The nonlinear dynamics of a twowave CO2 laser with continuous pumping by an electric discharge and loss modulation in both channels is investigated theoretically. In modulation of losses with the same frequencies it is possible, by changing the shift of the phases of modulating signals, to monitor simply enough the amplitude, form, duration, and depth of modulation and also the repetition rate of radiation. Depending on the shift of phases, the maximum response can be concentrated in the lowfrequency region or propagate also to the region of high frequencies. If losses in both channels are modulated with different frequencies, a change in the relationship between these frequencies predominantly leads to a change in the shape, magnitude, and structure of response in the lowfrequency region of the amplitudefrequency characteristic (AFCh). In the highfrequency region of the amplitudefrequency characteristic, beginning from the peaks of the doubling of the vibration period, where inphase modes of radiation are implemented, the response virtually does not change. Similar regularities are observed on change in the shift of phases.  相似文献

A simple technique using a novel twofrequency Bragg grating based Brillouin fiber laser to downconvert high frequency microwave photonic signals is presented. The mechanism of the Brillouin fiber laser and the principle of this technique for microwave photonic signal downconversion are analyzed. The 12GHz microwave photonic signals are experimentally downconverted to 1.13GHz IF signal with the technique.  相似文献

We investigate experimentally laser-induced collision energy transfer for transitions both from Eu(6s6p)^8 P9/2 to Sr(5s10s)^1So and from Eu(6s6p)^s-P7/2 to Sr(5s8d)^1D2.Two quasi-static wings are observed in their excited function spectra.By using two dipole-dipole interactions,a spectral line from numerical calculation is consistent with the experimental line in two quasi-static wings.  相似文献

Photodegradation of the reaction product of 1,2‐indanedione with glycine in methanol at room temperature has been studied using laser-induced fluorescence. Samples were liquid solution and developed fingerprints on papers. Continuous laser excitation of fresh solution of 1,2‐indanedione–glycine dissolved in methanol shows that the emission peak at 564 nm reached a quite stable low level after almost 1 hr of continuous excitation. For latent fingerprints on papers developed with 1,2‐indanedione dissolved in methanol solution, the luminescence peak decreases for the first week and reached a stable level for almost 2 weeks. A long‐term study is needed to reach a conclusion on the stability of the samples (liquid and developed fingerprints) at room temperature conditions.  相似文献

In this paper we assess the efficacy of a laser system, emitting at 635 nm, in methylene blue–mediated photodynamic inactivation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa that contaminates wounds, using diffuse reflectance spectrometry. The spectral plots of the contaminated wounds were recorded before and after laser irradiation, and the refractive index and extinction coefficient were determined by Kramers-Kronig analysis of reflectance spectra. The changes in optical parameter values after the treatment were corroborated with bacterial counts determined by bacteriological examination. The results revealed that the combined treatment 635-nm laser–methylene blue is an efficient way to destroy the bacteria that contaminate the wounds.  相似文献

Absorption spectroscopy is a fundamental technique for measuring quantities like inner-shell and double-electron excitations, photoionization, oscillator strength and autoionization, both for neutral and ionized atoms. Moreover, it is specifically useful for testing the validity of theoretical calculations of atomic or ionic structure. A 2ω wedge design is proposed with KDP crystal to disperse the unconverted light away from the target in a high power laser facility for inertial confinement fusion. The ultraviolet B-integral problem is released, and about 1.2 times in color separation angle is achieved according to both theoretical and experimental investigations when compared with conventional 3ω wedge. The frequency conversion etgciency is unaffected when the wedge is along the non-sensitive axis of the tripler.  相似文献

A two-order cascaded Raman fibre laser based on GeO2-SiO2 fibre and fibre Bragg gratings is fabricated.output power 309mW of the second Stockes light around 1176.2nm is obtained with a slope efficiency of 45.3%.The experimental results agree well with the simulation results obtained by using the double-pass model.  相似文献

An experimental spatialresolution facility for recording the formation dynamics of absorbing layers in a twostage atomizer is described. An optical scheme with a convergent raying beam in the atomizer zone and a hollow cathode as a radiation source is considered. The dynamics of the absorptivity signal at evaporation of Rb, NaCl, and a standard sample CASS2 has been investigated under different operating conditions of the atomizer. It is shown that the proposed evaporation–condensation–atomization regime considerably lowers the spatial gradients of absorptivity and the level of nonselective absorption in recording the atomic absorption signal.  相似文献

The effects of periodic segregation of components in metastable (supercooled or supersaturated) binary alloys in the course of kinetic phase transformations as a result of laser irradiation of heterogeneous systems were studied analytically. Nonlinear processes of temporal and spatial selforganization of concentrationrelated structures were simulated using (i) a selfconsistent system of timedependent twodimensional equations for the distribution function for the sizes and spatial coordinates of the newphase particles and (ii) balance equations for the temperature and concentration of dissolved components; the latter equations account for nonlinearity of the particlesource function, sinks, for dependences of the phasetransition temperature on the surface curvature of particles and on the concentration of components, and for diffusive motion of particles in space. The domain of existence for the instabilities under consideration and the characteristics of the formed crystallizationrelated periodic structures are determined. It is established that nanoclusters formed during supersaturation of crystallizing material may play an important role in generation of selfoscillatory crystallization modes. Hydrodynamic aspects of liquidphase concentrationrelated stratification in heterogeneous systems based on immiscible components are considered.  相似文献

The nonlinear dynamics of a CO2 laser having continuous electrical discharge pumping and loss modulation and generating in three vibrationalrotational lines of the same vibrational band is investigated theoretically. It is shown that it is possible to monitor the time and energy parameters of radiation in rather wide ranges by changing the depth and frequency of modulation and also the relationship between the constant components of losses. The character of the response of the threewave laser in loss modulation in one or two channels at certain parameters is similar to the response of a system with two degrees of freedom. In loss modulation simultaneously in three channels the response is equivalent to the response of a system with one degree of freedom.  相似文献

We have demonstrated passive mode-locking in a diode-end-pumped Nd:YV04 laser using two kinds of semiconductor absorbers whose relaxation region comes from Ino.2sGao.75As grown at low temperature (LT) and GaAs/air interface respectively. Mode-locking, using absorbers of the GaAs/air interface relaxation region, has the characteristics of less Q-switching tendency and higher average output power than that using absorbers of LT In0.25Ga0.75As relaxation region, but is not as stable as the latter.  相似文献

A systems analysis of the interaction between objects (tumor, healthy tissue, radiation, and photosensitizer of the singlet state of oxygen) involved in photodynamic therapy was carried out. A schematic diagram of the biologically significative processes proceeding under these circumstances was proposed. This schematic diagram can serve as a basis for a systems approach to the optimization of photodynamic therapy. The efficiency of the systems approach in photodynamic therapy was demonstrated using Fotosens and Khlorin S preparations, carotene, and dodecaprene -carotene in biological experiments on Wistar rats and mouses inoculated for the solid sarcoma M-1.  相似文献

A novel Littman-Metcalf external cavity laser diode array with two feedback mirrors is introduced. The linewidth broadening effect caused by smile can be reduced by the novel external cavity. At the drive current of 16A, the line-width is narrowed to 0.1 nm from free-running width of 1.6 nm with output efficiency of 84%.  相似文献

The fiber spinning technique of electrospinning has been optimized in order to prepare unidirectionally aligned and structurally oriented fibers. For this paper, we designed a new device based on a 2D period collector fabrication and electrostatic fields analysis to obtain a large area latticework fibers pattern. The pattern was composed of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)‐based sub‐micron fibers with diameters ranging from 910 nm to 1300 nm, which have potential applications in tissue cell cultures.  相似文献

Reducing the capillary-discharge current is one way of possibly decreasing the pumping power requirement. We examine the influence of various discharge currents on laser intensity and determine the suitable pre-discharge condition for a 46.9-nm discharge-pumped Ne-like Ar soft-x-ray amplifier. The experimental results show that a high additional pre-pulse current at amplitude of several kA and with a very short duration of several tens of nanosecond can effectively decrease the amplitude of the main discharge current at the lasing time. We propose a new discharge scheme of a pre~pulse plus two main pulses which appears to significantly decrease the requirement for discharge current. This in turn may decrease the pumping power requirement for the capillary discharge laser and can greatly increase laser efficiency.  相似文献
