Ab initio self-consistent field(SCF) and Mφller-Plesset correlation correction methods employing 6-31G^** basis set have been applied to the optimizations of nitroamine dimers.The binding energies have been corrected for the basis set superposition error (BSSE) and the zero-point energy.Theree optimized dimers have been obtained.The BSSE corrected binding energy of the most stable dimer is predicted to be -31.85kJ/mol at the MP4/6-31G^**//MP2/6-31G^** level.The energy barriers of the Walden conversion for -NH2 group are 19.7kJ/mol and 18.3kJ/mol for monomer and the most stable dimer,respectively.The molecular interaction makes the internal rotation around N1-N2 even more difficult.The thermodynamic properties of nitroamine and its dimers at different temperatures have been calculated on the basis of vibrational analyses.The change of the Gibbs free energy for the aggregation from monomer to the most stable dimer at standard pressure and 298.2 K is predicted to be 14.05kJ/mol.  相似文献

Mixed distannoxane dimers [ClR2SnOSnR2′Cl]2 were synthesized by the reaction of R2SnO(R=Bu,Pr) and R2SnCl2(R=Me,Ph,Cy,Oct). The crystal structures of compound 1 and 5 show they are ladder-type dimers that contain a central planar Sn2O3 four-membered ring. Both endo-and exo-Sn atoms are five-coordinate.  相似文献

The catalytic performance of Ni(η^5-Ind)2 complex in the dimerization of propylene was studied in combimation with an organoaluminum co-catalyst,eventually in the presence of a phosphine ligand.The effects of the type of aluminum co-catalyst and its relative amount,the nature of phosphine ligand and P/Ni ratio as well as the reaction temperature were examined.The results indicated that the nickel precatalyst exhibited high productivity for the propylene dimerization together with organoaluminum.It was likely to strongly modify the reactivity in the catalytic sytem when using phosphine ligand as additives,especially at the reaction temperature below 0℃.The catalytic system based on Ni(η^5-Ind)2 complex displaed an extremely high productivity(TOF up to 16900h^-1)and a good regioselectivity to 2,3-dimethylbutenes (2,3-DMB) in dimers(66.4%)under proper reaction parameters.  相似文献

The structures, the binding energies and the thermodynamic properties of formamide and hydroxyacetonitrile(HAN) dimers have been studied by means of the self-consistent ab initio Hartree-Fock and the second-order Mφller-Plesset correlation energy correction methods. The counterpoise procedure was used to check the basis set superposition error(BSSE) of the binding energies. There exist cyclic structures in a formamide dimer(Ⅰ), a HAN dimer(Ⅱ) and their heterodimer(Ⅲ). The corrected binding energies for dimers Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ are respectively -45.53, -45.83 and -43.89 kJ/mol at the MP2/aug-cc-p VDZ//HF/aug-cc-p VDZ level. The change of the Gibbs free energies(ΔG) in the process of Ⅰ Ⅱ→2Ⅲ was predicted to be -2.74 kJ/mol at 298.15 K. Dimer Ⅲ can be spontaneously produced in the mixture of formamide and HAN, which is in agreement with the experimental fact that most cyanohydrins are capable of interacting with dipeptide cyclo-His-Phe(CHP).  相似文献

Theoretical simulation of the adsorption and dissociation of two NO molecules at the Cu^2+, Cr^3+ and bridge Cr^3+ sites (b-Cr^3+) on the normal spinel CuCr2O4 (100) surface has been carried out by density functional theory calculations. The results show that the formed N-down and O-down NO dimers are negatively charged. The formation of stable O-down dimers on the surface leads to the great elongation of N-O bond, which contributes to the NO reduction. The transition-state calculations indicate that the decomposition of O-down NO dimer at the b-Cr^3+ site is most favorable and N2O is the major reduction product.  相似文献

Three distannoxane dimers[(PhCH2)2(Cl)SnOSn(X)(CH2Ph)2]2(X=Cl,OMe,OEt)were prepared by the hydrolytic reaction of (PhCH2)2SnCl2 with sodium alkoxides.The compounds are assigned tetranuclear distannoxane structures in solid state.which contain the so-called ladder arrangement with a central planar Sn2O2 four-membered ring.The endo-and exo-cyclic Sn atoms are both five-coordinate,and have distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometries.A variety of hydrolyses of(PhCH2)2SnCl2 were performed and these dimers were characterized by IR,^1H NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

4,5-Diphenyl, 4,5-di(4-methylphenyl), 4,5-di(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-(2,5-dimethylthioph-en-3-yl)imidazoles were synthesized. Oxidation of the obtained imidazoles with potassium ferricyanide in water-alcohol solution of alkali gave the corresponding dimers. The structures were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, mass spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The dimers showed photochromism in solution on irradiation.  相似文献

Photochromic spiropyran with a long chain alkyl substitute can form axial complexes with α-, β-, and γ-cyclodextrin, respectively. The complexes show normal photochromism. The novel property of the colored forms of the inclusion complexes is that they can assemble into dimers at relatively low concentration or J-aggregates at relatively high concentration. For α-, β-, and γ-cyclodextrin, λ_(max) of the J-aggregates appear at 700 650, and 630 nm, respectively. The sizes of the cavities of cyclodextrins have very little effect on the spectra and decoloration kinetics of the dimers, but have great effects on the spectra of the J-aggregates. Unlike the charge transfer complex of Krongauz, the decoloration process of the dimers or J-aggregates cannot be described by an exponential or a two-exponential kinetics, but obey half-order kinetics very well. Recent interest in the application of density functional theory prompted us to test various functionals for the van der Waals interactions in the rare-gas dimers, the alkaline-earth metal dimers, zinc dimer, and zinc-rare-gas dimers. In the present study, we report such tests for 18 DFT functionals, including both some very recent functionals and some well-established older ones. We draw the following conclusions based on the mean errors in binding energies and complex geometries: (1) B97-1 gives the best performance for predicting the geometry of rare-gas dimers, whereas M05-2X and B97-1 give the best energetics for rare-gas dimers. (2) PWB6K gives the best performance for the prediction of the geometry of the alkaline-earth metal dimers, zinc dimers, and zinc-rare-gas dimers. M05-2X gives the best energetics for the metal dimers, whereas B97-1 gives the best energetics for the zinc-rare-gas dimers. (3) The M05 functional is unique in providing good accuracy for both covalent transition-metal dimers and van der Waals metal dimers. (4) The combined mean percentage unsigned error in geometries and energetics shows that M05-2X and MPWB1K are the overall best methods for the prediction of van der Waals interactions in metal and rare-gas van der Waals dimers.  相似文献

The formation of thymine dimers in the single-stranded oligonucleotide, (dT)20, is studied at room temperature by laser flash photolysis using 266 nm excitation. It is shown that the (6-4) adduct is formed within 4 ms via a reactive intermediate. The formation of cyclobutane dimers is faster than 200 ns. The overall quantum yield for the (6-4) formation is (3.7 +/- 0.3) x 10-3, and that of the cyclobutane dimers is (2.8 +/- 0.2) x 10-2. No triplet absorption is detected, showing that either the intersystem crossing yield decreases by 1 order of magnitude upon oligomerization (<1.4 x 10-3) or the triplet state reacts with unit efficiency in less than 200 ns to yield cyclobutane dimers.  相似文献

We report on the first experimental observation of formic acid dimers composed of two molecules of the higher-energy cis conformer. The cis-cis formic acid dimers are prepared in an argon matrix by selective vibrational excitation of the ground state trans conformer (deuterated form HCOOD) combined with thermal annealing of the matrix at about 30 K. Five cis-cis formic acid dimers are predicted by ab initio calculations (interaction energies from -16.9 to -27.2 kJ mol(-1)), and these structures are used for the assignment of the experimental spectra. Selective vibrational excitation of the obtained cis-cis dimers leads to the formation of several trans-cis dimers, which supports the proposed assignments.  相似文献

Adsorption study of acetic acid on ice surfaces was performed by combining experimental and theoretical approaches. The experiments were conducted between 193 and 223 K using a coated wall flow tube coupled to a mass spectrometric detection. Under our experimental conditions, acetic acid was mainly dimerized in the gas phase. The surface coverage increases with decreasing temperature and with increasing concentrations of acetic acid dimers. The obtained experimental surface coverages were fitted according to the BET theory in order to determine the enthalpy of adsorption deltaH(ads) and the mololayer capacity N(M(dimers)) of the acetic acid dimers on ice: deltaH(ads) = (-33.5 +/- 4.2) kJ mol(-1), N(M(dimers)) = (l1.27 +/- 0.25) x 10(14) dimers cm(-2). The adsorption characteristics of acetic acid on an ideal ice I(n)(0001) surface were also studied by means of classical molecular dynamics simulations in the same temperature range. The monolayer capacity, the configurations of the molecules in their adsorption sites, and the corresponding adsorption energies have been determined for both acetic acid monomers and dimers, and compared to the corresponding data obtained from the experiments. In addition, the theoretical results show that the interaction with the ice surface could be strong enough to break the acetic acid dimers that exist in the gas phase and leads to the stabilization of acetic acid monomers on ice.  相似文献

Density functional theory (DFT) calculations have been used to investigate the d(3)d(3) bioctahedral complexes, MM'Cl(9)(5-), of the vanadium triad. Broken-symmetry calculations upon these species indicate that the V-containing complexes have optimized metal-metal separations of 3.4-3.5 A, corresponding to essentially localized magnetic electrons. The metal-metal separations in these weakly coupled dimers are elongated as a consequence of Coulombic repulsion, which profoundly influences (and destabilizes) the gas-phase structures for such dimers; nevertheless, the intermetallic interactions in the V-containing dimers involve significantly greater metal-metal bonding character than in the analogous Cr-containing dimers. These observations all show good agreement with existing experimental (solid state) results for the chloride-bridged, face-shared dimers V(2)Cl(9)(5-) and V(2)Cl(3)(thf)(6)(+). In contrast to the V-containing dimers, complexes featuring only Nb and Ta have much shorter intermetallic distances (approximately 2.4 A) consistent with d-electron delocalization and formal metal-metal triple bond formation; again, good agreement is found with available experimental data. Calculations on the complexes V(2)(mu-Cl)(3)(dme)(6)(+), Nb(2)(mu-dms)(3)Cl(6)(2-), and Ta(2)(mu-dms)(3)Cl(6)(2-), which are closely related to compounds for which crystallographic structural data exist, have been pursued and provide an insight into the intermetallic interactions in the experimentally characterized complexes. Analysis of the contributions from d-orbital overlap (E(ovlp)) stabilization, as well as spin polarization (exchange) stabilization of localized d electrons (E(spe)), has also been attempted for the MM'Cl(9)(5-) dimers. While E(ovlp) clearly dominates over E(spe) as a stabilizing factor in those dimers containing only Nb and Ta metal atoms, detailed assessment of the competition between E(ovlp) and E(spe) for V-containing dimers is obstructed by the instability of triply bonded V-containing dimers against Coulombic explosion. On the basis of the periodic trends in E(ovlp) versus E(spe), the V-triad dimers have a greater propensity for metal-metal bonding than do their Cr-triad or Mn-triad counterparts.  相似文献

The intermolecular interaction energy of the toluene dimer has been calculated with the ARS-F model (a model chemistry for the evaluation of intermolecular interaction energy between ARomatic Systems using Feller's method), which was formerly called as the AIMI model III. The CCSD(T) (coupled cluster calculations with single and double substitutions with noniterative triple excitations) interaction energy at the basis set limit has been estimated from the second-order Moller-Plesset perturbation interaction energy at the basis set limit obtained by Feller's method and the CCSD(T) correction term obtained using a medium-size basis set. The cross (C(2)) dimer has the largest (most negative) interaction energy (-4.08 kcal/mol). The antiparallel (C(2h)) and parallel (C(S)) dimers (-3.77 and -3.41 kcal/mol, respectively) are slightly less stable. The dispersion interaction is found to be the major source of attraction in the toluene dimer. The dispersion interaction mainly determines the relative stability of the stacked three dimers. The electrostatic interaction of the stacked three dimers is repulsive. Although the T-shaped and slipped-parallel benzene dimers are nearly isoenergetic, the stacked toluene dimers are substantially more stable than the T-shaped toluene dimer (-2.62 kcal/mol). The large dispersion interaction in the stacked toluene dimers is the cause of their enhanced stability.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The synthesis and characterisation of two new sets of non-symmetric liquid crystal dimers is reported, the 1-(4-substitutedazobenzene-4′-yloxy)-6-(4-cyanobiphenyl-4′-yl)hexanes (CB6OABX) and 1-(4-substitutedazobenzene-4′-yloxy)-6-(4-cyanobiphenyl-4′-yloxy)pentanes (CBO5OABX). The terminal substituents are methyl, methoxy, butyl, butyloxy, nitrile and nitro. All the CB6OABX dimers exhibit twist-bend nematic (NTB) and nematic (N) phases. The CBO5OABX dimers also all show an N phase but only the butyl and butyloxy homologues exhibit the NTB phase. The transitional behaviour of the non-symmetric dimers is compared to that of the corresponding symmetric dimers, the 1,5-bis(4-substitutedazobenzene-4′-yloxy)pentanes (XABO5OABX) and either 1,7-bis(4-cyanobiphenyl-4′-yl)heptane or 1,5-bis(4-cyanobiphenyl-4′-yloxy)pentane. The XABO5OABX dimers all show a nematic phase and in addition, the butyl homologue exhibits a smectic A phase. The difference in transitional behaviour between the CB6OABX and CBO5OABX dimers is attributed to the difference in their molecular shapes arising from different bond angles between the para axis of the cyanobiphenyl unit and the first bond in the spacer. Specifically, the all-trans conformation of a CBO5OABX dimer is more linear than that of the corresponding CB6OABX dimer. Differences within each set of dimers are attributed to changes in the average molecular shape and the strength of the mixed mesogen interaction on varying the terminal group. Crystal structures are reported for CB6OABOMe, CBO5OABNO2 and MeOABO5OABOMe.  相似文献

以1,6-二溴己烷为桥连试剂, 2-(1-羟基萘基)-5,10,15,20-四苯基卟啉及其Cu(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ), Zn(Ⅱ)配合物为原料, 合成了4个新型β,β-桥连双卟啉. 以1,3-二苯基异苯并呋喃(DPBF)为猝灭剂, 测试了双卟啉及其Ni(Ⅱ), Zn(Ⅱ)配合物在光照条件下产生单线态氧的能力, 并研究了4个双卟啉化合物在光照和无光照条件下对pBR322质粒DNA的切割能力(用凝胶电泳)和对金黄色葡萄球菌(ATCC 25923)的光敏抑菌活性. 结果表明, 新型双卟啉光敏剂具有较好光敏活性, 产生的活性氧能有效杀灭金黄色葡萄球菌.  相似文献

The binding properties of two polyamine-bridged -cyclodextrin dimers were studied by fluorescence and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
