Associative Dialgebras from a Structural Viewpoint

In this note we study associative dialgebras proving that the most interesting such structures arise precisely when the algebra is not semiprime. In fact the presence of some “perfection” property (simpleness, primitiveness, primeness, or semiprimeness) imply that the dialgebra comes from an associative algebra with both products ? and ? identified. We also describe the class of zero-cubed algebras and apply its study to that of dialgebras. Finally, we describe two-dimensional associative dialgebras.     

On the structure of split Leibniz triple systems

We study the structure of arbitrary split Leibniz triple systems with a coherent 0-root space. By developing techniques of connections of roots for this kind of triple systems, under certain conditions, in the case of T being of maximal length, the simplicity of the Leibniz triple systems is characterized.     

On Integrable roots in split Lie triple systems

We focus on the notion of an integrable root in the framework of split Lie triple systems T with a coherent 0-root space. As a main result, it is shown that if T has all its nonzero roots integrable, then its standard embedding is a split Lie algebra having all its nonzero roots integrable. As a consequence, a local finiteness theorem for split Lie triple systems, saying that whenever all nonzero roots of T are integrable then T is locally finite, is stated. Finally, a classification theorem for split simple Lie triple systems having all its nonzero roots integrable is given.     

On split Lie triple systems

We begin the study of arbitrary split Lie triple systems by focussing on those with a coherent 0-root space. We show that any such triple systems T with a symmetric root system is of the form T = + Μ _j I _j with a subspace of the 0-root space T ₀ and any I _j a well described ideal of T, satisfying [I _j , T, I _k ] = 0 if j ≠ k. Under certain conditions, it is shown that T is the direct sum of the family of its minimal ideals, each one being a simple split Lie triple system, and the simplicity of T is characterized. The key tool in this job is the notion of connection of roots in the framework of split Lie triple systems.     

Conformal representations of Leibniz algebras

We study the embedding construction of Lie dialgebras (Leibniz algebras) into conformal algebras. This construction leads to the concept of a conformal representation of Leibniz algebras. We prove that each (finite-dimensional) Leibniz algebra possesses a faithful linear representation (of finite type). As a corollary we give a new proof of the Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt theorem for Leibniz algebras.     

Nonlinear generalized Lie triple derivation on triangular algebras

Let ? be a commutative ring with identity and let 𝔄 = Tri(𝒜,?,?) be a triangular algebra consisting of unital algebras 𝒜,? over ? and an (𝒜,?)-bimodule ? which is faithful as a left 𝒜-module as well as a right ?-module. In this paper, we prove that under certain assumptions every nonlinear generalized Lie triple derivation G_L:𝔄→𝔄 is of the form G_L = δ+τ, where δ:𝔄→𝔄 is an additive generalized derivation on 𝔄 and τ is a mapping from 𝔄 into its center which annihilates all Lie triple products [[x,y],z].

Varieties of dialgebras and conformal algebras

We introduce and study the concept of a variety of dialgebras which is closely related to the concept of a variety of conformal algebras: Each dialgebra of a given variety embeds into an appropriate conformal algebra of the same variety. In particular, the Leibniz algebras are exactly Lie dialgebras, and each Leibniz algebra embeds into a conformal Lie algebra.     

Deformation Theory of Dialgebras

We develop deformation theory of (associative) dialgebras and show that perturbation of algebraic structures of a dialgebra is controlled by the dialgebra cohomology.     

On Enveloping Lie Algebras of Hyporeductive Triple Algebras

The notion of a hypoderivation of binary-ternary algebras is introduced. A hypoderivation is a generalization both of a derivation and a pseudoderivation of such algebras. From the external direct sum of a hyporeductive triple algebra (h.t.a.) with the vector space of pairs constituted by hypoderivations and their companions, a Lie algebra with a hyporeductive decomposition (and accordingly a hyporeductive pair) enveloping the given h.t.a. is constructed. A nontrivial 3-dimensional Lie algebra with hyporeductive decomposition is presented. Examples of h.t.a. are also given.

An Equivalence of Categories for Lie Color Algebras

Abstract

Let k be a field with char k = p > 0 and G an abelian group with a bicharacter λ on G. For each p-(G,λ)-Lie color algebra L over k the p-universal enveloping algebra u(L) is a G-graded Hopf algebra,i.e.,a Hopf algebra in the category ^kG ? of kG-comodules. In this paper we describe a subcategory of ^kG ? which is equivalent to the category of the finite dimensional p-(G,λ)-Lie color algebras over k.     

Leibniz algebras constructed by Witt algebras

ABSTRACT

We describe infinite-dimensional Leibniz algebras whose associated Lie algebra is the Witt algebra and we prove the triviality of low-dimensional Leibniz cohomology groups of the Witt algebra with the coefficients in itself.
