显的衰减现象.  相似文献

 把平面波展开方法(PWM)用于2维光子晶体掺杂情况下透射特性的研究,计算得到了粗细不同的空气柱掺杂、相同半径不同介质柱掺杂、不同柱体形状掺杂情况下2维光子晶体的透射系数与入射光频率的关系曲线。结果表明2维光子晶体的禁带的宽度、位置、透过率与掺杂体半径、掺杂体介电常数、掺杂体柱体几何形状等因素有关,掺杂因素相差越大透射曲线变化越明显,特别是损耗介质的掺入更使得禁带可调要素增加。  相似文献

The optical properties of arrays of metallic (gold) nanowires deposited on dielectric substrates are studied both theoretically and experimentally. Depending on the substrate, Wood’s anomalies of two types are observed in the transmission spectra of such planar metal-dielectric photonic crystals. One of them is diffraction (Rayleigh) anomalies associated with the opening of diffraction channels to the substrate or air with an increase in the frequency of the incident light. The other type of Wood’s anomaly is resonance anomalies associated with excitation of surface quasi-guided modes in the substrate. Coupling of the quasi-guided modes with individual nanowire plasmons brings about the formation of waveguide plasmon polaritons. This effect is accompanied by a strong rearrangement of the optical spectrum and can be utilized to control the photonic bands of metal-dielectric photonic crystal slabs.  相似文献

We propose the coaxial gold nanotubes for their transmission and plasmon resonances theoretically. We find that the transmission spectra are highly adjustable by tuning the thickness of the nanotubes, the separation and the dielectric constant between the inner and outer nanotubes. The resonance peaks close to the left forbidden band gap edge are strongly correlated with the dielectric constant, the inner and outer tube thickness, and the separation between the two tubes. Based on the localized nature of the electric field distributions, we show that local plasmon resonance modes result from hybridized resonances of multifold multipolar plasmon polaritons in the cross section of the coaxial nanotubes.  相似文献

<正>The influences of the anisotropy of the outer spherically anisotropic(SA) layer on the far-field spectra and nearfield enhancements of the silver nanoshells are investigated by using a modified Mie scattering theory.It is found that with the increase of the anisotropic value of the SA layer,the dipole resonance wavelength of the silver nanoshell first increases and then decreases,while the local field factor(LFF) reduces.With the decrease of SA layer thickness, the dipole wavelength of the silver nanoshell shows a distinct blue-shift.When the SA layer becomes very thin,the modulations of the anisotropy of the SA layer on the plasmon resonance energy and the near-field enhancement are weakened.We further find that the smaller anisotropic value of the SA layer is helpful for obtaining the larger near-field enhancement in the Ag nanoshell.The geometric average of the dielectric components of the SA layer has a stronger effect on the plasmon resonance energy of the silver nanoshell than on the near-field enhancement.  相似文献

用特征矩阵法研究了由正常色散SiO2/TiO2薄膜组成的Fibonacci序列一维光子晶体在可见光波段的传输特性,并与无色散时的传输特性做了对比。结果表明,随序列项数的增加,相应的前一序列的透射谱中透射率较低的凹带逐渐变成禁带,禁带数增加;初始介质是低折射率的SiO2薄膜时比高折射率的TiO2薄膜时各序列的透射谱中的禁带数多,各禁带的宽度和中心波长基本相同;在总厚度一定的条件下,随SiO2薄膜的厚度增大(TiO2薄膜的厚度减小),禁带的宽度减小,禁带的中心波长基本不变;随入射角增大,禁带的中心波长向短波方向移动,禁带宽度变小。在其它相同条件下,无色散时的最宽禁带和最宽禁带的中心波长比有色散时的最宽禁带和最宽禁带的中心波长都有增加。  相似文献

Abstract

Plasmonic wave propagation in a chain waveguide created by a triangular array of silver nanoshell cylinder was investigated using finite element method and Finite Difference Time Domain Method. It is observed that the trimer nanoshell cylinder array provides better field propagation compared to single-chain and pair-chain nanoshell cylinder arrays. Results show that the resonant wavelength of the structure is highly sensitive to the permittivity of either the core or the surrounding medium. It is also observed that as the core thickness of the waveguide is increased surface plasmon resonance shows a red shift.  相似文献

通过外加与电磁波传播方向垂直的磁场来调控等离子体光子晶体的光子带隙结构。采用时域有限差分方法数值分析了由本征层为等离子体层和其他电介质材料层交替堆叠而成的磁化等离子体光子晶体的光子带隙结构和频谱特性。数值结果表明,光子晶体中等离子体的介电常数随着外磁场大小的变化而改变,从而使磁化等离子体光子晶体的带隙特性在一定的频率范围相应地得到调节。  相似文献

This paper studies dispersion characteristics of the transverse magnetic (TM) mode for two-dimensional unmagnetized dielectric plasma photonic crystal by a modified plane wave method. First, the cutoff behaviour is made clear by using the Maxwell--Garnett effective medium theory, and the influences of dielectric filling factor and dielectric constant on effective plasma frequency are analysed. Moreover, the occurence of large gaps in dielectric plasma photonic crystal is demonstrated by comparing the skin depth with the lattice constant, and the influence of plasma frequency on the first three gaps is also studied. Finally, by using the particle-in-cell simulation method, a transmission curve in the \Gamma -X direction is obtained in dielectric plasma photonic crystal, which is in accordance with the dispersion curves calculated by the modified plane wave method, and the large gap between the transmission points of 27~GHz and 47~GHz is explained by comparing the electric field patterns in particle-in-cell simulation.  相似文献

We present the transmission spectra of light transmitting a metallic thin film perforated with differently shaped sub- wavelength hole arrays, which are calculated by a plane-wave-based transfer matrix method. We analyze the transmission peak positions and the phase-shift angles of different surface plasmon polariton (SPP) modes by using the microscopic theoretical model proposed by Haitao Liu and Philippe Lalanne [Liu Haitao, and Lalanne Philippe 2008 Nature 452 728], in which the phase shift properties of the SPPs scattered by the subwavelength hole arrays are considered. The results show that the transmission peak position and the minus phase shift angle of the SPP increase as the hole size increases. On the other hand, the effective dielectric constant of the metallic film can be deduced by the microscopic theoretical model.  相似文献

The tunable two-dimensional photonic crystals band gap, absolute photonic band gap and semi-Dirac point are beneficial to designing the novel optical devices. In this paper, tunable photonic band gaps structure was realized by a new type two-dimensional function photonic crystals, which dielectric constants of medium columns are functions of space coordinates. However for the two-dimensional conventional photonic crystals the dielectric constant does not change with space coordinates. As the parameter adjustment, we found that the photonic band gaps structures are dielectric constant function coefficient, medium columns radius, dielectric constant function form period number and pump light intensity dependent, namely, the photonic band gaps position and width can be tuned. we also obtained absolute photonic band gaps and semi-Dirac point in the photonic band gaps structures of two-dimensional function photonic crystals. These results provide an important theoretical foundation for design novel optical devices.  相似文献

光子晶体是由两种或两种以上不同介电常数材料所构成的周期性光学纳米结构.光子晶体结构可分为一维、二维和三维,其中二维光子晶体已成为研究的热点.可调带隙的二维光子晶体可以设计出新型的光学器件,因此,对它的研究具有重要的理论意义和应用价值.本文提出的二维新型函数光子晶体可以实现光子晶体带隙的可调性.所谓二维函数光子晶体,即组成它的介质柱的介电常数是空间坐标的函数,它不同于介电常数为常数的二维常规光子晶体.二维函数光子晶体是通过光折变非线性光学效应或电光效应使介质柱的介电常数成为空间坐标的函数.运用平面波展开法给出了TE和TM波的本征方程,由傅里叶变换得到二维函数光子晶体介电常数ε(r)的傅里叶变换ε(G),其傅里叶变换比常规二维光子晶体的复杂.计算发现当介质柱介电常数为常数时,其傅里叶变换与常规二维光子晶体的相同,因此二维常规光子晶体是二维函数光子晶体的特例.在此基础上具体研究了二维函数光子晶体TE波和TM波的带隙结构,其介质柱介电常数函数形式取为ε(r)=k·r+b,其中k,b为可调的参数.并与二维常规光子晶体TE波和TM波的带隙结构进行了比较,发现二维函数光子晶体与二维常规光子晶体TE波和TM波的带隙结构有明显的区别,二维函数光子晶体的带隙数目、位置以及宽度随参数k的变化而发生改变.从而实现了二维函数光子晶体带隙结构的可调性,为基于二维光子晶体的光学器件的设计提供了新的设计方法和重要的理论依据.  相似文献

A two-dimensional photonic crystal heterostructure, which consists of two photonic crystals of a square lattice of circular columns with reverse dielectric configurations, is proposed. Photonic band gap properties are calculated using a plane-wave method and the transmission spectra are obtained. After optimization, the relative width of the complete band gap reached 13.8% based on the simple unit-cell shape and crystal lattice. The photonic crystal heterostructure opens up new ways of engineering photonic band gap materials and designing photonic crystal devices.  相似文献

通过增加外磁场来调控等离子体光子晶体的光子带隙结构,采用时域有限差分算法分析了由本征层为磁化等离子体层和其他电介质材料层交替堆叠而成的磁化等离子体光子晶体的光子带隙结构,数值模拟中采用完全匹配层吸收边界条件以防止边界的反射。由于外磁场的法拉第磁光效应,使等离子体的介电常数随着外磁场的变化而改变。数值结果表明,等离子体光子晶体的带隙特性在一定的频率范围相应地得到调节,实现了频率低于等离子体频率的电磁波也能在等离子体中传播。  相似文献
