For a weakly operator harmonizable process a relation between the Wold decompositions of the original process and of its operator stationary dilation process is obtained. The Cramer decomposition is defined for weakly operator harmonizable processes and is considered in connection with their operator stationary dilation processes. It is known that any function in a Hilbert Bargmann–Fock space can be represented as the sum of a solution of a given homogeneous differential equation with constant coefficients and a function being a multiple of the characteristic function of this equation with conjugate coefficients. In the paper, a decomposition of the space of entire functions of one complex variable with the topology of uniform convergence on compact sets for the convolution operator is presented. As a corollary, a solution of the de la Vallée Poussin interpolation problem for the convolution operator with interpolation points at the zeros of the characteristic function with conjugate coefficient is obtained.  相似文献

The problem of construction a quantum mechanical evolution for the Schrödinger equation with a degenerate Hamiltonian which is a symmetric operator that does not have selfadjoint extensions is considered. Self-adjoint regularization of the Hamiltonian does not lead to a preserving probability limiting evolution for vectors from the Hilbert space but it is used to construct a limiting evolution of states on a C*-algebra of compact operators and on an abelian subalgebra of operators in the Hilbert space. The limiting evolution of the states on the abelian algebra can be presented by the Kraus decomposition with two terms. Both of these terms are corresponded to the unitary and shift components of Wold’s decomposition of isometric semigroup generated by the degenerate Hamiltonian. Properties of the limiting evolution of the states on the C*-algebras are investigated and it is shown that pure states could evolve into mixed states.  相似文献

Given a row contraction of operators on a Hilbert space and a family of projections on the space that stabilizes the operators, we show there is a unique minimal joint dilation to a row contraction of partial isometries that satisfy natural relations. For a fixed row contraction the set of all dilations forms a partially ordered set with a largest and smallest element. A key technical device in our analysis is a connection with directed graphs. We use a Wold decomposition for partial isometries to describe the models for these dilations, and we discuss how the basic properties of a dilation depend on the row contraction.

We introduce a notion called `maximal commuting piece' for tuples of Hilbert space operators. Given a commuting tuple of operators forming a row contraction, there are two commonly used dilations in multivariable operator theory. First there is the minimal isometric dilation consisting of isometries with orthogonal ranges, and hence it is a noncommuting tuple. There is also a commuting dilation related with a standard commuting tuple on boson Fock space. We show that this commuting dilation is the maximal commuting piece of the minimal isometric dilation. We use this result to classify all representations of the Cuntz algebra coming from dilations of commuting tuples.

Summary We show that strongly continuous unitary Markov cocycles on Fock space are solutions of a quantum stochastic Schrödinger equation and give their explicit form through a decomposition of Fock space on the eigenspaces of the number operator. We also give necessary and sufficient conditions for a generalized Hamiltonian to be the generator of such a cocycle. This generalizes the work of Hudson and Parthasarathy in the norm-continuous case.  相似文献

An arbitrary linear relation (multivalued operator) acting from one Hilbert space to another Hilbert space is shown to be the sum of a closable operator and a singular relation whose closure is the Cartesian product of closed subspaces. This decomposition can be seen as an analog of the Lebesgue decomposition of a measure into a regular part and a singular part. The two parts of a relation are characterized metrically and in terms of Stone’s characteristic projection onto the closure of the linear relation.  相似文献

Linear sums of two composition operators of the multi-dimensional Fock space are studied. We show that such an operator is bounded only when both composition operators in the sum are bounded. So, cancelation phenomenon is not possible on the Fock space, in contrast to what have been known on other well-known function spaces over the unit disk. We also show the analogues for compactness and for membership in the Schatten classes. For linear sums of more than two composition operators the investigation is left open.  相似文献

In this paper, we study a nonself-adjoint singular 1D Hamiltonian (or Dirac type) system in the limit-circle case, with a spectral parameter in the boundary condition. Our approach depends on the use of the maximal dissipative operator whose spectral analysis is adequate for the boundary value problem. We construct a self-adjoint dilation of the maximal dissipative operator and its incoming and outgoing spectral representations so that we can determine the scattering matrix of dilation. Moreover, we construct a functional model of the dissipative operator and specify its characteristic function using the solutions of the corresponding Hamiltonian system. Based on the results obtained by the theory of the characteristic function, we prove theorems on completeness of the system of eigenvectors and associated vectors of the dissipative operator and Hamiltonian system.  相似文献

We study the spectral function of the operator ?δ+v(x) in three-dimensional space, where v(x) is measurable and belongs to L2. We study the differentiability of this function with respect to some measure. Simultaneously, we give estimates of the characteristic functions of a continuous spectrum at infinity. This justifies the decomposition of an arbitrary function in terms of the characteristic functions of an operator with this type of potential.  相似文献

This paper introduces two main concepts, called a generalized Watson transform and a generalized skew-Watson transform, which extend the notion of a Watson transform from its classical setting in one variable to higher dimensional and noncommutative situations. Several construction theorems are proved which provide necessary and sufficient conditions for an operator on a Hilbert space to be a generalized Watson transform or a generalized skew-Watson transform. Later papers in this series will treat applications of the theory to infinite-dimensional representation theory and integral operators on higher dimensional spaces.

Motivated by a general dilation theory for operator-valued measures, framings and bounded linear maps on operator algebras, we consider the dilation theory of the above objects with special structures. We show that every operator-valued system of imprimitivity has a dilation to a probability spectral system of imprimitivity acting on a Banach space. This completely generalizes a well-known result which states that every frame representation of a countable group on a Hilbert space is unitarily equivalent to a subrepresentation of the left regular representation of the group. We also prove that isometric group representation induced framings on a Banach space can be dilated to unconditional bases with the same structure for a larger Banach space. This extends several known results on the dilations of frames induced by unitary group representations on Hilbert spaces.  相似文献

Summary For symmetric stable sequences, notions of innovation and Wold decomposition are introduced, characterized, and their ramifications in prediction theory are discussed. As the usual covariance orthogonality is inapplicable, the non-symmetric James orthogonality is used. This leads to right and left innovations and Wold decompositions, which are related to regression prediction and least p th moment prediction, respectively. This paper deals with the relationship between the positivity of the Fock Toeplitz operators and their Berezin transforms. The author considers the special case of the bounded radial function φ(z) = a + be~(-α|z|~2)+ ce~(-β|z|~2), where a, b, c are real numbers and α, β are positive numbers. For this type of φ, one can choose these parameters such that the Berezin transform of φ is a nonnegative function on the complex plane, but the corresponding Toeplitz operator Tφ is not positive on the Fock space.  相似文献
