EXPLICIT CONSTRUCTION FOR LOCAL ISOMETRIC IMMERSIONS OF SPACE FORMS

By using Darboux transformations, the authors give the explicit construction for local isometric immersions of space forms Mn(c) into space forms M2n-1(c + ε2) via purely algebraic algorithm.     

NEW EXPLICIT SOLUTIONS TO THE （2＋1）-DIMENSIONAL BROER-KAUP EQUATIONS

Applying the homogeneous balance method, we have found the explicit and soliton solutions and given a successive formula of finding explicit solutions to the(2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup equations. Moreover, by using the Lie group method, we have discussed the similarity solutions to the (2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kanp equations.

This article proves the existence of Julia directions of value distribution of holomorphic mapping f from the unit disk into the n-dimensional complex projective space P n(C) under the assumption lim sup r→1-T(r,f)/log 1/1-r=+∞ for hypersurfaces in general position.A heuristic principle concerning the existence of Julia directions of holomorphic mappings from the unit disk into P n(C) is given also.

The vertex set of this graph is π(G), and two distinct vertices p, q are joined by an edge if and only if pq ∈π e (G). In this case, we write p ～ q. For p ∈π(G), put deg(p) := |{ q ∈π(G) | p ～ q }| , which is called the degree of p. We also define D(G) := (deg(p 1 ), deg(p 2 ), ··· , deg(p k )), where p 1 < p 2 < ··· < p k , which is called the degree pattern of G. We say a group G is k-fold OD-characterizable if there exist exactly k non-isomorphic finite groups with the same order and degree pattern as G. Specially, a 1-fold OD-characterizable group is simply called an OD-characterizable group. Let L := U 6 (2). In this article, we classify all finite groups with the same order and degree pattern as an almost simple groups related to L. In fact, we prove that L and L.2 are OD-characterizable, L.3 is 3-fold OD-characterizable, and L.S 3 is 5-fold OD-characterizable.

In this article, we find a useful condition （using the Krein-Milman property） under which an into-isometric mapping from the unit sphere of e（Γ） to the unit sphere of a normed space E can be linearly isometric extended.
