2-Phenylseleno aldehydes and ketones were selectively obtained using solid-supported catalyst (KF/Al2O3) and PEG-400 as clean, recyclable medium in good to excellent yields. The method was applied in the preparation of highly functionalized 2-phenylseleno citronellal and citronellol, potential bactericide agents. The catalytic system KF/Al2O3 and PEG-400 can be re-used for four times without previous treatment.  相似文献

PEG-400 [poly(ethylene glycol-400)] was found to improve the Pd(OAc)2/DABCO-catalyzed aqueous Suzuki-Miyaura and Stille cross-coupling reactions. In the presence of Pd(OAc)2, DABCO, and PEG-400, a variety of aryl halides were coupled with arylboronic acids or organotin compounds efficiently to afford the corresponding cross-coupled products in moderate to excellent yields. The turnover numbers was up to 900,000 for the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction and up to 9800 for the Stille reaction. The catalyst system was also effective for Heck and Sonogashira cross-coupling reactions to some extent.  相似文献

Within the problem of the synthesis of silver nanoclusters and nanoparticles in polyether media, systems containing silver nitrate AgNO3 and low-molecular-weight polyethers, poly(ethylene glycol) PEG-400 or oxyethylated glycerol OEG-5, were studied by fast atom bombardment (FAB) mass spectrometry. The formation of stable clusters of polyether oligomers (M m ) with silver cations M m · Ag+ was shown, in agreement with the previous data of laser desorption/ionization. Quantum-chemical DFT calculations have shown that the M m · Ag+ clusters are stabilized by wrapping of the polyether chain around the silver cation with the cation coordinating ether oxygen atoms. Silver nanoclusters were not found in the FAB mass spectra of liquid systems, but Ag n + clusters were detected for silver nanoparticles separated from the reaction medium. No products of chemical transformations of PEG-400 or OEG-5 were observed by FAB. A plausible mechanism of the reduction of silver cations involving nitrate anions is discussed.  相似文献

VOx·nH2O (2.0?x?2.5) nanoribbons have been synthesized by direct hydrothermal processing of the aqueous solution of NH4VO3 and polyethylene glycol 400 (PEG-400) at pH 3.5-5.5. Techniques of XRD, SEM, TEM, HRTEM, ED, and XPS have been used to characterize the structure, morphology, and composition of the nanoribbons. The VOx·nH2O nanoribbons are up to ∼200 μm in length, 100-150 nm in width, 20-30 nm in thickness, and grow along the [010] direction. The ratios of V4+ to V5+ in the products can be readily controlled by carefully adjusting the periods of reaction time. PEG carries the roles of both transport and reducing agent. A coordination self-assembly mechanism was proposed to elucidate the formation of the VOx·nH2O nanoribbons.  相似文献

A simple and efficient one-pot method for the synthesis of new 2,4-diaryl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinolines using a three-component imino Diels-Alder cycloaddition between trans-isoeugenol or trans-anethole, anilines, and benzaldehyde in the presence of BF3·OEt2 in PEG-400, a green and reusable solvent, has been developed. Also, BF3·OEt2-catalyzed formal [3+2] cycloaddition reaction of trans-isoeugenol or trans-anethole with 1,4-benzoquinone in PEG-400 to give dihydrobenzo[b]furan derivatives has been described.  相似文献

Alkynes were oxidized efficiently using the catalytic amount of PdCl2 and CuCl2 in PEG-400 in the presence of water, providing excellent yields of the corresponding 1,2-diketones. A variety of alkynes were well-suited substrates for the oxidation under the described conditions. Further, the optimized conditions were successfully utilized for the one-pot synthesis of 2,3-disubstituted quinoxaline derivatives.  相似文献

Within the framework of a problem of the synthesis of silver nanoparticles and Ag n nanoclusters in polyethers, the systems containing silver nitrate AgNO3 and the low-molecular-weight polyethers poly(ethylene glycol) PEG-400 and oxyethylated glycerol OEG-5, in which silver ions were reduced, were studied by laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry. The occurrence of Ag n silver nanoclusters with n up to 35 in the systems was detected. For n > 2, the presence of ??magic numbers?? was observed; that is, positively charged Ag n + clusters with predominantly odd values of n were detected. Negatively charged Ag n clusters with n = 1?C3 were also detected. It was shown that one of the expected processes, namely, the formation of the stable clusters of polyether oligomers (M m ) with the silver cation M m · Ag+, took place in the test systems.  相似文献

PEG-400-H2O was found to be a green and recyclable reaction medium for asymmetric hydrogenations of aromatic ketones catalyzed by a ruthenium achiral monophosphine complex RuCl2(TPPTS)2 [TPPTS: P(m-C6H4SO3Na)3] modified by (S,S)-DPENDS [disodium salt of sulfonated (S,S)-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-ethylene-diamine]. The acetophenone product was obtained with 86.3% ee under the optimized conditions. The resulting products can be easily separated from the catalyst by extraction with n-hexane. The catalyst immobilized in PEG-400-H2O not only exhibits excellent activity and enantioselectivity, but also can be recycled and reused several times without a loss of activity or enantioselectivity.  相似文献

Nucleophilic species of tellurium and sulfur were generated in situ from the reaction of the respective diorganyl dichalcogenides with NaBH4 in PEG-400 as solvent and selectively added to electron-deficient alkenes. Chalcogenolate anions were directly added at mild conditions by this simple procedure and in all cases furnished the respective Michael adducts in short reaction times and good yields.  相似文献

Poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) has been used as a sustainable, non-volatile, and environmentally friendly reaction solvent for the synthesis of dibenz[b,f]-1,4-oxazepine (2a). PEG-400 as a promoter provided 89% of 2a within 8 h. We compared the reactivity of PEG-400 with 18-crown-6, tetra-n-butylammonium bromide and ionic liquids as phase transfer catalysts. Further, we investigated our protocol with various PEGs, with molecular weight 200, 300, 1000, 2000, 8000, 10,000, and 20,000. The reaction provided excellent yields with low as well as high molecular weight PEGs. We also studied the effect of various organic cosolvents (polar protic/aprotic/non-polar) on the reactivity of PEG-400 for the synthesis of 2a.  相似文献

Abstract

Based on the fact that nonionic surfactant polyethylene glycol-400 (PEG-400) catalyzed the chemiluminescence of luminol-H2O2 system, a novel and simple chemiluminescence method has been developed for the determination of PEG-400. Under the optimal conditions, the standard curve was Y = 198835X–2091.8, where the correlation coefficient (R) was 0.9999. The detection limit was 4 × 10?5 g·ml?1 PEG-400 and the linear range was 1.0 × 10?4–4.0 × 10?2g·ml?1. The relative standard deviation was 3.2% at 2.0 × 10?3 g·ml?1 PEG-400 (n = 7). This method has been applied to the determination of PEG-400 in cosmetic samples with satisfactory results. Furthermore, the dynamics characteristic curve of PEG-400 in luminol-H2O2 system was compared to typical metallic ion and other surfactants. Moreover, the mechanism of the luminol-H2O2-PEG-400 chemiluminescence system was studied, assisted by fluorescence spectra and UV spectra.  相似文献

The effect of a common polymer, polyethylene glycol with molecular weight of 400 (PEG-400) on the microstructure of 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (bmimBF4)/Triton X-100/cyclohexane ionic liquid (IL) reverse microemulsion has been investigated. The addition of PEG-400 leaded to the linear increase of the microemulsion droplet size, in accordance with the observation of dispersed phase, showing that PEG-400 was only solubilized into the polar interior of the IL microemulsions. FTIR spectroscopic analysis indicated that the addition of PEG-400 decreased the electrostatic interaction between the oxygen atoms of OE units and the positive electrical charged imidazolium cation of bmimBF4. At the same time, the oxygen atoms of PEG-400 can also interact with the imidazolium cation. These results suggested that small amounts of PEG-400 entered the palisade layers of the IL microemulsion. The conductivity of the IL reverse microemulsions was decreased owing to the dilution of conducting polar cores by the addition of insulative PEG-400, indicating that PEG-400 was only solubilized into the reverse IL microemulsion interior. The conclusion was further supported by viscosity measurement.  相似文献

An efficient methodology employing copper nanoparticles for the preparation of 2-naphthol condensed 1,3-oxazinone derivatives employing one-pot condensation reaction in the presence of K2CO3 and copper nanoparticles in PEG-400 is described which offers several advantages, viz. high yields, clean reaction, short reaction times, recyclability of the catalyst and simple workup procedure. PEG-400 was found to be the best solvent out of a range of solvents examined for this scheme. Moreover, PEG could stabilize the nanoparticles from oxidation and thus could increase the catalyst efficiency by escalating the TON (Turn over Number) and TOF (Turn over Frequency) of the catalyst, making the protocol greener, eco-friendly and environmentally benign.  相似文献

A simple and an efficient eco-friendly methodology has been developed for the synthesis of benzo[4,5]imidazo[1,2-a]-pyrimido[4,5-d]pyrimidin-4(1H)-ones in excellent yields under catalyst-free-conditions using inexpensive and non-toxic polyethylene glycol (PEG-400) medium. This new protocol offers an environmental acceptability, shorter reaction time, room temperature, low cost, high yields, and recyclability of the PEG-400 medium are the important features. Zr2(MoO4)(PO4)2 is orthorhombic (Sc2W3O12 structure) from 9 to at least 400 K, and shows anisotropic volume negative thermal expansion (αa=−8.35(4)×10−6 K−1; αb=3.25(3)×10−6 K−1; αc=−8.27(5)×10−6 K−1 in the range 122-400 K) similar in magnitude to A2M3O12 (M—Mo or W) with large A3+. The contraction on heating is associated with a pattern of Zr-O-Mo/P bond angle changes that is somewhat similar, but not the same as that for Sc2W3O12. On heating, the most pronounced reductions in the separation between the crystallographic positions of neighboring Zr and P are not associated with significant reductions in the corresponding Zr-O-P crystallographic bond angles, in contrast to what was seen for Sc2W3O12.  相似文献

The relaxor ferroelectric Pb2Bi4Ti5O18 has been studied by Rietveld refinement of powder neutron diffraction data collected at temperatures of 100, 250 and 400 °C. Our refinements are compatible with the ‘average’ crystal structure of Pb2Bi4Ti5O18 undergoing the phase transition sequence F2mmI4mmI4/mmm as a function of increasing temperature, with the latter phase being observed above the known ferroelectric Curie temperature, Tm, and the intermediate phase consistent with a previously observed dielectric anomaly around 207 °C. The results are, however, in conflict with both observation of a symmetry lowering (to space group B2eb) in the lowest temperature phase, observed by electron diffraction, and also with electrical property measurements, which suggest both a- and c-axis polarisation up to Tm. Nevertheless, these crystallographic results are consistent with the observation of relaxor behaviour in this material, and underline the importance of considering ‘long-range’ versus ‘local’ structural effects in relaxor materials.  相似文献

Organic sulfonyl fluorides are of interest owing to their insecticidal, germicidal and enzyme inhibitory properties. In the current work synthesis of p-toluenesufonyl fluoride was accomplished by reacting p-toluenesulfonyl chloride with solid potassium fluoride using PEG-400 as a catalyst under solid-liquid phase transfer catalysis (S-L PTC) at 30 °C. p-Toulenesulfonyl fluoride is used as peroxygen bleach activator. It also finds use in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. The mechanism is based on homogeneous solubilization of solid. PEG forms a complex with metal cation which associates with the nucleophile and it participates in SN2 type reaction. The reaction is intrinsically kinetically controlled. A complete theoretical analysis is done to determine both the rate constant and equilibrium constant from the same set of data. The activation energy and Gibbs free energy are also calculated.  相似文献

Proton NMR relaxation times T1, T1?, and T2 are reported for the compounds HTaO3 and HNbO3 in the temperature range 170–540 K. The data show that for both compounds two types of motion occur. Proton diffusion occurs in both compounds above 400 K with a correlation time, τ0c, of ~30 ps and an activation energy of ~50 kJ mole?1, approximately twice that for the localized process occurring at lower temperatures. Alternating current conductivity measurements have been used to study proton diffusion above 470 K in these compounds.  相似文献
